Movies that should have had a prequel/sequel

Stardust was based on a book. It doesn't need a sequel.

I'm well aware it was based on a book. That doesn't mean anything regarding whether that story is deserving of a sequel or prequel or not.

Yes, Hellis. It had no sequel. The point of the thread was to state your opinion on what you felt was deserving of a sequel/prequel. My opinion that Stardust was deserving of a sequel/prequel would of course - if heeded - warrant a written sequel before a movie adaptation, but there would be a sequel developed regardless of the time it would take or what had to come first in order to create that movie.
