You are a monster hunter. You might be a generalist or might be best known for dealing with a particular style of creatures, such as devils or the undead. Your motives might be as simple as money, as normal as revenge, or as complex as fighting your own bloodline. Whatever the reasons, you are good at your job and such a mysterious invitation is quite normal. What's not normal, all these other hunters. What purpose is there bring you all to one place? Our setting is a large manor deep in a mysterious wooded mountain region. The time period is vaguely 1800s. There's guns and trains but no airplanes or cell phones.
