GET IN THE GROUP GENERAL CHAT SO WE CAN DISCUSS HEAVY METAL BANDS, ROCK NIGHT! THE TWO COOLEST MURDER BROS, ATOMYK AND MYSELF, WANT YOU TO JOIN SO JOIN, YOUNG KNIGHT OF ROCK!

Canon: Tales of Vesperia

Name: Karol Capel

Age: 12

Appearance: Karol stands at about 135cm, which is a rather appropriate height for his age. He has brown, thick hair, which sits almost completely erect due to an almost silly looking cowlick. As for clothes, Karol usually wear a red bandanna around his neck, a green and white over shirt with a plain black shirt underneath, and light brown pants held up with a rather fanciful belt. His bodhi blastia sits engraved on to the rather large blue and yellow bag he always carries around with him.

Abilities/special traits: Karol's most apparent ability is his strength. Despite his age and height, Karol is able to lift and use large and heavy weapons like hammers and broadswords. While the full extent of this strength likely comes from his bodhi blastia, Karol at least has above-average strength for a boy his age.

The bodhi blastia also assists Karol in manipulating aer (A component of Terca Lumireis that is used as energy) in order to use various strike artes. These mostly consist of various ways Karol can amplify his weapon's offensive capabilities. Also, Karol likes to use the various items in his bag as weapons, whether it be throwing a baseball or spraying an enemy in the face with bug spray.

Items/possessions: Karol's greatest possession is his bag! It's not any ordinary bag, as it has his bodhi blastia embedded on to the front of it. Due to this, Karol requires his bag to use the extent of his powers and abilities. Stuff Karol keeps inside of the bag usually contains a wide number of objects, from baseballs, bug spray, axes, hammers, and (greatest of all) Karolow X!

Biography:
Most notable about Karol is his exuberance. Often, Karol will be the first to express his excitement or joy, boast about his team's prowess, brag about his guild's capabilities, or tell everyone how confident he is about whatever is coming next. However, he is a lot more timid than he lets on. Years of being rejected from the various guilds in Dahngrest had led Karol to be rather uncertain about his abilities. One of the few things that kept Karol from giving up was his idol Don Whitehorse, who was the leader of the Guild Union which ran Dahngrest. Karol wanted nothing more to become a respected member of a guild and someone Don Whitehorse would recognize. Though, when Whitehorse was killed, Karol gave up on his dream, sure that he wasn't strong enough to live up to anything. Thankfully Yuri, one of Karol's teammates, talked the boy out of his slump, causing him to reflect on himself and realize what he needed to do to improve. Now, Karol has more confidence in himself and knows that he can always rely on the people he trusts if need be.

Even with this confidence he has gained, Karol is still just a young boy. Situations that seem overly dangerous or scary can still cause Karol to react cowardly, even if he would never say so outright. He is simply more likely to be able to act while scared nowadays, rather than be scared and hesitant.

Karol has always disliked his small size, which is why he carries such large items and weapons around with him. He desires to appear larger than he is and so he boasts about his capability. This is also a large reason why Karol does not like to appear scared or frightened.
Karol never knew his parents, for they were gone before he was even 4 years old. They existed only as vague shapes in a life where the boy was forced to grow up faster than most. Due to the loss of his parents, Karol was taken under the care of various guilds, working on menial jobs that a boy his age could do. As he grew, he was forced out of various guilds and into new ones, eventually learning how to fight in the process. Karol began to idolize the leader of the Guild Union, Don Whitehorse, and desired to to be respected by Whitehorse one day. Karol continued to join new guilds, eventually being kicked out of them after some time. During his time in these guilds, he traveled to various parts of the world and gained a considerable knowledge of the planet, Terca Lumireis.

Eventually, Karol had been kicked out of almost every guild in Dahngrest. He joined one of the last ones left, the Hunting Blades, and soon developed a crush on Nan, one of the guild members. However, despite his desire to impress Nan and the rest of the guild, the Hunting Blades decided to kick Karol out as well.

Before they did this, the guild went to Halure to kill the monsters threatening the town there. Normally, Halure's tree projected a barrier around the town that protected it from monsters, but it had mysteriously withered recently. Karol realized that the blood of the monsters killed in and around Halure had poisoned the tree. He knew that a panacea bottle could heal the tree and that the claw of an eggbear was needed to make it. When none of the Hunting Blades believed him, Karol went to the Quoi Woods by himself to get the ingredients, hoping everyone would wait for him. The Hunting Blades wanted to be rid of Karol, though, so they decided now was the opportunity to leave him. They ditched the boy and left Halure.

In Quoi Woods, Karol mistook Yuri and Estelle, two travelers looking for a thief who took an important blastia, for an eggbear. The blastia are pieces of technology that once belonged to an ancient civilization. The society of Terca Lumireis revolves around the blastia, which can be written to perform a variety of functions, whether it be to pump water or hold up a barrier that keeps out monsters.

Karol proceeded to attack the pair, but ended up just getting himself hurt in the process. When he realized they weren't monsters, Karol introduced himself as a member of the Hunting Blades, still unaware he'd been kicked out. When Yuri and Estelle attempted to leave, Karol appointed himself as their escort and joined them on their way to Halure.

In Halure, Karol left the pair to meet up with Nan and the other members of the Hunting Blades. When he realized they were all gone, he became depressed, thinking the guild and Nan must have been mad at him for leaving. When Yuri and Estelle decided they wanted to help revive the tree, Karol told them what he thought will fix it. The pair believed Karol, and the three of them left Halure to gather the ingredients.

When the group eventually gained a panacea bottle and used it on the tree, it unfortunately was not enough to cure it completely. Thankfully, Estelle used a mysterious power to heal the tree completely. Afterward, Estelle and Yuri then decided to head to Aspio and Karol decided to join them to catch up with his guild. Rita Mordio, an intelligent but anti-social blastia researcher joined them soon later, and eventually the group traveled to Caer Bocram, a ruined city.

There, the group ran into Nan, who revealed to Karol that the Hunting Blades kicked him out. Later, when the group was forced to fight a large monster called the Dreaded Giant, Karol was absent from the group. After the fight, the group found Karol above the chamber where the Dreaded Giant was fought, arguing with Nan, who berated him on running away from his new friends when they needed him. She explains to him that this is why he was ultimately kicked out the Hunting Blades and many of the other guilds he had joined in the past.

The group eventually added Raven, a high-ranking guild member, and Judith, a mysterious Krityan woman who was hunting and destroying blastia, to their group. They ended up stopping the machinations of an evil guild leader named Barbos and recovered the aque blastia core which Yuri and Estelle first started their journey to recover.

Soon, Estelle was attacked by a being named Phaeroh, who was of a race of creatures called Entelexeia. The group then headed to the Sands of Kogorh to meet Phaeroh and discover why he attacked Estelle. It was during this time that Karol decided to form a Guild, with the reasoning that a strong Guild would be the best way to repay Don Whitehorse for the protection he offered Dahngrest. He formed Brave Vesperia (named by Estelle after the brightest star in the sky) with Yuri, Repede (Yuri's dog), and Judith to promote good deeds and do justice. Yuri named Karol boss because the guild was ultimately his idea, though Karol admitted that he wasn't ready for the position.

When they reached Phaeroh, Estelle discovered that she is known as the Child of the Full Moon, an omen of the end of the world. Unlike the rest of the world, which requires a blastia in order to reconstitute aer into magic, Estelle can reconstruct aer on her own: this is how she used her healing artes. Unfortunately, this method of conversion is so inefficient that it puts a great strain on the aer resources of the world, threatening to bring forth a disaster known as the Adephagos: a being that feeds off aer and would convert all life on the planet back to pure aer to satisfy its hunger.

Later, due to an error made by Harry, Don Whitehorse's grandson, the Duce of Nordopolica, Belius, was killed. As retribution was demanded, Whitehorse took his grandson's place to be executed to avoid war.

Karol was shaken by the loss of his idol and began to hate himself for his indecision and cowardice. Karol told Yuri that he had given up and that he couldn't travel with the group anymore. Yuri was disgusted by Karol's attitude and told him that Brave Vesperia would leave him behind if he hesitated any longer. After mulling over the words Don Whitehorse told him about standing up for himself yet being able to ask for help, he resolved to join the party, but he denied the "boss" title until the guild felt that he had done something worthy of it.

During this period of time, Karol, burdened by emotions, was unable to sleep. Karol talked with the Don's grandson Harry and began to train with the Don's weapon. He also told Yuri about his dreams, about him being helpless to save those he loves in them. By training with the Don's weapon, however, Karol found some measure of peace within himself.

After the groups saved Judith, Karol called a guild meeting and displayed a new maturity when he acknowledged his own weaknesses, about his inability to help his fellow guild members, but he also acknowledged the mistakes of his fellow guild members and accepted them anyway. This marked one of the occasions where Karol acted as a true leader by realizing his own failures and attempting to atone for them, as well as making others atone for their failures to the guild.

Eventually, Estelle was kidnapped by Raven, who was revealed to be Imperial Knight Captain Schwann Oltorain. Commandant Alexei Dinoia was revealed to be the mastermind who funded Barbos' schemes in order to create a replica of the legendary sword Dein Nomos: an aer-manipulating treasure of the royal family that could open the way to a powerful weapon known as the Enduring Shrine of Zaude. During the group's fight against Raven/Schwann, Karol was horrified by the man's betrayal and attempted to tell him that he was like the father Karol never had. Raven however cuts Karol off before he could fully express this.

The group learned that Raven/Schwann had been blackmailed by Alexei for the last ten years of his life. Not wanting to fight his friends any longer, Raven decided to defy Alexei by sacrificing himself to allow the group to escape the trap set by Alexei. However, Raven/Schwann is saved his loyal subordinates and rejoined the party.

The group then eventually found themselves at the Blade Drifts of Zophiet in their pursuit of Alexei and Estelle. When a monster called the Baitojoh managed to trap the party, Yuri knocked Karol out of the way of the trap. Yuri told him to run, but Karol was hesitant to do so and decided to face the Baitojoh to protect his friends. He held his own, until the the monster managed to knock his weapon away. He stood his ground though, resolving that, as long as his friends were there, he would refuse to back down. When the Baitojoh charged at him, Karol was knocked into the air, but, in that instant, he managed to grab a sword laying there, the Bravior, which he used to strike the monster and free his friends.

When the group finally caught up with Alexei at the capital, Alexei took control of Estelle's aer-manipulation powers and, along with his False Dein Nomos, succeeded in reviving Zaude. Yuri rescued Estelle and the party pursued Alexei to Zaude. Here, the Commandant, tasked with saving a world that he knew was killing itself through excessive blastia use, intended to use Zaude to rewrite the natural laws of the world by destroying and recreating it. Despite the best efforts of the group, Alexei succeeded in activating Zaude. To everyone's surprise, it was revealed that Zaude was not a weapon but a giant barrier blastia that Alexei had inadvertently de-activated, allowing the Adephagos to seep through into the world. Realizing that his fatal mistake had doomed the world, Alexei committed suicide by allowing Zaude to collapse upon him.

Rita then researched a way to stop the Adephagos and discovered a method to transform apatheia- which make up the cores of blastia- into spirits, which can convert aer into a safe substitute called mana. By converting every blastia core in the world into a spirit and using it to power a massive weapon, she theorized that it would have enough strength to destroy the Adephagos. Realizing that such an action would irreversibly change the entire world, the group met with the leaders of the Empire and Guilds in order to ask permission to carry out such an act.

The group eventually received the blessing of the worlds' leaders to carry out their plan. Unfortunately, Duke Pantarei, a veteran of the Great War who had lost his faith in humanity, had revived an ancient weapon called Tarqaron with the intention of sacrificing the lives of every human in the world in order to power the weapon and destroy the Adephagos. The group confronted him at the peak of Tarqaron, but neither could stand down due to their shared desire to save the world in their own ways.

Duke and Brave Vesperia then fought to resolve their conflict of beliefs.

Name: Anima
Age: In the negatives!?!? Looks 20-something

Abilities/special traits: Previously capable of Esper powers akin to being Godlike, she has been nerfed to retain the versatility with a great decrease of power. Main use is general telekinesis, including the ability to float. Time control has been removed, and space control is limited to invading dreams and creating hammer-space rooms with customizable designs.

Items/possessions: A toy from the future given to her by her brother. It takes the form of a large tilted Ring that floats above her head, and has a small Earth and quarter-moon on it.

Biography: Anima is sister to Animus, both of whom were born in an age of space travel. They were kept on board a space-station, and experimented on due to their immense psychic powers. However, Animus lost it, and proceeded to destroy everything and smash the Earth to bits. Since then, he's been traveling to the past bit by bit, and Anima has been trying to stop him. He made it a game, where twelve knights and a princess would fight twelve golems that he made. If the knights lost, then Animus would once more destroy the Earth and travel back in time, seeking the origin of knowledge. Anima would follow and try to stop him, once more.

Name: Asahina Samidare AKA "Princess"
Age: 16 [No joke]

Abilities/Special Traits: Superhuman physical prowess (Power & Endurance) and strong telekinesis . Both abilities are from power taken from Anima, and will continue to grow in strength over time.

Items/possessions: Theater Curtain (She uses it as a cool cape!)

Biography: Asahina was born with a disease that medicine didn't have a cure for. Alongside that, she needed constant treatment, and the certainty of death was inevitable. So she's lived her life in the hospital. This changed when Animus's game started. Anima chose Asahina to play the role of 'Princess,' and in doing so, made her sick body strong and healthy. With that, she became outwardly energetic and happy.

Extras: Bacon rules, but Samidare is better.

Name: Idoun (THE DARK DRAGON IDOUN)

Canon of Origin: Fire Emblem: Binding Blade (... loosely)

Age: ~2000 years old (according to her)

Abilities/special traits: She claims she can turn into a dragon. Nobody has seen her actually do this, but she talks about it (and her VAST POWER in general) a lot.

Also, her eyes are different colors. That means she's special, I guess. Or part cat.

Items/possessions: A purple robe (complete with ominous hood!), her "dragonstone" (may or may not just be a geode, nobody's really bothered or cared enough to check), her mouth

Biography: Idoun talks. A lot. She claims to be a millenia-old dragon whose appearance is fated to bring about the end of all things, or a reincarnation thereof. She carries with her a "dragonstone", which she can use to transform herself into the ancient dark dragon, bringer of the apocalypse. She has yet to prove any of these claims to be true. She also tends to belittle "worthless mortals" and generally everyone around her. By almost all accounts, she's a blowhard who just wants all eyes to be on her at all times. As a result, nobody really takes her seriously, although she can prove to be dangerous to keep around (mostly by distracting everyone with her outbursts).

Sorry this is, like, totally bare and not that great. It's... been a long time.

Name:
Haruka Kokonose

Age: 17

Abilities/special traits: Well, he's an artist. Haruka in his current state has no supernatural abilities!

Items/possessions: Just a sketchbook.

Biography: Haruka Kokonose is about as easy-going as it gets. Most people would expect someone with a life endangering illness to be very cautious, worried, downtrodden, sluggish, or pessimistic but Haruka defies just about each and every one of these. No moment illustrates this better than after a brush with death around Christmas time, he merely sits in the hospital, happily eating his food until he gets to leave. He’s excited at the prospect of leaving of course, but he shows no emotional distress towards anything that’s happening to him.

For someone with such a weak constitution, Haruka is extremely enthusiastic and expressive. With a great deal of enthusiasm, he created all of the artwork for their culture festival booth--a shooter video game. During the cultural festival, Haruka can hardly contain his excitement about their booth, gleefully cheering Takane on from the sidelines during her matches. After the cultural festival, Haruka was so excited about Christmas that he took to planning an entire party all by himself. The only time he shows any actual distress is when he worries that the game he created with Kenjirou wouldn’t be any fun, but this is truly a blue moon scenario compared to how he acts most of the time. As excited as he can get, he’s still a generally laid back person when it comes to the things he isn’tinterested in. He’ll often doze off in the middle of class or doodle instead of paying attention.

On top of being positive and wearing a smile as much as he can, Haruka is very earnest and kind. He never judges Takane for her interests or belittles her for it, despite it not being “normal” for a girl to be so into video games by society’s standards. He tries to be as accommodating as possible at all times, even willing to put aside his idea of doing a booth for the culture festival if it would be too much trouble for Takane. In fact, the few times he actually got a bit down on himself were always because he was worried about not being able to make others happy. Haruka is the type of person to always put others before himself.

Haruka, though a bit dense at times, is depicted as being rather receptive of other people’s feelings, shown when he assures Takane that he’ll never hate her, no matter what happens with her. He noticed that she was feeling self-conscious and vulnerable, and therefore did his best to reassure her that everything was fine. But as nice as he can be, Haruka does have a cheeky, playful side that manifests on occasion, especially around Takane. He’ll playfully ask if he should be calling her “Ene” instead of Takane, or even tease her that she isn’t allowed to play games until she finishes her homework, while tantalizingly playing them right in front of her.

Though he doesn’t show it often, Haruka is definitely smart. He’s often shown easily working through his homework and classwork, offering Takane help with her own. He even tutors Ayano for a time. Certainly, he’s booksmart, but that doesn’t exempt him from being somewhat of an airhead at times; or rather, most of the time. Haruka is the kind of person who will try to hard to pet a cat that he’ll accidentally fall into fountain and get his clothes wet. At which point he’ll promptly take all of his clothes off in public save for his underwear instead of just walking around with wet clothes. Even then, he doesn’t pay mind to what others think, never getting embarrassed or flustered even standing half naked in front of Takane. A lot of the time the promise or allure of food is exactly enough to get Haruka to put everything else going on in his brain on the backburner. At one point he even worries Takane half to death by disappearing for a mysteriously long time after the cultural festival in order to collect as much food as possible before the stands closed. Meanwhile, Takane thought he might have been dead.

    Galahad

Manners maketh man. Do you know what that means? Then let me teach you a lesson.

  • tumblr_njtizaLSiC1tc7805o3_500.gif

Name: Harry Hart, or as his codename goes: Galahad

    Age: Unknown. Likely early 40's

Abilities/special traits: An extremely skilled combatant, Harry's full abilites are never disclosed. As a Kingsman agent, he more than likely has many hidden talents and abilities you will not find out about until it is much, much too late.
Despite all of this however, he is still human, and as such has all human limitations such as a vulnerability to bullets.

    Items/possessions:
    Kingsman Suit
: Hart has his personally tailored Kingsman suit, which is bulletproof and resistant to bludgeoning and stabbing attempts, as can be seen during the fight in the church.
Umbrella: Hart carries an umbrella with him that is bulletproof to an extent, being capable of resisting several shots from a firearm during the brawl in the pub. It can also identify the weapon used against it, and can fire a projectile capable of knocking a single man across a room. He also uses it to launch small projectiles with the handle.
Hand Grenade Lighter: Disguised as a lighter, Hart carries this hand grenade with him. He used one during the fight in the church, blowing up several people and dealing collateral damage to the church.
Boot blade: Never actually used, Hart's Kingsman shoes come with a pop-out blade that is poisoned with a very lethal toxin.
Glasses: His glasses are directly connected to both the Kingsman mansion and the briefing room in the tailor shop, allowing people at base to see what is happening.

Biography: Little of his life's story is revealed, but at some point in his time as a Kingsman he infiltrated a middle eastern country, overtaking an enemy compound with his squadron, his knights of the round table. The mission fell to pieces, and one of his trainees died saving his life.
Upon his return to America, he visited the man's family and gave them a gift in recompense for the family's loss. A seal with alongside a catchphrase that would allow them to escape any trouble they might find themselves in.
In between missions for the Kingsman Agency, he awakens inside the Pioneer Camp.

Extras: "Bacon isn't the healthiest breakfast for a working man, but I suppose just this once."

So, is the Scout going to become Galahads eggsy?

So, is the Scout going to become Galahads eggsy?

Oh that would be amazing.

But as much as I want to play the character, I'm planning on changing the character cause I know I'm not going to play him well.

When I feel a little more comfortable with my writing skills I'm going to, but not yet.
