For now, it appeared that the two "anomalies" were unaware of the two Servants watching over them, as they continued their conversation as normal...

"So did I do go back there? Those meanie Players really wanted to cheat and ruin the Witch's Game, but I roughed them up before heading back to mommy!"

"You did good, Chen. Mother and Bernkastel would be impressed by how you're adapting to our new tasks..."

So these two were working with this "Mother" character and Bernkastel... No wonder they were considered the two anomalies that Willard had detected earlier.

@Gen. Gwazi Senpai
So whoever these two were, they're helping with the murder of players. Or at least preventing them from escaping.
Well, they could sit around and listen more, but this risked their mother walking in and saving them.
So an offence was going to be required now.

As to make sure they wouldn't escape, Iskander used his Reality Marble, trapping the two and moving them to the desert plain where they'd be vulnerable and without aid.
Gilgamesh not giving the girls even a second to realize what was happening before raining his Gates of Babylon on them.
As he did this he declared "You dare work to keep such a cowardly game in play!? That crime can only be punished by death itself!".

@The Great Detective

deep apologies for sit-post, but...)

Sorey and Mikleo Tag along, Horrified again at the sight of more murder, yet still without their equipment.

Sorey: "This is strange.....Murders are occuring, yet I can't feel the Malevolence that I KNOW is here....You Think this Witch is a Hellion, and that the missing flames of Purification are something she is causing?"

Mikleo: "That's a rather disturbing thought...Couldn't it just be that Lailah isn't here?"

Sorey: "I wish I knew...." *Sigh*

@Mari @Mighty Roman

Again, Mark paid almost no mind to the obviously supernatural powers being used before his eyes. Hallucinations had been so commonplace and so realistic in the late stages of the Flare...this was nothing. He found himself in some sort of park, heavy with foliage, crates to one side, some sort of cannon to the other. Strange. The Creator Witch's voice rang through his head, relaying his instructions. Explosives, huh? This Witch didn't seem all that stable, to be completely honest, but that didn't matter right now. All that mattered was getting back.

Lowering himself to a crouch, Mark made his way to the pile of crates. He guessed this was where they'd be, and after all, what's a cannon without explosives? Thankfully, all his prior sneaking about near bandits, murderers, cultists, and lunatics had really helped him hone his stealth skills. Hopefully they'd pull through...

The crates all happened to be closed shut... tightly. There wasn't any chance he would get to open them up with his bare hands, and possibly alert the supposed murder victim for this task. Though, if looked upon closely by Mark, there was a little piece of metal sticking out from under the crates... what was that all about?

@Forrest

"Wah! Protect me, Ran!" Chen yelped as she hurried along where she would be hiding behind the kitsune.

tumblr_inline_nbi36n1wOq1sju14e.jpg

"Don't you have some spare spell cards on you? ... tch, never mind," Ran shot a look towards the smaller girl before realizing that they were already being attacked. A card held in-between the fingers of Ran, she recited the spell card's name as fast as she could.

"Fox-Tanuki Youkai Laser!"

Red and blue blasts of energy and even lasers littered the area around Ran and Chen, protecting them from the incoming projectiles from the Gate of Babylon, and also sending some of those magic blasts at the two Servants.

As many had confirmed their votes, time began still and alter around them, and this meant that Beatrice was going to start up another execution once more. Next moment they all knew, they were all present in the Golden Land, and with Crono singled out from everyone else.

By the phrasing of "singled out," it was more like Crono was put into a different plane of reality aside from everyone else. He couldn't tell how everyone was reacting to this, as if everyone were viewing this incoming execution from something like a one-sided mirror. A twisted display for all to see, Crono only saw the endless void of black.

Green eyes.

Eyes of countless felines.

Those eyes surrounded him from all angles and corners. In response, he readied himself to fend off the threat, but of course, the odds of him winning this were terribly slim, and it would take only a miracle to resolve the problem. One by one, those eyes leap forward towards him, each feline taking their turns pouncing onto the poor unfortunate boy.

It endlessly went on, and soon enough, Crono couldn't be seen by the people watching. Not even heard with a little yelp of something kind, but with how those supposed feline threats acted towards the voted one out, it was disturbing but true to assume that Crono was devoured limb from limb, organ from organ, bone from bone... by those demonic feline spawns from hell.

As the magic-powered projection that showcased this horrific scene to you all began to close, a small pouch with a note attached to it fell to the ground, along with what could be assumed to be Crono's envelope... the invitation to this Game. Once the projection was gone, the Golden Witch would make her appearance, and unlike the times before, she gave no expression of Witch-like laughter or even that signature sneer of hers.

eOWCQGn.png

"...Ignoring the fact that this Round's Traitor, which was Mettaton, had not been voted out, you successfully voted out the Maestro. From the combined efforts of the clues' interpretations... and the detective's investigations, Crono is indeed this Game's Maestro. Despite my right hand being eliminated, the Game will still proceed as normal until it's planned end. From now on, I'll be selecting the set of Traitors."

Beatrice still didn't change her attitude, probably from the fact that her trusted right hand had gotten voted out. Before sending everyone else back to the Rokkenjima island, despite the current typhoon that was still held at bay, the Golden Witch gave a few more words to share with her Game's Players.

tumblr_inline_n0oub5LemA1rfjfkn.png

"If you wish to continue the Game and not die to the typhoon that is currently taking place on the island of Rokkenjima, perform the Sachiko Ever After charm. Someone in the group must know of it."

With that said, everyone would feel themselves being transferred back to the front of the Kuwadorian mansion's fencing, and just at the moment they would see Izayoi's body disappear in a cluster of golden butterflies. For now, they had some time before the typhoon would blow over Shannon's barrier... and to include that, the note and pouch that contained that charm, which was whatever was left of Crono, rested on the ground, waiting for someone to pick it up.

Though, all current Players with their envelopes would see another message from Beatrice appear, regarding the current karma score...

Before the execution Lucina could only give Buu a blank stare. She couldn't understand his logic.

Then, at the sight of the execution beginning, Lucina would do her best to block Deedee's view and if possible cover ears if anything could be heard. She would look over her shoulder at the execution until it ended. Once Beatrice arrived she would remove her hands from the little girl's ears so she could hear what Beatrice had to say and moved so the girl could see the Witch as she spoke. Lucina stood by the girl's side with a frown on her face.

What was this "Sachiko Ever After Charm" the Witch spoke of?

DIO could only smile in admiration of Beatrice's creativity as he watched Crono be swallowed and be consumed by the hellspawns. However, DIO raised an eyebrow as the charm fell onto the ground and was about to react when they were all transported back onto the island.
Once DIO realized where he was, he muttered to Pucci, "One moment..." Before racing over to the charm.
Once he was within 5 meters, The World sprouted from him, finally able to leave his body.
DIO smirked, having taken the "First Napkin" as The World clutched the note and charm tightly.
"Well?" He asked them all. "That name seem familiar to anyone?"

As the scoreboard materialized before them, a glowing smile of bliss took over Morgan as she realized what the detectives had just done by having them vote for Crono. Infinite... We're going to win... They're saved, I don't have to worry anymore! It didn't matter if Crono had to be executed to achieve this victory, not when it meant her precious people were guaranteed to be safe at the end now. Hope had been restored in her mind, never-ending in the face of another round.

All they had to do now, to be free of this game, was to punish Beatrice. Today was a glorious day.

"Thank you, Ilona-chan~!" Without any other warning, Morgan had essentially tackled Ilona in her attempt to hug her, clearly overtaken by the joy she felt, "I know I already said it, but you and the detectives... You're the absolute best, no doubt about it!"

The young tactician also waved Deedee over to her in her excitement, "We got them, Deedee, we got them!"

"Well, someone is quite excited for a player in a Murder Game..." Robin chuckled as he observed Morgan.

"Well?" He asked them all. "That name seem familiar to anyone?"
The note that was left with the charm was then picked up by DIO. It seemed that Crono had written this note as if he were expecting his own execution to occur, and it has as follows:

"I know I don't seem like such a good person to most of you, but, just know that your choices each round make bigger impacts than they may seem. If you could please at least fullfill one little task I'm going to ask of you... You'll have my thanks, even if I'll be... Gone. Please, if you ever run into someone named "Yuka", bring her the letter that came with this note, along with the charm I had been meaning to give her. It's the closest I could possibly come to talking to her right now. - Crono"

And there lies the purpose towards the charm and the envelope that was left behind. Despite Crono's role as the Maestro, it sounded like he had the plans to meet up with a person named "Yuka."

"... these pets of the Witch of Miracles is not ENDLESS. With their owner not present, it is possible to eliminate them all before Bernkastel will take ACTION. If you are the type to be bored so easily, go ahead and take one of THESE. A Kakera should be able to take you to where the rest of our alliance is PRESENT."

Dlanor insisted that if Izayoi was going to be much use, she figured that sending him over to the others could work for now. The youth-like murder doll tossed over a blue crystal, similar to the Kakera that was given to the detectives. Unfortunately, it seemed like the original Kakera that was given to the detectives had been shattered, so Izayoi didn't have much like in trying to communicate with the other present detectives that were still in the Game.

Heather gave a sigh of relief... at least they got rid of Beatrice's lackey. Mettaton was the traitor, so Heather would watch him/her closely... two robots down, now hopefully this game would come to a close soon with no more deaths, but she highly doubted that. When she was transported back to the mansion, Heather gave a irritated scream... this being moved around without agreeing to it was annoying. "What or who is this Sachiko? Seeing that she might as well assist him with what there was to come, the Death Inquisitor used up the rest of her Red Key's power to blast down the rest of the demonic cats, giving them a window of time to effectively escape the area.

With a small trigger to the Kakeras that she and Izayoi held, both of them were instantly transported into the hideout that Dlanor and her allies had in the Metaworld, and they just happened to drop by with Ange and Featherine observing the re-enacted murder scene that Mark was in the middle of.

Speaking of Featherine, she was quite busy with her attention focused onto the projection of the re-enacted murder scene taking place, and she didn't even notice that there was someone new here.

After that execution, Crono would feel himself drifting away to a secluded place. It wasn't the Metaworld. It wasn't the Golden Land. It wasn't even oblivion.

He found himself seated in a small garden, where the roses were wilting and dying... Across the metal-grated table from him, an odd woman sat there, reading a book to herself and paying no mind to him as if she never realized he were there in the first place.

"Hold ON."

"..."

Dlanor wasn't much of a talker, but with that type of look, Ange had the feeling that the girl wanted to know what was going on since she were out retrieving Izayoi from oblivion.

Beatrice - 1 / Players - ∞
Hm. And just like that, they'd won the game. They still had to put up with this Witch's nonsense, apparently, but they'd guaranteed themselves the victory.

"Well, well. It seems the tables have turned just a little bit, hm?" Just as expected, for Hazama. In his mind, there was no way he was going to lose to that gloaty bitch, and this just sealed the deal. But as she still seemed to have power over them, he wouldn't further antagonize her just yet. No, instead when the tables had turned fully, then he'd make her suffer for making him go through this inane game.

tumblr_inline_ndv7asMppJ1r79yns.png

"Yes, we saved everyone now! We did it!"

She hadn't expected for them to win quite so early, but she had no complaints about that. Everything was going to turn out alright now, and that was what mattered.

With celebrations/silent gloating completed, the two walked over to the note DIO held. Some Shachiko Ever After Charm or something was what they needed to stay alive, right? Maybe that was it?

"What'd you find there?"

@DBZ7 @The Great Detective

DIO read the note and tossed it to the Erika girl, as it had no use to him and it seemed obvious that the charm was what was of value.
He continued to wait for a response from the group as The World held the charm in its fist.

"Just some leftovers from our recently executed Maestro. Interesting enough that he had some sort of thing to give to a certain someone... not like that person is around at the moment, but if he wanted to do such a thing anyways, I don't see why he decided to become Beatrice's Maestro in the first place."

Erika shrugged as she finished reading the note in time to answer Yuna's curiosities.

"... Featherine, may we see the current happenings on the Gameboard?" Ange gave this blunt request, to which the Creator Witch simply conjured up a projected field that showed what has happened so far since Izayoi's death. Clearly it shows the events that lead up to present time, such as everyone voting for Mettaton first, and then with Ilona's confirmation on the note Izayoi left behind, the voting was turned over and resulted with Crono's execution.

@DapperDogman

"You need not worry. This is my daughter Lucina.."

"His time traveling daughter. It's why they almost look the same age..." Henry chimed in to explain being sure to hide that severed hand so Deedee couldn't see it.

This caught both Henry and Chrom off guard as they glanced at Ilona. "You haven't given me a reason not to trust you yet....So I shall trust you..." Chrom spoke placing his and Henry's vote on Crono.

@Lizzy @Hospes @The Great Detective @Klutzy Ninja Kitty
Lucina nodded to confirm both statements as she gave Deedee a small smile.

"The three of us shall do our best to keep you safe, little one...." She then glanced to Buu curiously. She never played Patty Cake back home so she wasn't to sure what he had been trying to do. She decided not to question it.

After Ilona said what she needed, Lucina put a bit of thought into it before coming to the conclusion of switching her vote to Crono.

@Bomb @The Tactician @Crimson Spartan @CrunchyCHEEZIT @Wedge Antilles @Atomyk @Verite @Hospes @C.T. @Cromartie Sarkissian

It was quite obvious that Deedee understood what Lucina, Henry, and Chrom were telling her. After all, she had heard all of those things before. Mark, Trina, Lana and Alec... They'd all said the same things. But at what cost? Would they die trying to do this, just like Mark and the others? Would they be wounded or permanently damaged? Deedee didn't know, but she hoped none of that would happen. The child didn't want to lose any more of the few people that treated her decently. She didn't want to lose anyone else..

The thought was terrifying, and the girl was still scared out of her mind.. But something had occurred to her. This wasn't what Mark, Trina, Lana and Alec would've wanted her to act like. They would've wanted her to be brave, wouldn't they? They wouldn't want her sad or scared or crying, and neither would her parents or brothers. With the exception of Ricky, who still was excruciatingly painful to think about. She had grown up a hell of a lot since the Flares hit... And it was damn well time to show it, more than ever.

For Mark and Trina.

Silently, the girl wiped at her eyes, trying her hardest to make the tears stop. She was of no use when she was being a crying, terrified, and broken little mess. She was nothing more than a liability. So she just had to force herself to put her shattered pieces back together for just a little while.. Just until I'm dead or..- Dead or what? She didn't have a home anymore, did she? All she had was that scary, empty little room back in that odd facility with the scary people that renamed her. But she supposed it didn't matter. All she knew was she had to keep herself together for the sake of the people she cared about - at least until she wasn't around them anymore.

Then she could fall apart again. Or, maybe she could just figure out some way to keep herself together, even once she was alone again. She certainly hoped she could.

There was a new fire to the girl's eyes, now, replacing the hollow and sorrowful look that hadn't left her eyes since the group had found Mark's corpse. A fire that made the child seem ten years older and infinitely braver. "...Don't worry about me," she finally spoke, voice remaining as gentle and soft as it had the few other times she'd spoken.
Sarah wasn't aware that this was some kind of big child here. She looked at Billy, who had followed her when she went to try to calm the big child down. It seemed to work, but Sarah didn't feel right playing some game with Buu. It wasn't her thing, and by his words, Billy didn't seem like he tagged along to play either.

There was one candidate among them, in Sarah's mind. Deedee, the crying girl. Maybe they would keep each other from crying. She got her attention.

"No! That mean girl! Mean girl no play with Buu! Mean girl step on Buu's dreams!" Buu began to scream even louder, so loud that everyone in the city, no, country, could hear him. The steam cloud reached to a size only rivalled by the size of the Majin's massive stomach! It was almost as if...it was forming arms.....
"Grrrrrrhhhh!!!!!!! Buu no like mean people!"

The young tactician also waved Deedee over to her in her excitement, "We got them, Deedee, we got them!"

tumblr_inline_nifrcq1tPu1sfvecc.jpg

"Well, someone is quite excited for a player in a Murder Game..." Robin chuckled as he observed Morgan.

@Bomb @Klutzy Ninja Kitty @The Silver Paladin @Hospes

Well. Buu crying because of her now weighed heavily on her little shoulders. She managed to keep from letting any sadness over this show through, but when Buu started yelling and calling her 'mean girl'... Her shoulders slumped, and she faltered. Tears threatened to form in her eyes again, but she was obviously trying her best not to let them. "..The mean people, in the scary basement. They sang," she explained, voice much softer for a moment. She clearly was trying to explain her reasoning for disliking this 'patty cake' game, but there was no action she could use to explain, and she didn't exactly enjoy talking. Especially not about her past.

Regardless, the girl tried her best to regain her composure with a small sniffle, trying hard not to tear up. Luckily, the group of people around her seemed to obscure her view of the execution... Because otherwise, her work probably would've been for nothing.

So, needless to say, the distraction of Morgan waving at her and speaking to her was welcome.

To say the five-year-old was confused was an understatement. Got who? What was so good about getting them? Hell, what did 'got' even imply, in this context? She didn't know(though she had a good idea, and she didn't like it), but she supposed it didn't matter. Morgan was happy.. That was good, right?
