Twenty years. Twenty full years since Ellie and Joel visited Silent Hill.

Over seven thousand days did she spend alone in the world. Literally all alone. No living creature to be found, anywhere. No birds, no dogs, no humans... Only the dead. Those infected were the only things they didn't take away from her.

Twenty years of complete solitude, and yet she didn't age a day. Whatever world she was sent into, it wasn't normal, not natural. Ellie should've been 34 years old by now, but she still looked the same, felt the same. She was the same. And every single day was the god damn same. It was hell itself, and no one was there to share it with her.

There was no way out. No possible escape from this endless torture. Even if she took her own life, she would just end up lying on the street, seeing the dawn when she opened her eyes.

Until this one time...

(this isn't a spoiler for The Last Of Us, it's just a game over scene)

Now...
This time, Ellie didn't wake up to the sight of a rising sun.
She was awoken by two guards who immediately escorted her to a beautiful, warm room that just screamed out the word 'wealth'. "Another fucking dream..." she mumbled. These men holding her couldn't be real. When meeting the talking cat reading a book, she was convinced it was just a dream. She completely ignored the cat, but put the map into her green backpack anyway. Just in case, y'know.

After that, she turned around and ran back down the stairs, but stopped halfway. "... Gotta wake myself up" she decided. "Best way to do that..."

She fell. From halfway down the stairs, she just let herself fall down. It was painful. Very painful, but she was convinced it was going to wake her from the dream she was having. After many painful bumps, she ended up lying on her back in front of the stairs, her body hurting almost all over. But she didn't moan or complain.

"... I'm not awake! I'M NOT FUCKING AWAKE! Wake me up! WAKE ME UUUUUP!" she screamed out loud like a crazy little girl.

Threepio jumped when he was startled by a sudden scream. What in the blazes was that? He turned towards the source and was shocked to see a bruised up little girl at the bottom of the stairs. "Oh my goodness!" The droid exclaimed, quickly rushing to the poor human child's aid. What happened? Did she accidentally fall?

tumblr_nbar5i4KoG1tjwqt6o1_500.gif

Kneeling next to the girl, Threepio checked for any broken bones. "Calm down, miss! Have you broken anything?" He said to the girl, sounding very worried. He didn't want touch her in fear that it would only make things worse.

While she continued reading her of her book (and possibly waiting for a response for Touma at the same time), she happened hear someone scream out.

Well, the librarian kept on reading, grumbling inaudibly to herself.

"...how disruptive..." She grumbled at the case of someone screaming out like that.

Springtrap was staring at the new arrival. How intresting, why was he wearing a cape, was he a vampire? Was he a demon? Springtrap tilted his head curiously as he stared at Sadao

"Don't call me a lady!" Arya remarked hastily, a bit of spunk and resentment in her voice. She hated that term deeply, partially because of it's reminder that she was technically a princess. Hearing the strange, baby-eating, eight-eyed arachnid talk, the teen edged a bit closer, ending up *stealing* a bright, velvet apple sitting upon the table. Eventually unsheathing Needle, although rightfully still weary of the other individual, the lone wolf take a quick munch of the apple. As evident by her attire, personality, and overall attitude, the Northerner was far, far from your average princess.

"The names Arya..." the crossdresser elaborated, usually wary of giving her name but as evidence by the others in the mess hall around her in this Fusion Forge, there was far from anyone she knew residing.

@Jeremi @Anyone else downstairs at cafeteria/mess hall/whatever it is okay most likely cafeteria yeah
"Well Arya you called me that, so just trying to be fucking courteous." The Stalk replied back. The briefing she had received had, well, been brief but it all seemed to check out. Individuals from other worlds and times...it almost made ones head spin. Taking it in stride however she'd smirk as Arya would snatch the apple from the table.

"I figured your tummy was empty, and that look you were having. I don't like seeing that on a kid. It makes me remember how shitty this universe can be."

Cole stepped into the Waiting Room along with the others, his eyes widening slightly at the sight before him. He whistled to himself, surprised at how swanky it all looked. He'd imagined a dreary military facility made cold metal and a harsh atmosphere. Cole wondered now if the catch to all this was that they would all have to live here to obtain this power, for the Conduit knew there would be a catch of some manner. In fact, as his eyes moved to examine the others shuffling through the Waiting Room, Cole had to wonder why there was so many of them. He'd expected a small group at most, considering the prize. How many people could you give great power before it all collapsed in on itself?

He looked upon the others nearby-- a Japanese boy with messy black hair and a girl with hair of an interesting shade of purple-- and knew they weren't from his world. Perhaps that was meant to be a secret, but Cole's time in the afterlife had taught him a great number of things about the universe. Namely, a lot of crazy ass people with powers existed in other worlds too. Perhaps Kessler could have discovered that, with his ability to jump through time. Could one use such an ability to hop dimensions? Perhaps with the power obtained from this tour, Cole himself could make a few discoveries of his own.

He was about to speak to the two idle individuals when a scream practically made him jump. By instinct mostly, Cole raised an arm toward the distressing noise, electricity sparking off of him. At the sight of the battered girl screaming at the bottom of the stairs, he couldn't help but share a confused glance with the robot standing over her. "What the hell happened?" he asked gruffly, joining Threepio in tending to the girl. "I can heal you," he said, already moving his hands to do so. He held them over the girls body, light blue tendrils electricity visibly flowing around them.

Great, now there were golden robots in her dream too. "Leave me alone!"she barked at him. She might have broken something, honestly she didn't know, and honestly she didn't care. In her mind, this was all just a dream anyway.

"... Actually, no, no no! Wait! Wake me up! Slap me! Pinch me! Hurt me! I need to wake up!" she said, sitting up straight and looking at the droid with wide eyes.

Then, when yet another person approached and kneeled down beside her, Ellie groaned and layed her head back. "Uuuugh... Don't heal me, just help me wake up, seriously! Fuck you guys..." she then grumbled.

"I have not heard of such a thing", Mulan responded, and she was starting to feel worried. So many things she would need to learn, so much difference to overcome, she was not confident she could adequately be up to the level of the others here.

She wanted to get to the library soon, to begin the process, and strengthen what was becoming a great weakness.
Hope breathes a sigh of relief at her lack of knowledge on the subject. if Mulan and the cat didn't know about l'Cie, theres a good chance none of the others do as well. looking around as they go, he grabs his wrist a little tighter, trying not to be obvious about it but to the most observant it would seem like he is indeed hiding a rash or a scar or something under the wristband.

Her comments made Cole pause. He stared at her in disbelief for a moment before retracting his hands. "... What kind of dreams do you normally have?" he had to ask. "I guess anything's possible, but I'm pretty sure you're not dreaming." He paused for a moment, looking the girl over. She didn't seem to have any broken bones, but no one fell down a flight of stairs without some injuries. Well, not a regular human, anyway.

"I know you're hurting, so I'm going to heal you. You might think that's proof you're dreaming, but it's not. Once it's done, you need to calm down and listen to us, all right?"

The princess was a bit taken aback by the Stalk's words, but couldn't up but force up a soft smile. Despite being young relatively speaking to others in this facility, Arya was far from a stranger to unsavory language. She recalled her days long ago in Winterfell, remembering Mother scowling her for using such a tongue in public, defiantly not listening to her until Father or Jon spoke up. Back then, it was almost an alluring sin to do so, but the mere notion of swearing was but just one aspect of Arya's drastic transformation over the years. Pushing aside the matted strands of her stoic, black hair of a true Stark, the noblewoman adjusted the large belt around her waist, keeping her boyish green vest against her dulled white blouse.

"Well, uhh, thank you...Stalk." Arya remarked, her voice muffled, the child of fifteen years munching down on the fruit in a mere minute. It had been awhile since Arya enjoyed having a stomach, so naturally, it should come to no surprise that she soon smuggled out more small fruits from the Stalk's plate. Granted, it wasn't exactly stealing per say, as the food seemingly unnaturally unlimited in supply. A smarter individual might even go as far to question the properties of the food, but originating in a medieval society where the only applications of the brain involved political intrigue or severe skull trauma, Arya wasn't exactly the brightest of the bulb (yet, she was far from stupidity either).

Staring up at the abnormality, taking a break for her impromptu feast, a scream from above shook Arya, causing the bloodied teenager to nearly jump. "Oi!" she cried, a hand reaching up to her chest, staring up at the staircase as she could faintly hear the rapping and tapping of feet. Glancing at the Stalk, Arya flinched, unsure if she should be concerned or not. Checking the sharpness of Needle's tip before ensuring it was snug in her scabbard, the youngest Stark daughter dug into the folds of her vest. Strangely, a mask of black and white was soon in her hands, a gift from a certain place with a name far and yet near.

Before she placed that damning eerie mask, the hollowed, faceless girl looked up at the Stalk. The gaze in her grey eyes spoke of a lost soul bent solely on the destruction of those that have wronged her namesake. Despite her frighten state before, the girl was far from normal, if her bloodied, matted, dirty appearance didn't already express that clearly.

"I'm going up, Stalk. I don't like the sound of that, shit, shouldn't of came to 'is forge. I'd rather be slightly on an empty stomach than unaware of what this damned forge has going on." Arya grimly expressed, her voice very objective-focused, not keen on socialability but goals and purposes. After all, in a twisted way, everyone that came to this facility was in a selfish matter. Few that came were given an option, not forced, and even Arya admitted it about herself. Bearing that sin upon the sins of her House on her shoulders, the She-Wolf of Winterfell boldly began to ascend to the lobby room

The Beginning
There's a fire starting in my heart.

It was Monday morning. The time was seven A.M. on the dot. A woman with shoulder length brown hair rested in bed, greeted to the start of the day by a sound of a buzzing and vibrating alarm clock like many others heard in the morning. Unlike many others, however, she awoke immediately. She didn't hit the snooze button, but instead turned the alarm off and opened her hazel eyes to immediately begin scanning the ceiling above her bed.

Reaching a fever pitch and it's bringing me out the dark

5a422c521da7507f680103897a2f0daf.gif

Above the woman's head were files upon files and names upon names of classified people, places, and information that the average woman would spend her lifetime knowing not a thing about. She intently gazed at all of this information, almost obsessing over it. But if one knew her, they would understand why. This information was part of her job, part of her life, and part of her now. In fact, it was all she really had anymore. Secrets, lies, case files, criminals, and the blacklist, she was thrown in the middle of it all. She never understood why, but she wouldn't rest until she did. She was an FBI agent, after all.

Finally I can see you crystal clear

This woman, Elizabeth Keen, always felt as if there were some secret she were trying to figure out. Even her husband, Tom Keen, ended up involved in a web of lies. But at least she had discovered him, one secret exposed.

Go ahead and sell me out and I'll lay your shit there

He was exposed like the liar he was. He had been working for someone to spy on her for such a long time that she felt like her own life was a lie. It even had nothing to do with the FBI; it was a long story as to why the man did what he did, but it didn't matter anymore. She was done with him.[/BCOLOR]

See how I leave with every piece of you

After pouring her dedicated attention into a few case files, Elizabeth finally rose from bed, made her way to a dresser in her room, and pulled out a pair of clothes to change into. She absently glanced at her old wedding ring sitting upon the dresser, a spiteful look in her eyes toward it briefly before turning away to get dressed and prepare to leave.

Don't underestimate the things that I will do

She loaded a 19mm pistol after she finished dressing herself, concealing it carefully inside her coat. She then turned to the door, sparing a glance to her little dog--the only thing left from her time with Tom other than her own memories--before she exited.

There's a fire starting in my heart. Reaching a fever pitch and it's bringing me out the dark.

-Later-

When Elizabeth stepped in the doors of her workplace, she was no longer Lizzy. She suddenly became Agent Keen, and work was the only thing on her mind (usually). Upon entering, she was immediately greeted by Cooper, Assistant Director for Counter-Terrorism.

"Keen, come with me. I have a task for you..."

-Much Later-

Lizzy had never heard of such a thing, but then again she wasn't surprised. In her field, she saw a lot of different things. It would be interesting to check into, not to mention for once she actually wouldn't be working with Reddington. She hadn't the faintest clue he would be there. So when she arrived on the island she made her way inside and headed for the library to see what kind of information this place held.

Cole couldn't honestly say if this girl annoyed him, or if he liked her. "I think you'll be feeling a bit more amicable after this." He'd never thought of his powers as magic before, but he supposed that was a fine way to put it. Who had time for the science mumbo jumbo behind it? He reached out once again, his arms crackling with blue energy. In a flash, tendrils of lightning burst from his hands and enveloped Ellie. To the observer, it might have looked like she was being electrocuted, but Cole knew it didn't harm her. It just felt, well, kind of weird.

It was over in just a few seconds. Cole pulled his hands away, the last remaining shoots of electricity dissipating into the atmosphere. Ellie would feel as healthy as could be, hopefully. "You know Dumbledore was gay too, right? I think you might have an issue with them." He was smiling as he said it, playing it off as a joke.

"Hey someone screaming like that, you bet I'm interested as well. Lead the way, Arya." Snatching an apple from the table the Stalk would follow up the steps to see what all the commotion was all about.

One up in the lobby the Stalk would see another girl laying on the ground flanked by a bald man...who reminded her slightly of the Will...no push those thoughts away, and what looked like a servant droid of some kind. "What happened." The Stalk asked moving in closer. "She screamed like she got a spear up her ass."

"Right." Ellie scoffed. "Yeah, right. So I'm actually talking to a gay golden robot and some magical dude with healing powers." Ellie rolled her eyes and sighed. Her side was hurting too much to stand right now, so she couldn't do much else than sit and let the man 'heal' her.

"Go ahead then, Dumbledore. Heal me. We'll see soon enough who's real, and who's just a subject of my dream here."
To the observer, it might have looked like she was being electrocuted, but Cole knew it didn't.

Threepio brushed off the insult. Years of having Artoo as a companion made him used to minor insults like that.

However, he was curious on why the girl assumed she was dreaming. "Pardon me for asking, miss, but why did you assume you were dreaming?" He asked, tilting his head slightly to the side.

Springtrap was staring at the new arrival. How intresting, why was he wearing a cape, was he a vampire? Was he a demon? Springtrap tilted his head curiously as he stared at Sadao
*Sadao continued looking over the people. He then looked over to see the mangled, old, and yellowish bunny looking at him. His eyes widened and he jumped back not expecting to see something like that looking at him*

*he looked away and pretend not to notice* "Man that thing is so creepy!"

"Oh for fuck's s-- Now there's spider-faced people too?!" Ellie called out when seeing two others enter the room. "This is just getting fucking ridiculous..."

The girl just sighed when the 'magical' man began healing her. A different expression appeared on her face however, when she started actually feeling better. The pain in her side was gone. She was surprised, but refused to comment on it. The teenage girl stood up and brushed herself off, stretching a little, not even bothering to thank the man. "... Seriously though, how the fuck..." she mumbled, more to herself than to anyone else.

"How can you say I'm not dreaming?" Ellie replied to the golden droid. "I mean seriously, look around you! I haven't seen any living person in... in a long-ass time, so I seriously fucking doubt this... is all real!" she almost yelled at the poor ol' robot. But she was almost convinced. After all, she could obviously feel pain, and she'd usually already woken up by now... "That tiny boy-looking girl over there is the only one in this room who looks at least kinda normal" she finally said, nodding over to the girl.

Johnny Cade

PROLOGUE:

"Excusez-moi?"

Johnny gasped, jumping up. Soft sheets under his feet made it harder to move. The room around him was bright. Even brighter than the hospital, bright. His hands were balled into fists, and his breaths came out funny. He was shaking.

"'The fuck are you?" he asked, looking around. His voice was at an embarrassing upper octave, and he cleared it quickly. The sound echoed. One of the first things he noticed was that he was in his normal clothes and not hurting. The second was that he didn't have any burns. The slip that he was nervous was even more embarrassing when he saw the source of the voice: a pretty French woman in pink. The albino turned slightly, and he could see the long, black wings coming from her back. Johnny furrowed his eyebrows, lips pouted.

"I am Marie," she replied softly. She gazed at him with bright, blue eyes. Johnny tilted his head in confusion. The place around them was white and soft. He looked around, eyes darting between the walls and Marie. "I am here," she began, then paused, "Was here to collect you for the Reaper's Game." She tilted her head, looking at him with curiosity. "But you are special."

"Reaper's Game?" he asked, arms crossed over his chest. "Sounds like a load of bullshit. Where are we? Heaven?" His hand fiddled for his knife on instinct, even though he hated that goddamn thing.

"We are In Between." She looked around before her eyes cut into his. "You were going to die. However, we sensed that you weren't going straight to death, so I was sent to introduce you to the Reaper's Game." She paused biting her lip. "But... You have a different invitation. The Fuse Collection facility. They want you to take The Tour, and are offering you enough fuse, power, and money to call yourself a god."

Johnny's eyes narrowed. Be like a Soc? Not like it mattered, anyways. He was already dead. It would be pretty fucking awesome to be richer than a Soc, though. Already, Johnny made up his mind. Die or become a god? What a tough decision.

"And I get to come back from the dead?"

"Well, um, yes." Marie looked kind of nervous, like this was her first time doing this whole "reaper" thing. "But are you in interested in hearing about the Game? Maybe?"

"...I kinda just want to go to the Fuse place."

Marie looked defeated. "And you are sure?"

Johnny nodded. "Yeah."

Sighing, Marie shook her head. "Okay."

And with that, Johnny was at the foot of the bridge.

-

It was the humanoid cat that took him aback.

Or maybe all of the other fucking weirdos around him.

"The fuck?"

His voice was kinda loud.
