Because of his frost giant biology, Asgardian upbringing, but born again as citizen of earth, his entire existence is a mystery. Is he good? Is he bad? Is he both like he's usually portrayed in mythology and some other dimension's creation of entertainment? He doesn't even know half of it himself, but Benjamin Baker strives to be good. He knows there are realms far away that doubt him, but he's determined to flip the coin, and show what's on the other side. But what is that, exactly? We'll find out soon enough.

Benjamin Baker grew up with his terrian parents in Boston, and some might say it's one of the best shots he's had at a decent childhood. Without a brother to overshadow him, nor a Kingdom to pressure his shoulders, OR LIES THAT-! Loki! No! I'm writing your character sheet now, beat it. You'll get your turn, okay? Okay. Okay! Where was I? Oh, yes, sorry about that, heh: Benjamin grew up as a lonely child, living the dream as an outgoing kid, with the ordinary dreams of becoming popular, join the football team, and pose with a girl on each arm. Cursed with the past and wisdom of a damned celestial however, Benjamin quickly got in trouble, because temptations were just too...*sigh* Juicy.
He always knew he was something greater than mankind, and that they scowled at him for his arrogance. His parents feared he might carry the super gene, or that their house was haunted. Either way, Benjamin's age grew with the fights and lies. Remembering more and more from his past life, Benjamin knew he could not confide in his fear ridden parents of earth. He carried his own fears as well, hidden deep under the secret of who he really was. The fear of having Thor, Odin or any of the others knocking on his door, only to bring him home to another cell- because, well, who would believe Loki to change? The judgement and skepticism towards his new life, he could easily picture it. If they even knew he had ever been reborn again, would they risk another mistake? The doubt was haunting him. So he distracted himself with friends, parties, gaming, rebel behavior, drama and chaos. As he finished school and moved to New York for work, he settled quite nicely, but as his inner, tortured soul got heavier to bear, his focus changed. He needed a higher purpose. Saving a John or Jane doe now and again was not enough. Preventing one crime after another using his abilities in secret was not glorious enough. Benjamin started to seek out a group of heroes to join.
