"The City?"

Chad nearly choked on his cigarette at the mention of this. Why in the hell would the director put him of ALL people in the city to investigate, did reverse psychology actually work? When he was trying to get fired or disregarded, he got sent on a mission of ridiculous importance? Chad sighed to himself and nodded to the director at the end of his statement. Lex seemed pretty distant from the conversation really. Chad liked that about his hound, unlike the one that sneered next to Delini. Something didn't seem right about him, and even the Director seemed to believe that. They knew something.

Finally Chad pushed up from the desk and started off in his own direction. he used his finger to beckon Lex to follow him, and only turned back to face the director when he was closest to the door. His voice was abnormally serious for once... This was the time that he had to take the job seriously, people were dying.

"Wolfers, I expect the receptionist has the files Ill need, with names of who ill need to contact, suspects etc?" He caught a backwards glance from Diana, but did nothing to return the gesture. Lex was at his side now and with the nod of the Director Chad took off down the hall.

Just as he'd requested Belle handed him a large file, and he slipped it between his arm and body. Lex had not seen Chad like this before, they hadn't even really done a mission yet, and as it seemed this one was bound to be something of a doozey. "Lex, do you have weapons, if you do get them and hide them well.." Chad pulled his right leg up to grasp a knife and he pulled it up to check its sharpness. The weapon had a gold almost electronic edge to it, that made it seem much sharper than a normal knife. Chad then checked the ammo of both of his two hand guns and holstered them behind his Jacket. Every weapon he had was hidden, but he still looked ten times as menacing. His eyes became daggers, and even the way he moved to light his cigarette before they stepped outside the building made him seem menacing. After a few moments of exiting the place he spoke again but he didn't need to look at his hound for him to understand.

"Oh... Just so we are clear. If you think of defaulting when Im slaughtering your brethren, if you consider leaving my side when i need you, I will kill you in the worst way I can think of, and in case you haven't noticed Lex..." he leaned in and whispered the last part into his hounds ear. "I am pretty creative."

With that the two of them headed for South Sage to start their investigation.

"You seem to be worked up over some shitty reason."

A tall young man who'd seemingly appeared out of nowhere leaned against the wall as he set his eyes on the Claire, his lips quirked into a slight, lazy grin. He was pale of complexion, had dull green eyes and long, somewhat messy red hair hanging loosely down his shoulders. He didn't look particularly strong as he was rather skinny of body form, but anyone who knew him well would know better than to underestimate his abilities in combat. With his hood, jersey and old jeans full of deliberate holes, he looked like quite the punk. "Anyway, Claire... I have a job for you, if you're interested," smirking, he slid his hand into his pocket before pulling out a paycheck, waving it a little in the air, "with a considerable amount of payment if you do well. Might even be enough to bring some order into this place and replace those broken babies of yours," he tried to smite her with words.

Slipping the paycheck back into his pocket, the young man produced a package of cigarettes, offering one to Claire before taking one himself and lighting it. "It's not really an offer you'd want to turn down, would you? Especially not after all this.." yawning, he motioned around the room before placing the cigarette between his lips, drawing a deep breath.

This wasn't the first time Lark approached Claire. Many times in the past he had tried to hire her for jobs. Now, if he succeeded or not completely depended on the situation, but he knew bribing her with her weaknesses to be rather efficient. Now he could only hope...

"So, what do you say?"

"You seem to be worked up over some shitty reason."

Claire almost seemed appalled by those words, she spun around and faced the stranger. She pulled the pistol out from her back and aimed it at directly between his eyes.

"Anyway, Claire... I have a job for you, if you're interested," he then spoke again. She tilted her head and squinted her eyes, her long black messy hair bouncing with her sudden movement. "Who do you think you are bub?" She began "to come into my humble home, and except me to take a job offer especially after you just insulted my valuable babies. You got another thing coming" she finished. She didn't want to seem weak, so she tried to act tough, heartless, and most of al-"with a considerable amount of payment if you do well. Might even be enough to bring some order into this place and replace those broken babies of yours," the man continued as he pulled out a check

"d-deal!" She said almost jumping to grab the check. Her weakness, her drive. At this point she doesn't care for who this guy was or he works for...all she cared for was that check. She couldn't say no to that, specially in her situation. And he pointed that out clearly, thoughts of what she could do with that. Buy some drugs, consoles, maybe even a expensive camera system so she could play spy at night. Oh the possibilities almost made her squeal with joy. Then he slid it into his pocket never to be seen again...She regained posture and her arms dropped, she then turned around and used the hand that held the gun to scratch the side of her head. She sighed, looked at all the damage and the tree and the ruble and so forth and so forth. She again faced the man, and took the cigarette in hand. She then used the lighter he had before returning it. It had been a while since she had smoked, years even. She started at 13, quit at 16, and now started again at 23.

She placed it on her lips before taking a drag, the end turning to ash as she did so. Her hand with the now lit cigarette, fell to her side holding it between the middle and pointer fingers. She put her gun in between her pants, and let the smoke come out from her nose then her mouth as she talked.

"So what's the job then?"

"You're ridicules, of course you can be sick," he muttered, sounding slightly irritated, "you definitely are..."

"You can cry you know..."

Shinji's expression hardened for a moment and he averted her gaze, turning his back on her before replying simply. "I'm fine. It's just another death," his voice was cold, hollow, his bangs casting a shadow over his eyes as he swallowed hard. Shinji didn't truly realize how incredibly wrong and cold his words had been. He didn't realize what he said actually meant. Despite how emotional he actually felt, he tried to completely detach himself from his feelings- not realizing how much it damaged him in the process. It was the same method he used when killing... only this time, it didn't work. His hands were trembling, his shoulders shaking slightly. If I'm going to cry, I'll do it alone... yet no matter what he tried and told himself, no matter how hard Shinji worked to suppress them... the tears came. One after the other, spilling onto his pale cheeks, rolling down and in the end dripping onto the floor.

He heard a noise. Someone was approaching them. Quickly he wiped those tears and took a deep breath, glancing up at Makoto who'd entered. Damn it, I hope he didn't see me cry. That'd just have been too embarrassing, a slight flush spread across his cheeks.

"General? It's me."

"This should help. When the bowls are empty desert will be served."

"..." the last thing Shinji wanted at the moment was eat. He had the feeling that if he tried, he'd just throw it back up. As such, he couldn't help but feel slightly sick, even if the soup in the bowls looked good. "No, but thank you..." he murmured, averting her gaze as he rubbed his arm.

Diana narrowed her eyes as she listened to the director's words, doing her best to ignore the presence of yet another hound in the room. To think that something could break into the facility, and so easily...if that was the case then what was to stop the various monsters imprisoned inside from escaping? The thought was horrific...even if all capable agents were assigned to hunt them down straight away the carnage that could be caused by beasts most likely half-insane from various experiments was sure to be colossal.

She snapped out of her thoughts abruptly as the director gave her her orders, her stony expression completely masking her idea at the thought of having to live amongst such creatures. Not only that but to befriend them as well...she was a huntress, not a performer. But it wasn't as if she could refuse and she wasn't childish enough to complain about a job she had chosen. "Yes, Director Wolf..." She sighs, managing to keep the reluctance out of her voice. "I'll go at once. Am I to take my hound with me?"

Diana wasn't sure whether the child would manage to remain undercover in such a high risk mission. Going alone wasn't without it's dangers either, but at least then if she slipped up and got caught she would only have herself to blame. For Diana taking responsibility for someone else's mistakes was about the same level of unpleasantness as having a tea party with all the faction leaders would be. Taking into account Tomoe's slightly unpredictable nature and the bloodlust that showed itself when she was on missions it seemed unlikely that she would be able to control her sadistic impulses enough to hide her identity.

"I think it might be difficult for her if I were to take her with me...but orders are orders and I'll follow your judgement."

Lex only moved from his position against the wall when Chad beckoned him over to him. He barely registered the rest of the words as the two of them began walking out of the Director's office and down to the receptionist. When the thought of weapons were brought up, Lex just scoffed. His spines, claws on his four arms and two legs, and his fangs were more than enough weapons, so why be weighed down by trivial things like guns?

"I don't need any weapons."

The words were short and simple as they left his mouth and he observed his partner. This was the first time Lex had seen Chad serious in the hours he's known the other male, which shouldn't seem like too much, but considering the usual attitude of Chad, this was a big thing. Observing the many weapons his partner had, he checked his own nails to make sure they were sharp and poked his spines to test the sharpness, bringing his hand back down when a small bead of blood coagulated on the tip. Satisfied, Lex followed Chad out.

As the two walked, Chad began talking about the fate of the hound if he decided to abandon his partner. When the other leaned over to whisper in his ear, Lex sighed and pushed Chad back, taking a smoke and the lighter to light himself one. He would need to get some for himself. After he lit it and brought it to his mouth, he placed the lighter back in the other's pocket before he spoke again.

"If I planned on leaving, I would have already done it."

And with that, he fell silent as he followed his partner to do whatever it was they needed to do.

Noelani

She felt guilt well up inside of her and it compelled her to reach out, gently brushing a few of the tears away as she seemed to watch him carefully. Ruffling his hair she huffed softly before her usual expression returned. "I promise Shinji, I will resolve this." She whispered as she smiled or tried to before the general sneezed, hands moving up to hide her face as she groaned. "Damnit..."

Makoto came in and the general waved slightly as she stared at the soup. Instantly she scowled, pointing at the liquid in anger. "I refuse to touch that." She hissed as she folded her arms angrily, pouting. Then the delicious idea of cake came to mind and she couldnt help but glare at Makoto as she took the bowl. Murmuring a few darker words she silently, clearly annoyed that she couldn't eat the treats. Eventually she paused, putting the empty bowl to the side as she stood and went to her bed, grabbing her phone as she took a seat.

After reading the text she blinked, clearly suprised as she set her phone down. "Cerberus did something smart..." she mumbled , grabbing the medicind as she looked over at them both. "The remaining family members have been escorted here and will be under protection in case this is all an attempt on them." She stated, scowling as she took the medicine with a shudder. Noelani rarely got ill and so she had no idea it would be so...disgusting.

Yawning she leaned back slightly as she rubbed her eyes, eventually standing up as she headed over to her closet. "Makoto, both of us will go into town to see if anything has occured...this is unnaturally odd and so we need more information." She stated, pulling out her usual outfit of a black skirt and tie along with a white shirt and knee high socks. Throwing them onto her bed she crossed her arms. She wouldnt change yet but Noelani was still irked by this. "Ill send a squad to clean up the house as well...along with moving the body..."

Noelani grabbed the desserts and her mood seemed to improve as she nibbled at it happily. Sick or not. "Cerberus is going to stay with the family to protect them. . ." She paused, turning to shinji as she cocked her head. "What do you want to do? I mean you may be dismissed to be with them and mourn..."

"No, but thank you..."

My eyes narrowed at him, but with a sigh I looked down at my bowl and continued eating. I could force him to eat... I glanced over at the general who started to refuse the food. She, on the other hand, I could force, her weakness to those disgusting sweets made it easy. I was content when she started eating.

"Cerberus did something smart...

By the time she finished I was already munching on my potato sticks. I stared at her as she spoke and was completely surprised. For once the mutt actually uses his brain? I wonder if he is more pleasant to be around this way... Nah.

"Makoto, both of us will go into town to see if anything has occurred...this is unnaturally odd and so we need more information."

I nodded. "Right. I will be ready and waiting for you at the entrance." I bowed my head to the two of them, grabbed the tray with them empty dishes, handed Shinji the cookies, then walked out before he could refuse them. In the mess hall I put the empty bowls at the kitchen window and handed the tray with the two filled bowls to another watcher.
"Find Cerberus and give this to him. He should be in this building... somewhere. Do not give him any more for breakfast, or you will regret it. Not even if he asks. Tell him I said he's lucky he is getting two, but the second is a reward for actually doing something smart for once."

I walked away then, and walked to my room, which I grabbed my boots and glasses from and put them on. Afterwards I walked to the entrance and waited.

"Wolfers, I expect the receptionist has the files Ill need, with names of who ill need to contact, suspects etc?"

"Indeed. Now get out of my sight before I change my mind," Director Wolf replied coldly, watching the irritating duo leave. Once they were finally out of sight, Wolf couldn't help but let out a slight sigh. Honestly, he couldn't really care less for the deaths of the monsters. They were lowly creatures, after all... beasts without the intellect of a human being. Savages, abominations that should never have existed in the first place. That was what the director thought of them, and so he hoped the rest of the people working at the ministry did. It had been drilled into their minds since the day they discovered the existence of monsters, after all. Nevertheless this mission was still of great importance, considering someone had managed to break into the facility. Even just the mare thought was slightly unnerving to Wolf, who had up until then believed it to be completely impossible. If someone had managed to get in, chances were that somebody else would also be able to break out. This was not something he wished to risk, and therefor he wanted this case solved as soon as possible.

"Yes, Director Wolf... I'll go at once. Am I to take my hound with me? I think it might be difficult for her if I were to take her with me...but orders are orders and I'll follow your judgement."

Wolf turned his attention to Diana, tilting his head slightly to the side as he considered this. While there could be danger in having the hound come along, there was no doubt that the child also could offer Diana protection. Usually he wouldn't fear for his highly skilled agents safety, but since she now would be entering a den of monsters all by herself... needless to say, there was a danger in doing so. At the same time there was no doubting the fact that Tomoe could possibly expose them and ruin everything, fickle as the child was. Considering all possible outcomes, Wolf finally came to a conclusion.

"Take the child with you. If nothing else, this could be a good experience for her... if she, however, shows any signs of trouble- at all. Do not hesitate to kill her. This might be a chance to test her loyalty, and efficiency as a weapon. Deadly as she is, we cannot afford to harbor a rabid dog. Testing her should have been due long since," he reasoned, giving his consent regarding the matter. Without further ado, Wolf gathered the documents on his desk, before boxing them and then standing up. He started to stride out of the office, glancing at Deleni as he went.

"I think we have wasted enough time already. Are you coming, Deleni?"

"So what's the job then?"
A slight smirk flitted across the youth's lips as he took another drag. He had, without doubt, caught the fish in his net. Now the only thing he had to do was to overcome to difficulty of having his fish slip away, as he laid out the deal. It was no simple task he was asking her to do, after all, and chances were common sense would butt in. With Claire, he hoped this was not the case.

"The boss would like you to retrieve a certain object from the biology center in the southern district. Their security system deflated during the storm, which should make it possible to break in without too much complications. There is a time limit, though... as they without doubt will manage to get it back up and working at the end of this day. Therefor it is of utmost importance that you hurry," he paused for effect, opening his bag to take out several maps and blueprints. One of the blueprints were of Southsage's sewers, which was the easiest way to get into the building. "The easiest way would be going through the sewers, though that means entering rat territory... which could be a danger in its own. Nevertheless it is the way I would recommend you take, " he laid down another blue print on top of the one mapping out Southsage's sewers. This one depicted several floors of the biology center.

While most floors were open to the public, there were some that only staff with special permission could access. These were generally the laboratories which had been sealed off as a way to prevent the scientists working there from being disturbed by the common people. There were some areas, however, which hadn't even been mapped out on the blueprints available to the public. These contained both confidential information, as well as scientific projects. Naturally, most monsters and humans inhabiting Southsage weren't aware of this, and where Lark had received this knowledge was a mystery. Either way the hidden rooms had been somewhat crudely added to blueprint with a red marker.

Lark pointed at one of said hidden areas located on one of the buildings underground floors. "The item in question is a microchip presumably in possession of a scientist going by the name of Doctor Joun Spruce. The boss wants you to retrieve this microchip as discretely as possible, and then hand it to me tomorrow around the same time as now. So... what do you think. Does this sound like something you could do? Of course, if you succeed you will be handsomely rewarded." the smile he was giving her was almost reminiscent of a devil trying to trick a human into making a deal. He took one last drag of the almost finished cigarette before dropping it to the ground, stomping on it once in order to put it out.

"Claire Wyoming."

Shinji watched the scene before him unfold, a look of irritation slowly creeping across his features. Sure, he was sad about his adopted father's death... but slowly his feelings of sadness and regret were replaced by something else. Rage. He was angry. No, he was outraged. Not only had they dared kill someone he held dear, but they had done it in the most gruesome ways imaginable. Not only was he dead, but they had disgraced his corpse by dismembering it, by making it grotesque and ugly. What was the reason behind doing such a thing? Who would have a motif to killing his father in the first place? Shinji couldn't understand it, couldn't make sense of this situation...

And yet, instead of trying to figure out a viable solution, here was was, barely able to keep back tears like the weakling he had always tried not to be. Not only that, but they were talking about useless stuff like cake and... and...soup. Were they trying to make fun of him? Somewhere deep down, Shinji knew this was far from the case. He knew they both meant well... but right then, Shinji failed to realize this. He was hurting, and he needed to get rid of this pain somehow. Anger was easier to handle than sorrow, blaming those around him made more sense than blaming an invisible culprit Shinji lacked the ability to comprehend.

"What do you want to do? I mean you may be dismissed to be with them and mourn..."

"Don't be ridicules," Shinji replied, a cold edge in his voice. His eyes were empty, his mouth forming a thin line as he pressed together his lips in thought. "We had better figure out what the heck happened. Were there any more victims? Is our main suspect human or monster? Who could have a reason to murder my adopted father in such a gruesome manner? And what did the symbols on the wall mean? I believe deciphering them would lead us to an answer..." he lowered his gaze, staring at his quivering, clenched fists. "... either way, the culprit wanted us to see the corpse. They must have meant to send some sort of message... yet who was the message directed at? And what were they trying to say?" Shinji was trying to go about this in the least emotionally influenced way possible. He wanted, no, needed to figure this out... for himself, and his family, if no one else. He owned them as much for having raised him so kindly.

Shinji lifted his head, gazing straight up at Noelani. "Is there a possibility that one of the other factions were behind this?"

No matter how he looked at it, this didn't seem like a crime a human would commit. In fact, it seemed impossible for a human to do so. Humans didn't have any abilities, nor were they equipped like some monsters. While it was possible for monsters with certain abilities to murder someone while keeping everyone else in the surroundings unaware of it, it simply wasn't something humans were capable of doing. At least not as far as Shinji knew... besides, what was with that storm? And the fact that no one had turned last night? Was everything connected somehow?

As these thoughts surfaced in Shinji's mind, he began pacing impatiently, trying to somehow puzzle everything together.

"Gaaaaaah!" Eventually Shinji gave up, pulling at his black hair as he slumped into the sofa. No matter how he looked at it, he was missing too many pieces of information to understand this situation. He would need to find out more about everything before he could start connecting the pieces... currently everything was just one giant mess in his head.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Shinji lifted his gaze slightly, gazing in the direction of where the sound had come from wearily, before hearing the familiar voice of a fellow messenger. Johanna, a messenger girl who had started her job recently. Shinji hadn't been in too much contact with her, but enough to tell that this was indeed her voice.

"Lady Death? A message has arrived from Ringleader Conquest..." she informed, somewhat nervously, by the sound of it.

Noelani

Grey stared with a blank stare at the young watcher, her own hands were still despite her annoyance at the crime but it was her concern that had the leader silent. What could she say? Peering over to her bathroom she grabbed her clothes, still gagging slightly from the taste of the medication as she wandered into her bathtoom to change. For a moment she paused, her lips pursed as she shook her head. Noelani was unable to ignore such a crime for it was her task to prevent rules being broken. Plus, only she could punish those who did and the family she entrusted Shinji to were some of the few she held some trust in.

A few minutes later she escaped the white porcelain room as her hands fumbled with the navy tie, her annoyance evident as she turned to Shinji. "Most of what you have said can be presumed correct. It is a message, both the state of your adoptive father and the symbols." She paused, frowning as she sat down to pull on her shoes. "Though I doubt they are targetting you or your family... it was probably a random pick since they were a peaceful family." Noelani hated to admit it but she honestly couldnt fathom why they would target the family. Standing up she finished by adjusting her socks as she stared back to Shinji.

He brought the factions up and she huffed, closing her eyes as she shrugged. "I suspect them first since I doubt humans would be so gruesome.." that didnt mean that she didnt have her doubts. Of course she planned to look into the annoying humans affairs to see if they were involved. If so...she would make sure whoever it was felt Shinji's pain. Stepping over to him she dropped her hand on his head before she sat next to him. "Carnival are annoyingly peaceful so I doubt them...Aristocrats are to stuck into their own affairs and that leaves War." Lady death finished before facing her door. "while I naturally see that it could be them due to the crime, as the general I cannot act till I have evidence."

Noelani hated to watch Shinji like this, so she was slightly glad when her name was called from the door. Eyes settled upon the door as she pulled herself up, her movements having less grace that usual due to her cold, to walk to the door. Pulling it open she stared, her usual cold stare set upon the young female as she took the letter. Prying it open she was silent, consumed by the black letters standingly boldly before her. Eventually it became clear that the faction leader was angry because it was almost as if a chill escaped the woman as the paper was crumpled within her hands. Without thinking the fear inducing aura streamed from her as she turned to the messenger. "Thank you...Please return to whatever you are doing." She hissed, her eyes narrowed as she shut the door.

The faction leader went over to her bed wherer the katana sat, her hands gripping it tightly as she huffed, calming down. She didnt think telling Shinji was the best idea since it slightly ruined their lead on the killer so she shoved the message into her pocket, grasped her phone as she unlocked the device. Staring at the time she turned to Shinji, clearly settled back into her usual self she held her steely expression. "We are going. Come." She stated, shoving her phone into her pocket as she headed to the door where she waited for Shinji to leave before she locked it. With that she walked to the entrance silently, looking fot Makoto so she could explain her Intentions.

"Understood, director. I'll send a report once we've infiltrated the carnival," Diana nodded politely before quietly excusing herself from the room. As she walked down to the labs at a brisk pace her mind drifted towards her orders to kill Tomoe should the hound prove a liability. It was true that after being in active work for a year with a first rank the girl should have had some sort of defining test by now but due to her age Diana had wanted to wait. Not that she had any sort of sentimental attachment to the girl or that she would hesitate should the situation arise that the hound needed to be put down.

Her footsteps slowed to a stop outside the door to Tomoe's small room and Diana knocked once before entering, shutting it quietly behind her. "Tomoe? Gather your things, we're going on a mission. It may be a long one so if there are any...favourite toys that you need for comfort please collect them now," She said, a slight frown creasing her features. Considering that Tomoe might own these things made her seem too human to Diana, and the girl certainly wouldn't have gotten any of them from her. Even though Diana did occasionally reward the girl for missions gone well she tended to stick to candy and cakes, so that the evidence would be eaten.

"I still have some of the more casual clothes we've gotten you for stealth missions in the past at my apartment so we'll take those, I think your preferred outfits will make you stand out a little too much and you might be given some sort of costume when we get there. We're going to join the carnival..." Diana added with just the faintest hint of a smile.

My head turned towards the door as I sat on my bed when I heard a knock on the door. Listening to Diana's words I went back to playing with the 4 dolls on my bed; my clown Seven, 2 teddys, and a girl doll.

"A mission? And I can bring toys?" I lifted Seven in the air. "Would you like to come?" I nodded his head. "Yay!" I swung my legs over the edge of the bed and stood up with Seven hugged in my arms. My violet kimono dragged the ground and the arm sleeves hung, over-sized for my small body. "I think I have the perfect outfit in mind so I'm not to draw too much attention."

The thought of going to the carnival was exciting, clowns, costumes, animals, my only problem with the carnival is their peaceful ambitions, which means they don't cause much trouble. As a result there's not enough blood. Oh well, at least there is cotton candy.

I walked up to my master. "I'm ready to go."

Diana glanced around the small room as she waited for Tomoe to finish interacting with her toys, a slightly bored look on her face. "Are you sure you have everything? We won't be coming back so if you forget something you'll have to live without it," She sighed, looking down at the small girl once before turning and walking out of the room.

"Now, last night there were a number of suspicious killings. One of them even took place in the labs, although I suspect you'll have already heard something or other about that one..." Diana began to explain as she begun the walk back to her apartment, not knowing whether or not the monsters in the labs would have been gossiping amongst themselves about the murder. "Because of this we need to gain more information and infiltrating one of the factions is the easiest way to do this. The carnival is currently located outside of the city and we are going to go there and ask to join. Obviously I'll be pretending to be a monster, but you don't need to worry about that..."

Diana paused, looking at the girl to check she was listening before she continued. "Will you be able to play along if I say that we're sisters who have lost our parents? If it's too much for you I can try to think of something else, or you can simply refrain from talking. You'll most likely have to use a fake name as well..." By this point they had reached Diana's apartment and she ushered the hound inside, shutting the door behind them.

"You remember where your clothes are kept, don't you? Go and change, and pack your backpack whilst you're at it, but don't touch anything that doesn't belong to you."

I nodded then followed her out. I never really needed much, Seven always kept me entertained.
I stayed close behind Diana and listened as she started to explain the mission. When she brought up the killings I couldn't help but to smirk.
"Yes. I could smell the blood from my room." I quietly said as I chuckled at the thought of it.

"Will you be able to play along if I say that we're sisters who have lost our parents? If it's too much for you I can try to think of something else, or you can simply refrain from talking."
I tilted my head to the side and gave a sweet, childish smile. "I can do it, big sis." I said cheerfully as I walked inside Diana's home. I walked into the back room where my stuff was stashed. The dots of my fingertips flashed once before bring about the colorful world. Shuffling around the room and moving things I searched for the outfit I had in mind.

After a few moments of looking I finally found them; a grey coat, vest, leggings, gloves, and scarf with a big bow on it, a plaid green miniskirt, and a matching undershirt. I changed into the outfit then unwrapped the bandages over my eyes. I walked up to a mirror on the wall and the 4 dots on my forehead flashed letting me see my reflection. I grabbed a brush and groomed my hair, fixing my bangs to fall straight stopping just above my white pupil-less eyes, which flickered to a pink to match Diana's though the pupils were still missing, then pulled the red hair in the back into two twin pony tails that brushed against my hips.

Satisfied with my attire that covered all of the dots on my body, I pulled on a pair of knee-high grey boots, packed a few more outfits in a backpack, spun around on my heels, and walked back to the front room. Diana was the last person I saw before darkness filled my vision once more. With a smile I hugged Seven. "I think I'm ready. Is there anything else you think I should bring, sis?"

Chi Okami

Okami...A wanderer, a killer, a thief, but most...a monster... He walks through the city alleys with no direction.

He, in an alley close to a Pub/Bar with his 2 wolves waiting for some drunk man to rip out his pockets and his head if possible.
*A man goes out of the Bar and walks close to the alley*

Okami uses order his wolves to take the man's feets and drag him to the dark.

-"...."
Man-"What? Uh? What's this? Who are you?"

Okami...in silence walks towards the man with one of his daggers in hand, with a quick move of his hand he made it to take a wallet from the man's pocket.

-"...You, take a deep breath"

Fastly Okami rushed toward the man and cuted his neck while his wolves tear apart the ma's body. Okami and his wolves dissapeared in the alley's shadows looking for the next victim.

(This is just an intro of Okami, you guys don't have to follow it)

~Dineyra Rubius Blanche~

"WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN!?"

Ahh yes, the lovely pull of the thriving school had happily dragged Dineyra back into its midst. Hell, she had half a thought to completely skip seeing as how she was exhausted and spent the night in a cave...for the millionth time. No seriously...she slept in that cave a lot, seeing as how her human form was so...stifling. Try to picture a full grown man, most likely obese, trying to squeeze into a size 3 dress in Juniors...then you would understand Dineyra's pain. Glamours were not comfortable. In fact, they pretty much were the most awful punishment to force upon any large monster....But hey, measures had to be taken in order to not get caught when trying to buy a bulboa tea, eh? She could always just get a new Glamour, but that would mean having to set up an entire murder crime scene or some kind of suicide thing just so that she would be able to move on...and that was complicated. What REALLY did not help was her run in with the Agent yesterday.

Thinking back on the whole predicament seemed to leave a sour taste in Dineyra's mouth. It had been unsettling to see an agent...especially when she had not see one in almost 30 years, and to now have ones not only so close in the vacinity, but to also have one know her face, sent a chill down her spine.

Claire took a drag of the cigarette, she looked down at the paper taking a mental note of all the rooms listed in this. questions popped up in her head, like what is so important about this microchip? Or why is it that his "boss" was interested in her? But she knew how these criminals worked, keep her in the dark type crap. She wondered if this would be like a contract deal. Once she works for them, she always works for them. until they find her useless and end up disposing her like trash. She knew she could hold her own against the odds, but how long would that last? all of these gloomy thoughts left an empty feeling in her stomach, either that or the smoke was still in her lungs.

"alright... I can do it, same place same time" she repeated nonchalantly , smoke pouring from her mouth and nose as she spoke, the smoke taking a darker gray, almost black. Something her body did when she normally smoked, cool street trick to rake in money when she was just a runt. "it doesn't matter if I kill a couple geeks if they get in the way right?" she said raising an eyebrow and taking her last drag and dropping it to the ground, not bothering to step on it.

Brian let out a exasperated sigh as he was told to stay at the base...and how did the director know what he had done back on the street. it was something he couldn't get used to, was how knowing he was of everything the agents were doing. whether it be eating an apple, to having a drink... no privacy huh? something you sign away when you work for the ministry. But again, it was his only choice to make if he had a shot at taking vengeance.

He watched as the rest of the agents left to do their mission, leaving him to stay behind with his hound. "I think we have wasted enough time already. Are you coming, Deleni?" Brian nodded and turned behind him to see his hound still standing there. Was he to leave it unattended, because Brian knew how the director hated the hounds...but Nero was to powerful to leave behind, so he motioned him to follow. "yes sir" he said nonchalantly tailing behind the director.

@Sinopa

Diana let Tomoe wander off to get changed although she still wasn't comfortable with having the girl in her home. She entered her own bedroom and began rifling through her large wardrobe to find clothing that would be suitable, eventually settling on a slightly oversized grey sweater dress, thick woollen tights and slightly scuffed brown ankle boots. After carefully brushing her long hair and plaiting it into a single braid over her left shoulder Diana then packed a large rucksack with the rest of the clothes she was taking with her along with various other items someone who had been living on the street might have. She also included her sword, but sheathed and carefully wrapped in an attempt to disguise it should anyone be snooping through her things for whatever reason. Hopefully it would still be easy enough to get it out again if she needed it.

After shrugging on a long black jacket Diana dragged her rucksack back through to the front room to wait for Tomoe, who emerged only a few moments after she had. "No, I think I should have everything else we'll need," She smiled, pleased the child had shown enough initiative to change the colour of her eyes so that they would look more alike. "Are you hungry? Do you need to use the bathroom before we leave? Other than clothes and...the clown...there isn't anything you'd really need to bring anyway. You don't normally use a weapon and trying to start with on in the middle of a crucial mission would just be foolish." She sighed.

@Strawberry275

"Then I am ready to go." I grinned.
This mission filled my tummy with butterflies, it was exciting to go undercover. I wonder who we'll meet, will I be able to sharpen my claws on someone? No no no no. I shook my head. I have to control myself, orders for an undercover mission are to not blow our cover by killing unnecessarily! It's more fun this way. Buuut, if our cover is blown for some reason, that would not be me, then I would be allowed to paint the carnival in red, right? I guess only if they attack first... Stupid rules...

I stepped closer to my master ready to follow her out and begin this intriguing mission.
