My Hero Academia IC

Surge Alloy.

Third Ranked Hero.

Lucien was familiar with him. No real familiarity, though -- not like the others. But he knew of him. He'd read, seen and even witnessed a few of the hero's exploits over the years. It was interesting to be in the presence of a hero, but it didn't surprise him. Simply reading up on U.A. made it quite clear that accomplished heroes would be overseeing their training. So he was pretty annoyed when some little... When one of his -classmates- stuttered out some dumbass question: 'Are we going to learn from you?' Remaining impassive was hard, but Lucien had developed a decent poker face from having to constantly appease his father and grandfather's egos over the years, so he was able to not outwardly react. But he wanted nothing more than to just glare at the kid and ask him if he had a hearing impediment, because Lucien was quite certain 'Surge Alloy' had said he'd be teaching them.

And then there was another question and Lucien committed to zoning out. He knew he had poor - exceedingly poor - social skills, but everything felt especially unbearable at the moment. His eyes closed for a moment before opening when he heard another voice; a woman, older - a hint of experience in the way she spoke. Nimbus - Sixth Ranked Hero. Two top ten heroes? Now, that was actually unexpected. The first and foremost question in his mind was, simply: How many teachers were apart of the top ten, and luckily he didn't even have to ask it - someone else did for him. Which meant all he really had to do was listen and make his own mental notes. He didn't think it'd be long until they began to quirk and physical training, but he couldn't begrudge them for wanting to get straight to the point.

Regardless, Lucien kept his mouth shut. He saw no point in asking any questions, especially when everything he would have asked was already being questioned. Which meant all he really had to do was keep quiet and give the teacher's his attention. Even if he still had his music lightly playing in his ears.

Having her questions partly answered, most of the rest seemed to be very excited about the two pros in the room, the woman was close in some aspects to she and her mother, though both were a bit taller and thus... Well.. Letting those fights stay where they were, another had voiced an interesting question, the ice cream haired girl. Just how many of the top 10 where here? Not that Kanna cared overly much, if they were strong then that was good enough.

That was what she came here for, to be in better control of her own powers and to reach the same force as her parents. Helping others and the like however, well, that was par for the course. It was then however, as she got ready to ask as much as Charlotte had, yet another surprise had came out.

Misoka, or the Dullahan's Flame. Opening a hidden passage behind the blackboard, much as her teacher many years ago, Misoka had found most of the passages during her tenure in the school. Fortunately none of the tunnels seem to ran in with the dorms and if you didn't know where to press a door would not open, even some tunnels had hidden tunnels.

That aside, the woman had a spare head spawned with her lighting the way as she levitated her form in an almost crucifix form through the wall. Landing on her feet as the spare head flew around, it soon vanished into a wisp of blue fire, as Misoka stared out across the class, looking pointedly at Charlotte.

"A few. Given the nature of this class and a couple of the rest, we have a few of the top 10 on rotation. Dullahan's Flame, Rank Nine.. I'm part of your Combat training and Survival course teachers. And I'll directly be teaching the Social Skills course and Forestry/Agri-science - General studies."

With that, Kanna starts to wave, giving a light head bow, she speaks up. "So are all of you coming here oooorrrr? Also hi Auntie!"

"Kanna.. Here I am my hero name or Mrs Daichi... and not that I am aware of. I had came for those two.." She says, exchanging glances with the other two adults in the room.

"The Field has been made ready.. I'm sure mister Surge Alloy there is just surging with enthusiasm or electricity for what's next. Please make your way there in an order---Kanna!" "Don't worry it's only two or three floors!"

The Miko replies, surprisingly quick footed for her size, she was out the window in a flash, at least thankfully having opened it before her dive.

Looking on with a gruff expression, Misoka could only watch, detacthing her head point of fact, as she follows Kanna out the windown to the ground below, overlooking the field. While she was quick to get there, this was by no means orderly.. With her disembodied head looking on, she sighs. "Well she doesn't need gym clothes at least.. I'll see you all out there."

With that the rest should be making their way to the field, in their own, hopefully not jumping out of the window. Taking leap out the window as well, she would have to give Kanna a talking too.

Lucien was the second up, if you counted Kanna as the first, of course. Three top ten heroes were at U.A. -- that had to have been odd, no? He didn't really... Know. But was it really his concern? There was a lot pinballing around in his head. Thoughts and concerns that simply led to various options. The biggest issue was his own personal qualms with the entire situation. Just from having gleamed everyone's reactions and the familiarity some of them had, he knew he was the outlier. The chances of anyone else being like him was slim to none. He didn't want to be at U.A. and he didn't want to be a hero. But his entire existence hinged on this one thing. Becoming a hero like his grandfather and doing right by the family name. But what did any of that actually amount to? And now that he was free - properly away from them and their influences - why should he even subject himself to any of this?

Apathy? Perhaps. It certainly wasn't like he had anything else planned for with his life. Because this was all he was supposed to care, think or dream about. However, all he was left with was a burning resentment. Perhaps it was justified, perhaps it was unfair. The lack of a proper outlet - the way everything welled up inside of him with every passing year he spent in a household that lacked any form of 'love' or 'care' - left him feeling strange. Angry. Bitter. Towards his peers who he didn't know; the ones who clearly wanted this, the ones who were enthused and enamored by it all. For a moment his gaze fell on Surge Alloy, the highest ranked hero present at the moment.

He was a good man. Lucien knew that, but it was like he was being suffocated by every hero that entered the room. Every hero he was told he had to surpass to placate his father and grandfather. He couldn't help but despise Surge Alloy. Not because he was a bad person, but because he was almost the embodiment of everything Lucien hated with the world. It was unfair. It was stupid. It was childish.

"I'll be heading to The Field as instructed by Mrs. Daichi, sir." Lucien finally spoke, his voice calm and not an ounce of the whirlwind of emotions he felt slipping through. He made eye contact with Surge Alloy, but his gaze held nothing. Just a minor apathy as he calmly pushed his seat back into place, giving the other hero-teacher, Nimbus, a respectful nod as he exited the classroom through the door - like a civilized - person and stepped to the side to avoid standing in front of it just in case anyone rushed out from excitement. Eyes closed, he took a deep breath as he did his best to maintain his composure. It was like dealing with his father and grandfather -- he could handle this.

Stepping forward, he remembered the layout of the school he had seen and quickly made his way out to The Field, a single hand in his pocket as he moved casually but with a clear haste.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Deadpanning, seemingly just as Charlotte had posed the question, Dulluhan's Flame had appeared. Masaru began to wonder if the whole list was here. Was the number one here? Hell, at this rate Grudge was going to climb through the window. Glancing over to it, it seemed that wasn't the case, thankfully. At least not yet.
Lowering his hand, though Mrs. Daichi hadn't revealed anything, they were apparently getting to work straight away. Kanna was first to head out as it seemed. Widening his eyes slightly, Masaru's stoic expression broke momentarily as Mrs. Daichi's exclaimed, his gaze moving to his side rather slow on the uptake. Suddenly, Kanna's seat was empty and he just barely caught a moving figure dive out the window with a statement that it wasn't that far down.
Blinking a moment, Masaru appeared taken by surprise. The girl was rather odd, and that was even with Charlotte in the room. Speaking of which, the multi-colored girl in question immediately pranced over to the window to look out it with a curious expression.
"Oh, elle a vécu," Charlotte mused aloud with a nonchalant tone befitting someone who just learned something.
Masaru let out a sigh at Charlotte's comment, getting the gist of what she said from his limited knowledge of French. Kanna was a bit weird, but why would she jump out the window if she'd die from it?
As one of the loners left, through the door this time, Masaru as well stood up and made his way out, hands shoved in his pockets. He noted Misoka jumping out the window, though he didn't bother pausing to gawk. She and Kanna seemed to know one another, and Masaru thought that maybe the weirdness shared between them
"Ma-kun. Everyone's going out the window. Want me to drop you?" Charlotte chimed with a cheerful expression.
"Pass. I'm taking the stairs," Masaru responded simply, choosing not to waste time on anymore nonsense.
"Boo..."
Pouting, Charlotte clasped her hands behind her back and made her way out as well, pausing to look at the rest of the class who had yet to depart, most of which had kept to themselves.
"Ne sois pas en retard!" She said, warning them not to be late before exiting the room, fully aware that very few, if any, could understand her.
~~~

Masaru had made his way to the locker room with haste, dressing quickly in the standard blue and white U.A. tracksuit. Zipping the jacket up all the way to the top, he made his way out to the field where he wasted little time in beginning to stretch. Charlotte appeared behind him, wearing the identical girl's version of the tracksuit, albeit the jacket unzipped towards the top, murmuring something or the other that caused Masaru to furrow his brows in annoyance.

Jojo....

Jojo couldn't move.

The familiar voice he had heard over the tv screen so many times... Was in the room... She was floating towards the front. Or was she walking? Jojo didn't know, it didn't matter, his haze was split in two like a bolt of lightning splitting the heavens.

There she was.

His favorite hero ever.

Nimbus herself!!!!!!!

He couldn't believe it.

This day... Was... The best...

The soft sound of a soon to be fainting ghost couldn't truly be heard over the words of the attention grabbing teachers, his head falling flat on the desk after becoming red as a beet. He practically looked like he died and went to heaven straight then and there, missing just about every word his hero said.

It was when Misoka came into the room, telling everyone to exit the room in orderly fashion, get changed into a gym track suit he slowly began to melt his way through into the floor below.

Slowly and ever so surely, like a wet sack of potatos, he began to droop through the desk, the seat, and into the floor.

"B-b-best day ever..." spike the young ghost before he finally hit the floor below, soon to recover and head out to get changed... In a few minutes...

OUTSIDE FIELD

Chitose and the rest of the teachers would make their way to the outside field as each student went to their assigned lockers. Inside their lockers would be a UA track uniform in their size, running shoes, and some basic hygienic products for afterward. Once all students had dressed out and were present on the field, Chitose did a headcount to ensure that no one had gotten lost or had wandered off.

She noticed that a few people seemed to be absent today, something she'd take a mental note of for later. Maybe she could punish that individuals with extra laps around the school or burpees until they vomit. For now, she would need to focus on the now instead of the future.

She turned the page of her clipboard and set it onto a mostly blank sheet with the names of all of Class 1A on separate charts.

These were going to be her note-taking space for today's extra fun assignment~

Chitose clapped her hands a few times to gain the class's attention.

"So happy to see that everyone didn't get lost~ So you're probably all wondering why we've brought you out here, and Surge Alloy will explain in just a bit. But first, I'd like you to meet the school's nurse!"

She gestured to a man dressed in civilian clothing and a white face mask. He was pale with platinum blonde hair and crimson red eyes. The man seemed completely uninterested but his eyes lingered over the students, quietly examining them.

"Hey. I'm Hisashi, Pro Hero Hisashi, and I kiss boo-boos." The man said plainly with a brief wave to the teenagers, "In case you're wondering, civilian clothing is my hero costume. A pure support hero shouldn't stand out unless they want to become a primary target. That's my advice, thanks for listening."

Chitose inwardly sighed. He couldn't have feigned energy even for a little bit?

She smiled at the group, "Yes, well, that's our school nurse for you! Straight to the point! Surge Alloy, if you would, please?" Chitose looked to her friend, silently asking him to explain the lesson.

Isamu, Airi, and Kaz
From the Train to the air to UA
Interactions/Mentions: N/A

What a day it had been already, and it had barely even started. Isamu slumped down in his seat on the commuter rail and grumbled to himself with a sigh. He had just moments ago been wished good luck by his parents, his grandfather even, and here he was, already having second thoughts. He was small, athletic enough to pass the exams, barely, but not the most incredible in terms of physicality in any way, unless one counted his uncanny eyesight and aim. If only he could learn more about his powers. Well, that's what he was going to school for. BUT DID HE HAVE TO AIM SO HIGH?! Sure he was ecstatic about even getting into UA, but how could he possibly live up to the expectations of his family. His teachers? HIMSELF?!

"Cheer up Isamu," a cheerful voice and a slap to his back pulled him from his worrying thoughts and back to reality. It sent a jolt running up and down his spine, his whole body seeming to shake from the impact.

"Ahhh, Airi... That hurt," he grumbled trying fruitlessly to reach back and rub the now sore spot. Alas, his arms were simply not long enough.

"It's fine," Airi said with a big grin, running her fingers through her hair. "Besides, it's only the first day. Even if you aren't up to snuff now, you'll get a whole lot better!" The girl was energy and optimism incarnate. Isamu would have been lying if he said he didn't admire that. Although, she could be a bit much at times. Sometimes he even wondered how they could be friends. Certainly they had similar quirks in theory, that had always been a plus as she tried to help him understand ways in which he could use his powers that he wouldn't have thought of otherwise, every if he still couldn't actually make the skills materialize as of yet. But looking back at how their friendship began, it was almost like an Airi had adopted a puppy she'd taken a liking to.

"I guess you're right..."

"Of course I'm right!" Airi cheering while delivering another hearty slap to the small boy's back.

"Gah! Ai-" before he could finish the statement the two felt the train jerk violently as though the break had suddenly been hit. Isamu flew forward, narrowly avoiding hitting someone as Airi grabbed him by the collar of his uniform. He struggled to breathe for a moment as she helped him regain his balance inhaling deeply once he was fine.

"The train stopped?" Airi looked around, her face more serious as she tried to see if there was anything suspicious. They were in the first car, so hopefully they would find something. But no, until at least the the conductor came barreling out of his booth. Airi immediately began to push through the crowd, dragging Isamu behind her by the hand. Her tailed was moving about excitedly.

"Airi, wait... we shouldn't..." Isamu struggled to try and stop her, but she was much stronger.

"But what if there's a villain in need of a quick beating?!" The girl had a grin on her face a mile wide as she glanced back at her friend.

"Wha-" Isamu paused, flabbergasted, "but we aren't heroes! We have to leave that stuff to the pros!"

"Psh... That's no fun." Airi said as they finally made it to the front, only to find the front of the train noticeably dented in, a battle already going on outside. It liked like a few sidekicks were having a bit of trouble with a tough looking villain. Already other passengers were beginning to draw

"Woah... Those sidekicks are..."

"Nova Master!" Somewhere from withing a bystander cheered much to the delight of many of the passengers, Airi and Isamu included.

The two jerked their heads to the right to see the hero appearing from the sky. Flames coated his fist as his sidekick's jumped out of the way to allow him to handle the situation. Immediately, his fist collided with the villain's face. Surprisingly, the villain didn't go down immediately. He managed to stay on his feet, even throwing a few well placed punches. Or at least, they would have been well placed if the Number 1 Hero hadn't managed to block and evade them. Then, he kicked the villain back into the front of the train. The dent deepened, this time the glass shattered.

"AND HE'S DOWN FOR THE COUNT!"

"Airi..."
"HELL YEAH!"
"Airi."
"DID YOU SEE THAT ISAMU?! IT WAS AMAZING! SO FAST!"
"AIRI!"
"WHAT?!"

"We're already really late to school."

"WHAT?! FUCK!" Airi immediately began to panic a bit before getting a good idea. Her faced beamed, the idea was taking form.

"Oh no... Airi... We really should stay inside. The authorities are already showing up. I'm sure we'll be down soon. There's no need to ruuuuuuu-" Isamu was quickly thrown off, his voice carrying and undulating as Airi empowered her hand just enough as she was capable of to force the door to the conductor's booth open pulling Isamu through and out the window as the villain was being pulled out by the sidekicks, accompanied by firefighters and police.

"NOVA MASTER!" Airi shouted at the top of her lungs to the hero giving a statement to the police. He didn't seem to hear at first, or perhaps was ignoring the call, until Airi cried out again, this time louder (if it was even possible). That got the hero's attention, as well as his sidekicks.

Quickly one came over to quiet them down and shoo them back into the train with the other civilians, but Kazuo Mizushima, Nova Master, stopped the young lady. "It's alright Spryte," he said with a chuckled having finished giving his statement. "Judging by your uniforms, I'm guessing you two might need a little help." Kaz smirked as he looked the two UA students up and down. More than likely, they were late because of this little incident, and though it wasn't his responsibility to help them, at least not with such a small issue, he had wanted an excuse to stop by his alma mater. He had been disappointed that he couldn't see his boy off on his first day after all. Besides, he'd hoped to have lunch soon anyway and what better excuse was there to spend time with one the most precious women in his life.

"So your gonna take us?!" Airi said excitedly, Isamu having given up his attempts at getting her to calm down. He just hoped they weren't in too much trouble when they arrived for being so late. They really had been on schedule to get there on time.

"Yeah, I've got a little time," Kaz turned to direct his sidekicks before placing a hand on the shoulder of the young female sidekick who'd attempted to shoo Airi and Isamu away just a moment ago. "Spryte, you'll be in charge until I return. If there are any major issues, give me a call." He said before hoisting both Airi and Isamu up. Airi was quick to huge Kaz and Isamu couldn't help but be a little worried by everything that was happening so fast. "Hold on tight kids."

"You don't have to tell me twice," Airi said happily as she braced herself while Isamu mumbled 'please don't fall' to himself over and over again.

Just like that, without another word, the three were off, soaring through the air. Of course, Nova master wasn't capable of flight, but his incredible leaps made a hell of a substitute. Sometimes he could use his flames for extended mid-air combat, but he didn't think it was necessary today. He moved from roof top to roof top until finally the school came into sight. Still, between Airi's cheers of glee, and Isamu shouts of terror (clearly not used to such things) he couldn't help but feel an air of nostalgia. These kids had no idea the hardships they would face. But with those hardships would come victories, friendships, maybe even more, that would last possibly a life time.

"Oops..." Kaz blurted out as he began his final descent.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN OOPS?!" Isamu shouted as loud as he could over the wind rushing by their faces.

"I meant to drop you by the gate, but it looks like I'm gonna land inside." Kaz answered with a small laugh. "Hopefully nobody minds a surprise visit," he mumbled, more referring to the faculty than the other students. He was sure at least one of them would have a few choice words to say about his interruption.

"THIS IS AWESOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOME!" Airi's voice carried out over the field, prompting a small chuckle from Kaz, as the trio came plummeting down not far from where the group of students and teacher's were. A small cloud of dust and dirt kicked up, shrouding the three brief. As Kaz put the two down, Airi began to walk out, showing no care for the mess that was no her hair. She might have fixed her uniform a bit too after the ride, but she was too busy cheering, jumping up and down. Isamu meanwhile stumbled out of the cloud coughing and waving his hand in front of his face, his feet still feeling a bit like jelly. He was just barely holding himself up.

And then there was Kaz, Nova Master, Japan's Number 1 Hero. He couldn't help but let out a laugh at the ensuing antics. "And here I thought my days of showing up late on the first day of school were over when I graduated," The man said as he waved off most of the dust himself. And just like that, the missing pieces of Class 1A were present an accounted for, along with a surprise guest.

@RedArmyShogun @Demon Shinobi @ generally everyone

All of the sudden, a girl's shadow began to ripple like some tar-like puddle. Then out from its murky depths, poked the head of another girl. One with a manic expression. Sitting in there happily, as if some demon that made shadows their home.

7t2KoY1.png

"WOOOOO! HELL FUCKIN' YEAH! FINALLY STARTING THE FUCKIN' YEAR! WOOOOO, 'BOUT TIME! CAN'T FUCKIN' WAIT!!" She roared, cursing up a storm with reckless abandon, bringing all the attention to her. This girl's complexion was familiar, yet seemed to possess more life, despite being pale as the moon. Was she even present before? Familiar, but obviously her appearance was unknown to those currently present. Her hair stood up, as if possessed by something, and her pupils were a bright glowing purple, with the white of her eyes unnaturally extended, giving her a bit of a 'totally certified' look.

"OOOHHHH SHHHIIIIT!!" she exclaimed loudly, coming up out of the shadow with now her entire chest exposed. "That'sss the freakin' number ONE. HERO. HOLY FUCKBALLSSS! That'ss frikkin awesome!!! SSHIIT, I KNEW THIS WOULD BE EPIC! JOINING UA WAS THE BESST DECISSION OF MY LIFE! FUUUU-WOOOO!"

Finally, she stepped completely out of the miko's shadow, fully dressed in the exercise uniform. (When had she even gotten in there?) The shadow rippling briefly as she left it, only to return to the normal hardly-there appearance of a regular shadow. Gray and lifeless.

"MR. NUMBER ONE HERO, YOU'RE TOTALLY BADASS! TELL.. mmmee.. how you got sso... sstrong.." In the next moment, her entire demeanor changed, that crazed look in her eyes gone, their color now paled. Her hair fell back down, pointed straight down at the ground, the color gone from it like her eyes, and like the totally pale-as-death face she now wore. The total metamorphosis that had come over the girl had no explanation that followed; it seemed she was totally fine to leave everyone confuzzled, standing there in the shadow of the school building, unmoving, untalkative, and totally without any of the crazed exuberance she had just shown. At least now she was recognizable, if she had even been noticed before. She also seemed to have lost all interest in the number one hero she was just shouting at, staring placidly ahead.

Leon not in the happiest place it shows on his face he then says"I'm sure there will be plenty of time when the teachers can answer all the questions, but till then can we please refocus because on the class". "I'm leon a teacher here and I will be assisting this class if you have some quick question about stuff after class I'll do my best to help".

Lucien wasn't certain how he felt about the track uniform; it wasn't bad by any means - the quality was nice and what he would except from U.A. - but he just didn't like it. Wasn't his style, he supposed. Regardless, he wouldn't complain about it. It was simple and would serve its purpose well. He stood off to the side, near the main group but slightly to the back -- just so he wouldn't be too close. Clearly present, but not close enough to draw anyone's attention to him. To that extent, he liked the uniform, actually. It got rid of individuality; he was just one of many like this. Sure the same could be said for the standard school uniform, but too many people - himself included - would undoubtedly put their only subtle, personal spins on them.

Ugh.

As Nimbus spoke, Lucien almost scowled when she introduced another pro-hero. The only thing that kept him from doing so was because of how average the man - Hisashi - seemed to be. Just the school nurse and he couldn't have sounded any less enthused, which was something Lucien could personally relate to and appreciate. Lucien wasn't particularly excited to be present, and it seemed like the nurse wasn't either. That was all fine and dandy, honestly, but everything quickly began to take a severe nosedive. The very first, and most immediate thing, was the arrival of Nova Master.

The number one hero.

Why was he here? He couldn't have been a teacher; Lucien couldn't accept that. He should have been far too important to the safety of Japan to be teaching children. But more so, if he didn't like Surge Alloy then his feelings about Nova Master was even worse. Bastion of Justice - hero. Lucien knew people would worship the ground the man walked on if given the chance. That was what his father and grandfather wanted for him; they wanted him to gain the prestige of the number one hero of Japan and establish the family name. They wanted fame, luxury and respect and they wanted to achieve it through him. Any and everything he accomplished would be something they could vicariously live through and benefit from.

It was sickening. He hated it.

His gaze shifted over to the side, lips a thin line as some... Girl began to speak with all the eloquence of a sailor. The profanity didn't bother Lucien; not at all. He just hated her voice and the way she sounded. She was loud and aggravating. Even worse? She was obnoxiously and almost verbally fellating the number one hero. How typical. They were all the same and loathed everything. For a moment his eyes closed as he just folded his arms across his chest and redirected his gaze to the ground.

'Keep your mouth shut, Lucien. You won't have to deal with this for much longer.' He spoke to himself, tried to keep himself calm. Being the presence of society's gods and the people who worshiped them bothered him. He didn't believe any of them were as altruistic as they presented themselves to be. They couldn't be. Subconsciously, he couldn't allow that. Because if they were all as good and kindhearted as they appeared to be...

Well, the perfect person invalidates your existence.

He needed to keep quiet lest he say something unbecoming. Just keep his mouth shut so he could avoid drawing attention to himself. Even if that very thing could easily draw attention to himself. After all, he was a young man with 'dreams of being a pro hero' and he had no outward reaction to the arrival of the number one hero. Instead, he remained silent and almost detached from the situation entirely. Detached from the group and the people who surrounded him; off to the side and slightly backed away. He'd just stay back until whatever exercise that was supposed to be taking place began.

Kanna Tanaka - UA Training Field

Interactions: @Thaleko
Mentions: anyone, everyone

Having a brief talk with Misoka, Kanna is left largely on the field to her own devices, which is mostly just standing at what seemed to be the entry point, waiting with crossed arms. Bit, by bit the others had arrived with a few missing, or so she assumed by the count of empty seats.. Next the woman from before was speaking, a guy in a hospital mask, a nurse or doctor judging by what was said, he cared as much to introduce himself, as Kanna had cared to pay attention. Much rather looking at the clouds as she waited to see what the current homeroom teacher wanted

As if to confirm her thoughts, from before, two events of note happened. One was a large man suddenly landing, a hero of some sort, if one judged him by clothing alone, Kanna could recall seeing his face, but not where, with him were two other students a girl with a..was that a Monkey tail? And a pudgy boy. Pondering this as many went on yelling about him being number one, Kanna wasn't too interested in that, but more of in that the fact he was number one had to mean he was strong.

Thinking on it briefly, her mother never did say much about the past and Kanna cared even less about it, as did her father. Her mother had came to regret much of her early life and had found peace at long last, the past could stay where it was... However she was sure he was among those her mother would mention, like Misoka, who that she hounded and battled so long ago, until they finally could match, or at least trick her into defeat.. If so then this guy was big, he must have big guts.. Her aura building slightly, she pauses to smile, parting her lips to say something, it was then that the second part of the missing people would make it's presence known.

Looking down as a line of sailor talk emerged from her Shadow, Kanna kept up her thin smiles, as she gazed at the source, it seemed like a whole new person, but different..no, it was the girl she pegged as being dead. Given her own family and her own childhood she knew enough to draw some of the dots, was she sick or was this from...whatever it was she did to get into her shadow.. When and where, or how she had done it were also valuable questions, questions in need of answers, but for a Priestess the moment was enough, the whodunit could wait for later.

Was the girl sickly or sinister? And should the Priestess try and help her? Or... Smiling thinly, the miko reaches out with her left hand, laying it atop Amaris's head, stroking her hair, with a placid smile her aura was starting to leak out, the maddening dangerous sort her mother was known to show, but, much more constrained at present. Almost like a friendly bear was poking a sick camper, she switches to a head pat as her smile slowly narrows.

"Amaris yeah? Neat trick.. Ask me next time though, I got enough space for shadows huh? You feeling alright..what was that? Hey, maybe you are just more of a night person, huh?"

For now, whatever thoughts she had of trying to fight with number one was put on hold as she decided to learn the nature of her hitch hiker.

As Chitose was waiting for Allo to begin the introduction to the assignment, the ground suddenly shook upon the impact of a massive figure carrying two individuals. She looked over, her eyes soon catching the face of a very familiar man, causing a smile to spread on her lips.

Nova Master, her husband and the father of all of her children, had arrived bringing what looked to be the remaining two students. One of them was a rather loud and excitable girl who was taking the leap over here far better than her friend, a smaller round boy who looked ready to collapse any second. That was just a side effect though; he would be fine.

She went ahead and checked the names off of the clipboard. In less than a second Chitose had poofed from her spot to Nova Master, her body floating at shoulder-length for him so that she could hug him appropriately.

"Good to see you honey~ Did the students end up in the middle of danger or something?" She asked him, referring to Airi and Isamu. Chitose figured something must have gone awry for the two to be late and also taken to school by Japan's number one hero.

Hisashi, on the other hand, gave Nova Master a brief round of applause. "Nice landing, 3/10." He judged, caring as much about Nova Master's sudden appearance as he did this assignment.

~~~~
Ichirou didn't know what to say. In an instant, not only was his mother helping to teach the class but his father suddenly arrived carrying what looked to be his remaining classmates. Why was dad here? He wasn't going to teach the class too, right?! No, no way. Dad was way too busy to be teaching a bunch of high schoolers about becoming a Hero... Besides, there was no reason for him to want to become a teacher anyway. His dad had never shown interest despite him getting offers.
Then again, his mother never showed interest either and here she was now.
A girl, Aurora's friend, suddenly became someone else. She was loud, obnoxious, and cheering on Nova Master as anyone else would. What strikes him as odd was how different the girl was in class versus now. Was that her quirk? Did her quirk involve a separate personality? Most likely... The differences between her and the original Amaris was really night and day... He kind of wanted to see more of her for curiosity's sake, but then again, he's not sure if he could handle being around something so loud all day.
~~~

Cupie didn't get what all the huff about this random hero in Halloween spandex was about until Wednesday Aadams suddenly developed a loud and proud personality. She scowled a bit and put her hands over her ears as her eardrums felt like they were going to start ringing. Cupie has plenty to say against her but for now she didn't want to make any enemies.

Instead, she wanted to focus on the more important matters at hand.

"Who is that guy?" She asked the people around her.

If Amaris hadn't hurt her ears, Cupie might not have had to ask the question but she, like everyone else, liked not having tinnitus.

"Nova Master. He's the number one hero in Japan. His quirks gives him some form of fire manipulation. He's also known to have a superhuman physiology, which lets him have super strength, speed and things of that nature. Whether or not that's a direct result of his quirk is unknown; he could have a dual quirk." Lucien finally spoke - his voice provided a stark contrast to the once boisterous and loud girl. He didn't look over to Cupie - he just answered her question while keeping his gaze locked on Nova Master and Nimbus. It was more so out of instinct; many times he'd been quizzed on known Pro Heroes and their abilities, and also made to theorize the full extent of their abilities as a test of his knowledge by his grandfather. He watched the two Pro Heroes interacting and he felt... Irritation.

Honey.

That stuck out to him like a sore thumb and even though he didn't react, he felt it was... Revolting, in a way. He always had an issue with people being affectionate in public; it was gross and unbecoming. He eventually diverted his gaze to the side, looking away towards the building itself as he just began to look. Distract himself from the endless slew of qualms and issues he had with everything.

"How are you unfamiliar with the number one hero of Japan? Especially if you're here in U.A. Who he is isn't exactly a secret." Lucien added, talking for the sake of talking until he'd be given some task to pour all of his attention into.

Slowly the field filled and the class was joined by the faculty. Nimbus was cheerful. The nurse was apathetic. Leon was grumpy. The Dulluhan Masaru still couldn't get a read on completely. Though the same could be said for Kanna, the foreign-looking girl that brought a chair, and now the pale girl seemingly burst to life when in Kanna's shadow, momentarily anyway. It was provided quite the shock, though Masaru's face sat at a confused deadpanned.

The class was a very weird mixture loners and whatever the others were...

Regardless, the excitement wasn't over, and the class hadn't fully come together. In the midst of the introduction, a mass came plummeting down from the sky and landed in the middle of their meeting point. It was a large figure with two smaller ones in tow; the number one hero Nova Master with the remaining students accompanying him.

Staring forward blankly, maybe Charlotte's question earlier was even more on point than he first thought. Sure U.A. was a high-end school and needed experienced teachers but, wasn't the top 10 list making up their roster a bit excessive? Were they going to start taking the rankers from other countries too?

Then there was the... pink one who apparently didn't know who the man even was. One of the brooding students replied, questioning how she could not know, especially if she was here. Even if you weren't someone interested in celebrities, it was kind of hard to miss. Was she a foreigner? Perhaps she just moved to the country. Either way, there weren't many excuses.

Folding his arms across his chest Masaru let out a soft sigh and just waited. The whole situation was rather odd, and thankfully, Charlotte seemed to take an interest in the others so he could relax and wait for an introduction to what would be happening.

The French girl in question had quickly disappeared from Masaru's side, instead appearing next to Kanna and Amaris, namely staring at the latter as she was patted by the miko. Bringing the index fingers of both hands up to the corners of the girl's mouth, Charlotte proceeded with no regard for personal space to gently mold the girl's expression to a smile before letting her face's natural blank display push back, repeating this a few times with vested interest.

"Huh... So that must be something with your quirk, hrm?" Charlotte inquired, though it was hard to tell if she was musing to herself or asking for confirmation.

Regardless, just as quickly as she had appeared next to the two, the small girl and disappeared to present herself to the one in question replying to Cupie. While trying to place himself in a position to not be focused on, his choice to speak up had obviously been a poor one. Taking note of his serious nature, knowledge on the heroes and the fact he had quickly averted his gaze at the mere display of a hug, Charlotte wasn't going to spare him.

"Oui, détournez votre regard de moins que l'étreinte explicite corrompe votre innocence." Charlotte leaned forward slightly with arms clasped behind her back and a smirk to her face. "So are you and Slender-Boy going to start a fan club?"

"Les personnes en position d'autorite devraient prendre leurs fonctions plus au serieux. Toute l'affection publique en public est plus une pisse que grossiere." Lucien responded casually, gaze flickering over and focusing to the girl who decided to invade his personal space and, even worse, talk to him. He was surprised that she spoke his language - it wasn't something he expected - but it was almost a pleasant surprise. Lucien stared down at her with an expression that betrayed no real emotion; just a blank stare that was enough to convey that he acknowledged her presence but no real opinion on the matter. There was a slight narrowing of his eyes at the very thought of him starting a fan club for any hero.

"Unlikely. That man is no hero of mine." None of them were. They were enemies, at the end of the day. The constant comparisons and the competition that was nailed into his brain from his childhood could only result in an almost antagonistic view of the 'heroes' he was in the presence of. Were they good people? Probably. They were heroes after all... But he knew better than to have such a black and white view of everything. Just because you wore a cape didn't make you a good person. "Vous êtes-vous déjà demandé combien d'innocents ont été tués pour des dommages collatéraux?" It was a bleak question and the only clear gateway one could get into his mind; how it worked and what he felt about... Them. Fuck them.

Fuck heroes.

They weren't perfect. Not as perfect as they pretended to be. In Lucien's mind, he could only wonder what skeletons they all kept in their closets. Power was corrupting; he'd read too many books about what influence and power could do to people. How it could change good-natured people into scum of the Earth. And these heroes that were worshiped as 'Gods'? No. They were flawed and dirty, deep down. Because the opposite? Them being 'pure' and 'good' without a single flaw or shortcoming? He couldn't live in a world like that. He wouldn't live in a world like that.

Smirking up at the taller boy, Charlotte's grin disappeared momentarily followed by a minor widening of her eyes out of astonishment. In hindsight, he didn't appear Japanese, but still. The only other person she had known to somewhat understand her was Masaru, and that was only bits and pieces from hearing the language from her. For someone to not just understand her but be able to retort in the same language was quite unexpected. Though the answers themselves were as stoic as the boy appeared.

Chuckling softly, the surprise alone wouldn't stop her ribbing.

"Est-ce pour les figures d'autorité ou pour tout le monde? Votre petite amie ne doit pas être très heureuse," Charlotte remarked, her smirk returning.

The display of the two heroes didn't particularly bother her. Though the appearance of the first rank was sudden, he and Nimbus were married, and it was but a hug. At first Charlotte simply thought the boy was a prude, like Masaru. Or perhaps he was simply so focused on a goal or achievement he left little room for nonsense—also like Masaru. However, the boy's next statement revealed some of his true thinking.

Sighing lightly, the smaller girl straightened up.

"My, so heavy so early in the morning," She complained, before replying to his question and sentiment with an uncharacteristic amount of seriousness. "Je ne peux pas parler pour le corps professoral ici, mais je sais que la destruction n’est pas exclusive aux héros ou aux méchants."

Charlotte wasn't even referring to villains. Obviously, the boy had something against Pro's. He didn't like, or at least didn't trust them. Maybe he was a hipster who just liked to dislike whatever was popular. Maybe he had lost someone to the exact circumstance he just proposed. Maybe he was just an aware citizen who kept up with the paper and didn't forget mistakes and accidents like some others would. She couldn't identify with his sentiment, not that she could really identify with fangirling either. Whatever heroes had done to him, or that he'd seen them done, she had not. No hero had wronged her. No—they were of a far more boring occupation, but one with a status that still carried weight. Abuse of authority was one thing, and Charlotte wasn't so ignorant to think all heroes were good or perfect, especially with some on the current roster, though she judged individuals rather than those under an umbrella. Her resentment or aversion would be withheld until one of the heroes in question did something that particularly vexed her.

"Oh well. I'm Charlotte, by the way," She introduced, glancing once again at the various staff on the grounds and the two students that made use of a hero as a late cab. "With an ice-breaker like that, you'll get all the girls at the dorm parties."

Allo softly chuckled at Jojo's nervous question the boy clearly was a hero fan extremely made more clear when Chitose showed up, and confirmed when Misoka came in. It wasn't a unusual effect, but it was always strange to see people react that way whenever he, or one of the others were in the presence of the populous. Probably why Allo stayed so much out of the spot light. However the process of thought was quickly interrupted as Allo nearly burst into laughter as Kanna almost called him a toothpaste man... okay that was a delightful new one.

"I don't think cute is what Hazmat thought of us Chitose pretty sure it was more dread at some point," Allo joked with Chitose as he noticed Amaris showing a unique near smile at the tip of her lips as she seemed to look at him temporarily. That was right many of these students were the children of his very classmates... crazy to think about. He gave Amaris a small smile back as he turned to Masaru whose question only brought a devilish grin to his face he would wait to answer that. It was then Allo noticed Lucien's gaze a gaze he knew all to well... it reminded him of Hidemi's gaze durign the first two years of their days at U.A... that was a gaze of someone who had a lot to say, but refused to do it... or more so a face that seethed resentment. Seemed Allo would have a hard time with that particular boy.

"Oh you grace us with your presence today huh "Auntie"," Allo lightly teased Misoka back for her little name quip. It seemed Aurora wasn't the only one who called Misoka a aunt now, and given that it was Kanna who was added to that list felt quite admirable a reward for Allo to witness Misoko receive. Given how much she had avoided them for awhile he had to admit it was nice to see such a old friend again. Yet for now pleasantries would have to be on hold as Chitose started to coral the kids outside.

"HI AUNTIE MISOKA, AUNTIE CHITOSE," Aurora cheered into existence as she was clearly excited to see the Dullahan Flame, and Nimbus. Though what would probably catch the rest of the students attention real quick is how she had addressed them as if they were like family to her. Aurora was excited to see them both, and to know she was goign to be trained by them as well as her father... though technically that last part wasn't new really.. BUT HER DAD WAS THE TEACHER, AND THAT WAS STILL AWESOME. Allo would have to address that as well as a few of the other students backgrounds as well as it was legally required, but that would take place after the first activity of the day.

"Oh, dear she's pulling a Kaz moment," Allo smiled as Kanna immediately jump out the window followed by Misoka's head as teh rest of the students started to file out.

"Huh, were still missing two."
...............................................................................

"So I see you made it as well Ichirou," Aurora snuck up somewhat on the boy as the dirt helped mask her weight a lot better then metal padding. She tilted her body side ways giving him a once over before smiling her peaceful smile before patting the boy with a bit of extreme force on the back.

"Heh, I was wondering if you were going to go this route as well," She chuckled leaning a heavy hand on his shoulder knowing well he could handle her weight a bit as they watched ironically Ichirou's father land in with the two missing students. While everyone had a emotion of reacts Aurora was quite complacent on the appearance of the number one hero. No disrespects, or anything of that nature it was just she wasn't impressed by it her dad, and mom were both hero's on the top ten list sort of nulled the excitement of seeing a particular hero.

"Still making over extravagant entrances Kaz," Allo chimed jovially as he appeared next to the number one hero, and unexpectedly lightly tapped the man with his roll call student chart as he looked over the two recovered students. Alright everyone was accounted for finally but first.

"You wouldn't happen to be responsible for there tardiness would you," Allo eyed Kaz jokingly as he looked back to Isami, and Airi.

"Don't worry we will blame this guy anyways. Maybe even have Chitose punish him later," he joked to the new students.

"Well for now Airi, and Isamu join your classmates we will get your gym clothes situated later, and no Nova Master will not be a teacher at U.A now that quite a few of us Top Ten will be busy shaping the hero's of the future he will be a little more busy then usual," Allo pointed out to the students as he noted Cupie, Charlotte, Akeno, Miko and Adeliede... they seemed to be more concentrated on their fellow students which was actually good the class needed more sociable types though Adeliede, and Akeno seemed to be anti social... that would be handled later.

"Now to answer both Masaru, and Jojo's earlier questions we will be starting today at this very moment. What I in particular will be training you in is Rescue, Survival, Tech management, and in particular today... combat," the excitable air of fortune suddenly took a estranged eerie air as Allo walked away from his peers out into the open field that Misoka had prepared. There was almost a unsettling aura coming from their homeroom teacher as he turned around seeming rather excited in a chaotic manner giving his signature grin as he looked out to his students.

"Today I will be judging your "current" capabilities to fight, and adapt in situational drastic progression into a fight with a force that could easily over take you," it almost sounded like he was about to? The air coming from Allo had turned from fatherly kind to ominously dark as if on the flip of the switch. An almost immense pressure would be felt by the students as he said the words that most villains would dread to hear from a top tier hero.

"Your only assignment today is pretty simply... you are to beat me in combat," the wild chaotic grin on his face turned into a devilish smile as he added.

"Singular combat, or teams your choice. Quirks are allowed. Yet be warned once you use yours... I might use mine," Allo devilishly chuckled.

"But don't be to alarmed I wont be using any of my gear, or suits in this session. And to be fair i will stick to keeping mainly to your fighting strengths.. at first anyways. IF anyone pushes themselves to fair i will incapacitate though so that Chitose can pull you out of the field. Misoka will make sure you don't go overboard in the fight. So if she tells you to quite you will do so," Allo suddenly switched back to his fatherly nature as he lifted a finger in point to this factor with a peaceful smile... was he trying to give someone a heart attack?

"So then whose first?"

For a split second, there was a frown on Lucien's face as she considered her remark. Girlfriend? Him? As if. Lucien had never even considered something like that before. Things like that had been categorized as 'frivolous' in his mind so there was just no place for it. Now? He didn't really know what to think or what to feel. It was just... Odd more than anything. His 'biggest' reaction to her was just a low grunt more than anything; an acknowledgement that he heard her, but wasn't going to actually respond. At least not a proper and dignified response. It wasn't something he didn't know how to really respond to and he refused to half ass a response.

"C'est vrai, mais c'est dégoûtant de regarder ces gens être traités comme des dieux." Lucien spoke quietly, practically hissing as he essentially spoke through grit teeth. It bothered him to no end; these people were... He hated all of it. Lucien knew he needed to keep himself in check - he knew he needed to pull himself together and get a muzzle on his thoughts. On his mouth. He knew better than to speak out of line; his father and grandfather had beaten that into him. He doubted any of the teachers could understand him, but he knew he was treading on thin ice. "Baise-les."

One last insult.

Just because he could.

Just because he finally had that freedom.

"Lucien." Swapping between languages was a bit awkward, but he did so without much issue even if his name came out with a heavier accent than normal. Typically it was almost absent but that was mostly because he rarely swapped between his native tongue and another. He took a moment to quietly clear his throat, arms remaining folded across his chest. "I don't do parties and I'm not here for a relationship." Lucien said matter-of-factly, his accent almost entirely gone now as he looked away from Charlotte back over to Surge Alloy.

"A combat test to gauge the potential of the students here and determine how well they can utilize their quirks." Lucien said, taking a step back as he waited to see who would go first. "Laissez les autres partir en premier. Restez en arrière et voyez comment il compte se battre." He spoke to Charlotte, deciding to patiently bide his time to get involved. It'd be stupid to go first and that was just the fact of the matter.

Jojo

Things only proceded to get worse.

The boy was nothing but a huddled ball of anxiety and panic at leats not a litteral huddled ball because he was standing straight as a stick in the mud, taking in all the heroes standing around him. If one could read his mind, it would show a chaotic mess of being starstruck, wondering what he was suppoused to do and his instincts going fight or flight.

Fight, or flight.

Everything in his body told him to run.

Run away so you don't make yourself look like a fool infront of your personal number one hero, the literal number one hero, the one whos literally a blazing irish fae creature, and most importantly your peers.

But what he did hear, was the first thing his homeroom teacher had commanded of him.

To fight.

Thus without thinking, without so much as a single thought, his body began to move forwards. First as a small step, then a trot, then a jog, his eyes glazed over and hair quite easily shading his face. One step became two, two steps became three... And thus...

The first combatant entered the stage!!

Looking from the outside it appeared the young man had some guts in him as he rushed towards the number three hero, tears running down his face as he sprinted fowards and did only what he knew how to do...

Become transient, get hit, possess him or something on him, try not to cry to much.

Waiting patiently, it seemed the first rank's appearance was a surprise for the teachers as well and as confirmed by Surge Alloy, he would not actually be a teacher at the school. Not that Masaru particularly cared, but he partly hoped that the school hadn't just gone down the roster one by one. There needed to be some still doing their real job, after all.

Soon enough, the students that took a ride with Nova Master had joined with the rest of the cluster and Surge Alloy had began briefing them on why they were all out there. Fortunately for him, and unfortunately for others, they were told that combat training would begin immediately. Namely, it was the assignment of fighting the teacher in question, at least for today.

Looking around, some were understandably hesitant, though Masaru thought them to be taking this a bit too seriously. It wasn't so much of a fight as a test. The faculty had their files, but obviously what was written on paper or even shown in the entrance exams could properly translate to a serious fight against a real threat. They had an opponent where they didn't have to hold back against now.

Still, Masaru wasn't exactly itching to charge head first into this opponent. He wouldn't stall for time if no one else stepped forward though. The most strategic of the group would probably try to pair up, though he wasn't going out of his way to do so for a number of reasons. Aside from not having spoken to anyone else, and many of them appearing as quiet as he was, there wasn't much time to come up with a plan or coordinate to make up for lack of familiarity. Teams might honestly just get in the way of each other.

Folding his arms momentarily, Masaru stared forward in focus. Bringing one hand up to partially cover his mouth as he thought, Surge Alloy was fairly dangerous in close combat, if he recalled right. Range was probably the best way to go unless there was an opening or momentary surprise. He could always try to trap him, maybe obstruct his vision with debris and then—and then?

Pausing from his thoughts, the sound of running caught his attention. It was the poor kid Charlotte was torturing earlier, running straight at the teacher. Blinking a few times, was he panicking? Whatever he was doing, unless the ghost boy was a genius that amount of time could not have provided an actual plan.

The hand that once partially covered Masaru's mouth now clasped against his forehead as he let out a sigh.

"So this is how this is going to go..."

Hearing his response, Charlotte giggled a bit as he finished. He was quiet the brooding one, or so it appeared. It brought on the question on why he was here. Masaru, she knew, had some personal reasons paired with a genuine will to do good. He could show some spite, if certain triggers were presented. Lucien seemed a bit different, though perhaps that was as his triggers were omnipresent.

"Alors, êtes-vous ici pour devenir un dieu ou les réduire d'un cran, je me le demande," Charlotte commented with a bemused face, hinting at her thoughts but not outright questioning him.

Charlotte had the feeling Lucien wasn't the type to spill his plate all at once, especially not to someone he just met. Honestly, she felt that she had gotten lucky to gain more than just a grunt in reply. She wouldn't push her luck, for now, considering that the teachers were finally starting their plans for the day, of which consisted a combat test with Surge Alloy.

Tilting her head slightly with an expression of mild interest, the class seemed understandably stunned. This was a rigged fight, right from the beginning, but as he heard Lucien muse, it wasn't a real fight and more of an examination. The teachers wanted to see what they could do, passed the dossiers they had already likely read.

Once again, Lucien said something and Charlotte released a small chuckle. She wouldn't be going first, that was for sure. Though as it seemed, that decision was already made.

Suddenly, a lean figure could be spotted running straight at the teacher, tears on his face and a courageous panic in his step. It was none other than Jojo, or Slender-boy as Charlotte had dubbed him. Perhaps being star-struck had fried his brain passed what she had first believed.

"Good luck!" Charlotte cheered gleefully, fully knowledgeable that he didn't stand a snowball's chance in hell.

Looking back to Lucien, Surge Alloy did say they could do the examination in groups. Charlotte would certainly take advantage. Masaru was always the frontal fighter, not her. She preferred a more subtle, roundabout touch. Better to act as support to someone else in this case less their teacher simply blitzkrieg into her.

"Partenaire?" Charlotte questioned him. "I have telekinesis, so I can help you maneuver or aid you in a pinch... or just chuck something at him... or throw him into something—Maybe. Also X-ray vision but that's..."
