I tried to listen to music while reading and/or doing tests in school because I was told it would help me focus better.
It didn't, I only got distracted and my grades and attention span would drop as a result whenever I tried it.
So I quickly stopped doing that, and make reading/music seperate activities most of the time.
The only time I may is if it's something like reading forum posts, but even then it will slow me down.
I only do it when I have time to spare, and forum activity is slow so there isn't much to be replying to.
