Name: Ashley "Ash" J. Williams
Age: In his 20's.
Gender: Male
Canon: The Evil Dead movies (specifically Army of Darkness for this point in canon)... and Murder V: The Reapers' Game.
Abilities/Attributes:
The Guy with the Gun
Chainsaw Hand
Fast on His Feet
Freakishly Badass
Personality: Ash is a guy's guy. He likes his drink, his guns, his babes, and his cutting Deadites up with chainsaws. He's not book smart- if he has to think too hard, you'll see smoke coming out of his ears- but he's got street smarts in spades. Never one to leave a man (or woman, or kid, or whatever) behind, he actually dreads losing people more than anything else.
At this point in his life, "normal" just doesn't sit with him anymore. Especially because he's not very good at anything except killing monsters. He's been through so much weird shit, horrible death, and other shenanigans that working at S-Mart and coming home to his trailer for a quiet evening would only drive him nuts. ...More nuts. Ash isn't doing so hot in the mental health category. All of that experience with black magic, dead things, lost appendages, time travel, dying, and Reaper's Games has taken a toll on him, and he's starting to crack.
Short(ish) Bio: Ash was basically your average (sorta wimpy) guy, until he and his friends decided to go camping up at a cabin in the woods and accidentally played a recording of a passage from the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis, a.k.a. the Book of the Dead. Ever since, his life's been a living hell. Pretty literally. Dead girlfriend: Check. Dead sister, dead friends: Check, check. Having to fight said dead loved ones as demonic undead creatures: You bet your ass. Oh, and then there's the part where he temporarily turned into a Deadite, amputated his hand, and got thrown through a time warp into the Middle Ages to fight an undead army.
Supposedly he's some hero of prophecy to those medieval cats. Now that may be, but sad to say he kinda fell short. When he went up against his evil Deadite clone (long story), he actually got his ass kicked. Tookan arrow to the knee a sword through the chest.
Next thing he knew, Ash found himself thrown into a Reaper's Game with a chance to earn a ticket back to Lifesville. To survive the trials, he formed a tag-team partnership with a lady named Jenny and a girl named Teresa. Unfortunately he ended up letting them down- again- and was killed in a brawl. Whoops.
Miraculously, the Reapers decided to give him another chance. Once more, Ash was resurrected, and once more he was thrown into a Reaper's Game. This time, he prevailed to the end. Now he's back in business, but something just doesn't feel right. Something the Reapers told him at the end of the Game has been keeping him up late at night, wondering what they meant...
"Too bad you never learned the truth. Guess no one could expect much more from you, though. Have fun with your reward anyway, chump."
Ash has never been the worrying sort, but by now he sure knows an ominous statement when he hears one. What "truth" was he supposed to learn? And why does he still feel like there's unfinished business left over from his Murder/Reaper ordeal?
Maybe that niggling feeling is why he accepted the obviously shady invitation from this "Golden Witch Beatrice" character. Or maybe he's just hoping for a chance to kick some witchy ass.

Abilities/Attributes:
The Guy with the Gun
Ash knows his way around a boomstick, and he's not afraid to use it. The man does everything but pick his teeth with a gun. (Probably because he's never thought to try it.) He's a hell of a shot and he has experience with a wide range of weaponry.
Chainsaw Hand
'Nuff said.
Fast on His Feet
Whether it be MacGyvering a weapon or spouting off witty one-liners, Ash is actually a pretty clever cookie. He's fast-thinking, rolls with the punches, and highly adaptable.
Freakishly Badass
This guy can go through the ringer. He's built like a Sherman tank. He's also seen some shit, so not much slows him down when it comes to facing his fears. Ash also has a knack for defying death; case in point, he got not one but TWO shots at coming back to life already.
