Yep, still workin' on it, just been a little busy recently and haven't had the chance to finish it up yet.
 
I have to ask : Can Potion Crafting fall under Devoid with the physical augments? My character would drink her own elixir and would genetically change her so that she can gain her desired ability.
 
Personally, I class potion creation as a water ability, in that you're manipulating the water to have effects, though it kind of branches into dark as well in that you're corrupting the water, or Light if you're making it holy.
 
yeah this comes down between water and devoid. I knew this was going to happen down the line. It actually could fit into nature because you use plans and herbs for the potions and such. IDK.
 
I usually have a kind of "dustbin" element for all the things that don't really fit into any single thing, but are almost something. A character in such a place would be able to use 2 or 3 elements to a tiny degree but be unable to specialise in any.
 
Hmm. It sounds like what we have right here. I mean it could be devoid. The body augmenting part of devoid is just an example of magically changing faces or voices. Though by making potions to make them, I would think that is not actually a magic skill at all.

But, I want to say that this crafting would be a combo of the nature plus water/or/devoid. But then these individual skills would be seemingly lackluster or even useless by themselves.

Personality: Illa at times she spaces out becoming lost in her own thoughts. She is very calm, but can be aggressive if you provoke her. Most of the time her face either looks worried or it's a blank face.

Background: Childhood
In Illa earlier periods of her life was hell for her. Her father is a leader of a gang that is raising it's ranks of being the baddest bunch in her town. Her mother being a thieving harlot she mostly steal clothes and jewels; helps her husband from time to time. They are constantly in a love and hate relationship. She can't remember a time where they just said that she loved her. The only person that showed any kind of affection is her older brother Asion. Well, when he is not drugged up. Illa helps him through this lack of drugs in his system. But, he does not stay long he either leave when his argues with the mother, fighting with the dad, or he found some new stash of drugs. Illa spend most of her time in forest gazing at the snowy mountains. Her favorite time to look at nature is when the sun is peeking and the warm rays of light hits the snow on the trees, leaves, mountains. She would make a family out of snow and talk and laugh with them as if they were real. They felt real to her.

Preteen
Things gets even harder for her because her father swings at Illa when his wife is not around. Mother becomes more absent so dad needs a new punching bag. At times during her father episodes she catches her mother coming in but then leaves seeing that what would happen if she were call him. Illa would limp into the forest with less clothes on and lay on the snow to cool down her bruises. One afternoon she crawls into the woods laid in the snow like always. She closed her and fell asleep. Three hours past she wakes up seeing snow covering her like a blanket. A little confused staring at the snow then is moves a little. This cause Illa to jumps up looking at the snow that is still in a form of a bed sheet. Illa grabs it to lift it up. But it only kept it's form for a few seconds. Illa stayed in the forest for a week and discovered that she can manipulate the cold and ice. This gave Illa's life something to look forward to when she wakes up. She returns home from that the week long self discovery for something to eat. She see her brother and was about to show him her powers. Though dad comes in and killed Illa's enthusiasm. Asion whisper to Illa that she is coming with him this time. Illa is overwhelm of happiness she tires to calm down so her father don't sniff her joviality. Mom comes home yells Asion for stealing her jewels. The father get on the mother's side into the argument.

Illa get nervous of her brother who might leave her again. Asion punches his mother in the face to just handle thier father. He pulls out his knife and so does the father while laughing at his son. The battle was a fierce one slinging each other to the walls while the wife cries in the mirror because her face was bruised. Cursing everyone like a maniac. Illa was frozen while all of this was happening. Asion knife fell out of his hand, but before he could react the dad shove the knife at in his chest. Illa cries over his brother body while the mother stares in disbelief. Ten minutes past the father order Illa to get him the liquor in the cabinet. Walking scared for her life the kitchen to get dad's favorite dog glassed liquor. The father snatched it form her he drinks heavily. Quick intense anger came over her and focus on the liquid , in now time the it gets cold. Illa yells as the liquor turns into ice and pierces through her father. Just like that he falls. It's over her suffering is done. The mother walks over to the kitchen to see her husband died with blood dripping ice shards poking out of his head. It didn't affect her as much she thought it should have. She told Illa to get her stuff and come with her. They left and traveled north to this academy. Seeing that they are getting closer the desired destination her mother talked to her daughter about her grandmother that had the actually the same powers. She points to the building and tells Illa that building is now her home. She give her 20k with a picture of her great grandma and her diary. Her mother kisses Illa on the forehead told her to find a man the tall purple hat and tell him that you are Edwina's great grandchild.

In Dragonbrone Academy

Illa is super excited to be in a place where she can work on her abilities. She completely emerged herself in her power. Every free time that is available she studies and practice nonstop. She believe if she keeps this up she will easily past Edwina.

Ultimate Goal: To master her powers.

Primary Magic: Ice

Specialized Magic: Demonic Ice: The users can generate and manipulate the mystical demonic ice, which cannot be melted by mortal means (though is very weak against anything of a holy nature, drawn straight from the darkest fears sentient minds have about winter, ice and arctic areas, including the fears of treacherous ice breaking, burying/devouring, damaging or tripping the victim in malicious awareness. Demonic Ice can cause excruciating pain upon contact instead or cause instant death, possibly even for relatively beneficial purposes, such as summoning spirits of the deceased temporarily back to the world of living from hell. Some users can even use Reanimation or Resurrection via Summoning the damned and/or Demons.

Bonus Aspect: Demonic Infusion – This curse of having a demonic spirit housed within Joshua's body makes it so his own body is weak against things of a holy nature; to the point that he can't even enter holy places like churches and is even aware of people who house holiness within themselves due to a great uneasiness he will feel when in the vicinity of such people. This also applies with holy items.

Noteworthy Items:

Gloves of Vengeance: These gloves when wore grant the user a great boost to the wearer's offensive magic, allowing them to unleash greater volumes of magic; though this only occurs when the wearer is in a conflict with any form of adversary that the wearer is vengeful towards.

Twin Skulls of Binding: Two enchanted skulls used for binding low level spirits/demon to that have been defeated by the wearer and storing the entities within them so that they may be summoned from later on or be destroyed if the skull they reside in is destroyed.

Personality: Joshua is a very stern individual who feels he has a score to settle with anyone or anything that does something that will even at the very least annoy him; never mind actually upset him. His gaze is as cold as his ice magic but he clearly retains a silent rage within himself at nearly all hours of the day just waiting for a poor soul to rub him the wrong way so he can unleash it.

However Joshua is a young man who believes in the sense of duty though most of the time it may be duties he has come up with to carry out himself; Hence why he has no problem carrying out acts that most people would see as cruel, horrific or inhumane. Joshua simply doesn't care about most of anything except for his fellow former Dragonborne students for they are the only real thing he cares to attach himself to and becomes the coldly protecting older brother of the younger Dragonborne students.

Background: Joshua Rapture was born an orphan and raised in an orphanage within a small city by the name of Rapture. All kids brought to the orphanage are given the last name Rapture as well as their own first name. Once Joshua reached nine years of age he was "adopted" along with a few other orphaned kids by some mages from the Dark Magic School in the kingdom of Kilaso. Joshua and the kids didn't know that they actually possessed some innate magically capabilities but the mages did which is why they adopted them. Joshua was trained and taught within the school same as every other student. He was taught how to utilize his magic, he was being educated historically and he made friends through the next seven years.

When Joshua turned sixteen, one of the same mages that adopted him into the college who turned out to be one of the professors gave him a proposal if he wanted to protect his home and friends. Joshua of course agreed for he wanted nothing more than to protect his new home and family. This is when a ritual took place that infused a demonic entity within Joshua's body. This led to Joshua becoming specialized in Demonic Ice magic thereafter. With this curse that makes him uneasy around anything of a holy nature; the mages of the Dark Magic School asked two things of Joshua only a year or so before the light and dark schools were merged. "Top priorities…protect the students and integrate of the Dragonborne School…and second…Be it angels, demons, mages or man alike…let none tarnish our name without feeling the strong arm of vengeance." Around this time being when he was gifted his Gloves of Vengeance and Twin Skulls of Binding to help carry out his duties.

Also in the few years before the schools became merged; the demon inside of Joshua would begin speaking to him, tempting him at first but once it found out it would be quite difficult to control Joshua's stern personality it instead goes on to quite occasionally speak to him in his own mind multiple times throughout each day. Becoming so acquainted with Joshua that the demon even gives Joshua its name which is Agorax; a demon known to retain a dark purplish skin, small matching purplish horns, icy blue eyes and flat human like teeth. Getting to know each other well enough that you could almost call them companions or at least as much of companions you can be between a human mage and a demon as Agorax does occasionally sway Joshua's opinion on some matters from time to time when it falls close to his own thoughts. Joshua brings everything he knows with him into this new school filled with his family…and the literal arch rivals of his family…Angelhearts.

On Going Goal: Protect former Dragonborne students

Ultimate Goals: Become a Grand Mage worthy of spreading/preserving the old Dragonborne name and powerful enough to properly command the demon housed inside himself as well as other more planar entities.
