Name: Trevor Murasaki aka "Contrition"

Race: Human.

Faction: None yet.

Place of Residence: Hell's Kitchen.

Appearance:

Guyver___Murakami_by_foggykay.jpg

Personality:

Trevor- A young Catholic who was on the brink of graduating high school when his life changed forever during the Secret Invasion of the Skrulls. He is still dealing with the grief caused by the recent death of his parents while coming to terms with being bonded to the symbiote offspring of Hybrid. Trevor's religious upbringing is now factoring heavily into his current decisions since his faith is all he has left.

Contrition- It is unclear how the symbiote's mind will develop as it is on the same generational plane as Toxin. Instead of being the offspring of Carnage, it is the offspring of Hybrid. This calls further psychological questions to mind since Hybrid was a symbiote comprised of the four Life Foundation symbiotes Phage, Riot, Lasher, and Agony. More time will be needed for all of these factors to come together. It also depends on the influence of Trevor's personality since it has been shown that the host can influence the symbiote just as much as the symbiote can influence the host.

Drivers: Figuring out how to live as the host to a Symbiote.

Equipment: Nothing other than the Symbiote.

Strengths: Imagination. Faith. Courage. Intuition. Biblical knowledge.

Weaknesses: Feeling unworthy of God. Guilt. Beautiful girls. Anger. Fire. Sonics.

Primary Power: Powers granted through the bond with his Symbiote.

Secondary Power: None?

Background:

Born and raised a Roman Catholic, Trevor grew up with a relatively normal life aside from witnessing the extraordinary events which often take place in New York City. His father worked as a bus driver while his mother currently works as a receptionist at the studio for "The Colbert Report". Each of them has worked hard to provide for him and his two brothers of which he is the youngest. However his two brothers are both are already at college out of state on scholarships, having transferred out of Empire State University when a fight between Spider-Man and some B-List villain took place on campus. It nearly resulted in severe injury to Trevor's oldest brother which would have crippled the family financially.

Trevor promised his parents to go out of state for college as well once he graduated from high school after that incident.

During his high school years the beginnings of the Skrulls' secret invasion took place. Trevor and his family fled along with all of the other normal residents of New York. But during their time away from home, Trevor prayed for the means to protect his family. Later that night he met a man named Scott Washington, the host of the symbiote called Hybrid. Due to the strange creation of Hybrid or perhaps just the regular life cycle of a symbiote, it had recently given birth to a brand-new symbiote.

Rather than take the new creature back into himself and deal with yet another voice in his head, Scott entrusted the newborn to Trevor after repeated urging by the Hybrid entity which sensed a devout desire to do good in the teenager. At first Trevor refused after witnessing Hybrid's appearance which resembled the Catholic ideal of a demon rather closely. If anything the offer resembled the Devil himself tempting others into selling their soul for worldly power. But of all things to remember at that time. . . he remembered the hero Daredevil who watched over Hell's Kitchen. Deciding to take the risk in order to keep those he loved safe, Trevor then allowed Hybrid to implant the newborn symbiote inside him.

Afterward, Trevor went back to his parents with a brand new confidence in keeping those he loved safe. Soon enough the Skrull invasion ended, allowing all of the families to return to their normal homes with time passing by without any weirdness. But finally the symbiote finally became mature enough to gain both conscious thought, and the strength to form a symbiote costume on Trevor's body. This happened while Trevor was in the living room watching TV with his parents and caused both to die from shock at what their son turned into right before their eyes.

Overwhelmed by the guilt, Trevor fled the house and sought out Hybrid for his own perceived notion of revenge. After losing from the combined factors of inexpierence and his own symbiote refusing to fight its parent, Washington tried to console the unfortunate teenager. During the conversation Scott made him swear to never try killing the symbiote which had not intentionally done anything wrong. However, Trevor would not allow his guilt to fade which led to Washington dubbing the young symbiote with a Catholic term:

Contrition.

[HOPE THIS IS GOOD ENOUGH]

How many years has HAMMER been around? If it's less than 10, I'm gonna write some history with Thunderbolt into my guy's background.

Real-time H.A.M.M.E.R. Has been around for two years ic wise two to three months. Tbolts are perfectly valid.

Cool. Anywho, I'd like to talk to you about my powers, as well as what I have planned for my character. Expect a PM.

So is my character unaccepted then Fel?

Cause it's not on the list.

I'd like to know what you would like changed if I need to.

@Orion: Sorry I've been busy. Sounds good to me.

CHARACTER SHEET

Name: "Angel" Driscoll

Race: Half Shi'ar, half Human.

Faction: Underworld. Hellfire Club.

Place of Residence: Midtown

Appearance: Athletic build, somewhat thin. Has short, choppy dark hair that is constantly kept beneath a bandanna or a helmet. Only small wisps of it can be seen around her ears and along the nape of her neck. Skin is tan from riding her bike all day. Wears tight-fitting cyclist outfits.

Personality: Intelligent and decisive. An alpha-female. Can get aggressive. Rather than asking for something or biding her time, Angel prefers to take whatever she wants. Gets possessive of her friends and loved ones, her aggression rising when she feels they are at risk. Somewhat stunted in the "romance" department and feels she doesn't have a romantic cell in her brain. Prefers to move from one "thrill" to the next. (Think a milder Deathbird combined with Lifeguard.)

Drivers: Currently works as a courier during the day and a dealer during the night. She delivers the drug Hypercortisone D, otherwise known as "Kick," an addictive drug that boosts the superhuman mutant powers of its users. During the Skrull Invasion and Mutant Registration Act, many powered individuals began to fear for their safety. Just having "powers" wasn't good enough. They wanted "SUPERpowers." Though Kick had been around for some time, its popularity was boosted by those trying to dodge the Registration Act.

Angel is against the Registration Act and against Osborn, just like many other powered individuals. She finds his intimidation tactics droll and boring, figuring it's only a matter of time before Osborn is toppled. She would prefer that be sooner rather than later; his tight enforcements have been ruining business. The top reason: She hates his hairstyle.

Equipment: Small backpack filled with various things (water-bottle, house keys, cell, digital camera, lock picks, 'merchandise') Also carries a small camera pack on her side, although there is no camera inside. It holds a pair of Kick Inhalers. Also has: Expensive mountain bike. Helmet.

Strengths: Super strength, agility, flight, armor.

Weaknesses: SBA is dependent on adrenaline levels, her powers only manifesting when the need arises, or she "feels" that particular need. This often makes her take unnecessary risks. She is not as durable as other "powered" individuals. If picked up, the young woman feels lighter than normal, almost as though she were part bird. Although she heals mildly faster than a normal human, Angel doesn't possess any miraculous healing abilities or super senses.

Primary Power: Superhuman strength, speed & agility.

Secondary Power: Situational Biomorphic Adaption: The ability to adapt her body to the environment at hand, i.e. wings for flight, super-strength, skin transforming into armor. Wings for flight are the easiest to summon.

Background: The finer details about Angel's past are a bit muddled, but for certain she comes from one of the slightly more "well-bred" of the old families in the area. Her father is a member of the Hellfire Club and with her other siblings gone missing during the combined Skrull Invasion, Venom Bomb and rioting, Angel is set to inherit his membership.

Being the "black sheep" of the family, Angel has been on her own for quite some time. Preferring to live life on her own whims she left home at an early age after attending college for as long as she could stand. While there she made some useful connections but felt that the rest of the younger people were more than brainless or too busy thinking with other parts of their anatomy to see the bigger picture.

For most of her life she had felt like the odd-one-out, never quite fitting into her family or society. Being a mutant had never crossed her mind until one fateful night when she was almost run down by a van while at a party. No glittering vampire came to her aid but her own hand did as she nearly punched a hole through the radiator, bringing it to a sudden stop.

The drunken driver claimed to have seen a glimpse of a wing settling over the young woman. (Hence the nickname "Angel") Shocked and with her shirt in tatters, the girl had staggered off, avoiding crowds until she reached her apartment. It wasn't so much her brush with death that had affected her so, but rather the feeling of "power" she felt rushing through her veins. She chalked it off to adrenaline but later near-death incidents began to hint otherwise. It was around this time that she discovered "Kick." With the help of the drug she was able to access her powers more readily.

Soon she began pushing the drug to others she knew were mutants. Through hard work and dealing, she became one of the best "couriers" in the city. After having a group of her friends wiped out by H.A.M.M.E.R, Angel has set out on a mission of vengeance.

Hm, so I had a question... Does faction have to be a canonical faction in the Marvel universe?

Hm, so I had a question... Does faction have to be a canonical faction in the Marvel universe?

Not really, no. Our main faction IC would be non-canon. If you have your own in mind it should be fine--as long as it isn't too off the wall.

[IN PROGRESS.]
Name: Dana Li-Yin Miller.

Race: Mutant.

Faction: Neutral.

Place of Residence: Chinatown.

Appearance: To the average eye, Dana's merely just the average half caucasian, half-chinese restaraunt owner. At the age of twenty-three, she looks a little more mature than most women her age, possibly merely because she seems to be constantly harrassed and in a hurry. Her skin tone is more olive than anything, and her hair is shoulder-length, ink black, and usually pinned up away from her heart-shaped face. A woman of average stature, she is more athletic than slender, and reaches a typical height of 5 ft. 7. More often than not, Dana tends to blend in with other harrassed shop owners of this section of the city; her eyes, however, are what make her stand out. They're nothing too special; the coloring just isn't typical of asians. Stormy grey eyes are underneath thick lashes, and tend to mark her as a half-breed. Not that Dana really minds people knowing her heritage. All in all, Dana's features are a curious mix of asian and caucasian, leaving her averagley pretty, though somewhat exotic looking.

Personality:

Drivers: All Dana really wants is just to run her shop in peace. She wants to forget that her abilities ever manifested. She would get rid of them if she could. Being a mutant isn't easy, especially when you are already discriminated against for things like color. She is hellbent on no one ever being any the wiser about her 'genetic' skeleton in the closet, and just wants to be left alone. Period. Maybe in her quiet life she'll be able to finally meet the right guy and start a family? It's safe to say Dana's content with just the simple things...though, things certainly don't always work out how she plans...

Equipment: For safety and security purposes, Dana possesses home defense, also known as an untraceable .45 revolver hidden in a nightstand. Her father gave it to her, insisted she keep it, because New York was a scary place to live these days....

Strengths: Hardworking, honest, mentally/physically resilient, intelligent, quick-thinker, street-smart, determined.

Weaknesses: (What lets you down? YOU MUST HAVE WEAKNESSES!)

Primary Power: (Including category it falls under)

Secondary Power: (MUST plead with GM)

Background: (Try to be concise)

Name: Kaden Alexander aka Proto Ten!

Race: Human

Faction: Star Destroyer

Place of Residence: Manhattan Island

Appearance: Kaden stands at 5'8", with short black hair parted down the middle, brown skin, and dark brown eyes. His build is that of a somewhat casual athletic, active in his daily life but nothing incredible or well above average build wise. As Proto Ten, his outfit consists of a dark purple, military styled jacket with leather pants, and a helmet which uses a red trim. He is also most often seen wearin a red scarf across his neck when 'in the retro'.

Personality: He is exaggerated and eccentric at a glance, giving a confident and dramatic flare to even everyday happenings; this is especially true when dawning his alter ego. However beyond the simple showboating and sometimes strange demeanor, there is an insightful and adventurous young man trying to do right with himself and the world around him.

Drivers: Kaden lives for the life of a hero, following the tride and true method of beating up the badguys, protecting the innocent, and upholding justice! His methods are outdated seeming, but done in recognition of the memory of his late father. He sees Osborn's initiative as an obstruction to individual freedoms, and the man himself as a villain with a shiny suit!

Equipment: V-Tech Tool Kit, Crisis Armor, the Protocycle!

Strengths: Kaden is extremely gifted in mechanical and robotics fields, an intelligent thinker, and a power packed ranged fighter!

Weaknesses: Kaden's own arrogant places him into ridiculous or very dangerous situations. He's also no powerhouse defender, where as his small stature is beneficial to avoid being hit it also makes him take to those hits really super badly! Kaden also lacks a great deal in experience, and has limited knowledge in fighting outside of basic boxing, self-defense, and the use of his powers.

Primary Power: Daedalus-Gen, the suit bonded to Kaden allows him to generate raw energy and release it in the form of kinetic bolts, fields, and even able to lift him off the ground. The energy comes from the Daedalus core, the last and greatest invention by his father, bonded to him through an accident. The bonded core can generate a theoretically limitless amount of energy, however the amount that can actually be utilized and 'willed' by Kaden is directly proportionate to his physical and mental stamina.

Secondary Power: Energy transfusion and reconstruction: A later developed use of the Core's ability allows Kaden to siphon energy from himself and into a living and non-living entities, converting it into pure energy for their body to thrive off of in reasonable doses. On top of that, Kaden has learned to compress certain specially designed objects into the suit using the core's power; or more specifically, he's able to form and deform his costume at will.

Background: Kaden was born in Nevada, and raised there for the lesser part of a decade, until moving to the nation's capitol so that his father could further his career. By age fifteen, however, Kaden's mother became weary of the large city and aspired toward more direct tribal work in the state of her birth. The division caused Kaden's parents to soon split and divorce, however Kaden stayed with his father, stayed in the District where his current life was; he stayed where his friends, his school, and everything familiar still resided. The decision would, in time, create a sense of resentment in Kaden toward his father, blaming him for the split up. By age eighteen, he had become an intelligent, yet arrogant, and at times self-serving young man. He attended the university, as well as worked as an assistant in his father's lab... Which is how the grand old life changing accident happened. For a decade, Werren had been researching and producing a power source which would be able to generate, recycle, and produce near theoretically limitless energy. The prototype for this would be named the Daedalus Core, and although still incomplete it held countless possiblities to it. To handle the core, Werren developed a type of suit, which hugged the skin, and used circuit styled inlay to safely channel the energy outward to protect the user. It was with this very suit, the Type-390, where it all began...

Kaden snuck into his father's lab after yet another back and forth argument. He went there in order to examine and for a lack of a better word, play with the gel-core. To his surprise, his father walked into the lab, well after hours to see the young man with the core in his hand. But before the argument could start up again, a wave of energy cascaded across the room, seeping in, drawing the light into it. When the energy contacted with the Daedalus Core, a sudden and violent backlash occurred. Kaden's senses went blank, and his whole world became a blinding flash; when Kaden's eyes opened and he regained himself, he found a pile of rubble surrounding him. He was just barely submerged in it, which he noted how miraculous it was considering the floors and walls for several stories up of the building he was in were now torn away! In his surprise, he didn't even notice that the once plain Type-390 suit was not a more drastic dark purple! The inlay was a bright red, running across his body... But along with that, he found his father's body amongst the rubble. Kaden had thought, at hte time, that he was responsible for killing him and ran in fear. He went back to his own small place, picked up a few things and some clothes, and was off to make himself scarce. While confused and alone, he ran across the 8-Ball 8th, a local gang in the area that didn't take kindly to him being in their territory at that hour. But when Kaden tried to defend himeslf, instead of a mere punch, he shot a blast of full on energy straight at the leader!! After recovering from the shock, he offerred Kaden a place to hide and a place to fit in.

He'd run with the gang for about half a month before they would try a bank heist, using Kaden's newfound powers to their advantage. What they didn't know is that around the same time, a recent arrival into the states was patrolling the city... And though most didn't know his real name, the English Terrier was on the scene quick as lightning to foil their nefarious plot! What Kaden didn't know though... Was that the Terrier recognized him, in fact he knew the young man's father; and rather than see him ruin his life, he convinced him to turn on the 8-Ball 8th's. Kaden's next bolt would hit the gang leader straight through the window, and unfortunately for him... In his riled up state, he pulled his gun straight at a police car arriving at the scene. The image of the other man being shot down would not soon leave Kaden's mind, even during his trial. The court would be lenient on him, considering the ordeal and his help in resolving the matter without innocent bystanders being hurt. It was then that Kaden learned he was not responsible for his father's death, but another scientist at the lab named Damien Werner; who had been severely injured and incarcerated for his actions. Kaden was given a second chance, but more than that he was given a new sense of identity. His powers nearly caused a terrible incident, they were in part responsible for a man's life being lost, but they also saved his life. Now at the age of 19, he knew there was only one course of action to take with such incredible abilities.

With a little welding, spray-paint, and a few articles of clothing he was ready... And out into the world he went, Proto Ten! Starting with the humble ideal of beating up the badguys and saving the good, Proto Ten would go on to great things! He would face the murderer of his father-turned super villain, Nelo Daemius and put him back in jail! He would take part in forming the band of heroes known as Star Destroyer! A group of five consisting of the mighty English Terrier, the electrifyingly stoic Dynamo Livewire, ever vigilant Agent S, and the enigmatic PsyraMedic! The five would encounter a great many obstacles, from the fiendish Daemius to the sly and cunning Redfall; to the psychotic Cyanide Funk, and the malevolent Deathlyne. But now, a new great threat is seen on the horizon, and the five have split their attention to different areas of the globe. Proto Ten had set off for New York, intent on delivering a Proto-Packed Power beat down onto Osborn and his schemingly sinister systems. Proto Ten! He won't let the people down. Proto Ten! Never say die, never say quit, never turn back from the good fight! Proto Ten! Each punch is one less punch toward freedom! Proto Ten! When hope is about to fall and the days look darkest, ya gotta Proto Ten to the stars!

I hope this doesn't get held back on starting until my damn finals week gets here. . . then I might be angry.

>=[

And you don't want to see him when he gets angry...

(He's the red hulk)

I almost wish you could hijack starting an IC at this point.

Then again my last final is tuesday. So hopefully he won't start it before then.

CHARACTER SHEET

Name: Stanley Ribbon, codenamed "The Sonic Boom"

Race: Altered-Human

Faction: The Yancy Street Gang, Fantastic Four

Place of Residence: Yancy Street (Manhattan)

Appearance: Like every typical New Yorker, unless he's going somewhere, he dresses modestly. Looks humble, to boot. At a first encounter, people could gauge him to be somewhere in the ballpark of 16. He stands at a whopping 5'10" and 164 pounds; fairly average. No distinguishable marks. Brown spiky hair, brown eyes.

- In his alternate ID, however. He wears a unitard with a mask that covers his entire face, but leaves his hair exposed. The unitard is a gradient white-to-gray, with green accents.

Personality: A dreamy idealist. Strives for the top of the mountain. Amazing sense of duty and willpower. Emulates the Fantastic Four.

Drivers: No one motivates Stanley like the Fantastic Four, and their every-once-in-awhile partner, Spiderman. He feels the need to fight this growing evil with everything he has, despite his lack of experience.

Equipment: Beyond the normal belongings, Stanley only has the costume Reed Richards gave to him as a small form of apology after the accident.

Strengths: Stan has friends. Many friends. Friends in both high and low places. He's an easy person to get along with - unless you don't enjoy pep. Also, he has an awesome tendency to never give up. If it must be done, then it Will be done!

Other than that, he can be incredibly motivating. If anything, he's young, inexperienced, and very possibly annoying, but man, can he get people to work together.

Weaknesses: On the low end? Rejection. Being a social butterfly, he truly feels society can coexist easily. You just need to know how to like people. As for everything else, Stanley's biggest weakness is one of his best strengths; his sense of duty. If he sees corruption or evil, he will attempt to take it down, stop it, hinder it; whatever it takes. He'll know when he's over his head, but guilt will eat him away until he fixes it.

Lastly, he truly believes he can get anyone to help him. Regular people, even. His faith in normal society is nearly sickening, when he knows that normal people just can't do what he can. Nevertheless, he tries.

Primary Power: Wind Manipulation. Since the incident at the Fantastic Four building, Stanley has come into possession of some horribly altered DNA. He is now classified as an "Altered Human", thus part of the criteria for Registration. He can now alter or create any kind of wind current as long as there is a remaining atmospheric pressure to control. With it, he can increase the "kinetic" force of his punches, creating localized sonic booms. This kind of enhancement can be used on any individual, not just himself.

Additionally, through this alteration, his ears have become immunized to incredibly loud noises, like sonic booms. Depending on how much control he has, Stanley can even alter his reflexes. His potential for such a power is nearly endless! Being almost completely untrained, however, he sticks to what he's good at; his Boom-Punches and wind torrents..

Secondary Power: None. (In no mood to beg for additional powers!)

Background: Born exactly where he lives now, Stanley Ribbon was a permanent member of one of the only gangs to be affiliated with a super-team; the Yancy Street Gang. Being friends of the Fantastic Four, the Yancy Street Gang worked hard to keep crime non-existant in their area. Thankfully, their hard work proved fruitful in the resulting years, especially with growing kids like Stanley there. He grew up quick and happy, just like his parents wanted; he even met the Fantastic Four!!

By the time he had reached double-digits, Stanley made frequent visits to the Fantastic Four tower, always wanting to be around and talk to "Uncle" Johnny. He had so many things to learn and hear from them! Even if he didn't understand Mr. Richards so much, it was still fun to listen. For some reason, the child was heart-warming to the Four, and they let him around when they weren't busy or doing anything dangerous; with permission from his parents, of course.

The teenage Stanley didn't change much from his younger self. He retained much of his youthful innocence and bright-eyed enthusiasm; a rare quality indeed in Manhattan schools. People couldn't help but like him, he had such an amazingly charismatic personality! All of that changed quickly though, in the wake of the Skrull Invasion...

The Yancy Street Gang tried to handle what they could in their neck of the woods, while Stanley tried his part as well. He felt they needed more help, there were just too many people to keep safe. So he went to the only other place he could go where he knew he could get help; the Fantastic Four tower. The lobby was found completely empty, with Stanley being barely lucky enough to remember the input code for the front doors when the tower was on lockdown. He took the private elevator up to the Four suites, and found it mostly empty, save for a massive metal ball with evenly spaced holes all around it. It had cables attached in strategic places, and the room had this constant hum reverbing from the metal walls.

Stanley couldn't find any of them! He called their names, yelled for many minutes in each different room, but with no fruit of his effort. Giving up, he investigated the room with the metal ball once more. The ball sat on a raised dais, like a over-ripe metal fruit just waiting to be plucked. It tempted him to at least touch it. But he resisted, simply looking it over curiously, wondering what it could be for....

Suddenly, he heard the whir of the Fantasticar, and couldn't help but reflexively hide behind the dais of the metal ball. What if they scolded him for coming here without their knowing?! Oh, crud...

"Sue, I need you to engage the proton fuselage circuits at 73 percent capacity. Johnny, the neutron emitter at 44 percent. Ben.."

"The connectas, I got it."

Mr. Grimm's lumbering bulk could be heard stepping on a platform further back in the room, while he grunted to lift a set of massive heavy cables to open vents on the side of the Fantastic Four tower. At this point, Stanley should have just stood up and revealed himself, but he was stunned. For what reason, he didn't know. Still, in retrospect, Stanley agrees that his inaction was possibly the worst - or best? - decision he had ever made. For what was about to happen was going to change him forever.

"On my mark, Ben, open the vents. Johnny, Sue, engage circuits. Good.."

From his perspective, Stanley didn't notice a containment barrier fall into place in the exact spot he was sitting in, but he DID notice the metal ball right above him start to shift and glow..

"Increase power to 80 percent.."

He could hear the jingling of metal ringing on metal as the ball shook in its casing. The floor vibrated beneath his feet, and he could almost swear he was losing feeling in them...

"Full! Now, Ben, open the vents!"

At that exact moment, the ball leapt into the air as the containment barrier bulged. Power bombarded Stanley's frame as he was plastered against the barrier, every molecule and nerve ending in his body firing off confusing pieces of information, mixed with pain no real person should ever suffer. Screaming wouldn't help, and for all he was worth, Stanley didn't. He was a doll being torn apart by a god, for what he knew..

"Oh my god! Reed! Disengage the Sound Bomb, Stanley's in there!"

"...WHAT?! How..?"

"It doesn't matter, SHUT IT OFF!"

...What little Stanley remembers after that is lost in amnesia, as he blacked out from the pain. He wakes up a week later, covered head-to-toe in a body caste. It is explained to him that he has undergone forceful genetic rearranging, and will never be the same.

....Awesome!

YOU GUISE ARE THE BROEST BROS EVER.

ALMOST AS MUCH AS THE GUY IN INSANITY...

STARTING (HOPEFULLY) TOMORROW, I'VE DECIDED SINCE I CAN'T THINK UP MY OWN CHARACTER I'D DO NICK FURY; LIKE MY AVATAR.
