*giggles* It's no trouble at all. I oftentimes try to help my fellow writers out with their plots. Not only does it help them keep their story straight as a GM, but it also helps me keep my brain going strong. I seem to be good at helping others with their ideas, but I'm not so good at coming up with enough for myself. I find it best to have more than one mind to work on a plot so that the players/readers have enough to entertain them.

The plot development, just like character development, will have to wait until tomorrow, though. As I said before, I have a terrible headache, and it's late. I need to try and get some sleep. Add that to my poor kitty finding a mosquito only to not be able to catch it, and I have an adorably whiny furbaby on my hands. <3 She keeps coming to me every couple of minutes to try and get me to pull the bug down. So cute...but so time consuming.

Good evening, everyone! I look forward to RPing with all of you. My fire will burn strong; of that I am sure. :3

Place of Birth
The great country of Odeair rests peacefully between the mountains of the North East and the Washiba Sea, its capital city at its heartland, a beautiful valley with sparkling rivers and fields of gold. Due to the volcanic activity South West of this city, named Haandur after the ancient royal family, and the vast amounts of seaweed coming in from the sea in the North East, the land is always fertile and prosperous. Great trees surround the country, some even rising along the edges of the mountains to cast shadows upon the wintery peaks. But because of the great wealth of this nation, many have tried to claim it for their own. Due to this, Odeair finds itself oftentimes at war with those outside the mountains.

Odeair is a nation of wealth and prosperity, sharing only with those who can provide something in return. Their fertile lands grow only the finest of fruits and vegetables, some of which can only be found in this grand nation. The strange weather that grows from hot and dry to cold and wet had originally left the country half starved and in poverty, save for one thing they still had. Gems. Beneath the hot stone forming from the frequent volcanic activity, shimmering gems such as sapphires, the boldest rubies, and the most perfect of diamonds. It was this fertility of stone that allowed Odeair to create a treaty with a single neighboring country, Aitrivon. The country just outside the mountains was that of great scholars and scientists, who were able to create a system that would help keep all of the soils fertile using a mixture of lava stone ashes and seaweed. This system, which filtered and stored enough water to last every dry season, gave the land the ability to grow the finest of foods. For over a century, merchants from Aitrivon carrying items needed for the upkeep of this equipment as well as various things found only by the Archivists of the nation have been escorted by armed soldiers as well as an ambassador hand picked by the king to the city of Haandur where their goods could be seen by the royal family, inspected by technicians, and then traded for the finest gems and grown foods in Odeair. Odeair, having a good military base to keep their wealth safe from thieves, have also been the official guards of Aitrivon since the treaty was signed.

Asha was born and raised within the walls of Haandur, her family of great nobility and having high standing with the Royal Tuter (Too-share) family. Only when she married did she decide to live in the outskirts of this city in the golden fields of Tyvera.

Relationships
Captain Lycarnus Destrey || Husband || Deceased
Mere months before the story, Captain Destrey went off to fight for his country, leaving the one thing he loved most behind in hopes of returning. Soon after, the young Lady Destrey was distraught to hear that her husband died valiantly on the battlefield with her name on his lips.

Duke Haiundas Vladimere || Father || 44
This unseemly man, whose mind was set on putting his daughter at higher esteems than the wife of a mere captain, has lived with no communication from Asha in eight years, since she was disowned by her father.

Duchess Clair Vladimere || Mother || 41
By contrast to her husband, Duchess Clair still has a wondrous relationship with her daughter, who she supported since the beginning of the relationship with the Captain. She typically visits Asha once per month, always on a Sunday.

Lady Syri Tuter || Sister || 20
Unlike Asha, Syri did just as her father commanded, finding herself a man who did not even join the army, instead running it. Prince James Tuter was a strong and noble man, treating his lady with dignity. But Syri does not live a life of love as Asha does, and thus finds more comfort spending time in the little plot of land owned by the Destrey family. Unfortunately, with darkness on the horizon, the wife of the prince is forbidden to leave the sanctuary of the castle.

Lieutenant Cormak Vladimere || Brother || 18
As required by the royal family, Cormak's fate was written out for him the moment he was claimed a boy. At age 16, he was pushed into the rankings of the King's Army, and since then has skyrocketed through the ranks. Until recently, he served beneath the command of one Captain Destrey, but now on the verge of becoming Captain, himself, Cormak serves beneath one of the three King's Generals in hopes of achieving his dream of helping run the armies. He has not seen or heard from Asha since the death of Captain Destrey.

Kazumo || Pet Ferret
On one of his travels, Lycarnus had come across an odd little creature resembling a weasel but with red fur and a mask of white. He was tiny, only a baby, and he had no home to go to. So, knowing his beloved wife would adore the creature, the Captain took the weasel home. This creature, named Kazumo, would grow to be three feet from tip to tail and seemingly impervious to fire. The Destreys believe he was a gift from the Ancient Spirits who found his way through fate to them. Kazumo will almost always be seen draping himself like a scarf around Asha's neck.

Physical Attributes

Height 5'6" (approx 168 cm)
Weight 115 lb (approx 52 kg)
Hair White
Eyes Gold

Dexterity Flexible as Fire

Typical Clothing & Equipment
  • Formal - Kimono
    • The typical formal-wear of this particular lady has always been a little different from those of her social standing. Adorning her body on any formal occasion is the beautiful black and gold kimono (seen in first image) with images suggesting the majesty of the Eastern Dragon. Though living in a country where the Orientals are almost looked upon as savages, Asha finds the traditional kimono to be comfortable and effectively elegant. No other noblewoman would be able to pull it off.
  • Casual - Lady's Gown
    • By contrast, Asha's casual-wear is much more European. With a form-fitting top fixated with elegant designs fit for a lady of her status and a long skirt that reaches down to her ankles, this dress screams European. However, upon her gaining entry as one of the ten warriors, this very outfit will become a modified version to allow for more comfort and maneuverability. This outfit comes complete with black gloves that reach only to the wrist (which is typically only seen on her right hand with no explanation of why) and leggings that stretch from her feet to her mid-thigh. From the heels of a lady, she will switch to the black boots of an adventuring soldier. See second image for appearance of casual wear after transformation.
On her Person -
  • Always will one see two books carried with Asha: the book titled Wings of Fire and the book titled Winds of the Ancestors. No one has ever seen or heard of these titles, and these are the only copies available. However, as Asha is extremely close to these pages, none have seen the words written upon them.
  • On her left ring finger rests the beautiful fire ruby of her past marriage. Still resting heavily on her heart, Asha has refused to remove her ring and her last name, holding strong to the memory of her past husband.
  • Tied into her long white hair or in a bow around her left wrist is a shimmering golden ribbon that was granted to her by her mother as blessing. The edges have slowly begun to fray, and the gold thread is showing the wear and tear of eight years. However, this ribbon never parts with Asha.
  • Around her neck is a long silver chain - the only silver seen on Asha's body at any point in time. Dangling from the chain, though typically beneath her blouse, is a sparkling sapphire wrapped in diamonds. This stone, as well as the chain which bears it, is the semblance of Asha's sister, a gift given to her by the Prince upon his marriage with Syri.
  • Around her waist is the crimson sash of a soldier, the first granted to her young brother when he went to war beneath Captain Destrey. Upon her husband's death, Cormak was given a sash of gold, and to honor his sister, he gave her the one that marked him as a soldier of her husband. Like those who symbolize her other family members, this sash never leaves her person. Unlike the others, this serves more of a purpose than a simple remembrance of family, for within the thick, soft fabric is a jeweled dagger - a gift of protection from her brother and the many brothers she had known who served beneath the Captain.
  • Attached to a belt beneath the sash is a small pouch filled with different, short sticks of handmade incense as well as a ritualistic burner and matches to light them. These sticks are made by Asha when she has the materials and bought when she does not, and every day a particular scent is burned, depending on what she needs the most.

Power
Element Fire

First Power The Archon
When in a great deal of emotional distress, Asha loses all control of her fire, her body transforming into the spirit of her element. Her white hair becomes golden flames, and her bright skin darkens into what might appear to be smooth, black stone with glowing, fiery runes covering her. She becomes covered in a cloak of fire that burns any who dare touch her, and a great mass of fiery wings spreads from her back. She has absolutely no control over this power, and where it may appear to be powerful on the outside, it can also be devastating within, tearing away at the internal parts that are not immune to fire and sucking away the life force that is her power.

Second Power Summoning of the Flame
This power, which can be harnessed within either dragon or human form, is the closest thing Asha currently has to a breath weapon. In human form, she must put her hands over her mouth to make what might be a tube to breath the fire out (think Natsu from Fairy Tail). In dragon form, it is as simple and easy as breathing air. At first, the flame that spreads from her breath is a normal fire, bending and turning and twisting in all directions dangerously. But within seconds, a shape begins to form from the fire. The shape is always different, though typically some sort of mammal and very rarely the shape of a dragon, and the power of the creature summoned from the flames depends on the animal it represents. These creatures, like fire, must breathe, eat, and spread. They are living beings made entirely of Asha's fire. However, they can only last as long as Asha's internal power can sustain them. Then, they will disappear in a flash of golden flames.

Personality & Attributes
Personality
. . .Fiery\\Hot-headed. . .
Asha is still young in many aspects, including the aspect of her temper, which can flare up at any point in time. She does not like snide comments or mentions of her odd appearance. On the rare ocassion, she might even heat up over a strange look. Her hot temper and headstrong standing have many times over gotten her in trouble, particularly in her social standing, but this has never seemed to stop her before. And with new powers unlocking within her, her temper has begun to make her an even deadlier foe.

. . .Stubborn\\Opinionated. . .
With a thick skull and constant opinions on matters that are not of her business, Asha can make for an incredibly annoying ally at times. Like fire, she does not go out without a fight, even when she knows she is wrong. This can also go back to her hot temper, which will easily flare due to her stubborn nature. It is very hard, indeed, to get this woman to open her mind to the ideas of others.

. . .Strong\\Willful. . .
In some cases, Asha's stubborness can be the best thing for her, making her strong under the face of adversity. When she fails, she gets up and tries again and again. She never gives up on anything or anyone once gaining the faith in them. She sees her life as one big battle to be fought and won. Nothing and no one can bring her down.

. . .Complex\\Impenetrable. . .
With a mind full of strange, odd thoughts and eyes that watch always from a distance, it is hard not to wonder what's going on with this woman. Her face is a mask of charred stone, and all one can see when trying to look through is a wall of golden fire. Though young, she is the very essence of a human labryrinthe, maze upon maze winding through the fiery thoughts of a spirit trapped in her own stony shell. Whether or not she will be willing to allow her thoughts to break through rests solely on her decision.

. . .Wise\\Philosophical\\Brooding. . .
Though young and headstrong, there are many moments where Asha steps outside herself, turning the other way and speaking thoughts that one would deem very wise for her years. She can oftentimes be caught thinking alone, perhaps even muttering something to herself while drinking a hot cup of tea. It is of these thinkings that her wisdom comes, for she might just be talking to the spirit within her that seperates her from simple mortals. After all, the dragon, itself, is an entirely different entity.

Likes
  • Tea - Not just any tea, but hot Black Licorice tea with a single scoop of honey and two spoonfuls of sugar
  • Heat - She loves a hot, sunny day and the warmth of a fire.
  • Sunlight - Preferably that which is unencumbered by the weight of dismal clouds
  • The Sea - Smelling the breeze of salt water and hearing the sounds of gulls on the wind
  • Wheat - Seeing oceans of golden wheat always brings a smile to Asha's face.
  • Incense - Sandalwood for the creation of Sanctuary. Cedarwood for Strength. Frankincense for peace and stress relief. Myrrh for bringing peace to those lost.
  • Animals - Any and all animals, which she seems to have an affinity to. Perhaps it is because the spirit within her also lives and breathes. Animals are, by far, her favorite thing in the world.
  • Freedom - Ranking a close second to animals, Asha truly loves to be free. To see the open skies and look out for miles and see no walls. To take her freedom is to take away her fire.
Dislikes
  • War - For it is the death of her beloved
  • Cold - This can physically weaken Asha, to the point of possibly putting out her fire. Think of it as the tail of a Charmander. As such, she absolutely and utterly hates it.
  • Darkness - Where she sometimes enjoys the moonlight, Asha hates darkness and shadow, feeling herself trapped within its walls of black. This hatred drives her to even dislike the color black, despite this being the color she is seen wearing the most of. Perhaps it is time for a change in wardrobe?
  • Unnatural Death - For obvious reasons
  • Arrogance - It is the cruel death of all men, in Asha's eyes
  • Betrayal - Asha's philosophy is loyalty is key to any relationship, and betrayal is the destruction of the world. It would be wise to never betray this fiery spirit.
  • Restriction or Constraint - Asha hates the thought of being caged in any form or manner, so restrictions on what she can and cannot do won't really go over well.
  • Rude Behavior - Being a lady leaves one with little patience for the lack of manners. Any sort of rudeness when speaking to her might set off her temper.
Product-Page-Divider.png
Goals
Fulfill her duty in this life before seeing her beloved in the next
Hobbies & Interests
  • Making Incense - If she has the necessary materials, Asha truly enjoys the tranquility that ensues when she makes and burns incesnse.
  • Making Tea - Just like incense, the art of brewing a good pot of tea and drinking a warm glass beside a warm fire is true sanctuary.
  • Painting - All ladies must learn some sort of fine art, and because Asha had no ability in music, she chose the art of drawing and painting. Though she is not the best of painters, she has proven to have a fantastic mind. Perhaps this has something to do with her dreams?

Regular Routine
With her husband gone, Asha's routine has fallen away. Her usual day now is chaotic, starting with her dressing and ending with her falling asleep alone. These days, she simply wishes to find a way to make her own money instead of relying on the money received from the king as atonement for the death of her husband.
Philosophy of Life
All life is Sacred and should be treated as such.
Attitude Toward Death
It is a means of travelling to a new life - the soul forever lives on.
Beliefs
Souls are the true power of the world - there is nothing stronger
Strange Behaviors See Personality

Most Memorable Experience
The news of the death of her husband will sit upon the heart of this young spirit for the rest of her life, bringing her to the height of her understanding of the world and helping her realize where she needs to be in hopes of making herself worthy of seeing him in the next world. Seeing his body rest upon the funeral pyre left her feeling empty and lost within, but now she hopes to find a new determination. To see him again, she knows she must become a better person.
Sexual Values
Heterosexual - Sex is the love of two people brought to the light of the physical world. It is the creation of life and the cycle of bringing another soul to the next life.

Product-Page-Divider.png
Strengths
  • Animal Taming - Having a natural love and affinity of animals, Asha will try almost anything to tame something that others would deem wild.
  • Cooking - Having been a happily married woman for almost eight years, Asha has become a fine cook. Being the wife of a soldier, she has learned to be flexible in this, even able to cook a fine meal over the open fire of a simple camp.
  • Sewing - How can one's outfit change from elegant to functional? Well, someone has to know how to sew, and having a man who always came home with holes and tears in his fine clothing has made Asha a fine seamstress.
  • Merchant - Being able to buy so much does not mean one shouldn't limit the prices of the market. Asha is a silver tongue, able to haggle her prices down at least a third, all while enjoying it.
Weaknesses
  • Feelings of Invincibility - Having a large sense of pride, particularly when dealing with wild animals, has proven many times to be too much for Asha. Her body has many scars from the beasts that were simply too wild for a sound mind to tame.
  • Cold - Cold air leaves her feeling weak and drained. Cold water leaves her feeling lethargic and possibly even sick. Any large amount of ice (typically more than a glassfull) will leave her bedridden if in human form.
  • Noblewoman Attitude - A part of Asha still has the air of nobility left within, thus making her sometimes sound more arrogant than she means to. That, and the word, "please," is still new in her vocabulary. This leaves her as a terrible team player.
  • No Experience - Having a more pacifist attitude, Asha only knows a little about wielding a dagger. She wouldn't know how to touch any other weapon, much less wield it, and she has no idea the true fears that come with war. Add this to the fact that she has never needed to survive outside the confines of a safe and happy home where the market is no more than a horse-ride away, and Asha is left with absolutely no knowledge of how to survive against nature.
Fears
  • Claustraphobia - Any type of tight or dark space leaves Asha frozen in fear.
  • Acrophobia - Though never having a traumatizing experience, Asha has a very irrational fear of heights. Flying will be interesting.
  • Kastaridaphobia - Cockroaches. She is deathly afraid of cockroaches. Especially the ones that fly.
  • Please note that these are not all of Asha's fears - simply those that are most apparent and the most irrational.

Skills & Talents See Strengths
Education & Special Training
  • Reading & Writing - Every noblewoman must learn to read and write, and Asha is no exception to this rule. Enduring years of extensive training, Asha has mastered the art of the pen.
  • Politics - Though her education is not as extensive as that of a male in her standing, Asha was taught the basics of political values as well as the social structures of her country as well as the various countries around her.
  • The Way of the Soldier - When being the wife of a soldier, it is always best to know ranks and understand the politics that rise within war. It is best to always be on one's toes when dealing with a soldier, and through the training of her husband, Asha has learned a great deal about the armies of many nations.

The Birth of a New Spirit

Clair Vladimere, age 17, was newly married to a man she did not love, trapped in the cage of the caste system like all the others of her age and gender. It was taboo to think she could marry the one she loved. But no one even knew who this man was. Socially, Clair had been courted by the young Duke Vladimere. Privately, there was a different story.

From the mountains, there came a man of white hair and fiery eyes. His dark skin was of great contrast to hers, and the air around him breathed magic and mystery. In the instant he spoke to her on the outskirts of the city, young Clair had fallen for this stranger. Their moment together had been shortlived, yet beautiful. More beautiful than any moment she would have with the Duke.

And this beauty bore a child that young Clair insisted was the duke's. After all, her short moment with the mysterious man was right around the first moment she had with Vladimere. And though the duke was suspicious, he took the young girl in as his own and raised her. Who could explain her white hair and golden eyes? In fact, the only resemblance to her mother the child seemed to have was her light skin and angular face. There was no resemblance of Vladimere. In fact, the child looked mostly like something derived of the Ancient Gods.

The child, named Ashara Elithri Vladimere, grew up to be of strong mind and spirit, and like her hair, her fiery temper grew ever-apparent with age. The older she became, the harsher the duke grew towards her. And when her half sister, Syri, was born with a head of dark hair and bright blue eyes, the little Asha was cast aside almost completely by her supposed father. From there, things fell further and further downhill, despite the gentle triumphs with her mother. Asha's temper became worse with age, and like her hair, could not be cut short. She lashed out at everyone, and by the age of fourteen, she was bad enough to where her father locked her away from the public eye. However, this never stopped the girl from sneaking away.

During the day, while her family was out in the city, Asha would slip away and run through the gates. It was here that she found her love of freedom and animals. It was here that her comfort was the greatest and her temper was almost nonexistant. And it was here that she met a young man, just recently made a soldier. This was the man she was destined to love. With dark hair and dark eyes, he seemed near the opposite of her. He was relaxed and mellow, easily able to tame her fiery heart. She quickly grew to love him, and within a year, she decided he was the one she wished to marry.

After Asha turned fifteen, the Duke decided she was of marrying age and quickly put her on the market for those of his standing or higher. Her temper began to flare again as her time with the young soldier, Lycarnus, was cut short. None would come near her, and she was quickly deemed a shrew, unable to be tamed and wed. With the utmost anger, the duke made his ultimate mistake on Asha's sixteenth birthday. With no thought of the consequence, Vladimere took his fist and beat the child that was supposed to be his. Then, packing all of her things, he pushed her out of the house and formally disowned her.

Happier than she'd ever been, despite the cuts and bruises, Asha ran away to her beloved soldier. He quickly took her in, nursed her back to health. Then, no more than a week later, he went to the Vladimere estate and formally asked for the hand of the duke's disowned daughter. To the surprise of the family, the duke granted the young soldier with his blessing. Perhaps this was to accomidate for the fact that he had beaten her or to keep his social status unmarred. No one can really tell. But the moment the blessing was given, Asha and the young soldier were wed and home free forever. Asha's mother was granted permittance to the small estate at any time, but the Duke did not dare see the girl's face again.

Death of a Soldier

Eight wondrous years passed, and the young couple took their time to enjoy life. Neither having a family name they desired to carry on, they decided to wait for children until a later time, despite the warnings of Asha's mother. Instead, they lived alone with a small patch of food growing healthy by their cozy abode. Asha, having a very good relationship with the king of Odeair and his son, who was married to her sister, quickly became Odeair's official ambassador, travelling once every two months to the mountains to bring back merchants from Aitrivon to trade with the royal family. Every time they came, the same woman was there. She, like Asha, was the one to witness the trade. Neither woman spoke to each other outside of business. Not for the years they had known of each other. There was no need, for the merchants always seemed to talk enough.

Every few weeks, Lycarnus would leave for some sort of mission, returning within the month, as the land in which they lived was small, and the armies always won when defending against those who crossed the mountains.

But then, one routine fell away to tragedy. The great King Tuter, himself, was met at the door to the little house on the Destrey estate with grave news. Bowing his head to the young woman with shocked golden eyes, he gave his condolences and announced that Captain Destrey had passed the previous evening, taking a fatal blow to his heart from one of the lucky soldiers from across the mountains.

She was offered to come live in the castle with her sister, Syri. But Asha refused the king's kindness and fell away to the denial of her husband's death. Little would be seen of her for two months.

The Peace After Mourning

Tragedy was never taken lightly, and this was no exception. But in her heart, Asha knew that she would see her knight again. Deep within her, a fire began to burn. One that told her she would soon have a mission to accomplish...a mission that could take her on to the life where she would see her beloved again. Though growing sick and weary of an illness she could not explain, Asha found herself becoming joyful again. She found determination and strength through the honor her husband always showed.

Dreams began to plague her unconscious mind. Her destiny awaited - one that would take her far away from home. But she was ready. Her body was strong of spirit, though weak of misstreatment. Now, she readies herself for the dream that she knows will come soon. With her bags packed and clothing crafted, Asha prepares herself for the greatest and worst thing to come to her.

  • Wheat - Seeing oceans of golden wheat always brings a fire to Asha's face.

*Please note: A great deal of information is missing from this history that might better explain her education and strengths. However, that was intentional, as this history is brief, and that which has not been mentioned here will be mentioned somewhere in RP.*

Superb... Really detailed one..

Lol, that's just how mowkie does things. It's all or nothing

Shadic, are you in this? O.O *goes to look*

Haha, all of my chars are detailed...character creation is my favorite thing to do. Thanks for the compliment, though. ^^

I'm going to finish mine when I get off work (i woun't be home until 7 or 7:30pm)

Oh, that's right...you said yours went out on you.

So you ordered a new one, then? That's always fun. Hope it comes in soon! Asha took me all day...seriously, from early this morning until I posted, only taking enough of a break to watch Annie. But I took her from an old char, so she took a little more time to change around and edit, etc. Plus, freaking BBcode takes FOREVER! My poor cat probably feels all lonely and stuffs. *snuggles the little Mowkie*

EDIT:

WOOT! More char sheets to read!

No, no I never had a laptop. This is my first one. Ever since I started iwaku, I've been on my ipod

THEN WHO SAID THEIRS DIED?!?!?!

Damn it, that stupid skype collab has me all confused!

Wait...that's right...you were the one that Soul asked, "Why does she always drop out?" Erran had to explain that your mobile device kept doing that.

It really doesn't help that today was the first day in a week that I haven't had a headache. *sighs sadly*

Well, I can't wait to see your char, Shadic. It'll be interesting to see Fire and Ice, that's for sure. XD

Okay, I'm off to bed now! Good night, everyone! <3

▒Name: Demita Cearo (de-mE-ta sea-air-O)▒

☼Meaning: Demiter's Sorrow☼

▒Date of Birth: September 8th▒

☼23☼

▒Place of Birth▒

Aitrivon, a penensula jutting out into the fair, though humid and heated area of the Washiba Sea. It is a country of scientific and historical advancement, taking pride in the arts of debate and archiving. The landscapes are lush and green, low growing trees abounding in the rolling green plains and rocky hills bearing life of all sorts. Not many places on this penensula are inhabited, though the places that are have been built into great metropolises, centers of trade and culture, the greatest one being set four days by horse back from the coast. It spans a length from end to end that would take a man an hour to walk while keeping a brisk pace and is home to many schools in art and literature. It follows a very strict building structure and city layout that the other citys also follow, keeping the most precious of treasures as well as cultural and scientific pieces in the center of the city, making them the hardest to get to. The master crafters of the cities had built strong walls about their city, and the watch towers along them cannot be easily swayed. These people are also adept in sailing, and during times of war, have used this to their advantage, leaving few people behind in towns for defence, which has on the rare occasion resulted in horrendous losses to other countries who had found the few weaknesses in their defensive system.

(If anything needs to be changed, tell me. I based this mainly off of a combination of Greece and Rome)

▒Gender: Female

▒Species/Racial Origin: Human with very faint traces of wood elf▒

▒Social Class/Community Status: Archivist High Class. Relation to the current royal line.▒

▒Family/Friends/Pets/Etc▒

☼Adelphos Basileus (Step brother) (Meaning: Of the same womb as kings) (Current King)☼

Twice the age of his step sister, he refuses to recognize any sort of related connection to Demita. He is a strong and firm king, though he does know how to show mercy and favor to those in need, like his father and mother before him

☼Kassiopeia Basileus (Step mother) (Meaning: She whos words excell those of kings) (Deceaced)☼

Seven years before the events currently taking place, the wife of the passed King and advisor to her son was taken as a prisoner in battle and killed promtly when the enemy found that rescue was close at hand

☼Osiris Cearo (Father) (Meaning: A product of sorrow)☼

A poor man who was taken into the royal house for use as a servant, rising in rank to become an attendant to Kassiopeia until her death. Though not the current king's father, he fathered Demita who was born of Kassiopeia

☼Lester (domesticated snow owl)☼

Found injured while Demita was at a young age, presumably having come down from the mountains, this owl was raised within the royal house, though only responded to the young child

She generally has a fair amount of money to spare after basic expenses, and thus will on occasion go out for a bit of a treat or buy herself a new book to pass the time before going to bed.

▒Philosophy of Life:▒

Life is one's only chance to learn and advance the learning of others, and thus should be taken with all seriousness

▒Attitude Toward Death:▒

One who is dead is gone to the world forever, nothing but the dust of the ground

▒Religion/Beliefs:▒

She has a faint beleif in the many gods of her home land, but is more inclined to beleive that all power that is and was will never be again and thus must be used while available

▒Education/Special Training:▒

Through great labor, Demita has the highest education available in her land and was mentored under a master archivist.

▒Brief history:▒

Barred from most all other nations by making use of the tail end of the mountain ranges that protect the country of Odeair, few people of Aitrivon have ever seen much battle asside from those who are specifically trained for war. Demita is among those who havent seen much of the violence of the outside world, but she was required to take small amounts of 'training' from her father, just in case they were to be thrown to the streets for life. Though the youth enjoyed the time spent with her father, she would constantly question as to what was over the mountain ranges that were always capped in snow. Unable to leave his working position of attending to the lady Kasiopeia, Demita didnt get to find out until she was of the age of sixteen, just after learning the basics of her new job as an archhivist. She accompanied a band of merchants to the mountains, caring for their animals and keeping account of all that they had brought. The snow and cold weather was something of a wonder for the girl, she enjoying every second of it. High up in the mountains, men could be seen with weapons, but the merchants didnt seem afraid of them, putting the girl to ease as they continued, now heading down the other side of the mountain. They soon came into a new town that was abuzz with activity, the merchants going directly to the center of the market to offload their goods. There were metal fassioned pipes, and seaweed. Lots and lots of it. In return, they received grains and vegitables that Demita had only seen being served to the highest of high class citizens. As well as the food, they received art and gems, beautiful tings that brought a sparkle to the girl's eyes. It was explained to the girl as they traveled away that Odeair and Aitrivon shared a long bonded trading alliance and peace treaty, things that Demita already knew, but now she had a deeper understanding of such. Every time from then on, she would accompany the merchants, often running into a woman about her age, but she never really had much time to pay mind to her as she had her job as archivist to attend to.

WIP (Re-do of current sheet)

Basics

Name (& pronunciation): Akila Şahin-Murkiah, Ah-KI-la.

Date of Birth (& age): 19 September, 26

Place of Birth: The Great Tree

The centre of the Great Armel Forest, known as the first tree and the ancient place of knowledge. Originally, it was the place that all elves were born from and the place in which their spirits were returned to when the race retreated into the dusty tomes of ancient lore. The forest-dwellers were left behind, children of the elves and the humans that were rejected by their elven ancestors. But every child is born here, in the boughs of the Great Tree, so that their souls and blood is blessed, inadvertently, by the spirits of their ancestors.

Akila was raised by her parents in a small community near the edges of their forest, close to a human settlement with a port and marketplace. She helped, as a young child, to weave baskets, clothes and other items for sale in the markets. Her father was a hunter, just keeping enough to feed their small family and selling the rest to buy everything they needed.

Gender: Female

Species/Racial Origin: Forest-dweller, the product of the union between humans and the long extinct Elves of this land. Often treated with derision or scorn.

Social Class/Community Status: Forest-dweller, hunter class. A warrior of sorts and last available heir to a kingdom far to the west.

Family/Friends/Pets/Etc:

Mother~Ayla Şahin ~ Forest Dweller~ Deceased~
Ayla was a woman of very little importance in the world. She was a gathering-woman, who gathered small herbs for cooking and general use in their small community on the forest edge. Until her herbal experience was useful: in the battlefield. Communities warred and killed for land in the forest, for the fertile soils near the rivers and the food rich outskirts of the forest. Healers were in short supply and high demand, valuable and essential to these 'clan' warfares. It was on one such battlefield that two lovers meet. In the healers tent, surrounded by the dead and dying and the wounded, they created a love and life that would last for many years.

Father ~ Arlen Murkiah ~ Human ~ Deceased ~
A great man, of nobility and good birth, who never wanted that life. Born the heir of a great estate and large fortune, he did not ever want a single piece of it. He spent his youth in the forests, hunting and fighting to find a place within the people with whom he felt he truly belonged. The Forest dwellers, with their keen eyes and fair features, they were far more than human. They were the fae of old to him, a people he truly understood. He was a hunter and a warrior, not a princeling and certainly never to be king. On the eve of his acceptance of his princehood, he denied his position and gave it up, renounced his claim completely. Thus, the throne was passed to his younger brother and he ruled with a fair, just hand. A king to be remembered and with pride. Arlen joined the forest peoples, making a home and a life for himself, fighting for land and spoils. There, he met his wife and the joy of his life.

Physical Description *Human*

Height: 5'9"

Weight: 63kg

Hair: Platinum/White

Eyes: Dark Blue

Limb Dexterity: Free as the seven winds.

Typical Clothing/Equipment:

She has two typical outfits, both comfortable and functional. One is featured below, consisting of her common wear. A well spun tunic from a distant land, soft but strong, and pants of the same fabric, comfortably tight and made to fit her exactly. She wears her arm bands on the left, fine silver jewellery given to her by her father as her 12th birthday present. They are the heir markers of his family, her connection to her father and the world he left behind.

Her second outfit is her more combatively-geared outfit, with loose and non-restrictive fabric and armour where needed. It is designed for efficiency and speed, in the colours of her people and well used through out her life. It is her hunting outfit, protection from the wild creatures which can not be reasoned with.

She was only ever presented to the court of her father's family once but still, the beautiful dress she was presented in lies in her wardrobe, much loved and cherished. Her mother spun the silk from the tree's that held the moths, sewed feathers and the beautiful words of the qualitiies that she cherished in her daughter. It was a message between them, of love and commitment that stretched over the furthest distances.

Powers:

Element: Wind/Air

Power 1: Great Tempest
This is her activation state, a physical representation of her element and full of her power. Her body is wreathed in winds, clear but tangible and she spread her wings in a gust. It is sparked unconsciously by her psyche and her emotions, great anger, sorrow or distress will cause this state to activate. During this stage, wind manipulation takes place and often the air becomes charged with restless air currents, shifting and billowing around her. It responds to anger violently, ripping up the ground and plants around her. This state will begin to calm her however, as the calming and cool nature of her magic works on her emotions. Her sense are heightened, though is often damaging as the sounds and lights around her are so startlingly different. This can be used in either human or dragon form.

Power 2: Shadowing Clouds
Used in either dragon or human form, her element borrows on the environment to form a storm contained inside the palms of her closed hands or inbetween her claws. This is her breath attack, as she merely needs to blow gently and unleash a storm that will tear up entire plains. This can be combined with elements to create a super-charge storm.

Personality/Attributes

Personality/Attitude:

Curious//Cheerful//Competitive
As they say, curiousity killed that cat and in Akila's case, the cat was long dead before she left the cradle. She was and still is energetic, needing to move to think and create ideas. She is fairly cheerful, optimistic person, although she has a competitive streak a mile wide from her younger days of games and sports in her small community.

Intelligent//Brusque//Sarcastic
Though she is extremely intelligent, she doesn't always put her keen mind to the best use. She is extremely, painfully honest and downright insensitive at times, though she has enough common sense to stop her most of the time. She loves any form of wit, even though sarcasm is the lowest of such a group. It's her way of communicating past difficult feelings.

Tough//Stubborn//Hard
Living in a time of clan warfare and tough times has made her a strong follower of the old saying, 'when the going gets tough, the tough get going'. She will force herself on and soldier past everything in her way, even if it hurts her inside. That being said, she is a stubborn as a mule and as hard as nails to boot.

Additional Notes

I'd like to reserve the warrior of earth, if I may.

Added a bit to Odeair as well as some to Asha's bio under the Death of a Soldier part. Just a confirmation of Asha and Demita meeting a number of times before but not really knowing each other.
