The last hope of the withering world had finally succumbed to wrath of the sibling Androids. He being the only thing standing between humanity and them. The attacks were bound to get worse; and they did as the weeks passed. East City had been completely destroyed in the aftermath of the battle with the belated lavender haired hero. Radio and televised contact had been wiped clean, and most of the world remained blind to the next wave of attacks. The cackling duo enjoying their joy ride to their latest target; West City.

The alarms had been sounding, Marie still unsure if the echoing panic was part of her dream or that of reality. The sudden shudder against the withered building was the final push to stir her from her slumber. Blue eyes opening wide at the array of red and orange that danced outside her window: were they being attacked? A familiar cackling could be heard outside her covered window, memories of past attacks flooding through her thoughts; it was them. Without another thought, she dressed quickly, she slipping on a pair of shoes, exiting her apartment, and began her descent down the empty stairway. Every now and then a shudder would rack the crumbling complex, causing Marie to hug the wall tightly. Reaching the last row of stairs, and soon after a door leading to the bottom stairwell appeared in sight.

Leaning against the battered door, a silent prayer was made for whatever God still existed, digits slowing beginning to turn the knob of the door before she began to pull it open. Of course it would screech with every tug, stopping about half-way, she peeked out to find an empty alleyway. Seeing as all was clear, she began inching her way down the narrowed path. A scream would sound, as would a loud a explosion. Horrible as it might be, it came from the opposite direction, giving her ample opportunity to avoid them all together. Just as she rounded the corner a deadly pair of aqua eyes stared her down. Clad arms crossed over a long-sleeved shirt reading the familiar 'RR' across it. " Going somewhere...?" A smirk spread across his youthful face; someone new to play with.
