Prologue – Surprise gifts

It had been a month since the barrier had been broken and the monsters had stepped into the human world.

The transition had gone surprisingly smoothly though there was of course some humans that were not to keen to share their world with the monsters, but Frisk had done his best as ambassador to smooth over the transition.

For the time being the monsters and humans got to cohabit as best as they could before any laws and the like could be enacted.

One among the monsters however was ready to take on the world.

“There's got to be something around here somewhere!”

You see Undyne had decided to venture forth into the human world to find a present for her special little girlfriend.

Was it really this hard to find a shop that catered to Alphys needs?!

Un13_zps3yd5m5td.png

“I've been running around for hours! This human world's really confusing! NGGHHHAAA! WHY CAN'T I FIND AN ANIME SHOP ANYWHERE?!?!”

But then! Undyne had stumbled into some rundown alley in the shady part of town. Outside a house that looked like it would crumble to pieces at any moment Undyne would find a sign.

For every otaku's needs! Manga! Anime! Figures! Body pillows! Come examine our wears inside!

Un11_zpsdeuha7mt.png

“Ha! Finally!”

With firm and heavy steps Undyne would head towards the entrance of the quite questionable establishment.

Meanwhile in another world entirely.

latest

“This is the place!”

Zombina as a member of MON had recived an anonymous tip about something shady going in a condemned house in the industrial district, something about a possible unregistered orc squad staying there.

Zombina had went solo and in civillian clothing because she didn't want to cause a fuss and she really wanted to shoot something, plus getting all the credit wouldn't be half bad either.

But specifically she really wanted shoot up some orcs.

Drawing her PP-2000's from behind her back as she staked out the place. Back door yeah works, better go in with stealth to get the drop on these orcs.

Pfft! As if! With a kick she'd bust open the door and enter. ”MON here! Every ugly orc raise your hands into the air or be prepared to be filled with holes!” Huh...it was awfully quiet for an orc hold out...maybe it had been a false alarm? She'd make her way through the rundown kitchen towards some stairs that lead down into a basement. Steady...steady...BAM! Another door kicked down as Zombina stepped in guns held high.

”Hands up this is- wah?”

The only thing Zombina could see as she stepped in was a table where a lone light shone down on what seemed to be a table.

”Hey!”

The shout of an unfamiliar voice got Zombina on edge again as she pointed her guns towards the noise.

”Who the hell are you?” The two women spoke in unison.

It appeared that Undyne had somehow found herself in the same place as Zombina, which was quite a mystery considering they did not share a world.

A etheral spear would emerge into Undyne's hands and went into a battle stance when she saw Zombina aiming her guns at her.

Un16_zpsovza6wtl.png

”Where's my anime! I was promised anime by the sign outside!”

Zombina cocked her gun towards Undyne before she responded. ”And I was expecting orcs, and not freaky fish girls with spears!”

”Hey! I'm not a girl! I'm a woman!”

If this had been a Mexican stand-off there would have been a tumbleweed rolling by right now. After what felt like a good ten minutes but was probably only one Zombina would let out a tsk and lower her guns. ”Seems like this entire operation was a bust...Dammit! I really wanted to shoot something.”

”And I really wanted a gift...” Seems both monster girls would go home disappointed.

However...

Un13_zps3yd5m5td.png

“What even is that anyway?”

Undyne would make her way towards the envelope on the table and pick it up.

“Oh yeah...that's weird...” Zombina would do the same and look over Undyne's shoulders. “Well open it already! I'm not getting any deader here!”

“Don't tell me what to do!” But she would do it anyway since her curiosity got the best of her. As Undyne ripped it open both her and Zombina's world would go black.

Once both regained consciousness they would find that they were laying on something warm and soft. Opening their eyes they would find themselves laying in bed next to each other.

“Gah!” Both women would fall off the bed with a hard thud to the floor.

“Listen missy, I hope you didn't do any funny business! I have a girlfriend!” Undyne snapped.

“And I don't want one!” Zombina snapped back.

Dusting themselves off both would get off the floor and look around. “Where the hell are we, better yet what happened!”

“Beats me...” Undyne's eye narrowed as she spotted more people in a similar predicament. “I think we were...taken!”

“Kidnapped?! That's bs! Who would want me? Who would want you?”

“Hey! What's wrong with me?”

“Sorry...didn't mean it like that...” After that little mishap Zombina would chuckle and hand out her hand to Undyne. “Well I guess we're stuck here until we can figure this stuff out! I'm Zombina!”

Undyne would reproach the handshake with a tight grip that would've certainly made Zombina wince in pain if she actually could feel pain. “Nice to meet ya! Call me Undyne, cause that's my name.”

Pleasantries now exchanged they'd turn their sights towards the rest of the people. Maybe some mingling would tell them what the hell was going on?

Once again, no verbal response came from Deedee, who was still staring at HK with fearful and uneasy eyes. Ro.. bot...? Huh. She didn't recall ever hearing that word. Sure, she'd heard of Bergs and Flat Trans and workpads from Mark and company, but never these 'robots'. Was that what that odd-looking talking object was? She didn't know, but she hardly cared. It didn't matter. Not in her terrified and sad mind right now. So, she just nodded against Morgan in silence, unsure what to do other than continue to cry.

"Shush, little one, it's okay..." Uh oh, Morgan has begun petting Deedee's hair to calm her down. That's what Father and Mother always did to cheer me up, so maybe it'll help with this girl... "Hey, my name's Morgan... Would you tell me your name, please?"

“Ohhhhhh Napstablooooook!~”

The robot’s smooth voice rang out through the humble abode, falling upon timid ears. The ghost in question came floating to her call straight away, floating silently through his glitter-lit home, his headphones resting around his ethereal neck.

“Y-…Yes, Mettaton…?” he responded in a whisper, cautiously standing back as various name-brand articles of clothing came flying out the door Mettaton called him to. His response caused a fit of giggling to erupt from the room.

“Weeeeeell, since you’ve become my DJ, you’ve grown tremendously in popularity!”

"I-I wouldn’t say t-tremendously-"

“So, I was talking it over with Alphys one day, and she got this genius idea!”

tumblr_nvikgkadab1qg1q1ao1_1280.png

“Blook Tunes t-shirts! Eh? Eh?!~" the eccentric automaton jumped out with his arms outstretched. The sight brought a rare smile to Napstablook’s pale face.

“Wow…M-Mettaton, that’s-“

“Incredible?! I know, right?!~ With these, you’ll become an icon! A star, just like me! We’ll take the surface by storm!~” she exclaimed, acting like her regular, larger-than-life self, wrapping an arm tightly around her ghastly friend.

“That’s very kind of you-“

Interrupted yet again, Napstablook’s eyes shot towards the door, hearing hasty knocks on his door, and a voice shouting at them from the other side.

“Mettaton! Sans said this was important! Open the door!”

Upon hearing his name be called, Mettaton quickly sprang to the door, releasing Napstablook as he quietly retreated to his desktop. The robot swung the door open, instantly recognizing the goofy voice, and throwing herself at him.
“Papyrus!~ What brings you down here, hm?~”

The lanky skeleton man quickly raised his hand, a decorated envelope clutched inside it. “A letter came for you through the barrier. Toriel told Sans to find you, but he was too busy being a lazy-bones (as usual).”

Mettaton extended his hand towards it, and swiped it away from him, and released Papyrus with a quick “Thank you darling.~” She quickly opened the letter up, skimming through it, and beaming at the mention of some sort of game, and how to enter in said game. With a delighted giggle, he shut the door on Papyrus, the skeleton too busy going on about puzzles to notice, and quickly ran to the couch. She sat down, whipping out a pen and writing up a quick confirmation

After being flooded with a stream of binary, Mettaton sparked out of every single crease, before short-circuiting, and collapsing on the couch, oil spilling from his neck and streaming onto the letter.

The jittering mess of bolts finally sprung to life with a gasp, her eyes lighting up soon after. Like the others in the room, his first thought was to look about the room, curiously eyeing up its rather quaint furnishings. But, that wasn't what was important, right? What was important was: how could a robot black out? The robot clutched her head in concentration just pondering it...which lead her to an odd discovery. Upon regaining control, he finally noticed all the oil spilling out of him, and flipped. She fell right off the bed she woke up on in shock with a shrill scream. "I'm spilling! There's oil absolutely everywhere! Someone help me!~" the automaton hollered thereafter. Even in an emergency, he couldn't put aside the drama.

Izayoi was just lying on a patch of grass, grumbling about being bored, again, when he noticed a heavy wind begin to pick up, opening an eye he could see a large bird floating above, it's wings kicking up a mighy gale as it looked down at him
"Are you a wind god?" he asks, standing and dusting himself off "Have you come to fight me?"
"I have indeed" the voice replied, booming over the sound of the many leaves rustling, as a pair of vortexes appeared either side of him

Before he could crush the bird's puny hollow bones into dust, a letter fluttered from one, landing on his face, he rolls his eyes and opens it up, almost sighing at what he read inside "Great, here we go again"
After a long moment, he sat up, his head pounding as he could feel his body much weaker than before, a small grin spreading across his lips "A challenge, I like it"

"Two robots" he mutters, chuckling, before walking up to them both and boldly starting the conversation with them both
"01011001 01101111 00101100 00100000 01110011 01110101 01110000 00111111 00100000 01011001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01100111 01110101 01111001 01110011 00100000 01110100 01101000 01101001 01101110 01101011 00100000 01100001 01101110 01111001 01101111 01101110 01100101 00100000 01100101 01101100 01110011 01100101 00100000 01101000 01100101 01110010 01100101 00100000 01100011 01100001 01101110 00100000 01110011 01110000 01100101 01100001 01101011 00100000 01101001 01101110 00100000 01100010 01101001 01101110 01100001 01110010 01111001 00101100 00100000 01101111 01110010 00100000 01110111 01101111 01110101 01101100 01100100 00100000 01101001 01110100 00100000 01100010 01100101 00100000 01110010 01110101 01100100 01100101 00100000 01110100 01101111 00100000 01110011 01110000 01100101 01100001 01101011 00100000 01101001 01101110 00100000 01100001 00100000 01101100 01100001 01101110 01100111 01110101 01100001 01100111 01100101 00100000 01101110 01101111 00101101 01101111 01101110 01100101 00100000 01100101 01101100 01110011 01100101 00100000 01100011 01101111 01110101 01101100 01100100 00111111"

He cited each digit without pause or hesitation, it was clear even without his massive power, Izayoi's mind was sharper than many blades

"Cause we could talk English if you'd prefer, I'm sure the others would prefer it"

Re-Animator: Jason Rises Again!

The Jarvis family had moved out to Camp Crystal Lake looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday city life. They expected there would have been some hooligan teenagers hanging around the abandoned camp as well. What noboddy expected was for mass murderer Jason Voorhees to rise up from the axe-wound he'd been given by Chris Higgins in his previous rampage and escape from the morgue where he'd been taken. Not before murdering some of the staff of course. Deciding to return to his old stomping grounds, Jason came into conflict with the teenagers and the Jarvis family as he slaughtered anyone unfortunate enough to cross his path. This included about all of the partying teens and even the mother of the Jarvis family.

When it became clear to Jason that the only people left to slaughter in his camp were the twelve year old Tommy Jarvis and his older sister Trish, he stormed their cabin like rage incarnate. Smashing down the door until it was nothing more than a pile of splinters at his feet. Try as they might it just seemed like the Jarvis family would not be able to stop Jason. From smashing a TV on his head, to hitting him with the claw end of a hammer, to even slicing his hand in half, Jason seemed invincible. It looked like this was a murdering spree that Jason would escape unscathed from and the grounds of Crystal Lake would never be safe.

That was however until young Tommy came up with a plan. He wasn't at all sure it'd work but as his sister fought Jason to protect him, he had to do something. Rushing up to the bathroom and locking himself in, he grabbed a pair of scissors and got to work. It wouldn't be long before Jason had finally taken Trish down to the ground and he was about to dispose of her in his usual brutal fashion until Tommy's voice broke through the chaos.

"Jason!"

Pausing in his struggle with Trish as his name was called, he glancd over and tilted his head in confusion. He was sure that the only other person in this house had been that boy. He was going to deal with him after he killed the girl. But what was this? Something had changed about Tommy and he just couldn't place what it was. Slowly making his way down the stairs, Tommy was no longer sporting his glasses or his wavy brown hair. For his head had been shaved down to the last hair. But for what reason?

CKEhSC2UYAAHzyN.jpg:small

"..Don't you remember? It's you, Jason.. Before the counselors forgot about you."

It seemed Tommy's guise to fool Jason into believing he was seeing his child-self was working as the killer seemed to hesitate in making any moves towards Tommy. Was that really him as a child? Why was he here without his mommy to protect him? His mommy made sure that she'd always protect him. Taking advantage of Tommy's distraction, Trish picked up Jason's fallen machete and with a swing, she knocked the mask off Jason's head. As it clattered to the ground nearby, Trish dropped the machete and stumbled back, in a mix of fear and disgust as Jason's hideous features. Gnarled teeth, one dead eye, a misshapen head. It did seem that Jason possessed a face that only his beloved mother would find nothing wrong with. Noting Jason's stunned appearance from having his mask knocked off, Tommy rushed over and picked up the machete and glared at Jason.

This was the man who had scared off his family's dog, Boomer. He was the one who killed all those teens and more importantly. He killed their mother. One way or another Tommy would make sure Jason paid. Gripping the hilt of the machete as tightly as he could, he swung upwards and managed to wrench the blade right into the side of Jason's head, slicing through eye and all. Jason's face scrunched up in pain as he took a step forward before falling to his knees and collapsing to the ground with blood constantly pouring out of the wound and the machete still firmly stuck within the side of Jason's head.

200_s.gif

Believing Jason to have finally met his end, Trish rushed over and embraced her brother. They had lost their mother, their dog and so many people had fallen by Jason's blade. Butt now the killer had finally gotten a taste of his own medicine and it seemed like their nightmare was finally over. Tears welled up in Tommy's eyes as he cluthced at his sister's shirt. They had lost so much but the rampage of the Crystal Lake Killer was finally stopped once and for all. Or so it seemed as Jason's fingers began to twitch slightly. Catching the movement out of the corner of his eye, Tommy pushed Trish away and ripping the machete out from Jason's head, he began to whack repeatedly at the body, leaving bloody gash after gash.

"Die, die, DIE JASON!"

It only took the first strike to stop the twitching but Tommy was far too caught up in his fury to even notice. It was only after Trish forcibly pulled her brother away from the mutilated corpse of Jason Voorhees that Tommy stopped. After massacring so many people, it was official. Jason Voorhees was finally dead. No ifs and or buts about it. Regarding the aftermath of Jason's attack, Tommy was taken away from his sister and placed in a home for disturbed adults/teens as a way to help him cope with what happened at Crystal Lake. As for Jason, his body was taken to the local morgue where police officers stood on watch outside the coroner's room in case they had another incident like the one at the last morgue Jason had been at. However, the coroner would not be alone in looking over Jason's body. Having taken out some time of his own, a certain medical student by the name of Herbert West had heard of Jason's escapades and the death of the serial killer had caught his interest.

Looking over Jason's body with the most grievous of wounds being on the right side of his head where his eye and a portion of his skull had been taken out by what seemed to be a bladed instrument. Most likely the machete that he'd been known for using. Scattered all along Jason's body were a series of randomly placed strikes, likely with the same machete.

"Yep, whoever did this no doubt had a heavy grudge with our good pal here. Turns out killing as many people as he did earns ya some enemies. But at least now it's finally over, eh Mr. West?" The coroner asked Herbert who seemed to be overlooking Jason's body with a curious look on his face. Almost as if he was plotting something. Glancing up after he''d been addressed, Herbert pushed up his glasses and nodded. "I would have thought that abundantly clear."

Before the coroner could respond to Herbert's statement, one of the officers poked his head inside the room and gestured to the coroner. "Hey, I'm not gonna pretend like I have some kinda in-depth knowledge of what you're doing in here. But you're bein requested to go and speak with some people at the front door."

The coroner sighed and glanced over at Herbert. "I'll have to go and tend to this. Probably some family members grieving about their loved ones. Get that stuff all the time. Make sure to keep our friend company, won't you?" He chided before making his way out of the room as Herbert waved him off. As soon as the door shut behind him however, Herbert reached into his pocket and pulled out a small green vial of what appeared to be some glowing liquid. Unknown to the coroner and any of the others in the building, Herbert was involved at the Miskatonic Murders which was described as some by having been done by 'walking corpses.' The university of course tried to quiet down the media as best as they could. Herbert managed to escape with some difficulty but just as you cannot stop progress, you cannot stop Herbert West. Drawing some of the liquid into a syringe, he pulled down Jason's collar so he could find a nice juicy vein..

"Normally I detest your type for you stand against everything I believe in. Which is to find a way to defeat death, not cause it. But I'm sure you'll still have your uses. The Crystal Lake Killer will help me find the answers I need to do what God himself could not and reach past death!" Injecting the syringe into Jason's neck, he emptied the reagent that he'd filled the syringe with and leaned back to see the results. His work had some 'faults' here and there but room for improvement was never impossible as he would find out here. "Live again, Jason. Rise up and be re-animated!"

But nothing seemed to occur and Jason's corpse seemed to lay on the table, motionless as a corpse would be. Refusing to believe that his work had been in vein however, Herbert noted the dosage of Reagent that he had used on Jason already. Taking a heftier dose this time around, he injected Jason once more. Just as the lest injection however, nothing seemed to occur. But just as Herbert was about to increase the doseage, Jason rose up from the table, tearing away at the straps that had been holding his body down and reached out to grip Herbert by the neck. The last thing Jason had seen was Tommy swinging the machete at him and from there everything had gone black. But now he was up and about again! But he wasn't at the Jarvis Home which meant that he and that sister of his were likely still alive. Which meant he had to find them even if he had to kill everyone here to do it. Rising off the table, with his hand still firmly around Herbert's throat, the officers pushed open the door to see just what the hell all that ruckus was about.

What they hadn't expected to find was Jason Voorhees up and about once more with wounds that would have no doubt killed any other man. In fact they had done Jason in and it was only thanks to West's Reagant that he returned to the land of the living. Or at least a semblance of it. Drawing their pistols, they opened fire on Jason.. Because when you saw a man who you had just previously seen laying motionless on a table, who needed any warning when he got up and about? The bullets tore through Jason but to no avail. Black blood oozed out of the bullet holes but the reanimated killer didn't seem fazed one bit. Tossing Herbert to the ground, Jason grabbed the nearest surgical tool which just so happened to be a scalpel and flung it with such accuracy that it hit one of the officers right in the throat., causing blood to spew from the open wound like some kind of morbid fountain.. Turning towards the remaining officer, Jason started to make his way towards him with his hands outstretched. "S-Stay back!" The officer shouted as he continued to unload his pistol's ammunition into Jason. But it was all for naught as Jason reached out and gripping either side of the poor officer's head, he began to squeeze inward.

*crack!*

As the officer's head caved in with the repeated pressure from Jason's strength, he tossed the body to the floor and turned towards Herbert. As he started to make his way towards the downed medical student, he was temporally taken aback as West stuck yet another needle in his neck. Only this had two times the amount of Reagant. "Obey me, Jason Voorhees! You will not attack me!"

The brute's body shook with unbridled rage but much to Herbert's surprise, his hands slowly lowered until they were at Jason's side once more. Had he finally achieved sucesss? Jason might have been the first experiment that Herbert had managed to domesticate. At least for some given amount of time until another dose of Reagent was needed. But Herbert certainly wasn't lacking in that department. "Well, now that you've gone and made a mess of things, we can no longer stay here. Come, we'll return to my lab and figure out where to go from there." Herbert ordered and Jason seemed to obey. Only pausing in the following of his order to grab his hockey mask and slip it back atop his head. Seemed somethings never changed.

tumblr_notuta0xFQ1qz8rwfo2_500.gif

"The coast is clear. However, it may not stay that way for long. More so given the ruckus you kicked up by disposing of those law enforcement officers. Which is why we must leave post-haste." After making sure that no one would catch him leaving the scene with Jason, Herbert made his way off and Jason slowly trudged behind. How much control did Herbert really have over Jason? Had he truly perfected his Reagent or was there more to this than even he knew? Upon managing to escape back to Herbert's lab, he noticed something sitting upon his desk. It seemed like some kind of invitation. Herbert didn't exactly pride himself on his social graces, not that he really cared about such things in the first place but this was curious.

"Who knows? Perhaps more opportunities for learning. will show up to me. Of course, I can't exactly leave you unintended to. You might just run off and commit another mass killing spree." Herbert noted matter-of-factly and Jason only stood silently. As both him and Herbert were taken to where the others who had accepted the invitation had ended up, West glanced around. Certainly seemed like an interesting assortment of people to say the least. Although he couldn't quite wrap his head around why a child of all things was here.

Needless to say Jason didn't share Herbert's interest. As far as Jason was concerned, his body was following orders that were not his own. Once he regained control of his own body. The first thing he was going to do would be to kill the man who thought he could control him. Then everyone else in this accursed room. Except for young Dee-Dee of course. For even someone as monstrous as Jason learned that after death, children are innocent and at any moment they could have a similar plight to the one he had when he was a child. Everyone else however was worth less than nothing in the hulking undead serial killer's eyes.

Both Leah and Io backed away a bit. They seemed to have bad experiences with creatures like that.

Nevertheless, they introduced themselves.

"I'm uh... I'm Leah Cain." Leah said.

"And I'm... Well, I'm Io Nitta." Io said softly.

HK-47 looked at Plutia now. "Statement: I was not addressing you, meatbag."

Mettaton gladly accepted the help, practically throwing himself into the droid's arms with a flourish of his hair. "Thank you oh so much, darling! You wouldn't happen to have anything that would help with this awful accident, would you?~" Mettaton exclaimed rather cheerily, more or less in the knowledge that she wouldn't be the only robot here. She leaned her head away, allowing her oil-spill to take centre stage, the thick black fluid drizzling down his forehead and neck.

HK-47, with his un-exposed wiring and Durasteel armor (:|) was rather dumbstruck. He didn't answer immediately.

HK-47 dropped her rather unceremoniously before examining the injury.

The Bequeathed Puppet

...

"What? You should be focusing."

...

"Where did THAT come from? Move your fingers, not your mouth."

...

"What are you doing, Milliarde?!"

...

"This is my place. Not yours."

...

"Sagi needs you more than me now. And you need him. That's why."

...

"Our bickering had to come to an end sometime."

...

"I didn't find you so offensive, either. Just so you know.

So long, Milliarde. Take care of Sagi."

The puppet couldn't recall all of what happened. Only what it had said. The last thing it heard was a low hum as the door between them shut. It hadn't felt a thing... or, at least, it couldn't remember. Not that it had much need to feel pain.

This was... unexpected, however. While its eyesight was faint, the puppet could tell it wasn't in that cramped engine room anymore. It was too open. Too well lit. Too crowded? Guillo couldn't really tell. It could definitely hear voices, and they were distinctly not those of his companions. But they felt distant. Guillo felt distant. And weak. As if its consciousness and body were entirely separated. Is this what death felt like? Guillo never really thought of itself as "living" in the literal sense. Not anymore, at least. So it never really considered what death must be like.

It was strange. The puppet had learned everything it wanted. It still couldn't really remember, but it knew. Why it was created and, ultimately, why it came back. It had finally laid everything to rest. So why did it feel so relieved to be here?

Slowly, everything began to fade back into view. It couldn't see very far ahead - maybe ten feet or so, and the room was obviously much bigger - but it could make out blurry silhouettes shuffling in the background. And it could see itself quite clearly. It lay supine on the floor, its head propped upright against a wall. Or maybe a couch. It was hard to tell, because the puppet was still a little too out of it to move. Its arms and legs were unwound and splayed messily across its field of vision. It looked like a marionette a bored child tossed into the corner, although its limbs looked inhumanly out of proportion. Anyone too careless to pay attention would be liable to trip.

The puppet lay there motionless for a while. Although it was conscious, there were no external signs of function. While it wasn't exactly inconspicuous - Guillo would stick out almost anywhere, thanks to its ancient construction - no one would reasonably be able to tell it was alive - at least, not without getting uncomfortably close.

Prologue: Memories

t3TbsSN.png

In Northern Germany, a local scientist and his wife lived in a mansion where his research took place. This was home to their eleven year old daughter, Aya Drevis, who was a lovely child that filled her parents’ days with her adorable smile.

One night, Aya decided to look for her father, heading downstairs to the basement.
"F-Father?... Father, are you in there?" Aya called out as she knocked upon the only door that leads to his lab. Aya had been shivering from how creepy the basement had appeared; only wanting a bit of comfort from her father. Suddenly, her father quickly opened the door to see what Aya wanted. "Father!" She called out.

"Aya! How many times have I told you not to come down here?" Her father softly yelled at Aya, feeling a bit annoyed from the interruption. She noticed in the tone of his voice that he was a bit upset with her, causing her to respond softly as she hesitated while giving her reason for intruding. "S-Sorry, Father... But, um... I'm too scared to sleep alone..." It may have seemed childish to an adult, but she was still young and easily afraid of the empty mansion where they have lived. Her father sighed heavily, only giving his daughter a soft smile. "Aya... Don't worry. You're never alone. Your late mother is always there at your side. She's always looking after you, Aya. Okay? Now please, get to bed." The scientist understood his daughter's fears, especially since she had to endure the loneliness upstairs while he was busy with research. "Yes, Father..." Aya replied, crossing her small arms as her hands were rubbing against the forearms for warmth. "Good girl." He had told her as the doctor saw her leave.

However, Aya was still a bit hesitant to go back upstairs as she turned to her father again. "Father, tomorrow's..."

"Yes,” The doctor smiled as Aya reminded him of the important date,
“the anniversary of her death... We'll visit her grave together."

"Okay." Aya said with a smile.

"Now,” Aya’s father chuckled a bit seeing that his daughter was still hanging around, ”back to bed, please. I'll be resting too, shortly."

"Okay..." Aya noticed her father quickly shutting the door, but she didn't think it involved anything suspicious; however, as soon as Aya turned around and took several steps away from the basement door, she heard another voice from the other side, screaming…
"S-Stop! Nooo! WAAAAH! Help me! HEEEEELLLLP!" The screaming made Aya jump, and instinctively, she ran as fast as she could from that door.

I know Father's secret...

My father is a scientist.

He loves research and is always locked up in the lab in the basement.

And I've always heard things from that lab...

Animal and human screams...

Even at a young age, I knew what my father was doing.

So I pretended I wasn't looking... That I didn't know or hear anything. I feigned ignorance the whole time. Because I loved Father. That's not the only secret I know. When mom and I weren't around, he and his helper...

Several days ago, I over heard their conversation once...

"A fine sample..." The scientist had recently finished a bit of research on a test subject. His helper was there for any tasks that he may have needed her to complete. She was a gorgeous woman in which immediately Aya's father had been interested in her. His helper had been by his side for over a year now, and it was clear that they had some sort of relationship in between them.

"I shall dispose of the remaining materials myself." Maria suggested to the doctor as she wanted to clean up the sample that he had upon the wooden lab table.

He chuckled, shaking his head as he gave her a soft smile,
"That can wait. Come, Maria." The doctor opened his arms wide so that his helper could embrace him.

"Doctor..." Maria whispered as she walked towards his opened arms, and Aya’s father pulled her close. They began to kiss briefly until she had to notify him of a certain concern. "She's aware of our... relationship." Maria sighed heavily, giving the scientist a chance to understand by what she meant. He didn't know whether it was a huge problem that his daughter had noticed their affairs. It seemed normal to him to continue with their relationship even after the death of Aya's mother. "Hm? What does it matter?"

She had given him a small glare, annoyed that he hadn't been concerned about how awful their situation was.
"I don't believe that she is fond of me. That is the problem." The doctor had chuckled, caressing Maria's cheek as he whispered in her ear, "The girl will be eleven soon. It's a troublesome age, to be sure... Be kind to her, please. Make sure she is never harmed. She is my most precious..."

I had left that day without even getting caught...

Aya safely made it to her room where she wanted to completely get rid of the scream that she heard. She didn't like leaving whoever was in there by themselves, but Aya didn't have any choice. She loved her father too much and was afraid of confronting him at the same time.

Aya knew she needed her rest, so she laid on her bed, trying to think about the memories that she shared with her mother. As she was laying, her head turned to her nightstand, noticing an unfamiliar invitation. Was it something that her father found laying around that could have been her mother's? Maybe it's an old invitation that was dear to Aya's mother... Slowly, Aya closed her eyes as she filled her mind with beautiful images of her mother wearing the prettiest dress, dancing with her father in front of a cheerful crowd. That wonderful thought led to calming her down... For now at least.

-Prologue-
"The Key"

Her house no longer resonates
Her late-evening footsteps.
The rusty wooden door still creaks,
But she does not enter.

Regardless of what you did as soon as you accepted the letter's request, everything had gone black... and now this was your new surroundings... wherever this may be.

A vast and open space. A simple room with the impression that it could house many within. That impression to be completed as there were many gathered here in this very room. It made you wonder on how you got here... because really, all you remembered was planning to accept that letter. This couldn't be a dream... it felt too real to be one. As absurd as the situation seemed, you felt a tinge of reality that came from this unknown location.

No matter what you did to the windows or doors that would lead into the outside world... they ceased to open. You could still see the light of day pouring in to this plaid room... at least there was some life into this new location. Not even your powers or abilities you may have could prove to be useful here. In fact, they were somehow nullified completely. Was this the work of the Golden Witch? It wasn't certain, but it meant that you were just as vulnerable as any normal person now. Your personal belongings (if you happened to bring them) were also out of the picture, possibly taken away by the Golden Witch as well.

Next to you, you take in the fact that an envelope was set beside you, wherever you may wake. Clearly it was similarly alike or the very same envelope that contained the invitation from the "Golden Witch Beatrice." Unlike the many times you were sent another one if you had tried to dispose of it before, the envelope gave off an eerie presence, and while you could check and see that it still had the same message inside... something clawed at you to keep it with you at all times.

Now that you took this time to take in everything around you, there were several options that you could take to pass the time, since many of the options to move out of the room and figure out things right away were not available to you:

There was a small bookcase over at the corner of the room. It didn't seem that plentiful with the narrow selection of literature, but it didn't hurt to check it out either. The background information could possibly prove to be useful at some point.

A peculiar child who wore an oversized lion costume seemed to be enjoying himself by jumping on one of the beds, not noticing the batch of guests awakening rather abruptly from the unknown transition. Did he have anything to share about this place?

A rustling came from the single closet at the far end of the room. Curiosity may bring out whatever was stuck in that room, so that was also a place of interest.

Lastly, there seemed to be someone that just woke up, presumably lost like the rest of you. While it was clear that she knew or seemed to know what was up here, the girl didn't make the move of approaching any of you at all. Guess you could try to talk to her, if she would give any attention at this rate.

Oh, you could just converse with the others that were around too. It could be the case that they should wait and hope that they would be let out... but who knows how long that would take?

After all, the Golden Witch invited them all to her Game.

OOC Note: Be sure to tag me throughout this half of the Prologue if you're going to do any of the bolded and underlined events! This half of the Prologue is set to last until sometime tomorrow, while the first round of the game will take place sometime Monday. Aya awoke to the unfamiliar sounds of people who were yelling and acting like animals... Well, maybe some of them looked like animals... She did not like the look of the place that she ended up. This was beyond the same room where she slept. Was she out of the Drevis mansion? Immediately, Aya sat up from the bed that she was laying down on and became hesitant towards seeing everyone in the room. Aya questioned where she was and gave a strange look towards the others.

"Shush, little one, it's okay..." Uh oh, Morgan has begun petting Deedee's hair to calm her down. That's what Father and Mother always did to cheer me up, so maybe it'll help with this girl... "Hey, my name's Morgan... Would you tell me your name, please?"

@Bomb @BarrenThin @The Silver Paladin @Hospes

The soothing from Morgan seemed to be slowly but surely helping, and the child finally wiped at her eyes... Despite the movement being painful. She had started to calm down.. But tensed up completely when Morgan began petting her head. The child's eyes got wider, and she locked up, quivering slightly. The petting had made her absolutely and completely mortified and distraught, and the child found herself recalling that day, a mere few days ago...

Finally, they had been rescued. Deedee was crying as it all happened - the horde swarming them, attacking her, Mark, Trina and Alec. The child was certain that this was the end. That the torture she'd withstood for so long with the ill Trina at her side was finally hitting it's climax. That now, not only her and Trina, but Mark and Alec as well would all meet their demise. Much to her surprise, though, Trina spoke loud and clear, demanding everyone stopped. That the Cranks attacking move aside so their group could leave. And... It worked.

Deedee didn't move from her place right in front of Trina, even as Trina gripped her shoulders. Mark was in front of them, starting up the stairs that had cranks standing along the sidelines of the entire way up. After receiving an encouraging nudge from Trina, Deedee hesitantly started up the stairs, nervously glancing at the cranks that had been tormenting her for so long now. They were maybe a quarter of the way up the stairs when the girl felt something.. A hand, petting her head like she was some animal in the zoo. It made Deedee freeze up where she stood, a look of horror flooding her features. "Pretty. So very pretty."

The voice chilled Deedee to the bone just as much as her touch did, and the appearance of the woman petting her didn't help. The little girl could practically see the insanity in her. The lust to continue tormenting both Deedee and Trina in her eyes. "Such a pretty child," the woman said. "I could just eat you up. Like a turkey dinner. Yes. So sweet."

Deedee couldn't help that she was trembling very slightly, the memory still all too fresh in her mind, and the injuries littering her body only serving to remind her further. She heard Morgan's next words loud and clear, but she took a very long time to respond. When she did, her voice was soft and gentle, while also tinged with immense sorrow and fear. "..Deedee." There was a long pause, before she added, "...But W.I.C.K.ED said my new name is Teresa."

Morgan froze as well as Deedee began to tremble, realizing that she had done something wrong, "... It's the petting, isn't it?" She drew back her hand and tried to rub Deedee's back instead, hoping that it and her hug would soothe her instead.

"Well... Which do you prefer, Deedee? If you're not comfortable with one or the other, I won't use it if you don't want me to," She made a mental note to remember the name W.I.C.K.E.D. For some reason, she had a feeling that she could blame a lot of Deedee's insecurities on that organization.

HK-47 looked at Plutia now. "Statement: I was not addressing you, meatbag."

HK-47, with his un-exposed wiring and Durasteel armor (:|) was rather dumbstruck. He didn't answer immediately.

HK-47 dropped her rather unceremoniously before examining the injury.

"Rude" Izayoi mutters, glancing him over slowly and shaking his head "Though what did I expect of an assassin?" he turns toward Mettaton and offers a small smile "I take it you were programmed with some manners?"

The glamorous Mettaton remained unfazed by the brash robot's actions and words, too thankful for his help to judge the droid too harshly. She laughed as Izayoi approached the two of them, especially at HK's reaction to him.

"A human who can recite binary? How exquisitely unique! Don't worry, I won't bite.~" he thought aloud, a lighter chuckle following it up. He lounged there on the bed, oil still slowly pooling on the sheets from his time deactivated. "The great and fabulous Mettaton is delighted to meet you both!~" she said in third-person.

Both Undyne and Zombina were familiar by those looks, but neither of them would let that deter them to finding out what they had actually found themselves in.

"Call me Undyne, human!"

"And I'm Zombina! Do either of you know what's going on?"

They botyh shook their heads.
"Nice to meet you, Undyne and Zombina." Io said.

"No, we don't know where we are either, sorry." Leah said.

Undyne's ears would perk up.

"That voice..."

By the corner of her eye Undyne would notice Mettaton chatting with some people.

Man...if it had to be someone she knew...couldn't it have been Alphys?! Because Mettaton, yeah she didn't really like the guy...

But she did admire his life choices. Even so she would try and duck him as best as she could.

"Well that's a drag..." Zombina replied before stretching her arms into the air. "And here I thought it was going to be yet another boring day at the office!"
