Meh, so I decided not to use a duo this time around, only because I don't think I can handle duos during the timeframe of this Murder event. At least there's Pokemon. xD

Pokemon (mix between the games and the manga)

-Attributes/Powers-
Red, by all means, is like any average boy his age, and with his scrawny body figure, he isn't physically talented. Instead, his talents are displayed through his Pokemon team, which are more than just tools of battle. He trains his team with great care, establishing a connection to them in a way that is drastically different than any other Pokemon trainer out there. It is essential that he carries medical items for his Pokemon team, because it's obvious there isn't going to be any Pokemon Centers to go to. The following list is his current Pokemon team to be used in this MG.

After shuffling between foiling the plans of Team Rocket and beating the Pokemon League Champion, who just so happens to be his rival Blue, Red declines the offer to become the next Champion and goes off to train his team in solitude on the peak of Mt. Silver.

Appearance:

the_dragonslayer_by_dawnweaver13-d5nfcvb.jpg

Character Name: Dragonslayer Ornstein

Age: Hundreds of years old at the youngest. Virtually immortal.

Attributes/Powers:

Special Soul: Granted a special soul by Lord Gwyn himself, this both physically and mentally augments Ornstein. He is nearly ageless (as far as we can tell, anyways) and can take massive amounts of physical and magical damage before being defeated (he isn't even dead when the Chosen Undead defeats him, Smough finishes him off and takes his powers).

Superhuman speed: Ornstein is capable of covering short distances (40 feet or so) nearly instantaneously and it can be assumed this could be done over long distances due to Special Soul.

Superhuman strength: Another improvement of the Special Soul is his physical ability. Lore says that, using the Dragonslayer spear, he was capable of slicing a boulder in two and, when fighting the Chosen Undead, he can deal massive damage. This is also demonstrated in the way that he wields the Dragonslayer spear with one hand.

Lightning powers: Ornstein possesses magical affinity with the lightning branch of magic, his power fueled by faith in Gwyn. His armor and spear are also augmented by this ability, which allows him to ignore armor.

Superhuman size: While not as large as true giants, Ornstein stands well over ten feet tall (probably closer to twelve or thirteen feet), allowing him to more easily move larger objects. Unfortunately, this makes doors and normal sized rooms a bit of an issue.

Dragonslayer Spear:

dragonslayer_spear.jpg

The massive spear is powerful enough to cleave rock and can fire bolts of lightning from its end. This spear is also powerful enough to cleave through the thick hide of Dragons, ignoring whatever protection they have left with the use of lightning.

Dragonslayer armor:

tumblr_lw7xmtCWBL1qdjrp6o3_500.jpg

The lightning-imbued armor of the Dragonslayer provides good protection against electricity and excellent protection against physical damage.

It can be assumed both of these items (armor and spear) were Divinely forged.

Personality/History:

Fannon. Based off of the fact that Smough was rejected by Gwyn because of his cruelty, it can be assumed that Ornstein, as Captain of Gwyn's four knights, possesses the opposite traits, such as compassion, nobility, and self-sacrifice.

Not enough of his history is known to do more than say: He killed dragons and is a demigod.

Can you give me a good reason why these two are paired?
Aside from both being in the Coalition? They would work together well. And theyd Be able to make Ace more versatile. As Lance wielding horsemen were more effective on a horse, Ace's projectile based combat, when figting a Demon dragon Would be far more useful if the two teamed up and the Projectiles source could move around separately from the firing point. Almost think Dragon Rider, Because thats what it would in turn become. Makes him far less of a Sitting Duck, as Ace is relatively easy to take out without a Strong enough Wall Spell if he has to keep dodging around. Since this is in a way meant to make a fight, having someone rolling around you repetively isn't very helpful.

Ace becomes far more versatile, both as a medic, and as an 'Archer'

Aces recovery magic and Wall magic become more versatile and useful.

Fire doesn't have to worry about something attacking from behind or harming him nearly as much, allowing his focus to be able to remain on flying and spitting fire.

They can comfort each other so the Depressions the characters may face will be reduced.

Ace is used to dragons thanks to dealings with the COncordians back in Orience, and Fire is used to being airborne, (Winged Creature and all.)

I can come up with more if you need them.

Hello? Is this the Ultimate Murder Game sign up? Yes, I'd like to make a reservation for one or possibly two please.

bg_main_top.jpg

Character Name: Kazuya 'Abel' Mineshigi

Age: 17

Attributes/Powers: Abel is able to command all demons from his world due to his title of King of Bel (doubt I'll use this at all and even then, only the lowest-level demons). He is able to use minor offensive and healing spells (Zan, Zio, Agi, Bufu, and Dia).

Personality/History: Kazuya is one of the human incarnations of biblical Abel, and he had an older brother named Cain, who reincarnated as his cousin, Naoya in the current lifetime. While Abel tended the sheep, Cain cultivated the land. One day, both gave some offerings to YHVH. Abel gave one of his newborn lambs, Cain gave his crops. However, YHVH only found joy in his offer and refused Cain's. This made the older brother jealous towards Abel, and killed him with his own hands shortly afterwards. As a result, Abel developed a grudge and his soul was cast into the demon world and became a Bel. Eventually his essence was scattered into the world and inherited by many human.

In the present, Abel was a normal Tokyo teenager before the demon summoning program appeared and the Tokyo Lockdown went into effect. However, he swiftly changed to survive in the new reality of his world, making use of his quick wit, charisma, and magical abilities to overcome the various other Bels that he encountered during the War of Bels, meant to choose a successor to be crowned King of Bel. In this situation, he was aided by Naoya, the reincarnated Cain who was responsible for creating the demon summoning program. As his power grew more and more immense, YVHV became fearful of his power and began a second war that eventually resulted in Abel defeating him and forcing him to release the reins of man's destiny.

Abel is a fairly calm and passive young man. He has a broad way of thinking, able to see through things people normally don't. A notable example of this is when he immediately concludes that the Laplace Mail is telling future events when a student who lived next door to Naoya was killed, instead of suspecting Naoya as the murderer like people would have normally thought. He is highly concerned for his friends and family, and goes through great lengths to help them. He is also quick to make decisions and clears his mind despite suddenly being dragged into the war between the demons and angels.

Canon: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor

Other Info: Praise be to AbelXAqua Also, he goes by the name Abel now mostly.

150px-DeSu-Naoya.jpg

Character Name: Naoya 'Cain' Mineshigi

Age: 24

Attributes/Powers: Naoya is magically-oriented in combat, giving him access to med-tier offensive and healing spells (Zionga, Agilao, Bufula, Garula, Diarama). He is also a greatly-skilled computer programmer.

Personality/History: Naoya is the reincarnation of the biblical Cain, and has a younger brother named Abel, who reincarnated as his cousin, the protagonist in his current lifetime. While Cain cultivated the land, Abel tended the sheep. One day, both gave YHVH some offerings, Cain offered the crops he cultivated, Abel offered one of his newborn lambs. However, He only found joy in Abel's lamb and refused Cain's offer. This planted a seed of jealousy within Cain toward his brother, and killed him with his own hands. Knowing what he had done, YHVH punished him to be forever reincarnated with all of his past memories remain intact in him and that vengeance sevenfold shall be delivered upon those who harm Cain. This caused Naoya to develop a strong hatred against YHVH and he makes it his goal to one day to kill YHVH.

In the present, Naoya's plans for revenge came to fruition as he finished the demon summoning program for the Shomonkai cult. Eventually turning his cousin and reincarnated brother Kazuya to his cause, he aided the young teen from the shadows in becoming King of Bel. At the finale of the War of Bels, the programmer joined in the battle to finally set the crown upon Abel's head. From there, he helped in the eighth day of the Tokyo Lockdown to drive off YHVH's earth-bound counterattack and served second-in-command for Abel's final battle against the god who had caused the King's first death and cursed Naoya to eternally walk the Earth.

Naoya is quick witted, described as being very knowledgeable to the point of being a genius. He is able to predict people's future actions. Generally, he is level headed and rarely loses his cool. He has a bitter resentment against YHVH, to the point he loses his usual cool demeanor whenever the subject is brought up and spent his lifetimes to find a way to get his revenge. He is also very manipulative, claiming to see the Protagonist, himself and his friends as pawns.

Behind this trait, Naoya genuinely cares for the Protagonist, or to be precise, his brother Abel, more than his revenge against YHVH and always took the riskiest choice for his survival. He is not the type to open about his feelings, leaving them to make their own judgment about him. He wanted to be understood, but rejected change in the past, and instead persisted in his hatred, due to the pain he suffered from the punishment; he feels that he will be left nothing without it. Even though he personally wished for the Protagonist to rebel against YHVH, he desired the best for him, and let him make his own choices rather than force him.

Canon: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor

Other Info: Mid-tier spells are so he isn't overpowered as a spell-caster.

@Atomyk

Alright, fuck it, gonna do a duo.. I'll write up the two sheets as well as the reasoning ASAP.

  • "Don't get carried away just yet, monster."

    Name: Shiki Tohno

    Age: 18 years old

    Canon: Type-Moon

Other Info: He is also known as "Satsujinki," which literally means "Devilish Homicide."

  • Mystic Eyes of Death Perception - The ability to "see" death on people and solid objects, perceiving them as lines and dots that other people cannot see. Using a knife, if he traces or stabs these "lines and points of death," he forces the "death" to come to reality prematurely.

With these Mystic Eyes, Shiki is able to see the eventual fated destruction of an object or entity expressed as small points on the object or entity's body and as thin black lines that extend from those points and crawl over the body. Attendant with the perception is the ability to trace the lines without much exertion; doing so effectively realizes the fated destruction, and the victim is cut or cracked or broken along those lines. Because this destruction is destined, this method of injury ignores any of the victim's defenses; armor, magical protection, regeneration, and so forth are useless. While a line symbolizes "damage" along that part of the body, a dot symbolizes the totality of that body's damage, and by extension, "existence". When a dot is pierced, the victim's "concept" is destroyed. This method of killing is apparently absolute; it bypasses even reincarnation, and can even be used against a collective entity.

In other words, no matter who or what it is, as long as it is a solid being, if Shiki traces its lines and stabs its point with his knife, it's gone. Done like dinner.

There are a few weaknesses though; notably that if he is exposed to these lines and points for too long, his brain will overload, as the human brain was not meant to perceive death at such a rate. Thus, he needs his special glasses, dubbed the "Mystic Eye Killers" to nullify this effect.

Superhuman speed and agility - For a brief moment of time, thanks to his assassin lineage, Shiki can dash at hypersonic speeds, even becoming invisible from the normal human's eye during this period. However, because the human body was not made to move at such speeds, he can only move for so long before tiring himself out, even though he is actually built at peak human stats, despite his otherwise frail exterior. Even so, he is also an olympic-level athlete, thanks to training that he received as a young boy that is only remembered subconsciously.

Presence concealment - Self-explanatory. Due to his assassin lineage, he is able to completely mask his presence from anyone, even those with heightened senses, like the vampire goddess Arcueid Brunestud.

Mikasa Ackerman's Sword - Given to him in the end of The Reapers' Game by Mikasa before she had passed on. He keeps it not only as a memento, but as an effective weapon, one that he uses to complement his Mystic Eyes.

Nanatsu-Yoru - A knife that means "Seven Nights," it was given to Shiki posthumously by his adoptive father, Makihisa Tohno. Though it is a normal knife for all intents and purposes, it is still an efficient tool at that, and it is used as a secondary weapon should something happen to his sword.

    7EisiRe.jpg

  • Personality

Shiki is a fairly normal high school student most of the time. Due to his close brush with death, he is not overly concerned about dying, and instead seeks to cherish every moment of his life. "Just living is enough" is his perspective on life. He is playful, teasing, and slightly mean to those he cares for, like his maids and his younger sister, but he isn't above exchanging snarky jibes and sarcastic quips with his best friend. He's not exactly flustered easily, nor is he easily otherwise perturbed. When he sets his mind to a goal, he will strive to accomplish it no matter what with hot determination, even if he might fail and fall a few times.

However, he is also deadly cold and merciless in battle against his enemies. This is said to be an aspect taken from his alternate, darker personality, that of his original self, Shiki Nanaya, which emerges subconsciously whenever he is in the presence of non-humans, and if he is not careful, the "Nanaya" persona might take over completely. When he is in this state, he is far more cool-headed and smug, more obsessed with death and quite sadistic, taking pleasure in murder and rape, and nothing else.

Still, Shiki actively tries to fight this persona, and though it may slip out in the heat of battle, it's usually his more mild-mannered self that stays out on top.

    History

Tsukihime - During his second year of high school, shortly after returning to live with his younger sister and maids after years of being sent off by his adoptive father to live with distant relatives, Shiki would find that not all was right in the town, and his family, for that matter, meeting up with various vampires and other figures, friendly and not. Somewhere along the line, he had fallen in love with his classmate and friend, Satsuki Yumizuka, who later became a vampire at the hands of the villain, Roa. Thus, Shiki was forced to murder Yumizuka, and though he managed to defeat Roa as well, he was left traumatized by the event of killing the one he loved, and even repressed not only her name, but almost her entire existence, from his memory.

The Ties That Bind - Shortly afterwards, Shiki would experience the first of many Murder Games, fighting off hostile Crossed creatures controlled by Albert Wesker, and indirectly, Arch Demon Akibahara. There, he had allied himself with fellow survivors from different worlds across the multiverse, like Kiritsugu Emiya, and had fallen in love once again, this time with a certain girl named Mikasa Ackerman. Once the Murder Game had completed, he would return to his home world, forced to leave Mikasa behind, but not forgotten, as the two of them felt that they would meet again. Shortly after this, he would reunite with his old mentor, Aoko Aozaki, who also went through her own Murder experience, and thus, the two of them would report their experiences to the Mage's Association, who in turn would share this anomaly with the Holy Church.

After Kagetsu Tohya and Monokuma Rising - Some time later, Shiki would meet a cat familiar named Len. Meanwhile, shortly after Kirei Kotomine submitted the Monokuma Incident Report, the existence of "Murder Games" became apparent to the Mage's Association, and thus, Shiki, along with Aoko, began preparing themselves in an attempt to stop this strange phenomena.

The Reapers' Game - Some time later, after the unexpected death of Ciel, the Church's trump card and greatest Executor agent, Shiki had made a deal with the will of the Earth, known as the Counter Force, to revive Ciel and ensure that she comes back, as Ciel's life was necessary for the world's survival. On his way, he would unexpectedly run into Mikasa once again, who had turned delirious and became a Traitor in hopes of ending the cycle of the Murder Games. After quite the run-around, Mikasa would be forced to pass on in the world of the Reapers due to her being a Traitor working for John White, who in turn worked for Arch Demon Akibahara, but not before Shiki would promise to her that he would end the cycle in her stead. With that, Mikasa would place her faith in Shiki, giving him her sword in the meantime, before passing on, and Shiki would return to his world with Ciel.

In this event, however, Shiki had decided to grow stronger from this tragedy of losing yet another lover. He would continue to fight to save lives, even if he would stumble along the way, reveling in the irony of a murderer like him working to protect.

After Fusion - After Kirei Kotomine had submitted the Fuse Incident Report, Aoko Aozaki devised a plan to intervene in the cycle of the Murder Games, sensing an "ultimate" game on the rise that could very well threaten the entire multiverse.

And part of that plan involved a not-so ordinary boy named Shiki Tohno.

~NAME~
Jon Snow, "The Bastard of Winterfell"

~AGE~
22

~ATTRIBUTES/POWERS~
Loyalty
Serving under the renowned order of the Night's Watch, which has existed for nearly eight-thousand years to halt any attempts by the White Walkers in the Lands of Always Winter to invade the Seven Kingdoms, Jon has shown a shockingly devote sense of loyalty. Whilst he may of forsaken his oaths for love, he does everything in his power for the Night's Watch, going as far as to return back after some of his fellow "crows" label him as a traitor. Outside of this context, Jon will serve those around him valiantly until the very end.

Longclaw
Jon's trademarked hand-and-a-half sword, otherwise known ironically as a "Bastard Sword", this weapon is forged out of the extremely rare and valuable Valyrian steel. Valyrain steel, made by the Valyrains thousands of years of ago, was supposedly infused with magic, making the blades indestructible. In the context of this RP, this is Jon's main weapon, and being forged out of this steel ensures that his sword will not only never break, but will always remain sharp, a trademarked feature of Valyrain steel.

Normal Human Traits
More of a disadvantage than an advantage, Jon, outside of his impressive strength and buff stature, exhibits no supernatural traits. Whilst it may prove to be an advantage in some scenarios, he will be heavily out-classed by those around him that exhibit supernatural prowess.

Guilt
Jon faithfully kept to his vows and oaths to the Night's Watch as his half-brother marched off to war with the rest of The North, almost tempted to abandon his post and join his family. Because of this, Jon carries the burden of abandoning his family for his duty, and is tramuatized by his incapacity to help them, as he has always presumed the worst for all of them.

~PERSONALITY/BACKSTORY~
Jon was supposedly born to Eddard Stark and an unknown mistress, presumably during Eddard's and the rest of the rebelling houses war against the Targaryen dynasty during Robert's Rebellion. Raised in Winterfell as one of Eddard's sons just like Robb, Jon faced both a difficult yet pleasing childhood. Catelyn had always spited the bastard, but Jon had grown to love the family as a whole, especially young Arya, whom he mussed her hair often and affectionately called her "his little sister". For years upon years, the Stark family was at peace, and Jon, despite being an outcast, adored it.

It was until he became of age that his father sent him off to The Wall to serve the Night's Watch, an ancient order that guards the realms of men from raids of nomadic barbarians known as Wildlings. However, the order's true purpose was to fend off the White Walkers, undead, icy necromancers that almost caused the extinction of men thousands upon thousands of years ago.The White Walkers but a myth, although frighteningly coming to live with each passing second, Jon's ventures at The Wall has made him into the young man he is today, a faithful servant to the Seven Kingdoms and his fellow men.

Personality-wise, Jon had grown close to his father, and thus followed in the path of honor and duty. His status as a bastard as forced him to mature faster than most young men, carrying with it a sense of self-righteous duty along with it. However, Jon can be easily conflicted, struggling to find balance between family and duty, often leaving him distressed. Being a Northerner as well, he is rather hardy and tough, and will do his best never to show fear in combat. On a side-note, he is shockingly shy around women, and doesn't wish to father a bastard partially because of his own experiences.

~CANON~
A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones

~OTHER~
"Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come."

    Personality & History

"What is thy bidding, my master?"
    - Darth Vader, to Emperor Palpatine

    Personality:
As a young boy, Anakin Skywalker was thoughtful and intelligent. He was friendly and easily got along with others despite his status as a slave. He also had a special place in his heart for his mother, whom he constantly built inventions to sell or to use to lighten her workload. At the coming of the Jedi, he was both helpful and generous; doing all that he could to help them off-planet, risking his life at the podrace as well as giving them the sizable reward money which he and his mother would have had use for. Though lovable, he also was one to carry grudges and was vengeful, but he commonly held these two traits in check. He also hated being treated unjustly or being wrongly accused. He was fiercely loyal, doing anything to keep those he was close to from harm, at any cost. His only price for this dedication was loyalty in return.

His separation from his mother was the hardest thing he'd ever done, and it still hurt him for years. Because of his fear of losing even more friends in such a manner, he kept to himself, fiddling around with his only friends, the Temple droids. During this, however, he grew especially close to Kenobi, considering him a father and a role model. Due to his sudden escalation from slave to being known as the "Chosen One" and the rising star of the Jedi Order, pride and arrogance set in. He grew cocky, self-appreciating, and he grew to hate being reprimanded or lectured.
He was naturally honest and despised lying and deception, and especially hated politics, correctly considering most politicians to be greedy and self-conceited. Kenobi's continual self-consciousness when it came to Skywalker hurt the boy, who at times wasn't sure whether Kenobi liked him, something his heart craved. Therefore, he turned to a more complimenting, comforting source: Palpatine.

His yearning to be loved, as well as appreciated, came out in his devotion and secret marriage to Amidala, one of the only three people he ever thought appreciated or cared for him. As his fame grew, he became more and more arrogant, and he knew that he was one of the best Jedi of the Order, believing that he could easily best any Jedi blindfolded with his lightsaber tied behind his back. This coupled with his frustration at his perceived injustice at being kept at the rank of Jedi Knight made him more and more bitter and distrustful of the Jedi Council. His belief in them was shattered more and more as Skywalker's closest friend, Palpatine, swayed him from trusting them. Slowly, his bond with everyone except the Chancellor was completely shaken and broken, even that of his wife when he assumed her betrayal of him. Born out of this conflict was the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader.

After becoming Vader, Skywalker's personality changed completely. He is now a rattled man, shaken by the perceived betrayal of his dearest friend, his former comrades-in-arms, and his wife. Upon donning the armor that keeps him alive, Vader initially remained uncertain, but regained his self-confidence. He also gained a firm belief that love was a weakness and was utterly meaningless. Vader has an extremely low tolerance of failure, and does not get on well with many of the higher-ups in the Imperial military, nearly choking Admiral Conan Antonio Motti to death when he challenged the power of the Force, though Admiral Motti survived due to the intervention of Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin. Both Admiral Kendal Ozzel and Captain Lorth Needa were not so fortunate, as Vader telekinetically strangled both men to death following blunders they had committed. For their part, many higher-ranking Imperial officials despise the Dark Lord and his "sorcerer's ways." He also retained his former identity's distaste for dishonesty and deception, having once gone into a massive rage that resulted in the destruction of a large part of the Jedi Council chamber upon learning that the Jedi Council, including Obi-Wan Kenobi, had hid the location of the Ghost Prison from him as well as Palpatine. However, he has develop a tendency to craft some falsehoods, or at the very least half-truths.

Despite his actions, Vader apparently believes he was doing what was good for the galaxy. He also appears to have a high sense of self-loathing as a result of his actions. His self-hate is strong enough to kill the doppelganger of Darth Maul. He expresses the belief that the Empire is the only way the galaxy could attain peace, justifying his actions and those of the Empire as necessary to accomplish this.

    Bio:
Once a heroic Jedi Knight, Darth Vader was seduced by the dark side of the Force, became a Sith Lord, and led the Empire's eradication of the Jedi Order. He remained in service of the Emperor -- the evil Darth Sidious -- enforcing his Master's will and seeking to crush the fledgling Rebel Alliance.
