Sure, every week after school, you were put into mortal danger, in a frilly outfit that did not protect you, against monsters you could not really comprehend and traumas you'd never get over, but you got your wish in return, right? Maybe it was returning your illness-ridden mother to full health. Maybe it was so that you could get perfect grades on your report card. Maybe you just really wanted free ice cream for life. Regardless of whatever (likely stupid) thing you asked for in return for your services at the tender age of 10, you got it!

Of course, the contract didn't last forever. The power imbued within you by the MAGIA is meant to only keep you fighting in your best years, when you make the most rational decisions, from ages 10 to 18. Only eight years of service for a pure miracle! We all know just how fair it was.

Magical girl mortality rates are higher than they've ever been and you didn't notice that your contract came with the stipulation that any time you were needed in the future, you could be conscripted back the MAGIA in order to save the world! Welcome to MAGIA: No Pension for Former Magical Girls?! I've had this idea forever and have been wanting to a magical girl style rp where all of the characters are middle-aged and sick of this shit. Essentially, the plot is that there is a dark force that is destroying the magical girls that have been protecting the realms. Instead of friendship and sparkles prevailing like it normally does, these girls are getting straight up murdered. It will be up to our characters to figure out what this evil force is and how to stop it, before the realm is destroyed for good.

If you are interested and you sound like what I'm looking for, please dm me! I might be a little bit selective in who I let in, mostly because this plot is my baby and I really want to try and find a group that works well together.

Looking for:

• Roleplayers who will post at least once every two weeks with replies that are at least a paragraph or two long (looking for 4-5 people!)
• People who won't god mode or metagame and play fairly
• People who won't be rude ooc (you will be kicked for not knowing how to play nice! and I will say this now just so people know, this roleplay will be trans and non-binary friendly. So long as the character identifies as feminine, they are allowed to be a magical girl. If you have a problem with that, kindly escort yourself away from my thread!)
