Most important lessons ever learned?

You can only look in one direction at any given time, so you might as well look forwards and see where you're going.

There is no one way. But the only way to know if it is the right one is to follow a path, fall down, scrap your knees, stand up and move to another path. And keep doing so until you find the right way. And once you find it, do everything in your power to follow it.

Sometimes "good enough" actually is good enough. Striving for perfection will only bring more problems than you'll resolve.

When shaving, always keep the skin taut, and make sure you have a good source of light.

...Yes, the two statements above are related. Fortunately, I haven't had to learn them the hard way.

Realizing when you are not good enough at a given task, you might have to swallow your pride and ask for help.

Never wear jeans without a belt. It's not lady like to keep pulling them up.

Always wear your size bra.

Money doesen't buy happiness
...But it sure helps.

Budget your life accordingly. You don't have to be ultra rich, but while money doesn't buy you happiness, money does buy you a roof over your head, food in your stomach, gas in your car, also the car, and countless other things. Be satisfied with what you have, but never pretend money has zero value to happiness. Money is an important part of human life, always ensure you have enough of it.

Having money doesn't mean much

Always aim for the head.

Don't make brownies with bananas instead of eggs unless you're ready to face the long battle ahead.

Think before you speak online. Think through it ALOT.

Get an early start in life, with everything, from school to personal growth to knowledge to building relationships. It pays off.

Do stupid stuff if it makes you happy. Not like, "I'm going to go to a school dance/public event/private event/wedding/whatever drunk!" stupid, but like, "I'm bored so I'm going to try and freeze mentos and Pez into diet coke ice cubes!" or, "Let's dick around and annoy people on X online game!"

Don't stress! :D

Pain is temporary, pride is forever.

Do not regret something has to end. Be thankful for having the experience at all.

Forgive, but never forget.

In a group, you are only as strong as the weakest person.

Do not fear failure and mistakes, as that is how all lessons are learned.

Relating to big projects:

Fail faster. In an idea's earlier stages, get as many opinions and critiques on it as you possibly can. Find out what works and what doesn't before investing time/effort/resources/people/money into it. No one get's it right on the first try.

Friends come and go, family is forever.

On that note, cherish the time you have with family, you never know when that time with them will end.
