Murder XIX: Trouble in Paradise

"Hey!! That's no fair!" Bowser Jr yelped as the melted chocolate was suddenly flung into his face by both Rita and Yumeko. The tyke soon wiped the chocolate from his face and licked it off his palm.

However, due to him licking the remaining chocolate off his palm, he was too distracted to notice The Doctor stalling his engine with his Sonic Screwdriver. When he tried to get it working again, Bowser Jr began to scream when it wouldn't move.

"You stupid clown car!! Why aren't you working?!" Bowser Jr screamed as he began to slam his fists down on the control panel and kick the metal inside it. However, all the weaponry was fully functional, and it didn't take Bowser Jr long to realize that. So, Bowser Jr's first course of action was of utmost importance! The tyke pressed another button on the control panel, this time causing a long mechanical arm to stick out from the back and to something extremely evil...

Taking the Doctor's second bag of Jelly Babies! As Bowser Jr munched on the assorted candies, Giga Bowser glared down at him and snarled.

"JUNIOR!! Quit worryin' about that stupid candy and get t'work!" He shouted to his son, who simply rolled his eyes and repeated what his dad said under his voice in a mocking tone, just like a child his age would do.

"Take this, you stupid idiots!" He shouted from his clown car as he pulled out what looked like a wind up toy bomb with eyes. Bowser Jr then wound it up with the crank on the back, which automatically lit the fuse on fire.

He then threw the bomb towards The Doctor, Rita, and Yumeko, it happening to land perfectly in the center of all three of them. If they didn't hop out of the way in time, they'd all be caught in the blast!

"Oh dear, that doesn't look safe!" The Doctor exclaimed before pushing Rita and Yumeko away from the blast radius followed by himself.

"Grrrr... WHY CAN'T YOU IDIOTS JUST GET HIT?!" Bowser Jr screamed. Luckily for him, the engines were no longer stalled, allowing Bowser Jr the opportunity to drive on over to The Doctor. Once he got over there, two boxing gloves emerged out of the sides of the clown car.

"Take this, nerd!" He shouted as both boxing gloves began to try and punch the Doctor back to back simultaneously.

During the time that elapsed as the Doctor pushed the others out of the way of the bomb, Gon did the unthinkable and stayed where he was in harm's way, having been around the area as he stood there, trying to figure out a way to disable Bowser Junior's vehicle. By himself, the child was no match for even the de-powered Gon, but if he wondered to play with fire, then the boy would simply adapt and fight fire with fire.

As the wind-up bomb rolled toward him, Gon nonchalantly picked it up while it came close to blowing up, staring at it as though there were no consequence to it.

...

Then he got an idea, and put on a goofy, toothy grin.

Looking at Bowser Junior flying around, concerned with trying to take down the Doctor, Gon closed one eye to help with his accuracy, before calling out to the tyke.

"Hey, you! Take this!" He called out, throwing the still ticking bomb toward Junior!

He could only hope that by the time it reached his general area, the Doctor had already cleared out as well.

Rita had barely known the Doctor, but she was happy when he pulled her back. She felt horrible, but saw what Gon was doing. Hmmm... maybe I-No could help them. " Miss Yunmeko, I have an idea. Could you follow my lead?" She asked. She hoped that she would say yes. " Miss I-no, Bowser mocked you earlier. Maybe you should exact some revenge on his throne just to prove that you are better than him, pretty sure he called you the exact same thing Risky did earlier," she said.

As Bowser Jr was over there hitting the Doctor with his boxing gloves, he was caught off guard by the sudden Bob-omb thrown his way! Before he had a chance to pick it up and throw it back, the bomb exploded right by him, which sent the tyke back a bit.

"WOAHWOAHWOAH!!" He yelled as he slid back, though eventually Bowser Jr pressed another button on his control panel. This time, a wrecking ball protruded out of the side and slammed into the ground, stopping Bowser Jr from sliding any farther.

Once he regained his composure, Bowser Jr glared at Gon from his clown car, instantly recognizing him as the kid who beat him up earlier. Without saying another word, the tyke pulled his bib over his mouth and dove back down into his clown car.

After a bit of shuffling around, Bowser Jr pulled out what looked like a pile of hammers and began throwing throwing them at Gon, The Doctor, Rita, and Yumeko one by one!

Once the cannonballs were out of the way, Axl got right back to work on destroying that throne. As he did, everyone would feel a surge of power. Could it be...your powers were returning? Only a bit now, though-around 10% of your power was back.

"Oh don't worry about me." The Doctor ducked and turned with surprising agility from the oncoming hammers. "Here's a little riddle for you all! How does one blind a lizard? You use your head!" As he said that the Doctor removed his hat from his head and threw it at that Bowser Jr's face in an attempt to temporarily blind him.

"Oh no you don't, twerp!!!" Giga Bowser yelled as Axl continued to destroy the throne. Giga Bowser then moved his hand to try and swat Axl out of the way. But the damage was done, as a good ten percent of the throne had taken damage from Axl and Yusuke's attacks.

Whether it connected or not, Giga Bowser would turn to Bowser Junior and roll his eyes as he continued to fight that group.

"JUNIOR!! Quit worryin' about them losers 'n get yer butt over to the throne!" Giga Bowser shouted, earning a nod from his son.

"Yes Papa!" Bowser Jr exclaimed as he ceased the hammer throwing, dropping them back into his clown car again. The young tyke would then glare at Gon for a short moment before heading back over to the throne to help defend it from further attacks.

Oh, and the hat hit Bowser Jr too. But it only blinded him for a split second before Bowser Jr snatched it away and added it to the collection of things he had stolen from The Doctor.

Gon blinked and let out a soft gasp as he felt some of his powers return to his body, as though he had lost an innate sense that was coming back to him. As the Doctor threw his hat at Bowser Junior to distract him, Gon's bewildered expression at his own surging power changed into a confident smirk as he cracked his knuckles.

"That's better! It's time to tip the scales already!" He exclaimed, while the tyke fluttered back over to the throne to defend. With only ten percent of his power, the young Hunter wasn't yet confident enough in his own abilities to stand up to the super-powered turtle, but once it all came back to him... Gon figured he'll be playing a fun little game of rock, paper, scissors with Bowser. His Nen was still weak at the moment, but his innate strength should be able to be more than enough for the time being.

Not letting Bowser Junior get off so easily, he chased after the child in the clown car, deftly dodging any hammer that got in his way as his already keen reflexes were heightened, trying to stay clear of Giga Bowser at the moment.

"We're not done here yet!" Gon exclaimed toward Bowser Junior. The glare directed his way did not go over his head; it was clear that there was a fire that needed to be directly addressed. And who was Gon to deny such a thing?

Leaping into the air, he reached the height of Junior, and at speeds faster than the eye could process...

BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!

... Gon began delivering mighty blows toward the clown car, hoping that his superhuman strength would be enough to disable the vehicle and put Junior out of the fight!

Just as he was planning to give the throne another attack, it seemed that Bowser Jr. had returned to help protect it. He wanted to clear their path to the throne so the rest could gain full access to their powers. So Yusuke moved beside Gon and focused his efforts on attacking Bowser Jr's car with his sword.

"A gift from me!" the boy called out, "For all the times you spat in my face and kicked me!"

"Urgh!" Once again, Axl would be swatted away, but he would do better at resisting the attack than before. "Still can't do any of my special moves, I'm afraid," he said. "But I can still try to knock that thing down!"

With Gon and Yusuke fighting the little gremlin in the clown car, Axl went right on back to attacking the throne.

Yamashiro was still in shock over how the Giga Bowser so easily caught and destroyed her Zuiun. She felt sad over the loss of the pilot most especially, and given the attempts to attack it by the others, she felt there wasn't much time, no better time, to try what she intended to do earlier.

Hoping that the attacks from the others were enough distraction, she aimed her guns at Giga Bowser's eyes. She had hit moving targets from distances over 100 times as long, so she applied those principles and experiences to this closer distance, but quicker speeds.

"For Zuiun, your sacrifice shall not be in vain. Firing!!!"​

Welp, Gon succeeded in knocking out Bowser Jr, the young tyke being completely knocked out of his clown car when Gon delivered those super kicks to it.

Bowser Jr now laid on the ground, completely out cold, just like earlier when Fawful showed up.

Needless to say, Bowser wasn't happy.

Upon noticing his own son, the only heir to the Koopa throne, get knocked out by some kid with messed up hair, Giga Bowser rushed over to his son and lifted him up in his palm, holding him close as a tear fell from his eye. He wasn't even focusing on the throne anymore. All that mattered to him right now was his son.

"It's okay Junior... Daddy's got you." Giga Bowser whispered to his son, these being the only genuinely sorrowful words that anyone had heard come out of Bowser's mouth, even Luigi. However, Giga Bowser's grief soon turned into anger as he stared up at Gon, pure hatred in his eyes.

"What did you do to my son, ya little twerp?!?!?!" Giga Bowser yelled before gently setting Junior down on the the pile of chocolate coins (or what remained of it at least.) The Koopa King then proceeded to stomp over to Gon and stare down at him, though before he could exact his vengeance, Yamashiro began to shoot bullets directly at his eyes.

Of course, she didn't hit his eyes, but rather his torso. Giga Bowser only snarled in response before attempting to punt Yamashiro out of the way.

After assisting Gon, Yusuke quickly pulled back. Bowser didn't seem to notice that he had been involved in attacking the car so he used this to his advantage. He sneaked around and attacked the throne with all of his strength, hoping to do some damage to it.

With the distraction of Bowser Jr. going unconscious, Axl and Yusuke would damage the throne significantly-power was now restored by 25%! In fact, with Giga Bowser preoccupied, this was the best chance to attack the throne with all you could!

"This is working," Yusuke stated, seeing they were managing to do a significant amount of damage to the throne. "Let us strike once more!" The boy attacked the throne again--repeatedly now if he had the chance to do so. It was time for them to get their powers back!

The torch actually did some significant damage, some of the fabric catching on fire and such.

Meanwhile, Giga Bowser was too distracted with Gon to even worry about the throne. "I'M GONNA RIP YER SKULL OUT AND REPLACE IT WITH THAT JERSEY FREAK'S!!!" Giga Bowser shouted as he attempted to grab Gon.

As more of the power returned to Gon's body, he could feel his Nen surging throughout, giving him more courage as Bowser approached him and stared him down, no doubt seeking vengeance for doing a number to his son. If he were a more conscious person of such things, perhaps Gon would have felt worse about it, but one, this wasn't the time to get bogged down by being apologetic for taking out an enemy, and two... Well, Gon wasn't that good of a person to be honest, even if he was just a child, or so people liked to just assume of him.

"!"

With a slight gasp, Gon performed a few backflips with his returning agility in an attempt to evade Bowser's grasp, knowing he likely wouldn't last long in the monster's clutches! After creating some distance, Gon quickly thought up what to do. At only a quarter of his power, he figured he couldn't do much to substantially damage Bowser, but given enough time for the others to further damage the throne and restore his powers, soon the tables would be turned, Gon was sure!

Focusing his Nen energy into his hands, a bright light emanating as he focused it, he waited for Giga Bowser to charge toward him once again, producing an attack that, while it probably wouldn't physically do too much notable damage, would certainly be effective in its own right.

"Jajankenpa!"

Creating an energy projectile in his hands, Gon fired it from his hands right at the charging enemy, hoping to at the very least temporarily disorientate Giga Bowser and keep him at bay while the others helped restored his power!
