The Gatekeeper peered at the piece of paper the Inquisitor was holding up, not moving from his mount. When being escorted was mentioned a chuckle traveled around the circle of knights. "Fine. You can enter, but we're not carrying you there." The gorgon turned and blew a plume of green gas into the air, the Gate slowly opening in response. The Gatekeeper began to lead his mount back to the wall, "just keep going up the main road until you get to the mountain. Don't worry about being attacked, whoever tries it is assured a quick death."

With that the horsemen left the two officials to follow their commander, one saying, "good luck," in a tone that was far from encouraging. The massive City would greet them like a large alleyway, the one crowded street flanked by tall buildings hugging each other tightly. When the sun set they were two thirds of the way to the towering mountain and the City was alight with spastic colors and noises. The once quiet place had became loud and boisterous, dangerous being added to that list as well. When the moon began to rise nasty glances and stares began to turn into near advancements, with one person actually trying to mug them.

He was skinny and very drunk, a crooked knife was in his hand. As soon as he began his threat a shadow zipped down from a roof and stuck two curved blades into the man's back. The person was dressed completely in black aside from a plain white mask on their face, the right eye of which having a black design making it look like it was broken. The Sentinel simply motioned for the two to carry on before tossing the man's corpse over their shoulder and dissappearing down a thin alleyway.

When they finally made it to the mountain knights in heavy armor and another wall greeted them. The knights after reviewing their paperwork told the Inquisitors that the Palace was at the top of the mountain and that they would hold onto their horses for them. The moon was in the sky when the two warriors reached the heavily guarded Palace, the reddish waters of the front pool containing two dark crimson serpents with fat bodies and sharp teeth. As they lazily drifted through the water they gave the two a look that said, 'supper has arrived.'

They would be taken to a front desk, in which sat a spindly bespectacled man. The receptionist took their papers and examined them very closely for a very long time, finally he gestured to a hallway. "The Empress will see you now," he stated plainly. The hallway would lead the two to a very comfortably furnished room with the Empress sitting on a large chair of fine taloring. She seemed to be in conversation with a young girl in a plain grey robe but stopped as soon as the door was opened.

The robed girl quickly approached the two, "may I get you anything Sir, Madam? You've clearly been traveling for some time." Her hair was dirty blonde and her eyes pale blue. The Empress appeared to be making herself confortable in her chair.

The thief was quickly aware of the two men following her and allowed them to do so for a short while, until she quickly turned to a alley. When the men entered said alley they would find no one there, until Emerald Vale whistled from the roof the house to their right. She gazed down at them and made a overly dramatic look of shock. "What?! How could you have seen though my inginous blind woman disguise?! It wasn't like it was completely obvious or anything!"

The theif leaned on the diagonal roof of the house, giving the two men a carefree smile. "I'm guessing your here to chase me until your chubs," she gestured gracefully at the two men's stomachs, "stop you from chasing me anymore huh? I also don't see the point in you doing this, that guy looks badass enough to wrestle a Psych-Hydra. You think he needs you to find his stuff for him?"

Wyl watched as a large figure moved and cut through the ranks of barbarians. Eventually cutting so many down that the leader charged, his sword swung up and almost through the large man. The big man sidestepped and before the barbarian leader could move to counter he was confronted by several punches to the face. The boy king was in awe of this new combatant and hardly noticed that many of his guard had gone to assist their knights. Oren had his rams head helmet on and flipped the visor before speaking to his nephew.

"My King, this new fighter bears no colors, he appears to be no different from the other barbar..." Oren was interrupted by an arrow striking his helm and knocking off balance. The old man fell from his horse and hugged his stomach on the ground. Several more arrows flew and struck the guard around the young king. Wyl looked through his decorative visor and tried to figure out where the arrows had come from before he felt himself wrenched from the saddle. Wyl crashed to the ground, his armor knocking him silly, he looked through his visor and saw a large barbarian moving towards him. Among the battle his guards were unaware of their king's jeopardy. The barbarian began stepping towards the young king with his sword raised. Wyl flipped onto his stomach and began to crawl away quickly, his armor was heavy regardless of its fine make. He heard his uncle shouting swears and heard the clash of steel and flesh.

"Die liddle man!" The barbarian shouted as he began to bring his blade down. Wyl quickly ripped his sword from its sheathe and stabbed the barbarian in the stomach. The momentum of the barbarian pushed him further onto the blade, before finally he came down on Wyl. The barbarians blade sunk into the Earth next to Wyl's throat and further as the barbarians body crumpled on top of Wyl. He heard his uncle shouting furiously for Wyl to come forward. Oren had been fighting off several of the barbarians when finally he was aided by some of the guard. They quickly surrounded Wyl as he struggled to free himself from the weight of the barbarian. Eventually Oren ordered one of the guard to help. When Wyl managed to stand he quickly tore his helmet off and threw it aside, it buried itself in the mud and he felt the liberation of being able to see.

"Uncle!" Wyl shouted as he moved to his uncles side, while he did this one of the guard wrenched the king's blade from it's rest in the barbarians chest, he gave it to the king, "Let's go and cut these barbarians down!"

"You said you would stay back and observe," Oren said angrily as looked over his young nephew.

"I've already killed a man today uncle," Wyl stated angrily, "I will not let my men die without me there to help."

"You'll be a good king," Oren said before reluctantly charging forward, "Come!"

The ranks of soldiers were reinforced by the kings personal guard rushing forward and pushing through the barbarians ranks. Wyl caught a glimpse of the large warrior fighting the barbarians leader. The pair were exchanging blows, swords had been thrown aside and it was quickly apparent both were near matched. The Coalil soldiers broke through and served ample distraction for The Giant, he clasped the side of the leaders face and dug a thumb into his good eye. The leader shouted in anguish. Loque stepped back and landed a boot in the mans stomach before turning to face a Coalil soldier. The soldier wielded a spear and tried to stab Loque, Loque's hand clasped the shaft and pulled the man close before throwing an elbow up. The elbow landed into the soldiers nose and knocked him unconscious. Wyl and Oren Coalil made quick work of the remaining barbarians and forced them back. Both sides had taken losses and were uncomfortable forcing more bloodshed before being sure of who could win.

Tarius was satisfied with King's acceptance to the invitation. "As you wish your highness. I shall accompany you in your journey to Gavillion as your personal bodyguard. If you don't think I'll be sufficient, you are welcomed to bring more bodyguards. I shall await for your departure and Kingdom's gate." Tarius said as he stood up and gave one last bow to the King before leaving the castle. By using his mystic gauntlet, Tarius was able to track the location of the thief. Using his unmatched speed, Tarius quickly moves through the various surfaces of the Kingdom. Due to speed he was traveling at, Tarius had to skid a short distance on the roof top opposite of the thief to stop himself. "I appreciate the help, but I'll take it from here." Tarius said to the two men as he turned towards the thief. "So tell me......... How's Fido?" Tarius asked the Lady gleeful tone which was accompanied by his signature grin.

"Thank you for the offer, miss. We're fine for now." Jethro replied politely to the servant. The pair moved slightly closer towards the Empress before kneeling in front of her. "Greetings, Empress Lespri "The Immortal" Novena of the Red City. We bring a message to you from the Kingdom of Gavllion" Johanna finished her sentenced by taking a scroll which contained the King's message to the Empress. She then proceeded to read the contents of the message to the Empress. Inside the scroll, it is stated that as individual Kingdom's we can be rather vulnerable to invasion by forces outside of Condor. However by uniting all the Kingdoms of Condor under one banner, all the Kingdom's would be able to minimize their weakness and capitalize on each others strength. Lastly, it stated that the Empress was invited to the Kingdom of Gavillion to have meeting about the uniting all the Kingdoms of Condor into one Alliance.

The bandit leader having been nearly completely blinded and stabbed in the chest by a few unseen spears, laid out on the bloodstained grass. His helmet fell from his head and the small rabbit that occupied it was now nibbling at his ear, as it had done many times before to awaken his owner from slumber. The man could only just see the blurred images of the knights driving away his subordinates, and white hot anger swelled up in his dying heart. The leader pulled himself up, let loose a scream like a animal being impaled, and grabbed the corpse of one of his own men. "FINISH IT YAH SHIDDY MAGE," he bellowed at he barn before throwing the dead body at its doors.

The body sailed into the front of the barn and hit it with a loud thud. The 'shiddy mage' had heard the battle from outside and speed up his preparation, finally it was complete. The cloak pored a glowing crimson liquid into a slit in the faceless giant's chest and sowed it up. He then stepped back and began to check if he had the components needed for a teleportation spell.

Outside a new, thick silence had overtaken the air as the leader fell down dead. Then with the sound of splintering wood a towering behemoth of sown together flesh and muscle lumbered its way forward. Two knights ran at the abomination, plunging their weapons into it to no effect. The golem then ripped off one of the barn doors and used it to smash one of the knights, and his horse, into flattened gore. The other knight was grabbed off his steed and slowly crushed, his armor now just a chunk of bloody steel. The beast, silent and emotionless, continued to approach the knights.

The Empress listened to the knights and when they were finished a long silence passed, until she broke out into howling laughter. This went on for a good two minutes until she finally calmed down and looked at the two like they were childeren telling her about their imaginary freinds. "Hoo, that is positively rich! So the King of Gavilion means for all the kingdoms' leaders to meet under one roof, talk for a bit, and come out best freinds?! That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard, and I've heard of orcs riding dragons! The only thing that unifies us is our knifes at each other's throats, and it will remain that way until one finally takes the risk and cuts."

Lespri Novea then seemed to turn the situation over in her head. Her eye wandered to a glass case on a shelf, in it was a colorless gem. A small smile came onto her face. "Actually. Yes, I will come to see this soon to be fighting cage, a good business venture may some out of it. When am I to arrive?"

And finally, our little, insignificant thief. Ella nearly fell from the roof when the badass zoomed onto the one next to hers. "Damnit man, you scared me half to death! Aren't meetings supposed to be long and boring?" She was smart enough to know she was not going to get to sell man's tablets, so she might as well ask him a few questions that were pestering her. "Hey, before you, you know, kill me or whatever fits your fancy I wanted to know some things. One, who are you, like, outside of this messenger thing. And two, why didn't you have a ton of cash in your pockets? You seem to be payed well, or at least look like it."

Ella considered that perhaps this man was not huge on conversations with people that had just stolen from him a bit after she spoke to him. For this she was prepared to dodge whatever attack he sent at her and run away, throwing the tablets behind her.

Boba finally arrived at a village located nearby of the Kingdom of the "Boy King". He could clearly see that a battle was ensuing between two sides. It didn't take him long to figure out that the battle was between the soldiers of the Southern Aisle's Kingdom and bandits just by observing the attire of the combatants through a hidden spyglass built into his helmet from a hill overlooking the battlefield . He could also see that the King himself was present in the battlefield which quite surprising since most royal figures prefer not to dirty their hands. As soon as Boba saw an enormous figure emerging from one of the wooden buildings and crushing two knights with ease.

Without a second thought, Boba rode towards the battlefield on his trusty stead while unsheathing one of his blades with his right hand. His horse quickly zipped passed the King and his forces towards the retreating bandit forces. Boba easily disposed of any bandit who came in his way with his trusty blade and avoided the Southern Aisle knights. Among the chaos of the battlefield, he could see a unusually large man violently killing one of the bandits. Shortly after that, the man was attacked by one of the Southern Aisle knights. Boba didn't know whether this man was an enemy or an ally so he chose to ignore the man and continued his way towards the towering abomination.

As he got to it, Boba sheathed his blade and aimed his wristbow at the monstrosity and fired explosive bolts at both of its legs hoping to cripple it before he can deliver the finishing blow. Each explosive bolt had enough power to break stone pillars. Boba was not one to be taken lightly, his armor is armed to the teeth with the latest weapons developed by the tinkerer guild. He has weapons and tools for just about any situation. Boba then followed up his attack by throwing a glass orb filled with acid in an attempt to weaken it even further.

Jethro and Johanna were caught off-guard by the Empress's hysteric laughter, but didn't show any noticeable reaction to it. The empress's eventual acceptance to the invitation was unexpected but not unwelcomed. " The rulers of each respective kingdom are expected to arrive by the end of this week due to the varying distances between the Gavillion and the other Kingdoms. Me and my sister shall accompany you in your journey. You are most welcomed to bring more bodyguards if you think more are needed. " Jethro explained to the Empress. Jethro was still surprised that the Empress actually agreed to travel to Gavillion. Her comments about the King's plan of an alliance were anything but comforting. It was not long before he cast these thoughts aside since he had good faith that the King already knows what to do.

" Meetings aren't always boring. In fact, they can quite productive. But yea, they can be pretty damn long." Tarius replied to the thief's comment on meetings.

"Very well. I am Tarius KiShaalde. A lord Inquisitor of Gavillion." Tarius said as he took out his remaining slab which had a blue gem implanted into it. It was not so often that Tarius would give his name to an individual, however he made exception for thief because he believed that the thief was different from the other thieves he had faced so far in this lifetime. Most of thieves he had faced will always hightail away as soon as they saw him. But not this one. Most people who hear Tarius's name would think that he is a strange individual. After all, what kind of guy is named after a mythical story's tribe right?

The blue gem started glow and blue energy started to flow through engravings of the slab. Shortly after that, the whole slab was engulfed in blue energy for a short while before morphing into the Rudra spear. " As for why I don't bring much cash.... I just simply don't see a reason to do so. But enough about me, you seem like a much more interesting person and a not half-bad looking one at that." Tarius said as he started walking calmly towards the thief while creating ice platforms with every step he took to cross the space between one roof to another. The ice platforms seem to appear out of nowhere. It was as if the air around Tarius's feet was frozen instantly. However there a much simpler explanation for this.

Tarius simpler gathered the water particles around the area and gathered them to his feet to be frozen into platforms. Aside from his feet, Tarius was also gathering the water around the thief's feet. If Tarius's sees any attempt by the thief to escape, he would simply freeze her feet to the roof. "Don't worry. The law of this Kingdom prohibits me from attacking you." Tarius said as he continued to give the thief his signature smirk. "But they didn't say anything about immobilizing individuals." Tarius thought to himself.

This day felt just like any other in The Red City; conversations left and right, bustling feet that seemed to be going in all directions, and just that unnerving feeling of who's going to try and come after you for whatever you've got on hand. The city sure wasn't known for it's pleasant demeanor or welcoming tone, but it was a city that they've known to call home after a good while. Finding a way to live comfortably under such conditions could prove hard for some people, and in the beginning she sure did struggle. Though with time, commitment, and a good group of friends along her side she had managed to make herself settle quite well. She definitely wasn't living in the lap of luxury by any means, but she did move herself from a cardboard box, to a small shack with no water, to a building with windows and running water, to finally a building where each member could have their own room. The means to build themselves up to that middle class could sometimes seem questionable, but she had to move forward one way or another, she chose 'another.'

As the small skinny looking girl wandered the streets holding something wrapped in cloth against her chest, she couldn't help but look lost. The girl couldn't have been older than fourteen, and her eyes made her look blind as a bat, but as she maneuvered through the crowd it was clear she could see just fine. Her tattered and somewhat dirty dress made her look no more out of place than the people she currently surrounded herself with, her short platinum blonde hair swaying every time she made a sudden move. Finally, she was pretty sure she saw him. An adult male standing near the blacksmith stand with his hands in his pocket and a toothpick in his mouth, looking around the crowd. She ran over towards him, looking like an excited child that finally found what she was looking for, the man however couldn't have been more confused.

"What are your orders?" She asked the man.

"To retrieve." He responded in a raspy voice, the response she was looking for before showing him what she was holding. Unwrapping the cloth and opening the box relieved a small handheld gun that looked slightly altered. She let the man get a good look before quickly closing the box again.

"Can hide easily in a pocket, uses gunpowder so if you get searched you will be arrested for illegal possession of gun powder, but as promised, you can shoot this thing six times before needing to refill. It's small, but unpredictable and deadly." The man couldn't help but smile as he reached for the box, clearly interested in the newly developed item. The young girl quickly moved the box away from his hands though. "It's also 30 gold." She responded, somewhat coldly.

"30?!" He almost shouted before remembering what they were doing wasn't exactly legal. "I was told 20."

"Well things change, supply and demand. We supply items, and demand 30 gold." The girl simply shrugged. "Not my words. My boss."

The man looked irritated as he scratched the back of his head, snapping his toothpick in two as he smirked at the girl. "And what's to stop me from robbing the stupid little girl they sent to do the job?" He asked as he bent down to look at her.

"Wouldn't be a smart move on your part." She motioned as she pointed her thumb behind her, drawing his eyes across the alleyway to another man.

The man looked huge! Had to of stood around 6'4, crossing his arms with an amused look on his face as he watched the two. When the man finally made eye contact, the broad chested brute looking of a man uncrossed his arms and moved his hand under his jacket and to his pocket, where a firearm of similar caliber laid.

It took the smaller gentlemen a minute before responding, finally lifting himself up and sighing. "Fine fine. Here." He handed the girl the money, which she quickly counted, smiled, and handed over the item to the man.

"Pleasure doing business with you. Keep in touch." She sounded so sincere, so harmless as she skipped away, money at hand towards her counterpart.

"Is it really smart for us to be handing these out to random people?" The older man questioned the young girl that at this point could almost look like his daughter due to the difference in size and age.

"Don't know, don't really care." She mentioned, seeming like she didn't have a care in the world for what a dark place she lived. Her attention was quickly brought to the front of the gate, where they were letting in an outsider that had different style of clothing, they looked important. "Who in their right mind would come here?" She muttered, somewhat jokingly.

"They look like they're from Gavillion." The man mentioned, making the young girl look at him confused, so he felt he should further explain. "It's heavy armor, but it looks like similar armor to that I remember when I did my studies and traveled. Question is what are they doing here?"

"Is this worth mentioning to her?" The young girl asked.

"Yeah, something's happening." He seemed in thought as they continued their walk home.

A good few minutes of walking and once in their building that they could easily call home they stood behind a girl that looked in her late teens early twenties. The girl looked way too relaxed, sitting in her chair with her feet up against the balcony out looking the city, where she could see a view of the castle. "From Gavillion? Are you sure?" The girl asked, hands behind her head.

"Not one hundred percent, but they're definitely not from here." The older man mentioned.

"Well if they didn't try busting down the gate and parading into the city then they have to be here for peaceful reasons. A treaty? An alliance?" She stood up and walked around as she thought, her dirty blonde hair blowing back in the wind as her emerald green eyes looked at the ground. "What are the chances they'll want to bring The Empress out of the city?" She asked, leaving the young girl and older man somewhat confused.

"I.. I'm not sure." The older man mentioned.

"Cadalena, go to the city, keep an eye out and see there's a lot of armored guards leaving the city. If you happen to catch a glimpse of The Empress that's even better. Bring someone with you and report back with your findings." The older girl had a certain tone of voice that made sure there were no questions, no talking back permitted.

"Yes boss." The young girl, known as Cadalena, said before leaving to talk to one of the other members.

"Why is The Empress leaving the city important?" The man finally asked the teenage girl.

"With her gone, getting into the castle is highly more likely." A smirk grew on the girls face as she began thinking of the possibilities, the excitement of a huge heist. Finally! The time might come!
