OH uh

If that's the case, then yeah, someone who is injured will be permanently unable to participate in the matches, though I'm making sure that the only people who will be able to be injured are those who have already participated in a match, so thus, the first "assassination" will occur after the first match

I should note that the event would just all be matches; there's gonna be points where people will explore the... ah, facilities where you're all confined into and uncover plot things, so it won't all be that

@Crow

So if we're injured, we can still explore like the vents and back rooms or whatever, right?

Just not play in another game?

Basically, yes.

It likely won't even be that much of a bad thing since there's only gonna be like... three matches. On that note, a power that will always be ignored though, on and off the court, will be durability, so someone as hardy as like, Superman (an extreme example but still) can get a broken ankle from Arya Stark or so, lol

So, off court we can use powers, but on court no powers.

Alrighty.

Alright, this is regarding the 'duos/trios not allowed' stuff.

Mirei will be in the matches by herself, but outside of them, is it possible for a tagalong character (i.e. her manager/producer, or for other characters, familiars, summons, obligatory underlings, all that) to partake in the investigation sidestories?

I mean, I'm not talking about gigantic armies, I'm talking about one or two people.

Ah, I suppose I can allow it if they're not partaking in the matches

@Crow

Alrighty, time to throw in some hijinks.

First time playing a Murder Tale...excuse me if I do fail horribly

Jeanne_Bayonetta_2_render.png

Name: Jeanne

Age: 500 years or so

Canon: Bayonetta

Personality: Serious, aggressive, impatient and very rash
Also swears and taunts a lot

Backstory:
500 years ago, she was the heir to the Umbra throne. In her final test to see if she was fit to lead the Umbra Clan, she was asked to take on an opponent, in which she picked Bayonetta. Despite going against the Umbran Law, she nevertheless duelled Bayonetta, and ultimately lost. Soon after her defeat, a war broke out between the Umbra Witches and their counterparts, the Lumen Sages. The Umbra Witches won, but this cause fear to spark amongst humans. With the help of Balder (the last Lumen Sage after the war), the humans went onto massive witch hunts that left Jeanne and Bayonetta the only survivors. Jeanne, however, feared that the Umbra's greatest treasure, the Left Eye of the World (held by Bayonetta) will be taken away by the Sages, she stabbed Bayonetta and sealed her away in a lake for 500 years in an effort to protect her.

Jeanne quickly went into hiding, only to get brainwashed by Balder in the present day. She ended up being tasked to lead Bayonetta (who has woken up after her 500-year slumber) to her 'fate' (which really basically meant to lead Bayonetta to Balder so that he can revive Jubileus). The brainwashed Jeanne continually challenged Bayonetta, with their greatest battle being at Isla Del Sol.

The battle at Isla Del Sol went against Jeanne's favour and she lost, but this defeat was enough for her to regain her senses. She told Bayonetta about the gem that she used to protect her 500 years ago. Just as two rockets blew up, Jeanne pushed Bayonetta out of the way to save her once again.

It turns out, Jeanne survived the explosion, as well as breaking away from Balder's brainwash, thanks to the gem, and later went to free Bayonetta from being merged with the statue of Jubileus. She succeeded, but was blasted away by a shockwave from the statue. Jeanne survived, and later helped Bayonetta to destroy the last remnants of Jubileus.

Shortly after the events of the first game, Jeanne meets up with Bayonetta to discuss about the unusual behaviour of the Trinities of Realities. Nevertheless, she headed off to pick up more stuff for the Christmas party her and Bayonetta were going to hold, along with a couple of other friends. This was later interrupted after an army of Angels hijacked a couple of jets, terrorising the city. As a result, Jeanne began killing the angels along with Bayonetta so that they can fulfil their obligations to their Demons. However, as Bayonetta summoned Gomorrah to finish one of the bigger Angels, Gomorrah broke free from its bindings and attempted to attack Bayonetta, only for Jeanne to step in at the last second to save her friend. Jeanne's soul was forcefully knocked out of her own body, and was dragged down into the depths of Inferno. Not long after, her soul was captured by the demon Alraune.

Luckily, Bayonetta went into the Gates of Hell in order to enter Inferno to save Jeanne. She later encounters Alraune, and brutally wounded the demon, freeing Jeanne's soul just barely making the time limit. Jeanne's soul later returned to her own body, which was being preserved by Rodin.

After she made a full recovery, Jeanne later escorted Bayonetta and a young Balder to the top of Fimbulventr to stop the main antagonist of the game, Loptr (BASICALLY AESIR).

So ummm...

... do we have a brief plan of the team arrangements yet? Like, are we doing it randomly or are we manually sorting them based on compatability(or a lack thereof)?

I'll be arranging people into teams once I close sign-ups / the RP begins, and I'll be deciding through something like Random Number Generator most likely (or possibly something else, who knows) to see who will be put into which team, if that's what you're asking

@Crow

We only have two animalistic characters here. Surprisingly no bears. I guess we put bear traps all over this place huh? I'm sure the horse can just fly over them and the fox can melt them with melty cheese magmagic.

Say @Bomb
Is the Delphox the height stated on the Pokedex or is it taller/shorter?

Well according to this: Delphox Pokédex: stats, moves, evolution & locations | Pokémon Database Elsa's height is 4'11'. But I'm guessing it doesn't matter cuz the powers might change up our stuff.

Backstory:
"
I was born in a large city on the south part of England, where travelers come by and take photographs, while I jump through time and space to the United States, where there is a place called Colombia, high in the sky. And in this place are wonders that none of those below know of. Yet the only reason it is up there, is because me and my sister, were able to give such wonders of technology to a zealot. A casual man, am I."

The end.

27 huh

Let's just hope we get 1 more to make 28. The conditions imply requiring an even number

Well, Awards end in 2 days, probably 2.5 based on timezone differences. I guess I better start prepping.

i imagine / hope that the amount of people who drop / end up being really inactive will even the odds :x

@Crow

Why not do a role call once the Awards Ceremony end?

Isn't Kim technically dropping out doe to her hiatus?

But then again, we don't know how long it will be...

The award show proooobably won't be ending at the stated time due to a few issues on our end. Pretty much all the group owners are sick/dealing with things right now.

I have hired a contractor for a bunch of the awards : |

ALSO, yeah, about 25% of people usually drop out, if not more. This usually occurs during the games themselves for whatever reason.
