"Graduation Day: A New Beginning"

The day you have been anticipating since you first entered Dusk has arrived! Graduation Day. The day where you are no longer a trainee in the academy, but an official agent on a team who gets to go out into the field. That's right, no more studying, no more training simulations, no more test. Because today you will be made a true agent of Dusk. Congratulations!

We know you must have been partying last night or throwing senior academy goodbye pranks. Well, luckily for you, we won't punish you for that. It's an exciting day for all, including for the senior agents. They too have a lot to look forward and adapt too. After all, they will be gathering a new teammate and/or partner today.

It will be a lot of change for everyone.

But, first things first you must attend the ceremony. It will be held in the auditorium. Everyone is allowed to attend! But is absolutely mandatory for all graduates and seniors to attend! On the stage will be our lovely, often grumpy, Captain Mulligan. He'll give a long and boring speech no one will care to remember. On stage with him will be each and every senior team leader, the rest of their teammates will be on the sidelines.

After Captain Mulligan's ~~boring-ass~~ speech, we will finally get to the part people actually care about. Where each person will be placed on their team! I know you've all are super excited, some of you may have been eyeballing a certain team, and some of you may hope not to be on a certain team. But, you don't get to decide, and you won't know until the Captain calls out your agent number and tells you what team you'll be on. That part is always nerve-wracking because the captain pauses all the damn time, ~~I'm pretty sure he does it on purpose~~. Your actual personal partner will be decided by your team lead and second-in-command.

Anyway, when your team number is announced, you will have to go over and stand with your team, you know, the ones watching you from the sidelines, like hawks.

When the ceremony is over, that is where the real journey begins for both you, now again, Freshmen and the Seniors both. You will have to move out of the academy dorms and into the Agent dorms, or as I like to call it The Wolfs Den. Actually, everyone calls it that....~~But you already knew that~~.

You will be moving in an apartment like room, containing two large bedrooms, one for the girls and one for the boys of your team. Feel free to design your part of the room any way you like. And don't worry, by the tea you get to your room, your belongings will already have been moved there. Your welcome.

What happened after that? Missions, you ask? No. Not immediately anyway. You will have at least two to three days to wait before your sent on an actual mission. During this time your new team will be trying to get a feel of you, test your skills or both and more. Just know, your new team, will be your new family and friends.

Today is Friday. The ceremony will be held in the auditorium at 1:00 PM. Do not be late under any circumstances.

Note: I know a lot, if not every single one of you, do not want to placed among Team 13 because of their team leader, The Witch of Dusk. I know you've heard rumors, but she's not that bad, In fact, she's a sweetheart. She's just a little, or a lot, on the weird side. If anything, the people you should really fear on that team is the Second-in-command, Bianca, aka Bloodlust, agent number 2. And Andrew and Nikolai. Every time I'm around those guys I have to carry a container of salt and a cross. {You are not allowed, under any circumstances, to show them this letter. I do not wish to be bullied more, thankyouverymuch.}

PS. For those of you who stayed up late last night partying because of your graduation tomorrow. You all saw the Witch of Dusk walking around in a daze really creepily and made a bunch of noise, waking up other academy students because of your noise. Yes, you guys. Please refrain from spreading that around. She was just sleep walking. ~~However, I was scared too~~.

She is a mighty, confident and determined person. She always shows it in the way she walks and talks. When she wants something, she's going to get it, and no one can stop her. Her tenaciousness is a force to be reckoned with. Especially with her powerful nature, she can be known to be quite intimidating if you get on her bad side or even in first meetings. Tiger's is an honest person, her frank, blunt and straight to the point honesty...But she is also very trustworthy, yet she doesn't appear that way. And a true friend too. She will do almost anything for her friends and she is very protective of them. The only people she's friendly too on first meetings are her fans. But for the most part, she has a laid back, easygoing, give-no-fucks attitude. She can be cool with pretty much everything. And because she basically is a cat, you cannot forget those qualities too. So, if you get close enough to her, she's very affectionate no matter who you are.

As a child, Selena has always traveled around with her parents. They lived in that van and obviously weren't very wealthy, they were poor, but at least not living in poverty. Sarcastic: Sarcasm is seriously her only defense. She uses it so much it's hard to tell when she's ever being serious. It won't matter whether she's happy, sad or mad. She never reveals her true feelings so easily. So you can expect a bunch of snarky comments.

Independent: She doesn't like to accept the help of others, despite giving it to them herself without thinking. She likes to do things by herself and can't stand to let others do it for her. Especially when she feels she is capable of doing i herself. So, she'll almost never ask for help unless she absolutely has to.

Observant: Selena can read anyone and anything easily, almost with just one look. She's been around so many people with so many different stories. She is not insensitive to others feelings and finds it easy to read them. Just as she is super observant in her surroundings, not just with people. Se can notice or find things others would never see. It helps that she has photographic memory.

Resourceful: Obviously being a the scavenger contributes to this fact. She finds use of just about anything. And she hates to waste anything. It annoys her when anyone else throws something away when it's perfectly capable to be used for other things.

Caring: As much as she puts on a tough front, she's really a sweetheart. Very gentle too. She wants to help those closest to her in anyway possible, often sacrificing her own needs and wants for them. In fact, it makes her very selfless. Because she would do the same for good strangers. Fear Inducement - He can evoke and increase fear and horror in others causing the target's brain to release fear-inducing chemicals.
The victim's perception may be altered, causing them to see their environment as ominous and the user as dark and foreboding, or even seen as a monster.

Regenerative Healing Factor - He can regenerate rapidly. In other words, he can regenerative lost tissues, organs and though he can't regenerate limbs, he can reattach them and heal that. And he is immune to any infections, poisons, toxins and just about anything that can damage the body from the inside.

WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS
Darkness Manipulation - Light. He has a very hard time creating darkness, such as mist. And when light or the sun is out his darkness doesn't really work. Therefore it is rendered useless.

Fear Inducement - He rarely ever uses this ability, many because he does not like it. So, it would be a last resort. But, he has to look into the eyes of the person or else it will not work.

Regenerative Healing Factor - He can still feel pain, thankyouverymuch. Though he may heal, it could still be painful enough that he may faint. The fairy tales written and told by Charles Perrault, Hans Christian Andersen, Brothers Grimm, all the greats, and even the little nursery rhymes you were told as kids weren't just stories. They were real. They had happened. All of it. The magic, the mystery, the beauty, the love.

They've always been real unbeknownst to everyone. Including the characters of the stories themselves...

For generations and generations they've been reincarnated and lived out the lives of their stories again and again. Always with new turns, twists, horrors and always the magic. And they've never remembered their past lives. These tale characters are called Everafters.

Yet, there is a secret ending no one knows about. Each time the pages of the stories close, the stories of their lives come to an end, these characters, people, Everafters, are hunted down and killed/eaten by mysterious monster.

No one knows why. And they never have been able to figure it out because they can never remember their past lives each time. They only time they've come to remember anything of their old lives is when it's too late. When the story has ended and the monsters have come after them.

....

However, the 21st century has arrived. And things have really changed.

These monsters are no longer coming after the story is done. They've started to come at any time they please.

But things have not only changed on their end. The Everafters are starting to remember themselves in bits and pieces, dreams and nightmares, in black outs. But they're coming to know and remember who they are. Who they were.

Now, a town called Apple's Peak located outside of Los Angeles is attracting the Everafters. Another mystery that has yet to be solves, but they are all attracted to it and have headed there.

If they worked together, they could find answers and save themselves from the same fate, from their common enemy.

Sadly, there is too much conflict monster themselves, the heroes, the villains, the neutrals, and even with normal human beings. They're people and so they have issues.

The Everafters stories is taking a new turn. This time at their own will.

And no one knows how it will end.

The story book characters. Whether a hero, villain, or side character the person will always be an Everafter. Therefore, they've lived many lives and have been killed all the same by the monsters. And continue to be hunted.

As an Everafter, they are different from normal human beings. Some of their differences may be increasingly inhuman. Such as magic, strange abilities or more.

For example: Snow White may have enhanced, mesmerizing, hypnotic beauty. She is the fairest of them all.

Everafters are sorted into one of two categories based on their role in the story. But this doesn't necessarily make them bad or good completely or at all.

A quaint, close-knitted community, but large town located outside of Los Angeles, California. It attracts Everafters, somehow calling out to them. The town's appeal is as mysterious as almost everything else, there's something magical about it... But because it attracts Evetafters it also attracts the monsters.

Unknown to it's residents the town is magic and holds most, if not every answer, the Everafters need and want.

HISTORY
Rae was born as the youngest child of six girls. Her parents western very wealthy so they didn't want many children, so having her was the biggest problem. They had originally planned to abort her, but they couldn't afford it.

Yet, when she was born, her mother instantly fell in love with her. She was too precious. Despite her father wanting to get rid of her, her mother refused and chose to take care of her herself. So, Rae grew up as a mommy's girl and her sister's rarely playing with her. But she grew beautifully and had the most beautiful voice. She often sang for her mother.

When she was around seven, she discovered her father's abuse towards her mother. And it tore her apart, she then promised her mother that when she was old enough she'd become a famous and rich singer and support them both. Her mother loved her dream despite not wanting to be in Rae's life too much or at all. Her mother was mentally ill and had hurt her daughter many times unbeknownst to Rae not recognizing it as abuse.

A year later, her mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer and died. Surprisingly, her father kept her. Since her mother was gone, she was used as his new abuse toy. Despite his abuse, physical and sexual, her sisters never involved themselves.

So, around the age fifteen, she ran away. When leaving on the streets, she met a kind boy and he helped her out. He even helped her with her musical career. She fell in love with him, but his heart was already stolen by another. And other unspeakable events occurred after.

She moved to Apple's Peak hoping it'll help her forget the pain.

The Scavenger

"I can only please one person a day. Today isn't your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either."

Location: Selena's Van → Clan Headquarters

"I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones. Enough to make my system blow. Welcome to the new age, to the new age ... " Selena sung softly to herself as she did her hair up, looking into the cracked, dusty and slightly smudged mirror.

When she woke up, it was before the sun had came up. A daily routine really, her body had even adapted to it, picking her up at the same time every morning. And it was a good thing too. Selena was a firm believer in the saying 'the early bird gets the worm.'. God knew that she would always need that worm. Everyone did in these times. And if they didn't, it would be because they were already dead.

But she took advantage of each morning the same. She freshened up, or as much as she could with her supplies, if you could call them that. Her little sleeping quarters was bare for the most part. It was a van. Though the tires had been ripped off, the gas sucked dry and the cushions from the seat were gone as well as the glass windows shattered And sadly it wasn't her who had stripped it down.

Yet, it was still useful. Very useful, she set up to be livable in. A skill she took exceptional pride. She gathered pieces and bits wherever she went and brought it right back to the van. In the short time she had found it, she found plastic to cover the windows, a tattered small mattress to set in the back and sleep on. It was thin, but so much more comfortable that the cold metallic floor.

And the location of the broken down van was rather secure too, for the most part, hidden in an alleyway. She supposed it wasn't the most ideal place and a small space, but it was good enough for her. Besides, it reminded her of the old times with her parents. When they all lived in that van they called home, traveling all the time.

"We live in it to seek adventure, Lena." Her father had told her.

Yeah right, she wasn't dumb. She knew they were homeless and dirt poor. That's why they dug in trashcans all the time for resources.

Still,it was a hell of a lot better than where she was now in her life. And she longed for her parents so much on some days it left her feeling hollow inside. She would do anything to go back to that van where they all squished together in the back for warmth on those cold freezing nights.

Selena shook her head to focus herself, she didn't have time to reminisces on the past. What mattered was the here and now.

She finished tying her hair up, and grabbed a tin can where a small amount of water was held in. How she gathered it? The rain, duh. There were some leaks o the hood of the van, but she hadn't found anything to fix that problem yet, so she used her little tins to gather the water with it. Water was valuable.

In the end, she had gathered enough to keep her going for a long while. But, this was the last of it. And she used it to finish cleaning herself.

She dipped her tattered rag into and wiped her face clean. There. She was all set and ready to go.

With a slight smirk, she hopped out of the van and sighed. This could possibly be the last time she'd see it, every time she left it was always a possibility that it would be the last. Hell, she could die today or tomorrow or anytime. Or someone could ruin her home. You never knew what could happen.

Stalking the streets, with the head lowered,she raised the hood of her hoodie over her head. She didn't want to be noticed. Especially as a woman. Ugh, she didn't want to even think about that. She had been in that situation way too many times.

She had considered chopping her hair, and any other obvious femininity in her appearance,such as her painted nails and the necklace around her neck. But to hell with that! She loved her hair,and there was no way in hell she'd get rid of her pretty accessories. They were too precious to her.

"Hey! You!"

Selena kept walking.

"I'm talking to you!" The older man,large and rugged, grabbed her shoulder and forced her around. His eyes widened in surprise when he saw her face. "You're girl."

Giving him an impassive face, she blinked. "No, I'm just a feminine looking man." She said sow stoically he couldn't tell whether she was being honest or sarcastic. She tried ripping away from his grip, but he only held on tighter.He grinned with his yellow teeth, his intentions clear in his eyes.

Selena's stomach did a flip and she reacted instantly by biting into his arm, not holding back in the least.

The man cried out in pain and let go, she took that chance to run. Of course he chased after her, but she knew these streets better than anyone else. And so she quickly found a hiding place down an alley and up a fire escape.

He went into the alley, holding his bleeding arm. She had gotten him good. But when he saw no one, he ran off, looking for her elsewhere.

She breathed a sigh of relief and climbed down. Yep, there was no going back to her van after that. She supposed she would stay at the clan house with Oliver and Chencho until she found another place.

The trip to the headquarters was a quiet and careful one. There was no way she was going to run into anymore trouble. She was evidently relieved when reaching the house and settling in for the meeting.

Supply drop or Motel? Both sounded greatly beneficial. But, she was leaning more toward the supply drop and said so along with Baby. Seriously, though, what type of name was Baby? His name didn't match him at all in the short time she had known.

Of course, they went with the motel. It had upset her a little, she'd admit. But she tried not to look at in a bad light. At least they'd have a home where they could look out for one another. She needed that.

"Don't be a little bitch, Baby." She said to the young man closet to her age. She was the only girl and the youngest of the group. But she wanted to hang out with him more than the others considering how close they were in age. "We have one thing they don't." She smirked.

"Doritos! Wooh!" Selena raised her bag in the air and grinned. She was aware she was being silly, but she fucking loved Doritos. And as mush as she was tough, she was silly too. You had to be to have all that sarcasm.

"Also, I'm pretty sure Chencho's on drugs." Because how the fuck could someone be so happy every time. Or at least every time she saw him. "And he should be sharing, I would love to get high." She shrugged.

"Let's trade, I want Nacho Cheese, you can have this Cool Ranch."
