The Ancient Ruins looms overhead, the dim light of early morning creeping over the horizon. Monokuma seems pleased with your choice and insert the code for the door happily-- 'Akibahara'.

Frank West and Leia Rolando, the two reporters who've accompanied you on your journey, decide they are going in as well. They'd discovered what caused the outbreaks and both had the best story of their lives, but they couldn't abandon you now. The Ultimate Truth lie just ahead.
With a great heaving sound, the door begins to open. Monokuma invites Bayonetta to be the first to step inside, but as she does so...
You all feel the earth shake beneath you. Cracks start to appear, rending apart the earth to create large fissures that threaten to pull you into the abyss. Jabberwock Island is begging to crumble and sink into the ocean. Like Monokuma said, none of you have a choice now but to rush inside. For those of you who stayed away from the ruins, like Poirot, River and Edward, you better get a move on!
The bear watches calmly as you all run in, the last of you making it just in time to avoid the destruction.
Monokuma doesn't follow, and the door slam shut behind you all.

You feel a sense of weightlessness for a moment, as total darkness surrounds you. You feel the presence of the others, but you can't see any of them. You can't even see your hands in front of your face. A great mechanical noise can be heard far off in the distance, it increasing in volume as it whirrs to life. Eventually, it reaches its climax, illuminating the area around you all.
The entrance is gone now, replaced with darkness. You all stand on a sheet of glass, that appears suspended in space. The two reporters are missing. Looking around, none of you can see anything but darkness--
However, at the end of this path sits four doors. One of you, Jean Kirstein. steps forward to make his way there, but something surprising happens-- the glass shatters underneath his feet. He instantly plummets, falling into the endless darkness.
Even worse, the glass behind you guys begins to shatter. You're all forced to run, unsure if the glass will hold your weight. For most of you, it does, but some find the glass shattering underneath them. You're all expecting it now, so you manage to hold on for dear life on the edge and lift yourselves back up, but that unfortunately slows most of you down. Your destination are the four doors, and the majority of you manage to make it, except--
Revya and Gig, slightly slower than the rest, fall as the the glass breaks underneath them.
The rest of you have made it.

Behind door number one is a scene out of a dystopian novel. Edward, River, Ruby, Yang, Sting, Lector, Chung Seiker, and Don Collier find themselves on a city street, but the buildings around them don't look much like buildings at all. Lining the 'windows' are television screens, most of them displaying nothing but static. A few play some random nonsense-- a children's show here, some weird sitcom there. On the horizon you all can see what appear to be a mountain of wires and television screens.
Stepping forward, you all find that the street gives away to what appears to be an 'undercity'. It's practically grotesque in how cramped it appears to be. Lights flash down below, and a siren can be heard in the distance...

With no time to waste this time, Jennifer quickly enters the room, followed by both Brown and Nick. "Something's wrong." she says. "Everyone appears to be upset. We have to see what this month's gift is."
She leads you all to the Club Room door, which states that Joshua the bear is missing. "It's the bear I gave Wendy," Jennifer explains. "She named it Joshua..."
Wendy comes up to your group now, on the verge of tears. At least she doesn't look sick today. "After promising to take care of him... I'm sorry, I'm so sorry..." Wendy looks at you all, her gaze eventually lingering on Jennifer. "We have to find him."

Seiker picked himself up upon reaching the city streets. His breath calming and his gun ready in his hands, he took his shield and tossed it into one of the television screens.
