[Midnight Maiden]

-Premise-

A letter, small, neat, and tidy, had come before the incident. Encased in an envelope of white with pinks and reds dancing elegantly along the edges, sealed by a heart-shaped sticker. Upon opening it, it's recipients would find a rather straightforward letter, detailing that they'd been invited to a formal Valentines' Day party, taking place in a fine mansion with guests of all sorts. Three boxes were available to check off as to your answer to the request, the letter stating you should check off your response and send it back. The possible options? Yes, definitely, or absolutely. While there was no address given to send your answer back to, you'd find that as soon as you checked off your answer, a flash of white would occur before everything faded to black….


-Roles-

There are two given roles; Survivors and Traitors, lovers and haters-- sorry, got carried away there.
Traitors will be the main antagonists(though some firmly believe they are doing good), their goal being to eliminate the other players for whatever reason.
Survivors will be the default role, their ultimate goal being to find love survive.

-Powers-

Powers will all remain as they are, as long as they are not gamebreaking, as combat won't be a major focus in this event. If there's any problems when it comes to your character's abilities, I'll be sure to let you know.

-Rules-

1. There will likely be somewhere from 20-35 characters and 2-3 traitors. Each round, the players will be voting on who they believe is a traitor. This will continue until either all traitors are eliminated, or the traitors outnumber the remaining players.
2. Since this game will only be lasting a couple of weeks, activity is a must. You don't need to post all day every day, but at least a post every few days is important. If you can't do this, be warned; you'll have a lot to catch up with!
3. Absolutely no god-modding, metagaming, powerplaying, and/or having Mary/Jerry Sue OC's. If you aren't sure whether your next post is god-modding or not, it's better to ask in the 'General Chat' thread before posting the reply. Better safe than sorry. In addition, if you aren't aware of what these terms mean, here's a little explanation. ((https://www.iwakuroleplay.com/threads/godmodding-and-metagaming.61837/))
4. We completely understand if you're busy or have things going on that you need to deal with or need breaks from the roleplay. It happens to the best of us. Please, though, if you have the chance to at least let us know beforehand you'll be gone, please do. It helps with knowing what needs to be done with characters that are currently with yours.
5. Do your best with spelling and grammar, please. It doesn't have to be perfect, but it needs to be understandable. ((Here's an on-site guide to grammar you can read through: LESSON - Grammarholics Anonymous - Your Grammar Guide!))
6. Hate to say it, but for this event, since it's only going to be a couple of weeks or so long, very few duos allowed. However, any amount of OCs are more than welcome! Keeping in mind the cast should primarily be canons, of course.
7. There will be no ooc killing allowed. This means any disputes or grudges you have against another member can not be brought into this game. In short, this means that you cannot kill someone's character just because you don't like their player. I'll know the difference.
8. This thread will be solely for discussion about this game and for signups. If you wish to chat about anything else, please take it to the General Chat thread(located here: https://www.iwakuroleplay.com/groupdiscussions/general-chat.17/discussion). This keeps the thread from getting cluttered and saves time in accepting applications, as it leaves less messages to dig through. 9. All Iwaku rules apply, obviously.
10. There WILL be character death. Don't be sad if your character gets killed, because it's likely to happen. But don't fret; you'll be revived and able to keep playing after death!
11. If you read all of the rules, please place 'Bubblegum Babe' in your CS somewhere.
12. I definitely recommend having at least one interaction partner selected for the game. This insures your character has someone to interact with for at least the starting period. Though, this is not required!
13. Relationships are hella encouraged, my dudes. They'll also be possible with NPCs. Wink wonk. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
14. This event will be non-canon.

Biography:
Reimu is a shrine maiden who keeps the peace in her homeland of Gensokyo, solving incidents whenever they arise with a mixture of persuasion and firepower. She is also the sworn protector of the Hakurei Barrier; the border between her world and the world outside. Both of her occupations have made Reimu very serious, strong, determined... or as her friends might whisper, "Grumpy." She's known for being a little too stubborn and protective, but beneath her hard exterior, she's actually rather gentle.

Strengths/Abilities:
Reimu is a youkai exterminator, meaning that she possesses the tools of the trade to battle with. A purification rod, twin orbs emblazoned with the yin-yang symbol, and miniature "ofuda" (basically little cards/tags she flings at her enemies). However, outside of battling demon-like creatures or the youkai native to Gensokyo, it's all useless. That doesn't mean she can't fight at all, though. Reimu is naturally quick and agile, with the ability to fly and limited teleportation capabilities that make her versatile in combat.

Weaknesses/Fears:
Reimu suffers from overconfidence in her abilities; a flaw that can be easily abused in an enemy she can't beat. She doesn't like to let other people fight beside her, either, preferring to operate solo. One of her greatest fears is that she won't be able to protect the people she cares about.

...Oh, and she's one hot, sweet bubblegum babe. ;)​

  Iris comes from an alternate, post-apocalyptic modern day Earth. He himself has no recollection of his life before the outbreak, and for all intents and purposes his life really 'began' five years ago when he found himself in a government-controlled lab for "problem" children. It's here that he underwent tests into the nature of his special ability of being able to reach into artwork to bring it's contents to life.
  Throughout the course of the five years he has been here, he's endured bullying from his peers, and an overall deteriorating mental state that's left him exhausted and isolated.
  
  Strengths/Abilities:
  
  • Iris possesses the ability "enter" artwork and otherwise reach into drawings and bring objects from within to life.
  • He's fairly inquisitive, and though he has trouble connecting with his peers, he catches on to new things quickly.

  • Iris is not very mentally stable. He's prone to delusions, panic attacks, and other unpleasant things.

  Biography:
  Miku originates from an alternate, highly-advanced Earth. It is here that humanity has discovered the key to allowing advanced A.Is walk among them in the form of realistic looking androids. She is specifically called a "Vocaloid", a type made specifically for entertaining the masses through song and dance. Built by a company by the name of Crypton Future Media, she is one of the first Vocaloids of Japanese design to make it big, and is now considered the poster child for Vocaloids all over.
  
  Strengths/Abilities:
  
  • As with most mechanical beings, she possesses enhanced strength and dexterity.
  • She can be quite the determined one, and when befriended she's usually willing to go to surprising lengths for the sake of her friends.
  • She is surprisingly adaptable to new situations; provided they aren't harmful to her.
  
  Weaknesses/Fears:
  
  • She's a bit clueless to the realities of human existence.
  • While she's forced to often give people benefit of the doubt due to not having any other choice, Miku holds an underlying cynicism with people's intent towards her. This comes from the self-belief that in the end, she is still just a machine.
  • Her biggest fear is falling out of popularity and into obscurity. Specifically, she fears the idea of being 'decommissioned' if this happens.
  • She really dislikes the idea of enacting violence against people, especially unprovoked.

Pride as it is a strength is also a weakness as it often leads to arrogance which could be his undoing in most situations. Most could also consider his care for Mokuba as a weakness as Kaiba would literally do anything to save his brother.

Whatever powers she has. I'm too lazy to check. Oh yeah, she's also a Grail servant so normal human wounds won't hurt her.


Weaknesses/Fears

That everything she's ever worked for will Be erased, and she'll be forgotten. (Sort of late, hilariously, as Nero was named in damnatio memoriae by the Senate and just erased from history.)

Saber doesn't really understand love, or at least, the romantic kind, as hers was selfish, and when she gave love, she expected something in return.

Prideful. She also hates her mother with a burning passion, as they kept trying to murder each other.
