Final Chapter
"The Signal, Goodbye Realm of Despair"

"Ohhhh?! Noooo waaay..."

The votes on the monitor were clear. Save had been the choice made, earning a heavy, shuddering sigh of relief from Holder. "Good," Stan said, having recovered slightly. He was rubbing at his eyes, obscuring how read and tired they looked. "Jefferson... That prick deserved nothing better."

Junko rubbed her hands together and laughed. "Oh, yes! Spare, huh? I can barely believe it! If you saw people dying one by one with your own eyes... Hope dictates that you act all high-and-mighty and say 'I'm definitely gonna stop it this time!', right!? That's why...

That's why...!"

bmPE2dZ.jpg

"... This is so predictable. You guys did exactly as I thought you would... that's so lame! You're useless! Annoying, annoying, annoying! Why would you do that?! You're supposed to take the option I didn't see coming!"

Junko threw up her hands in exasperation. "Hope is harmony. A just heart, moving toward the light. That is all. Despair is hope's polar opposite. It is messy and confusing. It swallows up love, hatred, and everything else. Because not knowing where you will end up is despair. Despair is even what you cannot predict... And so, guess you found your hope in the end, huh? Boooring!"

"Spare me your psychobabble," Nigel said to Junko. "Easy way out? We're not your fucking social experiment. All this talk about despair... hope always wins in the end now matter how late it comes."

SOgCdak.png

"That's a fail if I've ever seen one! That means out of five trials... you managed to pass three of them! That means you win! The game is over!"

Jude looked around in confusion. "... Really? That's it?"

"That's it! We'll just call the former sheriff up and tell him we found the killer! After that, we'll enjoy a nice rest... just in time for the second game!"

"Second game?!" Diana cried.

"What? You thought you were gonna leave or somethin'...? Upupu... is that supposed to be a joke? You're trapped in the dark place. There's no leaving here!"

Shuten-Douji didn't seem to perturbed by this as she took another swig from her sake plate. "Hehehe... I guess a perfect record is the only thing to try and reach now then..."

Ak3rjDe.png

"Disguise it all you want, we defied your expectations to give in to despair and held on to hope!" Kyoko exclaimed to Monokuma, and by extension, Junko, "We'll play your second game if we have to, as long as it means Holder lives! We'll play it again and again if it means the hope that one day, we'll come back home lives on!"

But then a voice boomed from somewhere outside the room.

"There is salvation... in the light."

The room began to rumble, the wall opposite the hall beginning to crumble and fall away. A bright shining light blinded the group. "I have arrived."

CGqrgPV.jpg

A man in a diving suit floated into the room silently, his diving helmet shrouded in a bright light. Stepping from the wall of light were a group of individuals.

b6ZB0Jd.jpg

One boy held up a hand, extending the light to bounce throughout the room so that no shadow could be cast.

Running to her son, Wanda wrapped her arms around the boy.

nb0Vay5.png

"Oh, Billy! I'm glad you're here. Are you okay? I hope you didn't hurt yourself getting here."

"U-Uhh--" Billy accepted the hug warmly, though he did seem mildly concerned about the hug blowing that cool entrance of his. "... It's fine. I'm fine. I'm just glad you're... here. Glad you're okay."

UhXxajh.png

"Deanna... Jake... so good to see you two again."

GR1RdDE.png

"!"

Kyoko let out an audible gasp when the bespectacled young man, who bore an uncanny resemblance to a certain Ultimate Impostor they had known early on in the event, would appear before the group, seeming to know a few people around. A look of genuine surprise, born out of a hope that was answered no doubt, was visible on her features, as an unexpected person seemed to come to their rescue.

A group of people, along with a certain young man whose name was definitely...

mJTyFx6.png

"... You certainly took your sweet time, Byakuya Togami," Kyoko said with a tone that had been unlike how she usually was over the course of the killing game, her tone being one that indicated a familiar friendliness toward a person whom she was definitely familiar with. The very notion that she had a smile on her face was also quite unlike her. Looked like her prayers were finally being answered.

"I'm disappointed. No warm greeting for me?" She proceeded to inquire half-jokingly, exuding a far more openly confident and eager mien than ever before.

"Hmph." Byakuya regarded Kyoko with a slight glance, giving her no more attention than if he'd just spoken to her moments before. "A lot's happened. What's got you looking so pleased? Lose your cool, Kirigiri?"

Z2VMkPd.jpg

"That's..." Diana stared at Byuakuya, her voice caught in her throat. She had so much to say, but there was just no time say any of it. All Diana could do was hope and pray that this was the end of it all.

Finally, a stern-looking bald man walked out. He nodded toward the mother and son.

"It's good to finally see you in person, Wanda. This is the place it seems? Hmm. Where is Junko?"

Wanda looked to the man, then pointed toward Junko. "Zaheer... she's over there."

Junko turned on the newcomers, looking listless.

"You've arrived sooner than I expected. All thanks to the Witch... Great! The game where you throw my words back at me is over! I guess everyone's happy now, huh? Now that you're here, I guess I have to end my part in this experiment..."

Junko leapt backward into the air so that she was standing in the middle of the podiums. A chair rose up behind her as she delicately sat down upon it. Monokuma leaped into her arms and she waved.

MKX3hnD.png

"I'm just gonna go. It's been fun while it lasted! Your saviors may be here, but the events you experienced won't be forgotten, will they? Just remember, even if the world is happy, it's meaningless if you aren't happy." Junko's chair began to lower into the ground, causing her to slowly disappear from view. "Dear Mother won't be too happy the diver's here. She'll probably try one last thing to make you stay! Good luck~! Let's play again some day!"

Once Junko was gone, Zaheer shook his head. "That Junko Enoshima... she is not the one I wanted."

The diver spoke again. "These are my saviors... and I am the light. I've come to free you from the clutches of the dark presence. Though you've lost along the way, their sacrifices will not be in vain. You held on until the end... and for that reason, my power is at its strongest." He still hovered off the ground, his face hidden behind the diving helmet of light. He raised a hand. "First, two more lost souls must be freed."

As he said this, both Diana and Jude cried out, falling to their knees. "What the... hell...?!"

"What is this...?!"

As they cowered, the roof of the hotel began to give way. The wall of light started to fade, casting shadows over the room and counteracting against Billy's magic. While the group was supposed to be inside the casino, the roof gave way to reveal the group was standing outside. Rain and wind burst through, whipping at them. On the horizon was the unmistakable sight of a tornado.

0g4KSGc.jpg

"We must leave," said the diver, starting to float up into the sky. "Meet me at the lighthouse. There, you may be saved."

However, in the forest that separated the group from the lighthouse beyond emerged two figures. One, the group knew far too well.

UVGSg8C.jpg

The masked man, Jason Voorhees, charged at the group with his machete, ready to impede the group's progress. Their stalker was here to be their final challenge.

Despite Wanda and the newcomers retaining their powers, Jason had a bodyguard of his own with powers. A woman stepped out from the forest after Jason, her eyes glowing white.

oOLluDU.jpg

"Another lost soul."

"That is not the Korra I know," Zaheer muttered. The woman's hands glowed, balls of fire flying at Zaheer, Billy, and Wanda moments later. They would have their hands full for the moment, leaving everyone else at the mercy of Jason.

Finally, a girl stood alone off in the distance. Even with the rain falling down around her, she stood as still as a statue.

"Sorry about that, Enoshima Junko, Morikubo... thought that sparing him was the option you didn't see coming. You might want to clarify it with us. J- just to be sure... To be honest, Morikubo thought that everyone would want to lynch Detective Holder. But... Morikubo thought wrong too."

Nevertheless, the journey neared its end as the sore losers retreated. Yeesh.

"The opposite, actually," Nono smiles at the odd bespectacled man while displaying her signature trait - 0 eye contact. "It has been a long game, and Morikubo too needs to see some friends she hasn't seen in these few days."

Well, it was time to head out. Nono tugs Kyoko's sleeve.

"Before we go home," Nono says to her friends, "Morikubo was thinking that we should get to know-"

Before the completion of this sentence, the beastly Jason Horvees appears, urging the writer of this post to, for the umpteenth time, slam this audio clip that depicts screams of fear on this post.

Nono then unleashes Shane's pistol from her pocket. Aiming at the Chainsaw-wielding masked man, Nono was shivering.

Seeing that this vote had been for naught this entire time from what she could see, Lapis groaned as she stood up, slowly watching everything unravel before them all. With more company, ally and enemy, it was becoming definite that this was the last stretch... for whatever they could get at the end. Maybe this could be considered a miracle, but with her earlier standing point, Lapis didn't see any reason to think that way anymore, at least not here... at least when she still had unfinished business to do.

Even if she could be prone to dying here, Lapis saw that this was another encounter with Jason Voorhees, a rather interested grin on her face. She may not be able to pull the same tricks such as last time she had run into the undead serial killer, but she still took a few steps forward, towards Jason.

Wanda looked to the man, then pointed toward Junko. "Zaheer... she's over there."

Nevertheless, the journey neared its end as the sore losers retreated. Yeesh.

Nono hides behind Kyoko in the presence of the odd new man.

"L- let's go!"

@Atomyk @Verite

Well that was...something. All that fighting and feuding over the vote, and in the end it seemed not to matter at all! Or, did it? After all, Holder was still alive. And so was Bya-oh no. The real Byakuya, not the imposter. And he was skinny as a rail, not fit for sumo! What a shame.

Honda ducked down as the storm was underway, but was more than happy to start for that lighthouse. Until, of course, seeing their old buddy Jason. Damn it! All their hard work to stay on, and this bastard rears his ugly mug?! Honda had had enough!! "You're not poofing your way outta this fight, chump!!"

His shibatsu salt, his personal item from home, he finally put to good use. If there was one thing this hellhole needed, it was purification. "You've caused us all enough grief!! Our ticket out of here is just behind you, buddy, and I won't let you keep anyone from it!!!"

That said, Honda charged for Jason, going in to give him a good kick to the gut. "Grab that machete! Without it he's easier to take down!!"

"Ryoukai, Honda-san!" So this was it. Take down these two opponents, and they could leave. Nimbly avoiding Morikubo's shots and running past Honda and the others, he lunged in after, hoping to take advantage of them. Coming in at the fastest speeds he could muster (though still quite fast, it felt like running through molasses to the cyborg), Genji went to bring his leg down into a devastating axe kick onto the hopefully distracted serial killer's shoulder blade. Genji's aim was to shatter his ability to even move his sword arm. "Kare no me o nerae, Nono-chan!" Aim for his eyes!

As Genji lashed out again, this time trying to shatter Jason's wrist for a more direct attempt to disarm him. This was round two, and he was going all out. Each strike hit like a truck, the simple fact that his fists were made of metal making the damage more like that of a hammer blow than a normal strike. Each movement made the serial killer's own, methodical stance seem like he was moving in slow motion. Genji was prepared to tank a strike or two, as well. "You're mine!"

It was locked in stone.

Their final votes had been cast and now it was time to find out if they had made the right decision or not. Zinnia felt her knees tremble, not out of anxiety, but for anticipation of what was to come. She had to use her free hand to grasp onto her podium in order to keep herself standing, while the other one tightly clung to Jack's hand. She knew that he didn't favor her, but the lorekeeper still whispered a silent prayer to Lord Rayquaza that he would help all of them pull through this.

As Zinnia figured, the fact they saved Holder resulted in a failure. But, apparently, they had won three out of the five trials they participated in which resulted in... a win? Okay, so it seemed they had won the entire game. Just before Zinnia could jump and cheer for joy, however, the lorekeeper heard something unbelievable come from Monokuma.

0hi5dk4.png

"What the-- Hey! You said after this trial was over we'd be finished! You never said anything about a second game! You stupid bear, I aught to wring your little--"

The lorekeeper hadn't a chance to think further when the room around them began to rumble. One of the walls toppled into rubble and a group of allies appeared before them. Zinnia didn't know any of them, but a small smile crossed her lips when she saw Wanda hug her son. "Great, they're here just in time for the "second game" we're being forced to--"

Zinnia cut herself off, her back straightening as she sensed something while the others were talking. A serious look overtook her features. "It's coming..." The draconid could sense a horrifying storm brewing in the distance.

Only moments later, the roof of the casino began to cave in on them and untamed winds of high speed whipped against her body. The podium in front of her blew away like a napkin, flying between herself and Jack--causing their interlocked hands to be broken apart. Zinnia placed a hand over her red eyes and squinted, suddenly very aware of a large chunk of rubble heading right for them! Without even a second thought, Zinnia gave Jack the most powerful shove she could muster to make sure he was out of harms way by the time the rubble buried her alive.

H-Had to... keep you... safe...

Then it all went dark.

dHzZVPR.jpg

A pair of golden brown orbs could barely be seen through the dark, stormy air if one were to look hard enough. The small-framed, sentient female containing these orbs scarcely moved. If one could see her, the only way they could tell her apart from a statue was that the malevolent winds tossed her ragged Japanese school uniform. Locks of thistle colored hair from her head would blow over her eyelashes and she was soaked by the cold rain, yet she still did not blink or move.

The small android watched the others from afar, analyzing her best course of action. Once trapped by the dark place Yuki Nagato had risen again, this time as a savior of light. She would do whatever it took to free the others, and herself. She had been absent from space time upon the plane which Haruhi Suzumiya dwelled for far too long. She needed to return to either continue her mission or...

...to accept her punishment for having been absent for such an extended period of time.

"Syncing in progress," she mumbled under her breath before seconds later adding, "Link successful. Contact with the Data Integration Thought Entity established. Fetching calculations for emergency mode..."

tumblr_nv5b03tDTu1u7vnzfo1_500.gif

The raging, stormy whirlwind continued to fester in the background when Zinnia finally came to. She groaned and squirmed under the rubble, not having to work as hard as she had hoped to escape. The wind was enough to uncover some of the wreckage so that she could climb free. Once she stood out of the wreckage, bits of pain radiated through her bodies like echoes. She wasn't sure exactly where she had been injured, but she didn't have time to figure it out either.

Placing a hand against her forehead to keep her soaked bangs out of her eyes, Zinnia squinted and looked around. It was so dark and stormy that she was as blind as a bat in sunlight! She couldn't see Jack around anywhere at the moment, but prayed that he and the others were safe.

But what would be her next plan of action be?

Zinnia knew she needed to make it to the lighthouse. The diver told them it was where they'd be safe. Taking in a deep breath, Zinnia began to slowly make her way for the lighthouse, a knot forming in her gut as she approached the forest. It didn't matter how dark or difficult it was to see, Zinnia could sense the monster that horrified her a mile away.

Jason Voorhees was back.

Zinnia let out a scream loud enough for all those around her to hear, despite how loud the storm was. She grabbed both sides of her head and trembled, taking a few steps back while the others attempted to attacked the masked-man.

N-No... not him again! Please, anything but him! I-I can't take this anymore. I-I've fought him so many times. I-I can't fight him this time. He'll kill me for sure! I won't even be able to move or struggle!

"Fetching failed," the girl formerly known as Minori Chihara stated. She had been unable to entirely sync with the Entity and tap into her abilities. She had little time to figure out the problem before a loud scream erupted from the woods. Nagato walked at a brisk, mechanical pace toward the others, stopping when she arrived at the scene of the Jason battle. The others seemed to be fairing well, but Zinnia--frozen in fear--wouldn't even move to avoid natural dangers caused by the storm.

Nagato walked behind Zinnia, issuing a single command.

1265658

"Move."

When she failed to respond, the android stepped forward and grabbed hold of a tree heading for the draconid that had been blown over by the storm, protecting her from getting hit. It was then that Yuki threw the tree at Jason, in order to aid the others by distracting him so they could attack. Meanwhile, Zinnia stood still--baffled by the strange girl who had just rescued her.

One boy held up a hand, extending the light to bounce throughout the room so that no shadow could be cast.

Running to her son, Wanda wrapped her arms around the boy.

"... Something like that," Kyoko nodded to Byakuya, giving a knowing smile in his direction, "Though I suppose we have more pressing matters to attend to before we can discuss more, don't we?"

When the rest of the events would unfold, including the arrival of the masked slasher, along with some unfamiliar faces, most of which she could only hope were friendly, Kyoko would cease the festivities for now, staying back for the time being, considering she'd be useless in any sort of fight, especially against the opponents like the ones before them.

"Eyes... eyes... AHA!"

Nono shivered and proceeded to aim for Jason's eyes next. There were several bullets emitted from Shane's gun. Nono's aim was decent enough for most of the shots to land around Jason's face area.

Much like a hunter ready to kill a wolf, Nono was certainly doing her best not to hold back, until...

"AH! Oh... Morikubo was a little careless there..."

It appeared that Nono's handbones were dislodged due to one shot having her hands in the wrong position. A little slip in the trigger discipline rulebook, one might suggest.

Even with the rain falling down around her, she stood as still as a statue.

... And so, it seemed that saving Holder was the right answer... He had almost forgotten about the number of succeeded trials which further tipped this whole thing in their favor. He wasn't sure if it was his words, or Kyoko's, or both that swayed the votes, but in either case... Despite Junko's claim that they were of course, being predictable, as soon as she mentioned the detail that they had chosen hope over despair, Jack Frost smiled.

... This whole time, he had been following his gut instinct, and, for once... He was glad to have been right... With the help of the others who had decided to vote to save Holder, it seemed that the tides had turned. He didn't care if Monokuma was about to thrust them into another game like this one, as now he knew how to fight the despair, and unlike before... Hope wasn't going to be taken from him so easily.

...

And then, a strange Diver arrived, a floating figure in a diving suit, filled with light... And it seemed that he wasn't alone; he had brought saviors, to even out the battle. It looks like they were faced with two enemies; a strange woman with some icnredible powers, that he had no hopes of countering in his current state, and a familiar face... Jason.

Looks like the dead don't rest easy here... And despite what had happened, Jason was still alive, for one last fight... But unlike before, Jack Frost was no longer afraid, he brandished his staff menacingly as he prepared to meet the undead man head on. However, seeing that others were already fighting Jason, he decided to look around for a better weapon in the meantime.

As much as he liked his staff, it wasn't going to do him much good if it was broken by the likes of Jason... Despite the fact that Jack Frost wasn't going to be used to handling a gun, or whatever he might find around, he realized his best shot at Jason (no pun intended) was to find himself a more effective weapon than his staff...

@Atomyk @Verite @Josh M @Jeremi @Crow @Gummi Bunnies @LuckycoolHawk9 @Yun Lee @The Tactician @BarrenThin
The samurai's eyes widened in horror as he felt her presence slipping from her hand and the shove as rubble fell around them. That terrifying cut into his heart only grew deeper as Zinnia seemed to be crushed by the falling debris, his mind suddenly aware of the circumstances once again. Without a moment's hesitation, he fell to his knees, digging away at the mound that covered her, allowing only a single prayer to echo in his mind as he worked.

Allow her to be without injury, to still draw breath, I beg of you...

Finally, of a few agonizing moments of fearful searching, his efforts bore fruit as the dragon master stirred and rose from the stone tomb. Through the storm's blasting torrent, hope began to reignite in his eyes as he helped her up, thanking Susanoo for his momentary mercy in his fury. However, his gratitude was interrupted as Zinnia's voice howled out and his eyes took in the sight of the creature he had grown to utterly despise over the course of their trials here.

"You again...""

He took a step forward, following after the strange girl who could seemingly lift trees with ease. Determination shined bright in his expression as he approached the beast, and with only one last command to Zinnia, he charged forward to begin his battle with Jason.

"Remain calm, Zinnia. This will only take a few moments."

@Klutzy Ninja Kitty @Chewy Rabbits @Atomyk

Even if she could be prone to dying here, Lapis saw that this was another encounter with Jason Voorhees, a rather interested grin on her face. She may not be able to pull the same tricks such as last time she had run into the undead serial killer, but she still took a few steps forward, towards Jason.

tumblr_o03agy18Ne1v3qowuo9_100.png

"Well... third time's the charm... then what are we waiting for? Try. Your. Worst."
Stiles had enough of this want to be killer. He seemed intent on keeping them here and Stiles was done with that beyond all belief. " Hey, hockey mask, let's play some baseball," he said, equipping his baseball bat and swinging at Jason.
14.gif

His shibatsu salt, his personal item from home, he finally put to good use. If there was one thing this hellhole needed, it was purification. "You've caused us all enough grief!! Our ticket out of here is just behind you, buddy, and I won't let you keep anyone from it!!!"

That said, Honda charged for Jason, going in to give him a good kick to the gut. "Grab that machete! Without it he's easier to take down!!"

All the destruction that had been brought about brought a sense of familiarity to Jason. It was how he felt everytime he walked through Crystal Lake's bloodied grounds. Death and carnage just seemed to follow the 6'4 tall zombie wherever he roamed. Drawing his machete from it's sheath, Jason lurched forward. No more retreating, these sinners died here and now. The bat Stilles swung was promptly caught and Stilles received a nice boot to the chest.

As Honda came leaping in with a kick, Jason grabbed hold of the sumo's ankle. Lifting Honda above his head, Jason sought to smash him down onto the ground before roughly tossing him away. Genji's attacks had far more success however. The zombie's shoulder fractured right down the middle as Genji struck it. The machete fell from Jason's hand and collapsed to the ground as Jason idly wondered how that happened.

But he wasn't going to be stopped this time. Attempting to shrug off the rest of Genji's hits as best as he could, Jason lashed out with his other hand. Seeking to smash Genji upside the head and knock him away so he could readjust his arm. Before Jason got any kind of chance to do however, he was suddenly sent flying back with a tree atop him. The tree's massive trunk sat atop Jason's chest as he dug his fingers into it and rolled it off to the side as he staggered to his feet.

Despite Wanda and the newcomers retaining their powers, Jason had a bodyguard of his own with powers. A woman stepped out from the forest after Jason, her eyes glowing white.

The knight stood, unmoving even as rubble impacted against his armour, shattering apart as it thudded against the thick metal. He had his eyes locked firmly onto the figure of the machete wielding monster, he was far too focused on the impending danger to care about a few loose bricks or roof tiles.

"I should have known he would return." he growls, clenching his fists as he turns back toward Corrin, Sledge and Tomoko "Get to the lighthouse."

Without another word, the hulking knight begins moving forward once more. Feeling the rain run down his face in small rivulet, he could not help but think of his battle with the Sodden Knight.
For the first time in years, he was afraid of the battle he knew laid ahead. The fear of death had not crossed his mind for many years, but it had clawed at the doors of his mind the whole time.

"I'm done running." Darv growls as he removes his cloak, letting it fall to the dirt behind him "I've been dead for all these years. It's time I lived again!"

Roaring with a strength he had not felt course through his veins for many a moon, he charges toward Jason, aiming to tackle him and pin him to one of the nearby trees, holding him in place. If he managed to succeed, he'd attempt to follow it up with a mighty headbutt

Honda's attack was over before he could even land it. Jason was damn strong, and Honda was too, but unfortunately not nearly as strong as usual. Even worse? Jason's throw slammed Honda into a tree, before he fell to the floor in a defeated heap.

But what that soulless pile of mist didn't seem to understand was that Honda wasn't giving up. They'd come so far, lost so many, sacrificed so much! This monster would never take that from them, not as long as there was a breathe left in Edmond Honda's body!!!

210444969000201.jpg

Slowly getting back up, pain was ignored as Honda looked through the storm for his foe. It looked like Darv was taking care of him, good! In the meantime...something on the ground caught the sumo's attention. The machete!! Without that, all Jason had was strength. If he could just keep him unarmed...

"DOSUKOOOOOOOIIIIIIII!!!!!!"

Staggering at first, Honda found his momentum and made a mad dash for the machete. If successful in picking it up, he would keep distance between him and Jason, staying aware of surroundings-that bastard could poof anywhere, after all.

As the battle raged on, the tornado on the horizon steadily approached. With the winds picking up, the weaker members of the group would find their movement to be heavily impeded by the current. Debris carried by the tornado fell from the sky to rain down on the group. "What the fuck--!" A log crashed to the ground, tumbling across the grass to slam into Jamie, killing him.

"I want to protect themIneedtoprotectthem--"

From Billy's hands shot out a blue energy that moved to form a high magical barrier that protected the majority of the group from "Korra" on their side of the battlefield and the falling debris from above. It also had the added benefit of blocking the winds somewhat.

"They're not my friends," Byakuya said, picking up Diana and throwing her over his shoulders. "Just acquaintances with which... I have to make something up for." He gave Kyoko the slightest of glances, just enough for her to be able to recognize there was something behind them she would have seldom seen before from Byakuya Togami. Whatever his experiences in the dark place had been, they had affected him in a manner that the first mutual killing game they had participated in had somehow not.

Byakuya gestured to Jude, who had also fallen unconscious. "I'll need you to take him."

But it would be too late, for one of Korra's attacks would break through Billy's barrier and fly toward Jude. Billy and Wanda both moved to block the attack somehow, but their magic would be too weak from the dark presence's influence to stop it. There was no doubt that Jude would be struck.

... If not for his guardian angel.

zFuUenn.jpg

A woman descended from above, glowing brightly. She landed between Jude and the magic attack, throwing out a magical attack of her own out in front of her to block the energy. "Byakuya, Billy, Zaheer, sorry I'm late."

The woman then turned around, scooping up Jude into her arms and gently moving him so that she was taking him for a piggyback ride. He stirred awake, opening his eyes just enough to take in his savior. "Milla...? Milla... It's hazy, but somehow, I knew you'd come..."

"Yes, Jude," the woman named Milla said, backing up to join Byakuya, Kyoko, and the others. "You're safe now. What's our plan of action?" She said the question to Byakuya, who gave the battle before them a wary look over.

"... Wait for this to clear, then make a run for it."

A little slip in the trigger discipline rulebook, one might suggest.

She left the enemies to the others for the time being, but if one were to attack her or her allies seemed to be struggling Yuki did intend to step in.

Genji's head jerked at the punch. Ordinarily, it would have even faced him, but his armor wasn't up to scratch right now. Still, the blow was more painful than it was damaging. "Kuso!" He readied himself to jump back into the fight just as a tree sent the serial killer flying. He let Honda grab the machete, then flanked around Darv. To provide support His fist flew straight at Jason's jaw, throwing all of his strength into the punch.

Somehow, Zinnia's advice reach Jack's ears through the howling winds, setting his goal for the moment. With a quick dash around him to avoid any retaliation the massive revenant might deliver, the samurai's hand reached out the top of the hockey mask to yank it off. The other hand was not idle, drawing back and punching the giant in the chest in order to further distract him. Hopefully, this would be enough to momentarily confuse the killer to allow Zinnia's plot to succeed.
