The owner was calling for her, Ai-san. It was now her turn to be set up with a room. Yosei have attuned hearing to all tones for the importance of music. However in her human form she couldn't hear nearly as well. The Yosei can hear the wind and water's singing. Of course, the singing are from Sprites, such tiny creatures are hard to hear and none at all to be heard from humans.
Shiki took in a long deep breath of nature around her, letting the freshness of the wilderness fill her lungs and slowly exhaled. She loved being outside in the cool air rather than the pollution of the city poison crawl inside her.
Now that was the real daemon.

As a habit, she checked her surroundings for any possible lurking eyes. Even though she knew she didn't have to check around for any humans, she hasn't let her True Form out for a couple years and so she felt... naked in it.
No detectable peeking found. Shiki let herself fall out of the tree branch, transformed back to her human self half way down and landed gracefully on the ground. Quickly letting her bags follow her behind, she felt comfortable in her human form, long wavy brown hair with brown eyes to match.

The cute owner, as disheveled as he looked but so adorable, handed her a key with the number 6 on it. At least that's what she could depict from the old antique looking thing. She couldn't help but giggle at him for his clumsy ways and there was a green streak in his hair.
"
You know, I have leaves for that later when you have time to settle down." She winked at him and waited patiently to be shown to her room.

Tatsuo waited his turn patiently, as in he found other distractions to take up the time it would take for the owner of the Onsen to get to him ad mist all the other guests. It seemed to be quite the popular little place. A good symbol of status for the place. Tatsuo could only hope that the rest of the Onsen seemed as lovely as this room. He bowed to the little miss who was being led away to her room, "Of course~. I can't see how I couldn't make myself at home here, thank you." he straightened out and nodded to the one eyed, presumably owner but perhaps an oversee-er of the Onsen.

He seemed like a frazzled individual, but Tatsuo supposed that were he to have customers waiting on him before they could enjoy a dip into the wonderful hot springs he might be a bit out of his usual sorts as well.

But then again, he wasn't a dragon that got tense easily, ah the joys of being calm and centered. That wasn't to say he never got fired up about things, mainly he had just been too exhausted lately to care enough.

Which was why he was at this lovely Onsen. With the storms dying down he could finally hope to unwind himself and rest for a time. He hoped.

Then again, he wasn't opposed to a little excitement either--Which come to think of it--his dark eyes caught the cat that had hopped down onto the floor, only to jump right back up to the front desk and look at him with those piercing eyes.

"Why~ what a magnificent creature you are~" he chimed and counted the tails--was it Kitsune or Nekos who counted centuries with Tails? Goodness he couldn't remember anymore but he reached out to let the little furry thing sniff him, "A pleasure to meet--"

And then the purry little fluffy ball had jumped back down to the ground and found his tail to be utterly and completely captivating. Tatsuo couldn't help but chuckle in his baritone voice and flick his deep purple tail back and forth for the cat demon to chase. He was highly amused to watch the fluffy creature bat at his tail while he could barely contain the soft coos that came when a cute fluffy critter was being utterly adorable.

"MY goodness! You're just the cutest thing here aren't you~?" he chimed and leaned over to offer his fingers again, "May I be so honored as to have the chance to pet you, dear cat?"

"Room eight. To the right," Keir echoed, showing the young master that he'd been paying attention. However, for a new person to the onsen, the location of the bath could be easily found by simply reading the signs. This was something Keir had learned a long time ago; he'd been to this wonderfully relaxing little slice of heaven so many times that he doubted there was a part of the onsen that he hadn't already explored.

Actually, it was a little strange that Hikaru hadn't been told ahead of time about 'Baek-san'. Keir made a mental note to ask the young master later about the situation, though he figured it would be fun to be treated like just a regular guest this time around so he had no intention of explaining to anyone that he was one of the onsen's most valued business partners.

Sliding open the door to his room, he breathed in the scent of fresk oak and pine and smiled a little when he caught a hint of pumpkin spices like nutmeg and cinnamon floating on the air. Whether or not she was even here, Mrs. Seidou had made sure that his room encompassed his favorite aromas. The demon couldn't help but smile a little sheepishly.

Then he set his suitcase down by the bed and opened it up to find one of the yukata he'd brought with him. The car ride up here had been a long and uncomfortable one. He'd taken a taxi because his usual limo was just...too much sometimes. So needless to say, his limbs were feeling tired and sore from being cramped and forced to remain still. A nice hot soak in the springs would do the trick and it was the very first thing on his To Do list.

So naturally he began to change, dancing a little on the spot to a song stuck in his head while he tugged off his jacket and tie and unbuttoned his dress shirt. He couldn't wait to lounge in a yukata or a pair of jeans and a band t-shirt. He even sang a little, shoulders rolling, hips swaying, a happy little smile on his lips just like a kid singing in the shower.

Thankfully he was actually quite good at singing and even better at dancing because, well, he'd forgotten to close the door behind him.

"Sorry. What?" Hikaru had lost all sense of time for the moment, really he had. He blinked quickly. "Leaves?" Now he just looked confused. "Ooooh, are you a nature spirit, miss?" Hikaru hustled down the hallway towards the rooms. At least he was comfortable now in his yukata and zori, he seemed much more at ease with his change in clothes. Certainly more in control of the situation.

"Here you are, this is your room." He looked up, brushing a blond curl out of his face. "Room Six." Over the door was a little brass plate with the number six impressed on it in several different variations for all the various languages that were spoke there at the Onsen. "Ahhhn." Hikaru considered for a moment and bowed. "Please enjoy your stay, Miss. Make yourself at home, the baths and the hotsprings are down the hallway and the women's is to the ..." He stammered a bit, his head emptying of all thought, even though he'd said if a few times today.

"To the left!" Hikaru blurted, his voice breaking a little as all his brains came back and made themselves useful. "If there's anything you need please ask!" He smiled at her and bowed again before trotting off towards the front.

So many people! Hikaru's world was spinning out of control.

Such a silly desire, wanting to the chase that tail as it flicked back and forth. But Sou couldn't help himself, hard wired instinct just made it... something he had to do. It didn't help that this "man" smelled so nice, like a lazy, rainy evening. It made the golden cat purr and happily hop around in pursuit of his "toy."

He returned to reality as the other leaned and complimented him again. It was the typical kind of compliment he received while in this form, the kind he was used to, but what he wasn't used to was being asked if it was alright to pet him. Most people don't do that, they just suddenly scratch and rub however they like; something that seriously annoyed the cat demon. But being asked so nicely, after such sincere compliments, how could he turn the dragon down?

So, Soutamaru stepped closer, rubbing the side of his head against the hand to give him the Okay. He was capable of regular speech in cat form, just like he could walk on hind legs (part of the perks of being a demon), but he usually chose not to. Talking and walking on twos just felt so unnatural. So much could be communicated without words, anyway.

Soon enough, while still enjoying the petting, he noticed the soft padding of steps nearing from down the hall. Hikaru's most likely, and judging from the sound, he'd switched out of those geta he had been so very clumsy in. That was too bad... for Sou, anyway. It'd been so amusing to watch Hikaru nearly trip over himself with every step.

Shiki blushed and bowed her head a little when the owner mentioned her other worldly heritage. "Something like that."
Peering at him as they walked, she noticed he looked much more calm in his yukata. There was an air about him that set her at ease along with him. Considering how big inside the ryokan is compared to the exterior, the walk was short lived as they arrived in front of room number 6. On the door she could see different languages and the number six impression in brass. Very nice antique look, the place reminded her of those medieval/romance novels in days of old she loves to read. It gave her quite the breath of fresh air coming from a city full of pollution.

The owner gave her a start as he blurted out where the women's bath were located, it put Shiki's hand to her chest. Even though she came from a busy part of her life to come here the ride had been long and quiet that she nearly forgot what sudden out bursts sounded like. It made her giggle. This place was very much alive when
monsters get together. It felt like a family reunion and it put a smile on her face. She was home.

The owner started to trot off very swiftly, Shiki was going to ask him when his free time would be so she could serve him her famous tea to fix that adorable little streak in his hair. She smiled again seeing him off. Maybe it's best if she let him tend to the other guests first, there seemed to be a pile of them coming in.

Before Shiki could begin unpacking there was a slight sound coming from around the corner of her room. Quickly transforming into her Faerie form the sound became clear. Someone was humming a tune, and very nicely. Forgetting about her form she followed the heavenly sound, eyes closed, she stopped once he, the one humming a tune, sounded like he was right next to her. Letting the music take over, Shiki began to sway as if about to dance with not a care in the world.

Tatsuo smiled brightly as he watched the cat play with his tail, so many memories of dear cat demons from years ago coming to dance in the light of the dragon's dark eyes. They flickered silver with the memories as he let the cat nuzzle his hand. Oh yes, this was how to address a cat--Tatsuo was sad he had no token of esteem he could offer to the furry creature. All in good time he was certain. He stroked the cat across his head, a smile on his face as he took great joy in stroking him down to the tip of his tail. Too many people did not know the simple joys of life, they took off too quickly, let the rush of life take them and never let go.

But then, not every creature had eternity, and many of them did not have his sort of luck. Ah well, perhaps if the Onsen was worthy of it he would bid his blessing on the place.

Tatsuo shook his head and turned his attentions back to the cat demon, "I've never been to this place, O Cat..." Because- when you did not know a cat's name, you always addressed them as "O Cat". It was respectful. "It seems to be quite the popular place--I was strolling by the town down the creek when I heard a whispering couple of Kameosa's talking of it's existence."

He gave a quirky grin as he scratched under the cat's chin, "'Well' I told myself, 'if I happen upon it someday I shall have to stay and see for myself.' imagine my surprise when my wanderings led me here! Clearly, my body is tired, and in need of a great rest..."

Tatsuo looked up at the sound of the foot falls against the wooden floors of the Onsen, "Hmm.." he flicked his tail up again to let the cat chase it if he so desired, Though he may end up chasing it down the hall should this be the host ready to show him to a room. "I think I shall like it here, O Cat~ especially if I can keep company with a creature as lovely as yourself~." Tatsuo continued to pet the cat demon as he waited for the arrival of the Onsen's host, asking the cat to tell him what he liked best--Cream, Salmon Paste, or some good fresh fish from market--or perhaps--a chicken! plump and juicy. It was to be expected! Tatsuo did so love the idea of food and eating.

Not all demons are bad. As long as you define "bad" as malicious and evil. And not all lust demons were good either. It was pretty much a coin toss when you met one. Luckily, Keir was anything but malicious or evil. Mischievous maybe, but not mean. A definite flirt, but he wasn't about to start kidnapping maidens and sprouting tentacles.

The thought brought a smirk to his lips as he continued to sing and dance his way out of his clothes. Long, strong fingers were just about to unbutton the clasp of his pants when he noticed he had company.

Whoops. Sometimes he forgot that even his voice could have a certain effect on others!

Smiling softly, Keir continued to sing while he inspected his lovely little guest. She seemed familiar somehow, although it was mostly just her face. Maybe she was that confused girl he'd met at the door? But her appearance was a little different now, wasn't it? He thought she looked much better like this. Just her hair alone was appealing. He imagined that running his fingers through those lockes would be akin to bare skin enveloped in silk bed sheets. And the color! Oh~ the color was delicious, reminding the demon of the mouth watering lavender hued frosting he would make once in a while for cupcakes. Her eyes were closed as she swayed to his song and he had to admit that he was considering cutting short the tune just to find out what color of gaze she would turn on him. And yet somehow he stifled the urge for the sake of admiring how her wings were like late afternoon sunbeams.

A lovely little thing she was, and try as he might, Keir just could not behave himself, not when she'd so casually invited herself into his room and was so obviously enjoying his singing. So he reached out and entwined fingers with one of her hands, his free arm linking around the small of her back.

And together they danced while he continued to fill the room with sweet lyrics and notes.

The hum changed into words, meaningful words. Yes... that is what she waiting to hear; the ultimate use of music – lyrics. Lyrics are powerful projections of persuasion, intimidation or passion depending on the use of the piece. Some Yosei used this talent for evil rather than good. Humans came up with the name Unseelie Court, but in reality Yosei were the only name for them - evil or not.</SPAN>
Shiki was well known for her voice, but retired as a singer due to the inevitable results at concerts. The songs she sang sometimes erupted into riots from the anger she had in the past, and if the song was sorrowful... there were even reports of suicides. Songs were supposed to represent the past and overcoming them, at least that was what Shiki's album was about. Just the songs themselves proved to be too powerful for Human ears.
</SPAN>
Recorded music seemed to have a much lessoned outcome, but her fans. It didn't seem right or fair to only keep herself behind the scenes. So she did the only thing she could. Quit.
</SPAN>

But hearing this voice, this beautiful masculine voice brought back both lovely and terrible memories. It didn't matter right now. The one singing intoxicated Shiki's entire being and began dancing with her, taking her hand and the small of her back. It felt like a dream... but was it?
</SPAN>

Senses coming back to reality she remembered hearing the sound and following it, not once opening her eyes.
</SPAN>
Fool! How could you let yourself fall victim to this... this... masked beauty? Concern washed over her face and fear set in - afraid of where she may find herself in and in what predicament. The hand in hers felt strong against her hand, and rightfully so this was a man's voice she heard. There was little or no escape from his grasp, even though it felt gentle she still felt threatened.
</SPAN>
Admitting there was no possible escape, Shiki slowly opened her pearl blue eyes revealing before her a very handsome man. Was he smirking at her? She couldn't tell as she looked around her whereabouts and realized she was not in her room anymore. Turning bright red and squeezing her eyes shut, she blurted out
"gomen nasai!" before crashing into the gentleman's wall.
</SPAN>
Open your eyes, dimwit! Hugging herself as if she were naked, Shiki's True Form vanished and restored her Human form back from when she first arrived at the Ryoken Onsen. Looking back once more at the man she blushed furiously and dashed down the hall back to the safety of her own room, huffing and puffing with her back against the door.

Hikaru found his rhythm after a few guests and soon with smile after smile, he had them all put into their rooms and pointed them all to their gender specific bathrooms and everyone was 'settled' as it were for the time being. It hadn't been easy and had required an unusual amount of apologies and massive amounts of blushing and stammering and the like. Hikaru was a strange one eyed young man for certain.

The afternoon was settling on into the evening and the sun was setting, the lanterns flickering to light as the forest blocked the sun's light quickly. Around the onsen was a mass on conflicting shadows caused from the lanterns and setting sun. Lights inside the onsen were also springing to life nearly all unaided.

Hikaru found himself for a moment at least, standing there with nothing to do. He took a deep breath and exhaled. The day was nearly over and nothing had happened yet! Surely that was worth something! Something wonderful... Hikaru trotted off towards the hot spring just to see if everything was alright. He had lost his sandals as well during the day. Barefeet didn't make a noise as he went to the springs and looked over the steamy water and whichever guests that were sitting there. Sake was appearing on the stone ledge surrounding the outdoor spring.

"It's going to be a beautiful evening." He sighed softly, his eye shutting before he could see the tentacle that wiggled under the water...

On the ladies side of the springs(partitioned as it were with bamboo fencing), if there were any ladies present there, they would hear a gentle murmuring from the men's side and then a soft current would move past them and perhaps give them a light caress.

Ryuuk dragged its feet, as it made its way in the luscious forest trees. Ryuuk's body almost swayed as it walked, as though its movements were made to the beat of an unknown song, which only played for Ryuuk. The creature began to move its hands around as it took each step. The arm gestures where graceful and dramatic, as if telling a story. With a grin, the corpse moved a little faster, a traditional Japanese tune pressed against its lips, before spilling into a lyrics of an ancient song.

Ryuuk picked up the pace when he saw the onsen, dancing faster until Ryuuk reached the wooden panels of the first step. Halting to a stop Ryuuk gazed at the building, hoping its memory had severed correct. Ryuuk's fingers traced along the eye patch that Ryuuk wore, as it took the few steps to the door. Ryuuk entered the building, placing a hand on the stomach then rubbed.

Ryuuk stood in the door way, before taking a few steps further into the building. It's wooden sandals clacking as it moved. It looked around taking in the place, Ryuuk grinned remembering parts of it, Ryuuk had made it to the right place. Ryuuk could feel its aura relaxing and de-stressing just by being the Onsen. "Kon'nichiwa? Dare ka koko ni?"
(hello?anyone here?)Ryuuk called as it peered around the first room.

Sou wasn't thinking as deeply as trying to win the favor of the dragon to receive blessings for himself or the Onsen. In fact, he wasn't thinking much at all at this point. His brain had gone into pure cat mode as the being with the lovely scent petted his fur and rubbed under his chin. He sure knew how to pet a kitty... no pun intended.

He became a little more mindful as the the dragon spoke, meeting his gaze with cat eyes that reflected understanding. Surely, a rain dragon would love the water's of the Onsen, but Sou didn't need to tell him that, he'd experience it himself soon enough. The cat only purred and returned to pawing at that tail until the question was asked. He really shouldn't even think of accepting gives from Onsen customers, but honestly... how could he resist? "Hmm..." the sound came out sounding mostly like a purr. "Cream... or sushi~," he finally spoke, looking up with a cat grin. More than most things, Sou had an affinity for sweets and fish. He didn't wait for a response, seeing as the dragon would be shown to his room soon. The gold-ish cat chose then to scurry off, hopping onto a windowsill and squeezing through it's opening.

The rest of the afternoon, Sou spent sleeping away, napping in some of his favorite places. The Onsen roof, a lovely tree branch near the springs (but not close enough to actually see anyone nude), and a few windowsills. As the evening began to settle in he felt more awake, and figured it was time to get to some actually work. The cat yawned and hopped through a window, weaving though the halls until he was back to his room. There, he changed into his human form with a puff of smoke and dressed himself in a simple, plaid yukata. He hated shoes, it was better to feel the ground under his feet, but he got a scolding once for tracking muddy foot prints all the way back to his room. So, he picked up his simple sandals and carried them to the front door, pausing as he noticed another guess arriving. "Someone will arrive to help you in just a moment," he told the new arrival before continuing to head out the door, where he slipped on his sandals.

First chore, the leaves on the front path, and as pretty as they were, someone could slip and fall. As funny as that would be, it was bad for business. So, Sou took up a boom and started to sweep them from the main path and onto the areas of bare earth on either side.

Riley slowly crawled though the woods, paws aching from the long journey. As his inky tail hung with the air of exhaustion about him, his shadowy form nearly hugged the ground. Golden eyes frantically jumped around once he cleared the last hill, and the sigh of relief he gave at the sight of the Onsen made him fall on his belly. With the last little bit of energy he had ebbing away with each step, Riley finally fell in the doorway and looked up into the lit building. He looked around for someone before noticing he'd walked straight past a man who was sweeping the path he'd completely ignored.
"Hey..." The panther began to speak. "Is this the hotel?" He said in a sort of naive way. He lay there exhausted, eyes barely hanging open. He could barely move. He ached down to his claws. If this wasn't the place he'd probably keel over from exhaustion.

Hikaru was never going to have time to himself again, he realized with a sinking heart. There was just so many people! Perhaps this was the reason why his parents had just abandoned him like this?! More people. Always so many people! He wanted to sink into the water and hide but instead he went out, racing down the hallway to say hello.

Or at least that was his intention. He ended up panting heavy and clinging to the hallway. Hikaru realized with a sinking heart that he was rather out of shape. Sweat dribbled down his face and into his one massive eye. He blinked the stinging sweat away.

"Go-Good Evening! Please! Ahhhhn. Haaa." He panted and limped to the desk. "Please sign your name here and I will take you to your room! I'm Hikaru, the son of the owner's and I'll be taking care of you here." The sun had sunk and the gloom of the evening was spreading dark blue over the sky and the barest twinkle of stars were coming out.

Hikaru wasn't the best at this, that was certain.

And now there was a man on the floor.

"Help! Sou-san! Can you help this Mister up and find him something to drink while I take this man to his room?" Hikaru's voice was cracking with nerves. He wasn't meant to run an Onsen.

Ryuuk nodded towards the cat creature which addressed Ryuuk and stood there rubbing its belly. Ryuuk watched as another cat like creature entered the building. Raising its brows curious, the Zombie said nothing and allowed the other creature to go first. Ryuuk decided to keep its human form until it was in private or in a place where permitted.

Ryuuk watched the boy appear and give orders to them. Ryuuk continued to rub its belly as it stepped forward towards the desk. Picking up the pen, signed in perfect penmanship it's name. Before turning to face the boy. A grin on its face, it's hand never leaving its belly, it addressed the boy. "Does one get its own private room or share a room with others?" It's voice was low yet feminine, soothing yet distant. (Sorta like Him's voice from the power puff girls, if you've seen it) Slowly allowing it's transition from humanoid to a Nuribotoke, its voice being one sign, and the scent it's decaying odour starting to become stronger.

The faint smell of rotting flesh was instantly in Hikaru's small petite nose. He didn't choke or gag though, there was a bit of a worried look but hadn't his parents prepared for this?

"No Sir." He gave the man a smile and Hikaru could smile through anything. That wide sweet eye and little curving mouth and fair, delicate skin. "If you'll come with me, I'll show you to your room." He wouldn't say that they were going to be as far away from everyone as possible and stuffed full of odor absorbing charcoal and volcanic rock. The room was built for stinky guests.

The Onsen was prepared.

Hikaru led the way down a hallway, it was not the same hallway he had taken the other guests down. The wing of troubles, Hikaru mused in his head. Yes, that would be where he stuck this rotting man. Hikaru knew there was so many types of Monsters but he'd never bothered to learn them all. Japan was open so it would be moot, why try to remember Japanese and Chinese Monsters when there was a whole world to remember?!

"Here you are sir. You've got a lovely view of the inner and outer gardens." Windows everywhere. The room smelled fresh and crisp as an early winter day. He gave the man a smile. "Please, make yourself at home." Hikaru bowed.

Riley stood on all four of his aching, trembling limbs and and wobbled inside. As he crossed the threshold into the building, his black figure seemed to melt together into a shadowy, formless figure. For a moment it swirled about before reconstituting his human form. He hobbled over to the nearest chair and fell into it, breathing heavily.
The exhaustion he felt was evident on his face. "Could I please get something to eat? A piece of bread maybe? And a glass of water?" Riley's stomach growled and he clutched it. Something about this place seemed deterred animals, so there had been anything to eat for miles. Or perhaps he'd just been very unlucky. He was stressed, exhausted, and hungry and all he could think about was how he hadn't had a good American hamburger in over a week.

He'd traveled all the way from the opposite end of the island by foot. He'd taken it as an opportunity to stretch his paws, since he rarely ever had the time to just roam as he pleased. The first two days had been easy, and in fact very pleasant. He'd made decent pace and had plenty to eat when the need arose. But then on the third day he was lost, went off course and lost a whole day of traveling. So instead of stopping in town a day early, Riley steamed along the whole way until he finally arrived. Remembering he was carrying cash on him, he reached into a pocket on his coat and produced a twenty dollar bill, not realizing he hadn't exchanged his currency yet and could buy nothing with it. "I-I can pay..."

Shadows were dancing along the walls and Baek Keir had the cutest little scene playing out in his head. It involved a very specific feline pouncing and pawing at the moving splotches of dark with a tail swishing either with amusement or annoyance that the shadows were just too unattainable. For a brief moment, the demon wondered where Soutamaru was and what the cat might have been up to. But then the thought passed as he concentrated on finishing getting dressed.

The plan had been to experience the springs as soon as he arrived, though Keir had decided instead on a short nap, just so that he could be awake and lively later in the evening. He had yet to visit said springs, and he supposed it might be a bit before he actually got around to it. After all, he was a social butterfly, and he very much wished to meet some of the other guests he hadn't already met.

Oh, and hunt down that adorable dance partner of his.

She'd left in such a hurry, in such a state of upheaval and embarrassment, that he hadn't even gotten a word in. No matter. If she was staying at the onsen for at least a day, he would run into her eventually and then they could talk.

His fingers finished tying the cream-colored obi around his waist and he turned to inspect himself in the mirror. Keir smiled a little, admiring the handiwork of a friend of his, fingertips gliding over a soft-plum colored fabric decorated with a faded white fish print. His friend, an elderly banshee who hides in her house and makes the most beautiful yukata and kimono, had insisted Keir wear this yukata and she was right - the color did suit him well. And now that he was decent, and dressed for the setting, all that was left for him to do was to go make some new friends. And pester some old.

So with sandals in hand, the demon left his room and wandered down the hallway in search of someone to converse with.

Sou flinched as his name was called from inside the open doorway. With a small, magical *poof* his human-like ears became cat ears again, twitching on top of his head as a sign of his annoyance. Really, that boy was still so easily overwhelmed. It was only two customers, although, one was smelly and the other was a fool who had apparently made a long trek without packing necessary survival supplies....

"Yeah yeah, I'm on it," he said as he rested this broom against the wall and stepped inside, slipping sandals off once again. He paused though as the man pulled a bill from his pocket, eyeing the strange looking piece of dull green paper. American money? He hadn't even transferred his currency while traveling in a foreign land? Soutamaru was no world traveler, but even he knew that was foolish. "Just... hold onto that for now," he muttered, then turned on his heel to head down the hallway towards the kitchen, only to find a familiar face wandering down the hallway. Damn, shouldn't he be in the waters by now? Thought the nekomata.... Dealing with pervert Baek in this form was a recipe for disaster. Without having much of a plan at this point, he suddenly sprinted passed the lust demon with the lithe of a feline and made a swift turn down another hall and to the kitchen.

He fetched a cup water and grabbed a small loft of bread before returning to the front, taking the outside path this time. "Here you go," he said as he handed the water and bread to the newcomer. "Enjoy your stay," he spoke plainly, not even sure if the man planned to stay for a night.

Riley tilted his head at the strange reaction of the man with the cat ears. What was wrong with his money? It looked- He put the money back in his pocket and allowed his face to fall and hit the table he sat at. "I am such a moron." He sighed slowly. "I can't even get away from the goddamned lawyers without more problems." Riley removed his hat and set it beside him on the table before holding his head. "Ughh... Money will be the death of me." He began to massage his temples.

Ever since he'd first been dragged to court two years ago he'd never seen the end of it. Money, money, money. He hated it now. He'd planned on just coming here and relaxing but it seemed he had more money troubles to work out.
He looked up when the man returned and thanked him profusely for the water and bread. "Thank you... Really, thank you." He continued to thank him even as he drank and ate, laying back into his chair with a sigh.
