All Might, the Symbol of Peace has disappeared! The Public is unaware of this, same for the students. Pro Heroes have hidden this from the public eye really well but the Villains have started to catch on. They grow bolder by the day and it is up to the next generation of heroes to push back the darkness!

This is the story of Hero Class A from U.A. Academy in Japan. First year students learning how to become Heroes in such a dangerous world while also living day to day life of a High School student. They will encounter impossible challenges and daring villains, but this is what they signed up for!

Welcome to My Hero Academia: Next Generations! This roleplay will take place at the start of First Semester for the new Class A Hero Course. You will be playing as one of the chosen students for this most prestigious course. As Class A, your characters will have the pressure of the world on their back with every hero agency and citizen watching to see just how they perform.

First off the rules are pretty simple and we need to get them out of the way!

  1. All Iwaku Rules Apply
  2. Golden Rule - Treat others as you want to be treated. So that means don't be an ass.
  3. No Mary/Gary Sues - These are beginning students. Some may be more talented than others but they ALL have flaws, that is the point of starting them in the first semester. To build up through the learning and overcoming weaknesses.
  4. Post Expectancy! I am expecting one post every week at a minimum of two paragraphs for the post. One liners are hard to respond to and hard to build a scene around.
  5. No God-Modding or taking control of another persons character without permission.
  6. Commitment! Be committed to this RP. Don't join with the intention of dropping the next week!
  7. Obviously Romance between characters is fine, but no smut. Take that stuff to PMs.
  8. Have fun but this is also meant to be serious (and fun, I swear!)
  9. Ask any questions! We are here to help!
  10. OOC! The Discord is up and just talking helps keep it alive!
Here is the Character Sheet!

The Paperghost Hero

Xiao Bai
Chimera
16

Japanese-Chinese
appearance
General:
Bai possesses a rather slim shape, with average proportions for a teenage girl. Standing at 5'6", coupled with her stature, she appears rather lanky, and has an athletic, runner-type quality. Her light complexion contrasts with the warmth of her soft caramel hair, which flows down to about shoulder height with the exception of two long strands at the front. Her juvenile features are soft and perhaps a tad androgynous, and lend her a permanently excited, sometimes starstruck expression. She sports remarkably large eyes with a lavender sheen.

Civilian:
In the comfort of her home, Bai often wears plain shirts and pants, but it is no rarity to see her in a more prim blouse, often rounded out by a cute ribbon, and a skirt - usually of the ruffled kind. She also has a penchant for the more sporty types of blazers and comfortable wool cardigans. Generally, her style would best be described somewhere in between business casual and reasonably chic.

Costume:(Completely Optional)
About
Personality:
Bai is a fundamentally kindhearted person, wishing for everyone to live a healthy and satisfying life. While she has her flaws, she detests those who inflict harm for no reason, or pick on the helpless. She is also an extremely supportive friend, encouraging and helping her peers whenever she can. She is often a little bashful due to the many fortunate circumstances of her life, such as her luxurious upbringing or her Quirk, which she feels she does not deserve. However, it is entirely possible to go beyond her "breaking point", at which point she'll be quite fierce and go on the offensive, so to speak.

Having actively aimed not to follow parental formality, Bai has a tendency to play around with any items in her reach, and often fools around, quipping regularly, and generally being daring and adventurous. However, Bai is easily flustered by authoritative people, such as her parents or teachers, and will revert to a very prim and proper behavior if confronted in such a manner. Once jittery, Bai will be extremely accommodating, polite, somewhat quiet, and overall more stereotypically sophisticated. She is usually embarrassed by this, and can be teased easily by bringing this reaction to her attention. The exception to her bashful punctiliousness is her culinary expertise, which she makes no attempts to hide, and is indeed quite skilled in preparing even the most complex meals.

Her aspiration for becoming a hero is to supply comradery and someone to trust in to all those who feel alone, similar to how she felt for many years, until her cousin and sister helped her follow her dreams. She does not deny that being famous or having fans seem like a sweet deal, however, and indulges in fantasies of fame and glory every now and then.

History:
Bai was born into significant wealth, her father being the heir to a large publishing company founded by his great-great grandparents, when the Xiao family first migrated to Japan. This has afforded Bai and her older sister Fen great luxury. However, it also lead to a strict upbringing, littered with apathetic caretakers. Bai's and her sister's childhood was strictly organized by her parents and overseen by maids and tutors, so as to groom them for when they would take over the company. Bai in particular was raised with meticulous care, as her Hybrid-Quirk seemed to destine her for success.

One day Fen announced her intentions of becoming a pro-hero instead of continuing the family business, unwilling to let her heritage distract her from her altruistic goals. The relationship between Fen and her parents took a critical hit, leading her parents to invest even more into grooming Bai to become their designated heir. Most of Bai's formative years were spent studying with private tutors, further isolating her from her peers.

It wasn't until one day, when the family's chauffeur ran late, and a young man Bai remembered hadn't seen in years visited her; it was her cousin, Li Jun, who was the occasional target of her family (Fen excluded) slander. Having heard of Fen's decision and his aunt and uncle's reaction, he sought to seek out Bai, so as to ensure her that she, and only she, could choose what to do with her life. He revealed to her that his Quirk can bless others with luck, and that he had blessed her, just like Fen, on the day she was born, because he knew the hidebound attitude and stubbornness of their parents. As proof, he reminded the girl that she was one of the few people in the world lucky enough to inherit a merged Quirk. And so knowing of his gift, she should do what will bring her happiness instead of simply following her parents decree.

With a spark ignited, Bai rebelled - for the first time in her life - proclaiming her intention to follow Fen's footsteps and become a hero as well; someone to look up to, someone who would do everything she could to help those in need, and thus starting her path to attend U.A. High School.
Abilities & Talents
Quirk: Papershape

This Quirk is a hybrid of Papercraft, which she inherited from her father, and Reconfiguration, which she inherited from her mother. With this Quirk, Bai can create, manipulate and otherwise shape paper and/or paper-like substances, such as papyrus and parchment. The autonomous conjuration of paper, however, requires Bai to have ingested sufficient amounts of fiber. Thanks to the Reconfiguration Quirk, Bai can disassemble and reassemble biological matter. Due to her body recognizing paper as part of its own genetic structure, Bai is actually able to incorporate paper into her genetic reassembly.

Quirk Weakness: First and foremost, both sides of the Quirk absolutely require certain things to be fully functional. Bai cannot create paper without sufficient fiber in her body, and she must know the molecular configuration of whatever biological matter she wishes to manipulate, paper included. With the exception of paper, it is also impossible to reconfigure inorganic material. Water in general is a very efficient way to neutralize her Papyrokinesis, as it changes the structure of the material to become weak even through Bai's manipulation. Fire may also be of use, but due to the nature of anything flammable, may be risky. Furthermore, her Reconfiguration requires physical contact to be utilized.

Equipment: N/A

Talents:
● very talented chef
● quite dexterous
● can read and digest information fairly quickly

Weaknesses:
● what she has in brains, she lacks in brawn; not very athletic overall
● easy to intimidate
● her judgement is easy to cloud; she's a little naive, can take things to heart too much, and is very prone to crushing on others leading to love struck foolishness
Misc.
Opinions of Other Students:
● Suzu Fuchizaki: Harbors a slight aversion; though she doesn't want to be overly judgemental, his first impression was one of boastful ignorance, which more or less embodies everything she strives not to be.
● Shouya Azuha: No strong opinion yet. She appreciates his reservedness, but has a hard time categorizing her feelings on him. Has developed a fleeting interest in him due to him possessing a hybrid Quirk.
● Yuzuki Matsuda: Respects and admires the girl's perseverance and determination even in the face of losing her family. Feels a little intimidated by her distant attitude.
● Carlos Canabela: Likes Carlos; his goofiness and unrestrained expression is something Bai admires. She also thinks he's very interesting to look at with, mixing exotic appearance with the unique physiology his Quirk has granted him.
● Ayesha Nishinoya: Find her brattiness unbearable, but keeps criticism to herself, as she feels she'd be a hypocrite given her life's path, and her expectancy to have things her way. Tries to see the good even through traits she dislikes, so Ayesha is on her "Don't judge too hard" list.
● Momoko Matsuoka: Likes her for her thoughtful behavior, and feels somewhat friendly towards her. She also likes bookworms!

Trivia:
● Bai's hobbies are origami, cooking, reading, and making English tea.
● Her favorite animals are dogs.
● Bai loves oranges; her favorite meal is duck à l'orange and her favorite drink is sugary orange juice.
● She speaks almost fluent English.
● Bai eats at least one avocado daily so as to ingest enough fiber.

Reactions: Artorias

Full Name: Fuchizaki, Suzu
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Ethnicity: Japanese

Hero Name: Devil Man

Quirk: Devil Takeover

This Quirk gives the owner the ability to transform various body parts or the entire body into the form of a devil. This ability gives the user enhanced strength, enhanced speed, flight, durability and the final ability of being able to gather energy into the palm of the hand and shoot it into a condensed beam that can cause an explosion. It is a jack of all trades type quirk, with the downside of Bloodlust.

Quirk Weakness: The first weakness of Suzu's Quirk is that he is unable to do a full body takeover and is unable to do 'quick' transformations between body parts. He is only capable of maintaining a transformation of his arms, legs or wings but none of them at the same time. Switching out of a transformation has a 'charge' time before he is able to transform again, and causes pauses and lapses in fights. These are opportune moments to attack him as only the body parts being transformed gain the abilities of a Devil.

His body can't handle the full power of his Quirk. For example he isn't capable of transforming his arms for longer periods of time, or being able to attack at full power without ruining himself in the process.

Bloodlust is the biggest downfall for his Quirk. Like most Quirks, many people have personalities that reflect their Quirk and the same could be said with Suzu. The longer he fights and uses his Quirk, his mind will begin to slip into madness that will cause him to throw out thought and emotion and attack anyone and everyone. Ranging from Civilian, Friend to even animals.

Equipment: N/A

Personality: Suzu is a kind, but arrogant person. He views himself as the next number one hero and has allowed his ego to take part in some of his life choices. He will always be the first one to act and the last one to run. Never having met a challenge that he couldn't handle has helped stroke and boost this ego that he is a prodigy and destined for greatness and when things don't go his way he gets silent with anger.

Suzu has issues when it comes to school. He is easily embarrassed when it comes to reading out loud or having to take a test and coming across a writing portion. He has a reading disorder and keeps it a secret, not wanting to be made fun of something being wrong with him.

Willing to save others in their time of need even if it ends up with him being injured. He will still be glad that he helped and aims to keep others safe from those that would cause harm. That is why he wants to become a hero. To save those that are in need. Money, fame and the other perks that come with being a hero are just small benefits that Suzu doesn't even care about.

Backstory: Suzu's family is not wealthy but not poor. He comes from a comfortable family that gets by with just enough to spend on fun things for the children. He has an older brother and a younger sister and both look up to him because of his aspiration to become the number one hero. He was four years old when his quirk appeared and a set of wings popped out of his back. He could start flying and using the wings to wrap himself as protection but that was it. He thought his Quirk was only the ability of flight with wings and nothing else.

It wasn't until he was 8 years old and at school, a kid in the playground was being picked on by kids who were at least 10 years old maybe 11. His body acted on its own. He should of taken off to grab a teacher but instead he flew straight for the kids who were causing an issue and attacked them but he was thrown back like it was nothing because they had better quirks. He was too deep in to just run now and had to stay and fight, protect the kid who was being bullied. It was the fear and the stress that helped him unlock more of his Quirk when his wings disappeared and the sleeves of his clothes ripped. His arms had changed to be more of a deep red with black patterns, fingers now long and like claws. With that he was able to beat back the bullies and protect the kid who praised and looked up to him. It felt amazing to have that kind of praise and he finally knew what he wanted to be. A hero.

His parents asked an expert on just what his Quirk might be if it wasn't a simple one like flight and with the small data that they had to go on the best the man could think of was a "transformation". Suzu is capable of transforming certain parts of his body, which was a strong Quirk indeed but there was so much more to unlock that he just couldn't on his own. U.A High School was the prestigious school that had the most Pro Heroes and best courses. All he had to do was take the entrance exam.

He was coming close to accomplishing his goals on becoming a Hero, having passed the entrance exam and putting his heart into so the Teachers would see and hopefully choose him.

Talents:
  • Athletic
  • Holding his breath in water for close to a minute
  • Ambidextrous

Weaknesses:
  • Rushes forward without thinking things through
  • Bad at taking tests/reading
  • Large ego

Name: Azuha, Shouya
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Ethnicity: Japanese

Hero Name: Electrosmoke

Parent Quirks
:
Azuha, Motoba - His father is actually quirkless, having not inherited anything from his parents.
Azuha, Satomi - His mother has the ability to manipulate smoke, and thats something Shouya has inherited, like his siblings.
Ryogo, Fukuya - His grandmother has the ability to manipulate her lightning.

Hair Color/Style: White, with a simple hairstyle.
Eye Color: Red
Body Build: Slim

Costume:
His costume is pure black, like in the picture above. The outlines are dark red. It fits nicely around his body and to just below his chin, covering half of his neck as well. Not much makes it unique.

Costume Mods:
It cannot be seen, but his costume can or has the ability to withstand lightning, or something that's similar to it, but to a point. The mods are used to protect the user from his own Quirk, but it is only to some degree. At some point, the mods will be worn out, allowing his lightning to harm him.

Personality:
Shouya can be considered reserved, but he isn't. He tends to look serious most of the time, but is easy to interact and socialize with. He has an energetic side to him, but it will only surface during a battle or an event he very much is enjoying. Has a friendly nature, making him quite interested in others, but especially in their quirks.

Lets not forget that Shouya is extremely competitive, and if he finds an opponent worthy of defeat, he'll let him or her know. He also tends to ignore anything or anyone around him when he has his eyes set on something. Damn the consequences if anything. He is also the observant type, and would keep a keen eye on those who interest him.

Other than that, he is a professional at school, and would listen to the teachers, but if something is really wrong, or something angers him, he will keep it to himself, or at some point, be blunt and straightforward. If there is something he does not like, you will know about it. He has a knack for going after people who are extremely condescending.

To some point, Shouya is selfless. He would think about others out there, those who cannot be a hero or is having a hard time growing up. He truly respects people who have gone out of their way to strive and achieve something, and that is why he would do everything in his power to become one of the greatest heroes of all time. Because your quirk is not the only thing that defines you as a hero, your actions do as well.

Quirk:
White Lightning - Like his own grandmother, he has the ability to manipulate White Lightning. It should be a given what Shouya can do here. He has the ability to generate and manipulate lightning at will, however, its color is pure white, just like his hair. He has the capability to use it in combination with his Black Smoke Quirk, however, it all depends on how Shouya would use his White Lightning.

Second Quirk:
Black Smoke - He is able to generate Black Smoke, while using his hand(s) to move it at will. If it can focus on a single target, it is slightly faster than its normal speed. It can cover a small area to begin with, and can slowly expand from there on out. Shouya has the ability to sense two targets within the smoke. Their movement and such. He can also let go of this Quirk and use White Lightning. The latter can course through the smoke, electrifying anyone who tries to remove the smoke away with their body, however, it is only if the user wills it to. It can also be hardened to some extent, but for the time being, Shouya can create a black fang from the smoke, making it rather offensive towards a target. It is mostly used to distract his opponents, and is harmless to breathe in. He does not neccessarily need to use Black Smoke with White Lightning.

Quirk Weakness:
  • Excessive use of lightning will make a limb or two go numb. Depending on how he uses it, it can harm him as well.
  • The more exhausted Shouya is, the weaker his lightning is, making it harder for him to use it
  • An obvious weakness, but water, rubber and such can work well against his ability to manipulate lightning.
  • Overuse of this Quirk will literally have him go unconscious.
  • Depending on the distance, he may not be able to use his lightning in greater range.
Second Quirk Weakness:
  • He does not have full control of his second Quirk, and is unable to make his smoke cover a greater area, like two classrooms, for example.
  • He is unable to harden or to have it reach its true potential, so at point blank range, he is basically defenseless if he uses this Quirk to protect himself
  • If he is too weak, he is unable to muster the strength to manipulate the smoke in general, rendering his second quirk useless.
  • Something like wind, or anything similar can be used against his second Quirk, making it rather pointless.
Motto: "A hero is not defined by his quirks. Theres more to it than that."

Talents:
  • Strategic
  • Flexible
  • Endurance
  • Aggressive
  • Mid & Long Range Combat
  • Iron Will
  • Good CCF
Weaknesses:
  • Reckless
  • Team Player
  • Chaotic
  • Straightforward
History:
Azuha, Shouya, the second eldest sibling in his family of five. Excluding his parents, he has both a little and an older sister. They were all born into a simple houshold with a good, yet standard lifestyle. There isn't much to say about his family. The love from his parents was and still is undying. Growing up, he was eventually capable of manipulating and generating smoke like his siblings. It was nothing new.

Even if his father was quirkless, his family was known for the ability to manipulate smoke in general. Fortunately, unlike his father, Motoba, they all inherited a quirk. In time, his older sister wanted to become a hero and protect others out there. Obviously his little sister wanted the same. She was actually quite clingy when it came to Shouya's older sister.

The siblings had a nice relationship with one another, but at some point in the future, an incident occured in the kitchen. His mother, Satomi was in the kitchen when the electric oven malfunctioned, and Shouya was seated on the kitchen table, playing with his toys. He enjoyed spending his time with his mother. Once he saw the sparks behind the oven, a small explosion occured. Protected by his mother, they were still in some danger. The wires had come loose. They were electrifying, and reached the kitchen table. Unfortunately, the wires touched Shouya, but nothing happened. He was able to harness and control the electricity. It was a shocker to his family, but having a second quirk was not something to celebrate over.

The ability to manipulate lightning was rather bad, instead of good. It had many negative traits to it. Though once it was determined that Shouya had more than one Quirk, he was strictly told by his mother to stop using it in the future. Back then, the little boy had no idea how he could use it.

His father, Motoba had a mother, Ryogo, Fumiko, Shouya's grandmother. His grandmother was able to manipulate it. It was thanks to her, Shouya had inherited it. Even if his own mother was against the use of his second quirk, his father encouraged him to embrace it and use it like none other, but to also be careful. It was a rare and powerful quirk, but also harmful to the user.

To make sure his mother did not worry, he tried his best to keep his second quirk to himself. Use it to control it when training, but other than that, to not use it against others out there, or keep it limited. But both his siblings had only inherited the ability to manipulate smoke. The odd one out was Shouya.

Shouya eventually set out and wanted to become a hero. His mother was against it, but eventually caved in to his determination to become one. Like his sister, he too entered the Hero Academy, setting out to accomplish his goals.

Relationships:
Azuha, Motoba - There isn't much to say here really. Shouya has a good relationship with his father. When he was younger, his father helped him get a good control of his first quirk. He continously told him that in order to become a hero, one has to rely on human instincts as well, and not just the quirks.

Azuha, Satomi - A really good relationship. He knows that his mother worries too much, but understands why. She even calls him from time to time when he's at the Academy.

Azuha, Sayuki - His sweet little sister. They have a very tight relationship with one another. Like him, she too, inherited the ability to manipulate smoke. Shouya even helps her with it from time to time. Whenever he returns home from the Academy, she is one of the first who runs over and glomps her big brother.

Azuha, Tomori - His older sister, who has long since graduated from the Academy with excellent grades. She's a hero, and he does look up to her, but he doesn't make his feelings known. They have a simple relationship, but only from Shouya's side. Tomori actually loves him very much, and encourages him to use both his quirks. Whenever she's around, he knows he's in for a ton of questions. She likes to involve herself in every aspect of his personal life.

More to be added-

Blur
Profile
Full Name:
Matsuda Yuzuki
Age:
16
Gender:
Female
Ethnicity:
Japanese
Height:
164cm/5'4"
Hair Color:
White
Eye Color:
Hazel/Purple
Background

Bio:
Daughter to the illustrious hero, Blur, and another heroine with a wide reputation, Phoenix, Yuzuki was given a bright life under stars. Inheriting her father's quirk, she was ever happy to be akin to him, and admired his position as a Hero, always seeing him as a brilliant center piece to her dream of becoming a hero herself. That may have been why his death struck her almost as hard as it did her mother. As it turns out, his very Quirk killed him, as his body had deteriorated much more quickly than that of a normal human, even giving him no time to retire. In the end, he died of heart failure during a mission. As it turns out he had been having issues with his body for years on end and decided to hide it from Yuzuki.

Although Phoenix was aware, both were left devastated by his untimely death, and the repercussions reached towards the hero's father himself, Matsuda Oda. From there on life could be said to have passed by Yuzuki. She worked hard on her studies, moving on thanks to her mother's comfort. Still aspiring to become a hero someday, now given her push by both her mother and her grandfather Oda, she was never given time to spare. Most of her youth was spent training or studying, always preparing to follow on her father's steps.

Aside from that she also participated in a ground-breaking project led by her grandfather, where she got to know the old man more. Turns out that he too was a Hero in the past, much akin to her father. Unlike him, however, the old man had managed to retire and arrange a good fortune before starting off his business. Having seen his son die to his own Quirk, he created the nanites that act in the repairing of dead cells and fixing of organic deterioration caused by Quirks such as Yuzuki's and her father. The project bore fruit almost ten years after Blur's death.

It was also around that time that Yuzuki would lose another member of her family: Her mother. Phoenix died in action during a battle against a villain, managing to severely injure the villain in a suicide-bombing strategy. During that day, she had saved many lives, but that didn't stop Yuzuki's heart from breaking apart. With the last person close to her gone, she was then admitted under the wings of her grandfather, and became a severe shut-in for the majority of her years following her 13th birthday. The only times she came out were to train and to visit their graves. During these days Yuzuki questioned her own dream many times. She questioned her reasoning and her aspirations, and ultimately decided to keep on following it. Spurred by her grandfather's breakthrough in the development of the nanites, she was given his support for the act, and whatever stirred her mind during those times caused her to train harder than she ever did.

Perhaps it was the fact that she was finally unfettered or the fact that no one was there for her to make proud anymore... But Yuzuki's tenacity had been reborn from the ashes, now fueled by nothing but vengeance.

Personality:
The daughter of the illustrious hero is always confident, calm and aloof. Yuzuki is still much of what she used to be in the past, as she has lost the glimmer of happiness she used to possess. Instead it has been replaced with cold ambition. She seems to be uncaring towards most of the things around her except her still valid dream, and doesn't bother to converse much outside of the professionalism the job demands. This results in the girl often having a scowl across her face or a similarly serious expression most of the time, even when alone.

Even if this may have earned her a sour reputation among the other students, she does try her best to not get in their way. Her aspirations should not be an issue to anyone, and she makes this clearly stated through her interactions. Even if her preference is to be left alone, she does not mind if others approach her. Many times she may seem cold or uncaring, but even that is left to be wrongly interpreted since Yuzuki is in fact extremely selfless, and will go through any lengths to see others around her happy.

Her ideals having been twisted by the new desire for revenge, Yuzuki has become violent towards those who would stand in her way. The young lady is deadly towards villains and will use her Quirk to any extents to see them killed or heavily injured. Her sense of justice has been stained since the death of her mother, and now she sees herself as a walking contradiction, fighting between her father's principals or the strong sense of justice now born in her. Seeing heroism as an ideology, she sees justice as per the old saying: An eye for an eye.

However, Yuzuki can actually be very caring towards friends and close relationships like her Grandfather. Having a hard time making friends and any meaningful relationships since the death of her mother, she has become depressed with her own lack of social skills. Even before then she already had a difficult time making friends due to her name. Her aloof attitude and cold demeanor having been born from early maturity has caused a lot of people to shy away from her. Despite her other redeemable qualities, the distance she purposefully creates between herself and others has made things just worsen. The few that attempt to communicate with her do it out of admiration towards her father or pity towards her situation, both things that she deeply abhors.

Outside of school, the girl tends to keep to herself even more. She spends most of her time reading or training on her own, seeking to become always stronger or better. Particularly keen to the arts of drawing, however, one of her few hobbies may be related to artistic senses, such as writing, drawing and music. She values these objects and will proudly endorse those who present her a good show. However, nothing sparks her eyes like the culinary arts. Not by cooking, obviously, but rather because Yuzuki loves to eat. Considering herself a carnivore, she is particularly fond of eating large amounts of meat. Due to her quirk, she must constantly eat and even goes as far as bringing snacks of chocolate and such with her to keep her calorie intake significant.

This all changes a lot when situations get serious, however, and a new side of Yuzuki shines in the form of unbridled conviction. Her confidence can be considered infectious to her allies, and a taunt to her enemies. Getting extremely excited over the concept of going over the limits with her quirk, she enjoys the challenge of facing a difficult enemy and even if she doesn't consider herself honorable, she won't hide from any of the difficulties or hurdles presented to her, having an indomitable will born from her training and quirk. Coming to the U.A. with such a bright dream still in her mind, the new challenge is to reach for the stars and impress once more the two brilliant suns that always illuminated her life.
Talents and Abilities

Quirk:
Acceleration
Yuzuki has a body/bodily systems that are accelerated, making her faster and able to work quicker at the same amount of energy used. This allows her to heal and recover faster, as well as have enhanced strength, speed and reflexes as well as accelerated perceptions. This works by accelerating the very atoms of the body, making it so that organic processes occur much faster. This Quirk is considered extremely dangerous and toxic to the user, since it also accelerates other processes such as aging and diseases. As a result, people possessing this type of mutation tend to age and die almost twice as fast as the normal human.

Thanks to recent research by the Matsuda Hospital chain, the process is efficiently reverted with the use of extremely expensive nanite injections. These nanites repair and rejuvenate organic tissue at minimal level, allowing people with degenerative quirks to, instead, live three times the normal human lifespan. Of course, being the granddaughter of the owner of the chain, Yuzuki gets injections at a six month basis, and even served as the test subject for the whole project, meaning that the entirety of the nanites were projected to work perfectly on her.

Quirk Details: Moves at superhuman speeds. Metabolism is between 3 to 5 times faster than average. Practical reaction time is at least three times faster than average. Maximum running speed has been measured to be approximately 200 KM/H for ten minute bursts. She can maintain a minimum speed of 80 KM/H for two hours before fatigue and hunger impair her performance. Her body derives energy from food more efficiently than average. Muscle tissue is stronger and more resilient than normal human. Can transfer Acceleration to inanimate objects to make them move faster.
Quirk Weakness:
Even if Yuzuki were to be at peak physical performance, there are still drawbacks from her Quirk. Like all other physically enhancing quirks, hers is extremely taxing at muscle fibers, depending on her usage. Aside from that, her calorie intake has to be nearly inhuman for her to keep at top shape, and her movements become sluggish otherwise. She needs to intake approximately five to ten times the calories of a normal human of her age, height and build. Significantly fewer calories will impair her heath, causing malnutrition and eventually render her comatose. Moving at high speeds often affects how well she can hear due to the noise of the air moving past her ears.

Aside from that, any other weakness lies in the very use and tuning of the Quirk. Properly utilizing it while reducing damage to herself can be difficult, specially when Yuzuki is under effects that create pain inhibition, allowing her to ignore the muscle pain caused by overuse or wrong use. Although the Quirk grants her regenerating effects, those are not comparable to other focused healing quirks either.

Despite reaction times, moving on differing surfaces such as ice or uneven surfaces can prove difficult and impair her speed significantly before she grows accustomed to these surfaces. Attacks with large area of effects can also limit her responses, causing her to have a harder time reacting or forcing her to damage herself in sacrifice to avoid it.
Talents:

+ Physical Powerhouse
+ Sharp
+ Innovative
+ Versatile
+ Unfettered

Weaknesses:

- Poor Teamwork
- Depressive
- Brash
- Ruthless

Trivia

Relationships:
Grandpa Matsuda Oda: Her grandfather, Matsuda Oda, is currently her guardian. Living under his house, she has a good relationship with the old man, caused by the immense admiration and gratitude she has for him. Having literally saved her life more than once, and being the one who presented her recommendation to U.A., the two have a very good relation. Sometimes clash due to the old man's ostentation and pride.

Xiao Bai: "Childish and naive, yet refined when she needs to be. Can't say much other than that."

Fuchizaki Suzu: "If he works harder, he can make up for that pompous arrogance. Still, he seems like a nice person deep inside."

Azuha Shouya: "He certainly has the right attitude and quirk for the job. I'm sure he'll be a worthwhile challenge."

Canabella Carlos: "I didn't knew they let dorks into the most prestigious Hero Academy. He's a nice person, though, and that's why I hope he at least knows what he's getting into..."

Nishinoya Ayeehsa: "Too childish for her own good. When she's around I feel like I should constantly keep an eye on her at all times or she'll break something... Or everything."

Momoko Matsuoka: "She reminds me of myself before... Well, she's a nice one. All she needs is a little confidence."

Takumi Souta: "Nice if you're on his good side, annoying if you're not. To the point and not as arrogant as I initially thought, though."

Steinmann Kurumi: "She's the weirdest of the bunch. I don't think we'll get along, but I admire the way she thinks so little of things in the past... Wish I had that kind of mind. Other than that, her Quirk may be the most useful gift to humanity ever... If she knows what to make with it."

Yano Eishi: "Whenever I look at him, I have this strong feeling that I shouldn't trust him. He shouldn't be an issue, however, not with that Quirk and that attitude. I wouldn't be surprised to see him dropping after the first semester."

Mezame Nemuke: "She always looks like she's about to fall asleep... S-Should I be worried?"

Kamimasu Ryoku: "He's always asking for a punch in the face. I don't mean to say I'm the one to deliver, but he's definitely gonna get it one day."

Renji Mizukomaru: "We have some things in common, so I guess we'd get along. As if that was not enough even our Quirks have similarities. I can't wait to go up against him, he's certainly on my list of worthwhile challenges."

Equipment/Costume:
Yuzuki's equipment focuses on maximizing her own potential, and assess her quirk's functionality and risks to her own body.
Y2V6Lkk.jpg

While her costume does not add any particular quality, despite being made of a friction and fire-resistant material so that the speeds she reaches do not cause burns, and instead is focused merely in aesthetic. Yuzuki dislikes symbolism and instead works on her own power alone, not taking any weapons or offensive equipment to the field. Instead, what she carries in her pockets are several useful things when combined with her quirk or generally useful to risky situations. Since her quirk can easily injure her, Yuzuki carries an assortment of medicine and a first-aid kit in two of them. On the bigger one, steel marbles, dangerous when combined with her quirk, can be found. Despite the extra weight, Yuzuki carries marbles according to the situation. Her own costume is light and easy to move in, as to avoid counteracting her quirk's exponential potential.

The most important piece of equipment for Yuzuki, however, is the set of electronic lenses she uses. These special lenses were tailored to interact with Yuzuki's nanites and provide a feed of information regarding her own status. It also aids in her own vision, helping her see in the dark and through smoke or dust she might create with her movements. On practice, the lenses serve as a live information source for everything happening to Yuzuki, as well an assessment on the damage she has suffered.
Trivia:
  • Yuzuki must intake approximately 15,000kcal daily. To do this, she has a strict eating schedule which includes four daily lunches accompanied by snacks every 15 minutes. If it is impossible to follow the schedule, Yuzuki must instead increase either the snack amounts or the amount of food she eats during lunches.
  • Her favorite musical genre is rock and her favorite bands are American.

The Dynamic and Distinguishable Dog Man: Carlos Canabela~☆

  • [roleplay=orange]"Gotta fiiiiiind your style, baby!~☆"[/roleplay]
    Full Name: Carlos Canabela

    Age: 16

    Gender: Male

    Ethnicity: Latin American

    Height: 5'10"

    Hero Name: Nose It All

  • [roleplay=orange]"Gotta fiiiiiind your style, baby!~☆"[/roleplay]
    Super Scent

Super Scent is a mutation quirk – a quirk acquired upon birth and as such one the user can use like a second limb. It replaces the nose with the dog snout, granting super-enhanced sense of smell and a wider range of smells that include any and all visual information. Information smelled won't be visualized in the typical way, but can be understood through a 6th sense of sorts. In order for visual information to be registered by Super Scent, there must be airflow between itself and Carlos. While Super Scent operates within a long range, the typical rules of smell also apply – trails alongside already knowing the scent one is trying to pinpoint will make smelling easier. Can be used in area analysis, but Super Scent's strong suit is in the pinpointing, tracking, and scanning of objects and small areas.

Weaknesses: Due to the high amount of nerve endings needed to allow Super Scent to function, Carlos' snout is a sensitive organ in every sense of the word. If exposed to an extreme amount of unidentified scents, Carlos' mind is at risk of either hay-wiring, or at best, being dazed. Similarly, if punched in the snout he won't appreciate it whatsoever, and can be momentarily knocked out with a strong enough blow.

  • [roleplay=orange]"Gotta fiiiiiind your style, baby!~☆"[/roleplay]

Carlos Canabela – that dynamic and distinguishable dog-man. He lives his life with such a raw energy and passion that it's hard not to root for him – even if he can be a goofy idiot at times. Passionate, absentminded, and free-spirited in everything he does, Carlos is capable of a wide array of goofy antics, some less idiotic than others. Has a hard time focusing in his school work, but his efforts to change this are commendable. Among his many hobbies including craftsmanship, fighting games, and most important of all, Dancing. Prone to break into dance at any moment, Carlos' own personal style of dance draws from the international library of dance, his skill so immense that he's capable of breaking into 'Dancewalking', which is exactly what it sounds like.

In his demeanor one sees nothing of his soul crushing past – and that's a deliberate choice. Carlos sees two types of people in this world – those who are defeated by their troubles – and those who become something more because of them. Carlos made his choice, and he wants to live life to the fullest. Nothing will stop him in this endeavor. He enjoys helping a friend, and will always be there for someone in need.

But the signs of his past are not entirely erased. His home city was an ecosystem of both the best and worst of humanity; he's seen things that most people in civilized society will never see, and this has given him a particular insight that most don't have. As such he can be surprisingly and sympathetic to others, but has no patience for what he sees as cruelty. It's hard to tell when his mood fouls, but one can usually see its signs. His jokes become more jaded, his smile widens, and his eyes narrow, picking apart everything they see, including you.

The Force Hero

Name:
Ayesha Nishinoya

Age:
16

Gender:
Female

Ethnicity:
American

Quirk:
Coiled Spring

Ayesha's quirk allows her to quickly release immense amounts of kinetic energy by tensing her body and then releasing the built up stress in a giant burst. She can jump great heights, or send a baseball flying with relative ease. Due to the nature of her quirk, often times people mistake it for a simple strength quirk, but Ayesha is actually not very strong. She has a hard time simply lifting heavy objects, but she can send them flying as if they were fired from a canon. In combat she uses her quirk to make sudden leaps, send villains flying with a "Coiled Punch," or launch objects at speeds close to that of a bullet fired from a gun.

Furthermore, just like a spring, by relaxing her body, she can dampen the effects of a sudden impact. The cause of her quirk stems from her muscles. Her muscles are more like springs. When tensed, they store immense amounts of potential energy that she then can release in a devastating burst.

But her quirk definitely has limitations. As mentioned before, her quirk is NOT a strength quirk. Anything she does must be done in sudden bursts, and therefore, she won't always win in the department of endurance. Furthermore, her quirk isn't well suited for rescue, since everything is quick and sudden, it could easily make a situation worse.

In the physical department, overuse of her quirk can severely hurt her. Due to the tension and stress her muscles undergo, she needs to be careful not to overexert herself. If she pushes too far she is prone to a pulled muscle at best, and permanent muscle damage at worse. While she can dampen sudden impacts, it really only works with larger objects. (Baseball bat Vs. Nail Board)

Costume:

Ayesha's costume is more than just a skimpy outfit. There was actually a reason for her to design it that way. She designed it after track and field outfits. Given the nature of her quirk, mobility and freedom of movement is a must, so she designed it like a track and field outfit. Save the heels. The heels can be annoying, but she's practiced enough.

Equipment

Ayesha's outfit utilizes her high-heels a lot. Thanks to the tremendous amount of force she can produce when jumping, the heels can actually penetrate metals. Furthermore, they are designed to actually release from her feet should she activate them. This is helpful in two situations: As a failsafe, in case a jump embeds her heels too deep into a surface, so she can't get out, and as a weapon, letting loose a mighty kick that can send her heels flying into the face of an unsuspecting villain.

Background:

Ayesha's father was Japanese, but her mother was an American city woman. Her father was on a business trip to New York city, and that's where he met Kiana. As time went on, he remained in America for a several years, serving as a provider for his company in the Americas. During this time, him and Kiana got married and had Ayesha. Now Ayesha was always a tense and hyper child. It was absolutely exhausting for the two parents to take care of her. Kiana could always jump a bit higher than average, but it was nothing spectacular in the field of quirks, and her father was telekinetic. So how was Ayesha quite literally bouncing off the walls at only 8 months!

It was an exhausting and exhilarating first few years for the new family, but by the time Ayesha was 3 she had learned that her quirk was not to be used inside the house. In school, she used to always getting in trouble during sports for using her quirk. It felt dumb to her. Why couldn't she give it her all, and play at her best? After a while though, she started calming down a bit, and played baseball for her school as pitcher., but she always had too much energy, so she participated in activities outside the schools established programs.

Freerunning was her hobby of choice. Given the nature of her quirk, and the city she lived in, this was something she was made for (and the fact that her favorite hero, Urban Ranger, was also an avid fan didn't help). So was getting in trouble apparently, as freerunning isn't exactly appreciated by authorities. She would often get found out, and make a run for it. Occasionally she would get caught. Her parents were disappointed to say the least. But after all the scoldings and lectures, they still loved to spoil their daughter.

One day, her father received a call from his company. Ayesha didn't care too much for the details, but apparently he was going to get a promotion. Unfortunately, this meant leaving the city behind. Ayesha was 15 at the time. She had made lots of friends freerunning and she loved the layout of New York for it. She didn't want to leave. After a big argument with her father, (the first argument they ever really had) she ran off into the city. She hopped from building to building, crying, trying to release her frustration. In her frustration, she failed to see the commotion happening down below. There were police surrounding the outside of the building, and people gathering from all other standing in horror.

A villain by the name of Minotaur was tearing breaking the foundation of the bank. As Ayesha made another jump, the ground suddenly gave way beneath her. She started falling with rubble. Even with her quirk, rocks like this could kill her. But before she hit the ground, someone had come to her rescue. He was dressed in what looked to be RPG adventuring clothes. She had seen him before. This was her idle Urban Ranger. After he got her somewhere safe, Urban Ranger took on Minotaur.

After a long fight, Minotaur had Urban Ranger pinned. He was going to die if she did nothing! Her legs were shaky, and her arms were weak. Picking up some of the rubble, she chucked it at her kinetic max. She was under so much duress that releasing that much energy sent the rock flying. It slammed into the muscular, leathery hide of the man-beast. It sent him flying outside the building. Ayesha starred in disbelief. Had she done it?... Did she just take out a villain!?

RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

A beastial roar echoed throughout the city, as Minotaur rushed her in a fit of rage. She wanted to jump out of the way, but her body wouldn't let her. She was in serious pain too. That throw must have been too much. She braced herself for the impact, but instead looked up to see Minotaur fall face first into the ground, as bolos wrapped themselves around his legs. Urban Ranger wasted no time to land the KO punch, and detaining the raging behemoth.

Ayesha was in disbelief. And serious pain. But it was all made better by what Urban Ranger said to her. "Good job kid. You would make an excellent ranger." She blushed. How did she find this dork cool? I mean, he's dressed like an elf from a fricking video game! He even has fake ears! But... He still saved her life. He carried her outside where her mother and father were waiting anxiously. As soon as her mother saw that her daughter was safe, she ran right across police lines and grabbed hold of her. Her father was not long after. She looked at her father and agreed to go to Japan.

"On one condition. I enroll at UA."

Personality:

Ayesha is a bit of a brat. She often times will pout when things don't go her way, and try her best to get what she wants (though in sports she is willing to give a little for the good of the team and by extension her victory). She will resort to begging, bargaining, etc. She is active, energetic, and outgoing, always ready to be the first one to strike up a conversation. She is too competitive for her own good, and absolutely hates losing. Things are no fun if she can't keep playing. She is also bouncing, or humming even if she doesn't know it, as it's a side-effect of always having too much energy.

But she is a good person, if you look past the brattiness and her tendency to take a lose hard. She does want to help people out (if she was good at school she'd likely be an excellent tutor). She is courageous and never gives up. While she does want to be a hero because heroes are cool, heroes are cool because they help people. Oh that and kick bad-guy ass.

Talents:
-Even without her quirk's help, Ayesha is a great softball pitcher
-Ayesha can touch her elbow with her tongue
-Ayesha is really really good at fighting games
-Due to her time in team sports, Ayesha is a surprisingly good team player

Weaknesses:
-Ayesha gets flustered real easily if things don't go as she expected.
-She doesn't apply herself in academic studies as much as she should
-Ayesha is Lactose Intolerant

Opinions:
Bai Xiao - Ayesha is particularly fond of Bai. First of all, she speaks English really well, which Ayesha can happily relate with. On top of that, Bai loves adventure and doing stupid stuff, like the things that her friends back in NY did. Though Ayesha is a little put off by the submissive persona that arises when the teachers are nearby.

Suzu Fuchizaki - That big arrogant jerkface. Ayesha loves to hate Suzu and his stupid pretty arrogant face. So far he feeds the competitive nature inside her, and she wants to beat it and shove it into his face. His handsome, pretty face. Stupid dumb jerkface.

Shouya Azuha - Ayesha really doesn't understand this guy at all. One moment he's holding out a conversation completely straight-faced, the next he's smirking in a fight. She wonders if he has two personalities. One for each quirk.

Matsuda Yuzuki - Matsuda intimidates Ayesha. She's usually very reserved, which is fine sure, people are shy. But the scowling doesn't help at all. Ayesha always feels like she's rubbed Matsuda the wrong way. Oh Ayesha swears she only eats meat. That is so not normal!

Carlos Canabela - Carlos is a great guy. Ayesha is alway willing to dance alongside him, given the constant amount of energy that needs an outlet. No doubt, she plans to keep him in her company as much as possible.

Matsuoka Momoko - Momo-chan is adorable. Not only is she cute, she is too pure for this world. Ayesha wants to know her better. Also she needs her brains.

Takumi Souta - He's a nice guy. However, occasionally he just says that one really out of place thing that makes her think "Really dude?"

Kurumi Steinmann - On the day of the Exam Ayesha made the mistake of asking about her machines. Ever since she's been avoiding talking to her hoping she doesn't wish to continue where they left off. Ayesha's not an idiot, but circuits and fission reactors are a bit above her pay-grade.

Yano Eishi - He's nice. But that kindness makes it hurt a little, because everytime he uses his quirk to help someone he hurts himself, and Ayesha can't handle that sort of pressure because then it feels like that when she gets hurt she's hurting him and he's too sweet to be hurt, and why am I crying?

Mezame Nemuke - If she wasn't so sleepy all the time Ayesha could have some fun with her. She plays games, though a lot more than she does. Ayesha likes to shoryuken her friends. Mezame likes to adventure with them. Games are fun and all, but there is plenty of fun outside.

Kamimasu Ryoku - Ryoku is funny. Very funny. He's also rude, crude, somewhat unattentive and uninterested. But he's funny. So there's that. Oh also, Ayesha is confused as to how he scores notably higher than her on tests.

Renji Mizukomaru - Renji is just... Boring. Too busy wrapped up in his music to bother, and even if she did, he's so perfectly at the top of the bell curve it's
almost interesting. Though she will admit, he's definitely has his moments on a good day.

{slide=B A S I C S|center}
Full Name: Matsuoka Momoko

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Ethnicity: Japanese

Hero Name: Banshee

Quirk: Sonic scream. Her quirk allows her to increase the volume of her voice, giving her the ability to create loud high pitched sounds capable of harming enemies' auditory systems and causing physical vibrations. She could overwhelm listeners with deafening noise and stun them with high focus low frequency

For now, she can use her sonic scream to jump higher than usual but with proper training, she would be able to fly at the speed of sound.

Quirk Weakness: Sound/sonic waves can be reflected off certain objects, like mirrors and can be rendered utterly useless when the user is gagged by any means. Her quirk may not work against sound Immunity or sound Nullification and may cause unintentional harm to distant targets, including beings with sensitive/enhanced/superhuman hearing.

If she uses her quirk too much, she'll have a sore throat.

Equipment: Headphones to prevent her ears from bleeding as well as a collar that helps her amplify her voice.

Costume: [spoili][imga]https://s1.zerochan.net/Megurine.Luka.600.612960.jpg[/imga][/spoili]

Personality: Momoko is a shy teen with a gentle heart. Kind and caring, she's soft-spoken and polite and doesn't like to be confrontational. She is eager for knowledge and fond of reading in order to learn. She is a nurturing sort of person, always looking out for others and willing to assist them in any way that she can.

Despite being a usually happy person on the outside, she tends to keep her true feelings bottled up. She also tends to easily get down on herself and negatively compare herself to others. She also doesn't fare well under pressure causing her to easily panic. She's also rather cautious, preferring to choose her words and actions carefully to avoid unwanted consequences and attention.

Also, she doesn't like hurting other people causing her to use her quirk only when it is required or needed.

Talents: good at baking, excellent at playing stringed instruments, eidetic memory

Weaknesses: lack of stamina, not that courageous, hesitant, bad at hand combat

    Hero Name: Tendril

    Keratin Manipulation

Takagi is capable of manipulating Keratin which is the structural protein that make up the nails, hair, surface of the skin, scales, horns, hooves and claws of animals. With this quirk, Takagi is capable of manipulating her hair in a prehensile manner or strengthening it, shortening or elongating it as well, ergo the epithet "Tendril". She is as well capable of strengthening or sharpening her nails to act as claws and adjust the durability of the stratum corneum, or outer layer of the skin, to enhance her defensive abilities.

Takagi's ability is rather effortless to use, aside from the case of actually hardening or sharpening anything. Manipulating her hair takes very little energy and concentration. However hardening her skin, growing her nails to claws or heightening the durability of her skin typically require time and if not that, then massive amounts of pain due to the sudden changes of her body's properties. Furthermore, the quirk's maximum effectiveness lies in close-range, meaning bouts of ranged assaults will be difficult for her to counter in most cases.

  • [roleplay=darkmagenta]"Hoho... Come now, I won't bite... much."[/roleplay]

At first glance, an arrogant, smart-assed villain to-be. At a closer look—still arrogant, still smart-assed, but perhaps not quite as evil or cruel as she might come off as immediately. The unfortunate truth is that Takagi is extremely unlikely to get along with others of her class, simply due to the difference of upbringing. Others grew up with some form of love or care around them whereas she didn't experience such affections until later in her life. However, she is likely to give someone credit when credit is due and is outspoken enough to stand up for others, even if she goes out of her way to justify her actions so as to not seem selfless.

Amusingly, she can be somewhat awkward when the aura of dominance drops, having been essentially "home-schooled" all her life and her personality does a complete 180 when it comes to animals. She also seems to not be much of a fan of horror movies, or perhaps particular entities found in such media.

Outwardly, she's very rough and thorny. Inwardly, she's more weak and scared than she is likely to ever let on. A part of her wants to be a hero that her guardian will be proud of, but instincts from her early life keep her heavily guarded.

Reactions: Detective Zero
[fieldbox= Maria Amanar, #4da6ff, solid]

Full Name: Maria Amanar
Age:16
Gender: Female
Ethnicity: Romanian
Height: 158cm (5'2")
Build: Petite
Hero Name: Marionette
Quirk:

Grimoire of the Puppet Master

Maria developed the strange quirk of gaining a blank book at an early age, even if burned, taken away or torn apart, the book would always return. In addition a set of wires, though not solid seemed to run from her body to this book and would run from her fingertips. With trail and error two things were discovered with the Quirk.

One, it could be used to control items she had constructed, to what effect depended on the complexity and concentration used.

Two, the book was more of a storage or processing unit for the Quirk than the Quirk it's self. In principle the Grimoire could store none organic objects, later summoning them for controlled use by the wires. Though specifically it has been shown that the item must be constructed by her, and dolls which are physically close to her in appearance were the most effective, if not only item that could be easily controlled.

In effect, the Quirk used the wires and book in combination and worked best on simple toys or dolls, with Maria being able to store them within the Grimoire and then being able to summon and control them.

Currently as it stands, the size of the dolls and numbers dictates the numbers which can be controlled, given a conscious link to the dolls Maria can so far only use those which relate to her.

Being made of Wood and Ceramic plates the dolls are surprisingly resilient to gunfire and seem to get their physical strength from the controller and wires. Typically armed with an assortment of melee weapons the dolls seemed to be oriented on a class of usage, though axes and lances seem the most common. Physical impacts seem to be more useful on the dolls but they still have some durability when compared to flesh. The Grimoire seems to have "storage rules" as well, with her current ability Maria can, with focus and being immobile control up to Five smaller dolls or two human sized dolls, her pages can store equal number of spares for a total of ten and four, respectively.

The Reach of the dolls seems to be 30 feet from the woman, though the dolls can seemingly act in a line, allowing a limited directional spread, though she must stay within eyesight of them, for up to 300 feet. The dolls can behave seemingly life like, being used for chores or making tea. Some of the smaller dolls seem to carry gunpowder within them and can self destruct. The dolls seem to be capable of faster movement speeds than one would expect, even if mostly made of wood, they are not to be taken lightly.

Quirk Weakness: While Maria is able to control dolls to great effect with this, it seems that the rules are for only dolls or metallic weaponry she has made, if this is because of a psychological influence or a hidden genetic trait remains unknown. Relying primarily on her dolls or inventiveness, Maria has no notable physical boosts asides from surprising upper body strength, typically in her hands and grip. While the Grimoire seems to be more of an extension of the power, or perhaps an outlet to it, Maria has shown the power can control and store much more than she currently is able. Given the book can be destroyed and seems to only briefly delay her, the book is likely a reflection of the wires with the storage space likely being tied to the wires, which may be able to breakdown and form matter into data, though with some "strings attached" pun aside.

Because of this the dolls are the main combat strength and require her full concentration, while not living beings and thus impervious to pain or weather, their owner is not. And while durable the materials, or even rare bits of armor, do not make the dolls immortal. With her current level of control, once all stored dolls are destroyed, replacements must be built by hand, which takes time and effort on the part of Maria. Putting her love into the dolls they are not cheaply mass produced by a factory machine.

Also while their may be no way to disrupt the wires, equally the wires are unable to interfere with the physical world. In theory while she could just put the weapons or even sticks under her wires command, she has states that "if it's too simple control is clumsy, if it's too advanced then more effort is needed." As a result be it related to the power or her means of control her dolls and their weapons are both her offense and defense.

While more dolls boost her attack and defense potential they also demand greater attention and focus, leaving her a sitting duck in most cases, or if a battle demands quick and coordinated movements even smaller numbers can do this, but typically with smaller numbers she can move about assisting her dolls, also while possible, battle conditions typically do not allow for the retrieval or repair of damaged dolls. In addition while the smaller ones seemingly can be moved into a semi airmobile state the larger ones operate on the ground.

In addition it should be noted that while she can "feel" the movements of the dolls, the dolls cannot see for her. Though regardless of size they seem able to swing melee weapons with full force.

Equipment:
Minus the dolls she stores within her quirk, Maria seems to only carry odds and ins, such as a sewing kit, hobby knife and water flask with a few packets of dried fruit slices or edible seeds and nuts.

Personality:
A very observant young girl, who speaks in a prim and proper fashion, at times her speech has delays, as if searching for words or showing an unwillingness to say more than is needed. Overall she's one that highly sticks to Authority and the rules, provided such rules are not morally wrong. Always a correct acting girl who respects her superiors and elders, one could say she is a bit of a teachers pet, or a lap dog for the powers that be.

Maria believes that the purpose of heroes is to preserve stability, to defend the weak and to promote a higher ideal to the citizenry in morality. Because of this Maria believes highly in living by example and generally does not tolerate or approve of disruptions to this. Not thinking twice in reporting to higher authorities or in taking disciplinary actions of her own the girl fittingly wears Army style high boots. Maria is of strong opinions and speaks openly, but given she doesn't much care to talk with others and her hobbies, she can come across as standoffish or creepy.

Typically she is kind however and will help a person within her ability. Largely emotionless with very fair skin, it can be easy to mistake her for one of her dolls, she seems to prefer the company of her dolls more than most people, though she had been known to make dolls for people she is close to, mostly of themselves. Believes in being as self sufficient as possible. Relations with her family seem to be estranged, though she remains grateful to them and harbors no grudges about being seemingly forgotten.

Backstory:
Maria is the youngest Daughter of the former Chief Ambassador of Romania to Japan, Dragos Amanar and his wife Narcisa Amanar. Born during the Ambassador's stay, Maria carries duel citizenship with Japan and Romania and has learned both languages as well as limited English over the course of her childhood. Having a professional tutor and attending a private school for the Children of Diplomats, the Amanar household was fairly strict, holding on to old nobility ideals and even a family crest.

Taking a liking to Law and Order and the heroes of Japan, the young girl always strived to live to that public symbol, though her quirk made making and keeping friends difficult. While it took much time to figure what her quirk was, the general build up to it was seen as disappointing by her family, who in place focused their attention on their older children and younger brother. While relations between them were civil, Maria was often left to her own devices with money given to pay for her hobbies. In time she decided to stay on in Japan when her family went to Romania, technically under the care of an older sister Luiza, who works in a trade office with Romania's chief oil conglomerates. In practice the young girl more or less lived and studied in dorms in the Tokyo Region, seeing her sister once a week or month in some cases, for the last couple of years.

Coming to the attention of observers, who went to the Dorm she lived in, they were fairly impressed with the level of control the girl currently had. Giving her a recommendation and quietly discouraging her original intention of joining the Police she was originally going to train and study in the north, though an eventful situation had switched her to the main campus it's self.

Talents:

Expert Craftsman:
Needing to improve her quirk the young girl has developed a surprising assortment of skills, from ceramic molding, wood working, blacksmithing, shoemaking and sewing. Either way Maria has a surprising amount of skill on this front and prefers to make her own clothes, buying the best of materials and old fashioned. As a result she could make toys or other hand crafted items.

Tea making: Rather enjoys a good and proper cup of tea in the European fashion, typically making sweet biscuits or cake with it, she'll often have her dolls carry out the act while she sits about.

Diplomatic: Used to a rather political life and arrangements, Maria fits into high society dealings fairly easily and behaves like a Lady, knowing traditional dance and manners.

Chemist: In order to properly make materials for her dolls or melee weapons, Maria has a rough understanding of chemical mixing and has been observed making gunpowder in quantity, but provided she has a recipe or knowledge passed on, medications or remedies would be possible for her to make.

Weaknesses:

Immobile Combatant: Relies heavily on her quirk for combat, while she is able to fight desperately with her wood carving knife she isn't used to mixing it up in combat herself. Her dolls are her weapons and as a result her power.

Inflexible thinking: Turning against the authority or overlooking a violation is just something she cannot do, her life view is also set in stone. Getting her to see things in Grey, rather than Black and White may take some doing. As a result her loyalties may be torn between allies and official duties.

Tunnel Vision: While useful in controlling her dolls or crafting, Maria tends to miss the bigger picture if caught up in the moment and can come across as cold when in her workshop, using her dolls to interact with others rather than giving more than one word responses herself. While not a major issue it is common for her to lose track of time once she's began work or studying.

Relationships/opinions:

Bai Xiao: "A girl from China, aristocratic maybe. Good English Speaker, perhaps she likes Tea?"

Suzu Fuchizaki: "His reasoning to serve are strange.. But I guess that is alright, as fiery as a demon.. his quirk suits him well. A very correct person, but a hot headed one.."

Shouya Azuha: "Very excitable with some desire to be number one, he should learn his place.. To serve the people is the calling of a hero, not fame or fortune.. If it is then there should be no heroes. A very crass and violent man."

Matsuda Yuzuki: "Is she one of those Japanese Ninja? Truly an interesting people...though I say that as if I do not live here in Japan. Her personality is very rigid, I expect friction of her with the rest, while an ideal, she must learn to speak with the others."

Carlos Canabela: "Oh..the boy with the face of a dog, or is it a dog with the body of a boy? He is very quarrelsome.. Dances often, maybe I can have my dolls perform with him for the practice. Other than that I think he'll be a source of disciplinary action.."

Ayesha Nishinoya: "Oh..the Jumper, I guess she's a good basketball player? A joke.. A friendly sort, but she also seems to enjoy competition."

Matsuoka Momoko: "A shy soft spoken girl, I wonder why she is here..or what powers she may conceal.. What is her reason?"

Takagi Sunemizuki: "Hmm lovely woman by most standards, however her eyes are a bit lifeless.. At the request of she who I replaced, maybe I will try being friends with her. Just by looking at her I feel as if her power is a very violent one.. Is she troubled?"

Eishi Yano: "A two faced man, he reminds me of many a business man, false manners and false smiles, though he is joyful and forgiving. I do not think he will be a source of trouble..least not directly."

Mezame Nemuke: "Such an uncouth girl, ill tempered and lacking discipline. I'm surprised she gets out of the bed most mornings.. Though with her quirk, it's understandable, maybe I should make her some tea in the mornings."

Kamimasu Ryoku: "Oh, him, a curious case. He seems to flip with his opinions on others, his power is somewhat disgusting... it would be horrifying having that hand stuck in your hair..wonder how many misshapes he's had.. Truly disgusting."

Renki Mizukomaru: "A normal fellow... Or so I would like to say. He is clearly uncomfortable around others.. Or maybe only with women? I cannot say, well maybe he'll find my civility refreshing, otherwise who can say? "

Costume: An old fashioned European Dress with gloves, under pants and combat boots. The full coverage is mostly to help protect her from harm during her immobile periods of control.

Additional Note: Dolls seem to all look like Maria, though clothing and weaponry can differ, the common theme of a dress is maintained, with the smaller ones wearing blue or black, the full sized dolls tend to look like her but in a black traditional maid garments.

Quirk:
Wide Asleep

Wide Asleep allows the user to make someone either wide awake or really drowsy by touching them with their right or left hand respectively. While the Wide Awake effect works almost instantly, the Drowsy effect can take up to a few minutes before the person actually falls asleep. The Wide Awake effect is beneficial to herself and allies in that it grants increased energy and awareness.

Quirk Weakness:
Nemu's quirk can't be controlled at will — it's simply always active. As a result, touching herself or others will always have some sort of effect. It's especially troublesome when she's trying to sleep.

Equipment:
Nemu is almost always wearing pajamas where allowed, as the amount of skin they often cover helps prevent her from accidentally making herself wake up while sleeping, or drowsy while awake. Other than this, Nemu travels light, usually only carrying whatever the handheld of choice for that day is around with her.

Personality:
Whether she uses her right hand on herself or not, Nemu always seems to be tired. This is because of how often she wakes up throughout the night thanks to her quirk. As a result, she can be slow sometimes, and she's liable to snap over some of the silliest things, albeit unintentionally. Her mood knows a wide range, and if she's not getting angry at the amount of unicorns she sees running around the room, she's acting the part of a happy drunk that gets excited over spotting a loose penny.

Outside of her quirk's effect on her personality, Nemu is easily bored and prefers to find shortcuts when it comes to work. An avid gamer, she'll almost always be spotted playing something when she's not supposed to be working (and sometimes even when she is). While some may find it selfish, Nemu's biggest reason for wanting to become a hero is because it seems exciting. Having lived a life devoid of tragedy, she doesn't know of the dangers that actually go along with being a hero. It's not farfetched to say her views have been shaped by video games and media.

Backstory:
Mezame Nemuke grew up in an average house. Average can be used to describe having seven siblings, right? Two sisters and five brothers, there was always a lot of commotion in the house. With all of them being around the same age, competitiveness was only natural. Nemu wouldn't care for any of it if it weren't something to keep her busy. One upping her siblings was always a way to keep things exciting.

By pure luck, her quirk only helped put her above the others. While the rest of her siblings were only given one or the other, Nemu was lucky enough to inherit both her mother's Wide Awake quirk and her father's Drowse quirk. The parents made enough money with the use of their quirks to help others feel more or less awake to more than provide for their family, which allowed Nemu to enjoy the gaming lifestyle she does.

This wasn't to say she was a stranger to chores. No, it was quite the contrary. As one can imagine, families of 10 can be quite messy. Cleaning was the go to activity provided the children, as a distraction from constantly using their quirks on each other as a means of pranking each other. You can imagine the headache the parents went through on a daily basis.

Nemu's life growing up was boring. Do the chores, play the video games, and fawn over whatever latest hero had stopped a villain. These displays of heroism always fascinated her, and the excitement of it all was what inspired her to join UA. She knew she wouldn't be able to do it in her current state though.

In preparation for the entrance exam, Nemu made use of her Wide Awake effect to train her mind and her body. Her parents were proud of her endeavors, glad to see she wouldn't be wasting her life away as a mere addict. When the time for the entrance exam came, it pushed the young girl to her limits. She managed to pass though, if only in the last rank eligible for enrollment. Despite her rank, she was filled with more joy than disappointment, having had tons of fun and knowing there was plenty more excitement to be had.

Talents:
Nemu has beaten every video game she's ever played, and is easily capable of clearing many games of "Dark Souls" tier difficulty in record time. This also lends itself to incredible hand eye coordination. Thanks to her training for the entrance exam, she's also very agile and flexible while under the Wide Awake effect. She also possesses great foresight and analytical skills, being of above average intelligence.

Weaknesses:
Her quirk isn't very effective in actual combat, so her go to method of approaching things is to put them to sleep first and ask questions later. When not in the Wide Awake effect, she often has a hard time focusing, and her mental processing is a bit slow. She's also not all that physically strong either, relying more on evasive maneuvers than delivering knockout punches. Her attitude as a result of often being tired also sometimes inhibits her ability to make friends, as it's hard to tell if the girl is actually angry or just really tired.

Opinions of Other Students:

Xiao Bai:
"Noisy one second, not noisy the next. I'd rather she make up her mind than play this back and forth game. I prefer RPGs."

Suzu Fuchizaki:
"Eh, quiet enough, but he's a bit too holier than thou sometimes."

Shouya Azuha:
"He tried to talk to me once. Wasn't painful, but I think I scared him off..."

Yuzuki Matsuda:
"Quiet. Almost too quiet. I can't tell if she even feels."

Carlos Canabela:
"Oh god..."

Ayesha Nishinoya:
"Does she ever shut up? Whine, whine, whine. Just makes me wanna sleep..."

Momoko Matsuoka:
"A quiet person that only speaks when she has something to say. I like her. Until she uses her quirk."

Takumi Souta:
"Talked to him once, same as Azuha. Was painful."

Kurumi Steinmann:
"She's left me alone so far, though she does seem to try to catch the occasional peek at what I'm playing. Has she never seen a video game?"

Eishi Yano:
"A little too outgoing if you ask me, but he seems capable enough of catching a clue."

Ryoku Kamimasu:
"Pushy, if nothing else."

Costume:
Her costume is simply a pair of black pajamas speckled with skull designs. Nightcap included.

Quirk: Chewi-Arm

The owner of this Quirk is born without their left arm; instead, Chewi-Arm allows the owner to manifest a left arm that takes on the properties of whatever they're currently chewing. Essentially, the new arm takes on properties such as adhesiveness, elasticity, flexibility, hardness, density, etc at large. The arm remains until the owner stops chewing, at which time the arm's contents compress into amorphous gloop and plop off.

Currently, chewing multiple objects at once seems to produce a mostly useless and vestigial nub, perhaps an indication of mental overload resulting in quirk failure; nonetheless, there seems to be potential in being able to quick-swap chewed objects and thus the arm's properties, or perhaps even hybridizing them for the purposes of the quirk.

Weaknesses: The owner of Chewi-Arm must be constantly chewing in order to maintain the arm, which poses two difficulties; first, the owner's mouth is an effective target, as it may cause them to either spit out the object or become incapable of chewing; secondly, constant chewing is both distracting and surprisingly draining.

Furthermore, the constant chewing also typically causes degradation to the chewed item, which reflects in the condition of the manifested arm - as the item is continuously chewed, its properties may diminish (for example, in the case of, say, gum), and the diminished properties would reflect in the arm.

Equipment: For the purposes of his quirk, Ryoku constantly carries multiple packs of premium-brand chewing gum, assortments of mochi snacks, as well as small rubber toys that fit in the mouth.

Personality: Ryoku is, above all else, flippant, sometimes to the point of offensive. At ease in almost all but the most calamitous situations, he exhibits good humor and dispassionate nonchalance in settings where perhaps a degree of somberness is socially appropriate. He advises against taking life too seriously, and outright abhors those who take themselves too seriously; to that end, he has a firm dislike of the yearly crop of aspiring heroes who claim the title 'Future Number One Hero', but an even stronger dislike of the villains who play at theatrics and symbolism while cowering in the shadows.

While said flippancy perhaps consigns Ryoku to the 'underachiever's group', it should be clarified that, as laid-back and hero-dismissive though he might be, Ryoku is dutiful. He believes that those with more potential for Hero-work than any other productive occupation are duty-bound to pursue that end, and thus also has no time for people who run away from what he considers to be their 'calling'. It can thus be construed that Ryoku is a tad bit judgmental, perhaps at odds with his mantra of easy-going laughter, kindness and the occasional faux pas.

Otherwise, Ryoku's most notable trait is perhaps that he's a bit of a gamer, in the sense that he enjoys pushing his limits and reasonably high intelligence in mutual competition. He's far too non-committal to accept being someone's designated rival, but he likes to pit himself against others for his own amusement.

Talents:
  • due to the nature and demands of his quirk both in-action and in everyday life, Ryoku has trained himself to be more or less ambidextrous.
  • overall, exceptionally nimble and dexterous, even with his manifested arm.
  • an artiste of sorts, dabbling with some degree of skill in dance and poetry alike.
Weaknesses:
  • his slender figure lacks core strength, and Ryoku is often outmatched when it comes to brawn.
  • whether it be his non-committal nature, or his tendency towards tactlessness, Ryoku seldom functions particularly well in social or team settings.
  • fancies himself an 'instinctual hero', and counts on his cleverness to carry him in the moment - is diametrically opposed to the idea of planning ahead.
  • chewing gum that has lost its flavor makes Ryoku want to literally puke.

Backstory: Ryoku was born to a, shall we say, typical family. The kind of family considered well-off because mother was dutiful, and father was a diligent enough salaryman. The kind of family that was eminently unhappy in their adequacy. In a world of quirks, Ryoku's mother and father alike could both be considered as at least moderately gifted; mother could enter and emerge from reflective surfaces, while father's right arm could instinctively 'replay' what his left arm did at super-speed. While perhaps not quirks at the level of a top-ten hero, Ryoku wondered early on why they had never at least broached the idea of pro-hero work in their younger days.

After all, mother was bored, and father was outright depressed barreling through endless mountains of tedium to secure his next promotion. From a young age, Ryoku resolved never to be like them; he would find his calling, and he would not give his life in service to solemn, sterile work. Young as he was, Pro-Hero was perhaps the only option he ever thought of, and thus the only option that ever existed to him.

Perceived by mother and father alike as having a low-tier quirk, Ryoku nevertheless had the natural talent and resourcefulness to succeed in the Entrance Exam, securing his path into U.A.

Costume: A form-fitting bodysuit with the color scheme of a Marukawa Peach-Flavored Bubblegum packet (Teal with Peach markings and outline). Cut off at the left-arm, with a socket to allow the quirk to manifest.

Full Name: Renji Mizukomaru
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Ethnicity: Japanese - American born

Hero Name: Soundwave

"Just ride it out, the good vibes are coming."

Quirk: Sound Manipulation / Vibrations

- Able to control vibrations through parts of his body and - through his vocal cords, sound that is carried by said vibrations. Through sound by the vibrations he sends, he can listen in and send sounds from various levels to very far distances; For example, he could throw a minutely murmured phrase to someone thirty or so meters out and they'd hear it clear as day as if he was right next to them, or tune in to hear what they were saying. As well, through the use of his breath intake he can create waves of rebounding vibrations that amplify sound and affect what it hits. While similar to Banshee's Quirk in that sense, it is the vibrations themselves he manipulates rather than actual voice; vibrations that can even be affected by others, such as Banshee. Physically, he's no stronger than an ordinary teen athlete but through applying vibrations through his body, he can amplify effects drastically. By touch or by force, he can create vibrations of various levels upon contact. He can further amplify the strength of his physical vibrations through the echo use of his voice's vibrations, locking them inside his body and multiply to a degree that he can handle and transfer. To explain that, he can strengthen his vibrations input over and over by shouting for an example - all sound is transferred by vibration; Say he's holding a solid sphere of some material and he starts it at a steady hum that makes it visibly shutter. Putting focus on it, he would begin to make noise and the vibrations look to start multiplying, increasing. The sphere may start to crack and even shatter open from all the force starting to compress into it.

Quirk Weakness: Anything properly protected against the amount of vibrations or decibel of sound, the strength of such depends on his pace and intake of oxygen. Meaning if you interrupt his breathing when he's about to do something big, it'll shatter the momentum. Over-use of the quirk often leads to heavy headaches and dizziness, symptoms akin to a concussion perhaps.

Equipment: Always wears a headset over his head if he's actively listening and usually a sign he's using his quirk to at least a minor degree to hear others and to protect himself from most sounds while using his quirk. If it's off, he's taking a break and will be back to having bad hearing issues. If someone wants his attention they'll need to be talking to him prior or go and grab his attention.

Personality: Some would say he's relatively average with a mix of everything leaning on the reserved side; Kind and calm, he keeps to himself but doesn't find any issue in socializing if he had to. When he's in a good mood, he's quite active and outgoing to keep the beat up. A bit of a prude, or in the closet (What's the difference these days?), depending on the situation he probably wouldn't handle the opposite gender too well. The kind of guy that would tune in to some music and relax if he were down, rather than sulk around.

Backstory: He was raised in a family of heroes, but grew up like any other kid that was wanting to be a hero one day. His father had made a name for himself in the past before settling down to run a business where his mother continues in service of the people in hospitals. Born the younger sibling with an older sister, she steadily has made a name for the family in their parents stead. With the pressure of of it all bearing on him at a younger age, for years before now, Renji made a mistake that ended up causing him to nearly go completely deaf, thankfully avoiding injuring others due to his sister. While it still ate at him of the injuries he could have caused, it gave him a more serious drive to push harder, one that eventually would lead him to UAHS, upon a recommendation no less.

Talents:
- Great at cooking
- Athletic
- Believes himself to be a quick thinker, some might just call it impulse.

Weaknesses: If not prepared, high-frequency noises can throw him off and incapacitate him. Without his quirk, he has bad hearing from natural damage. Due to the stress that can be put on his body, his metabolism and everything that follows it is much higher than an ordinary humans; If he does not have a proper upkeep he can be rendered useless (Much like Blur in a way).

The creation assisted by a third-party in lieu to his father's connections, the suit is mostly a cosmetic, it does help him out in a light manner as his quirk doesn't do too much to defend himself immediately, but some parts namely in the arms and the headpieces have been altered to even assist Renji's quirk to amplify and focus the vibrations.

"Art requires a certain… cruelty."

Full Name: Asher Kingman
Age: 16
Gender:Male
Ethnicity: Russia

Hero Name: Jhin

Quirk: Soul Vengeance

with the souls with hatred and anger that Asher collected for retribution he has the power from the underworld he has the power to summons a destructible wall at target location that will block enemy movement. he can send a soul to scout out the path, revealing the area in front of it and he can also used the soul he place for a teleportation. he can places an invisible lotus trap that blooms when walked over. It slows nearby enemies before soul vengeance will spawn and lock it within their grip dealing damage with an explosion of serrated petals.

Curtain Call: he would summon a shoulder-mounted mega-cannon. It is able to fire 4 super shots at extreme range that pierce through his enemy's, but stop on the first champion impacted.

Quirk Weakness: his power's weakness are 'the light' when drowned closer to it the Soul vengeance will draw away and rub back inside Asher's body and not going to come out until the light is gone leaving him powerless and all he can use to defend himself is his guns and shoulder cannon. his lotus trap can be stopped if you throw a rock onto it causing the lotus trap to hide under the ground until it feels alright to spawn again

Equipment: (Any sort of equipment that aids you or your Quirk?)
this is his normal gun

and this is his shoulder-mounted mega-cannon.

Personality:
he didn't allow himself or others to consider how he or they felt. he didn't allow himself to think about why he reacted the way. he sit in a quiet room for five minutes and just exist. he didn't allow himself to feel much of anything. Even when he did feel something significant. He never talk to much to anyone nor get close to anyone. He prefers to eat alone nor read and walk alone.

Backstory: Asher Kingman moved to japan with his family that had just moved into a new neighborhood. His dad had gotten a promotion at work, and they thought it would be best to live in one of those "fancy" neighborhoods. Asher was born as a Half Russian and a half Japanese. He was also known as a joyful and a happy boy but everything went down when his mother died, everything was torn apart and his father started drinking and his brother stop going to school and started going to parties. His father also come home with another woman if they try to stop him they would get beaten until they pass out from the pain.

Asher kingman was lost to himself that his colors started to go pale. He was even bullied by the student around him and he never got any friends because the parents never want their child to get close to him in words saying that if he became friends with them he would be a bad influence to them when they find out about his family. everyone was walking away from him and no one ever get close to him. he became so lost so sad and lonely that he became numb.

He never talk to anyone nor even go to a psychiatrist. When he was send to the principal about why he acted that way Asher told him

"… Because when you don't allow yourself to really think about things or feel things, life is simpler. Because it allowed me to get through the day without breaking down. Because there were times when I was faced with difficult events or circumstances but I was able to shrug my shoulders, say "fuck it, " he said to him and walk out of the door without waiting for the principal's words

@Elusive Thorns We are currently full on players and not accepting anymore characters at the moment. I am sorry but I will not be accepting your character sheet.

Another thing is even if we were still accepting, your character is simple Jhin from League of Legends. I don't mind people taking ideas or using a character as inspiration, but blatantly copying abilities from the video game (some sort of copy paste I'm assuming since you still have the word champions in the ability). This character also doesn't even seem like it would fit as a Hero, or a student for this matter, which is the point of the RP.

RORSCHACH

Nanako, Enoki 16 Japanese

══════════════

[bg=#ffffff]

Personality: Laid-back, level-headed, and usually always the voice of reason, Enoki
is very calm and collected; usually able to still make logical decisions under considerable
pressure and time constraints. He is generally accredited of being lazy, and while it is true
to some extent, he accomplishes it in record time when inspiration or energy
strikes him; oftentimes being last minute.

Due to his prim and proper manner, Enoki isn't necessarily the first person that may come
to mind in terms of socializing, but he is very easy to talk to despite his quiet and introspective
tendencies. He rarely shows emotion, often valuing logic above it and can constantly be seen wearing
a stoic, deadpan facial expression. And although he knows how to exercise respect in the
emotions of others, he doesn't hesitate to express what are his opinions on a matter,
and his frank demeanor in expressing how he feels makes him cold and standoff-ish.

Appearance: Enoki has a firm, slightly-thin build that makes him stand up to exactly 6'0"
whilst weighing in at 205 lbs. Messy amber-brown hued hair with accentuating emerald eyes
that reflects all his emotions from joviality to contempt lies in contrast with his handsome

face (that he's loathe to admit) that betrays none of his inner thoughts. He usually prefers
comfort over making a fashion statement, so it really isn't a surprise when you see Enoki
in a t-shirt or hoodie jacket with shorts or pants when he's not in uniform.

History: Born to a family of strict yet fair disciplinarian parents, Enoki led a life one might
consider average in the society of power-wielding citizens.
Taught values both by a father
with a knack for architecture and a portrait-painting mother, the young boy not only lived
in an environment that encircled him in visual inspiration, but also gifted him the ability
and talent to manifest this inspiration into something real.

His quirk Inkarnation allowed him not only to draw, but to also see and touch for himself,
a blessed combination of his father's power to create a small three dimensional hologram
of what he drew as well as his mother's ability to draw accurately at a rapid pace. Often
Enoki would stay indoors along with two of his best friends Meiji and Chisuko to train,
experiment, and test the boundaries of his ability.
He did not use his quirk to harness
popularity like all of his other classmates at school, nor did he apply it to malicious intent.
Enoki perceived it as a means for his simple hobby of drawing to take root.

A night came to pass in Enoki's childhood, a deed that seemingly only happens in the
comics he reads suddenly rearing in real life as he was pitted in the situation that would
mean his friend Chisuko's life on the line; a situation he failed to stabilize as Enoki simply
remained locked in guilt of an opportunity to save her that he let past his fingers.

Through constant comforting from Meiji as well as the reassurance of both his and
Chisuko's parents that Enoki did nothing wrong,
the boy made a promise as Chisuko's
coffin was lowered to the ground with the determination and steel of maturity and passion
way beyond his years that never again will he let cowardice nor any emotion stand between
him and saving anyone again.
With both his father and mother's encouragement and support,
Enoki didn't see his quirk as a tool anymore, but as a means to an end as he vowed that no

one will have the same fate as Chisuko did; at least not on his watch.

Masking his emotional turmoil with the staunch iron of promise, Enoki now makes his
way towards the path of forgiveness not only for his fallen best friend, but for himself,

starting with U.A High School.

Quirk: Inkarnation | Ability to give sentience or physical manifestions to/of Enoki's drawings.
This starts of very simple, however, and the drawings will only have the ability to arise from
the actual surface it was drawn on with the original texture of the surface the drawing was
made. This siphons directly to his stamina, draining it equally for the duration of time the
drawing is currently "living" or present in reality as a tangible object.

Eventually, this will later be refined to imbue personality and even the capability to speak.
If mastered, he may be able to transfer the drawing into an actual physical entity in real
life. He only has the ability to give only one drawing sentience, however, though this is
subjective depending on the course of the quirk's development.

Drawbacks: The outline of the drawing must be very clear upon the surface or else the quirk
might fail to work, usually black paint or ink will do but chalk or markers will do

as long as the outline is clear. Enoki also cannot fully create objects from his quirk as well
and still use its intended function if the surface is not ideal considering that the surface
it was drawn on will be the main substance of the drawing itself.

An example would be a parachute drawn on oak planks. The parachute itself would be

usable but won't help in decelerating falls because the parachute's made of wood. Enoki
has to draw it on a piece of cloth instead.

Strengths: Strategist | Enoki has a way of gaining information and/or supplying means to
an end with finesse; applying various information to different scenarios, or subtly manipulating
the course of a conversation in order to steer clear of an unwanted situation or to gather data etc.

Indifference | Always seeking a peaceful way to solve things, Enoki is able to see a problem
in different perspectives and solve it neatly without bias nor need for it to end in physical affronts
with an open mind and a clever tongue.

Eye of the Hurricane | Enoki is in a perpetual state of constant calm and analysis, typically
already trying to figure out various ways to get out of a scrape or finish a task while still being
unruffled even in situations that might constitute danger.

Weakness: Slow | Although not slow in a conventional//literal sense, Enoki's deliberate strategy
of putting things off until the last minute is usually what drags him down in the long run.

Sharp Tongue | Enoki may have respect for other people's emotions, but he will not hesitate
to give his grain of salt if asked, even if it may hurt anyone's feelings. This often leads him into
situations where he bit more than he could chew but he would still chew it out of stubbornness.

Eye of the Hurricane | If someone strikes a nerve raw enough for Enoki to drop all
pretenses of tranquility, he will act upon complete impulse and emotion, leading
him to make rookie mistakes or grievous decisions that he wouldn't otherwise
do in his usual state.

Equipment: Art supplies (i.e acrylic paint, calligraphy pens, ink, paper, brushes) He generally
keeps it in a leather satchel separate from his bag or directly in his uniform pockets both for
the convenience for his quirk as well as for when he's bored.

His hobby is drawing, what did you expect?

Opinions of Other Students: Soon.
