HISTORY
Lillian was born the product of a teen pregnancy, her mother being 18 when she was born. However, Lillian never got to know who her mother or father were. Instead she was placed into an orphanage at only a few months old where she was given only the basic necessities. The caretakers weren't neglectful, they just didn't give her the nurturing affection a mother would. Growing up in the orphanage Lillian knew one thing; it was a dog eat dog world. However, being a werefeline in a mostly werewolf orphanage had her seen as an uneasy target.

As the years passed Lillian learned to fend for herself, to fight for what she wanted, and to sleep with one eye open. Each day was the same, though the chores she did were different. A more day by day system for the chores, completely random. While she didn't experience any physical harm, Lillian was neglected when she became able to take care of herself. The caregivers would provide the food, water, and shelter. Other than that Lillian took care of herself.

Growing up her only friend was another werewolf, Ivy. Though she was younger than Lillian, Ivy became an older sister figure, to the point that Ivy's personality rubbed off on Lillian. They grew close over the years. So, when she was kicked out of the orphanage at 16 Ivy's pack took her in as their own.

Since then Lillian has lived in Black City, working as a tattoo artist and pursuing a career in writing.

HISTORY

Clover was always well off; from the day she was born Clover never had to watch her parents struggle. Food was always on the table and there was a roof over her head. There wasn't a time in her life that she could remember where she struggled…well at first that is.

Around 10-years-old Clover's life changed forever. Her family had just moved to Black City to open a law firm, her parents both being defense attorneys. It was during a particularly difficult case that Clover's parents started receiving death threats from anonymous emails and phone calls. It went on for a few days until it started to get physical. Their house began getting warnings on their cars and windows, bricks thrown at the house, and worse of all the threats started being pointed at Clover.

This went on through the entire trial, only for the defendants to be called guilty. The next few days everything was silent. No threats, emails, or phone calls. It was just quiet, almost too quiet.

One night there was a knock at the door then shuffling. Clover was in her room at the time, well until she heard the scream, her mothers scream to be exact. She bolted downstairs only to be met with the masked faces of 4 men and her mothers body on the floor bleeding. 2 of the men were restraining her father. Everything after happened so fast. She was pinned to the ground with a blade to her throat, her mother was shot, and then everything went black for her.

The next day Clover learned her mother and father were dead. With only one place left to go Clover was turned over to her grandmother, Gloria. Her grandmother was nice, but quite strict. Day in and day out the woman did her best to help Clover, pushing her to be a better person to stop wallowing in sadness and self pity. It got to the point of them having arguments about responsibilities and the likes.

It wouldn't be for another few years, age 13, that Clover finally trusted and listened to her grandmother. In fact, the two grew closer as the years flew by and eventually Gloria became a loving guardian to Clover. Though it was thanks to her grandmother's stern nature that Clover went down the path she has.

The next years went by uneventfully, nothing happening until she decided to go to college for criminal justice. By now, Clover had a career she was gunning for: a police detective. 4 years later she enrolled in the police academy and 8 months later she joined the police force. And after 3 years she became a detective. Clover stayed in that position for 2 years before being promoted to a homicide detective.

Now having been working as a homicide detective for 3 years, Clover has become experienced in her field and thrives in her environment.

Elizabeth Owlen was born into a rather large family. Being the youngest of 6 she often felt neglected as she grew up. While her father worked as an accountant her mother stayed home and took care of the kids as best she could. Of course there were issues with some not getting enough attention than others, but Lizzie knew her mother loved all of them. In her early years Elizabeth felt rather lonely. Her siblings were 5, 8, 9, 12, and 14 years older than her, which meant none of them had anything in common with Liz.

So, when she finally started school Lizzie was excited to make friends, but that's not quite what happened. Her excitement left her shortly after starting kindergarten when kids started to pick on her for the hand-me-downs she would wear, as she they didn't have enough money for her own clothes.

From 5 to 12 years old, Elizabeth put up with everything, keeping her feelings bottled in and never letting anyone know what was happening. Liz feared what would happen if she told, so those years she held out as best she could. But then the depression came. It was during when she was 10 years old that it developed. With her lonely home life and bully filled school life it was a wonder it didn't show up sooner.

The next 5 years Liz would live in a state of numbness, a husk. Then came the days she wanted to feel something, anything, even if it's physical pain. One day, she had enough and started to harm herself. This would go one for several years, being 15 when someone noticed the constant long sleeves, sweatshirts, and the bandages that hide underneath them. It was her 4th oldest sister that found out, having walked in on her in the middle of harming herself.

A week later she saw a therapist and even a psychiatrist, who would put her on medication that only made her feel more like a husk. Talking to a therapist wasn't helping her much either, seeing as Liz refused to speak beyond one word or one sentence.

Then came the day she overdosed. Being 17 at the time she was taken to the hospital where Liz was forced to drink charcoal and be admitted into an inpatient facility. For the next week Lizzie would work on taking medicine that worked and what coping was. After that week she was let out, feeling better than when she entered.

After that day Elizabeth swore to take care of herself and her mental health. Having finally seen the light of hope Liz finished high school and was admitted into college to study Graphic Design.

Now living in an apartment with a friend Lizzie attends college and draws art for money to help pay for her schooling.

HISTORY

Augustus' life started out difficult. First born of Linus and Arabell Frederick, he was often ignored by his father and mother; only getting attention when he needed to be fed or changed. He grew up feeling no love from his parents even though he tried to be happy and behave for them. It would be around his 11th birthday that Augustus' parents forced him to work for the royal family, telling him it was time to pitch in. In less than a week he was working as a lowly Kitchen Boy. It was long days and dirty work, making him go home exhausted and covered in muck. These times weren't too bad, the longer and harder he worked moved him up in the hierarchy.

At 20 Augustus' only sibling was born, his little sister Abigail. To him it was a miracle, to finally have a sibling to care for like his parents never did for him. However, their parents thought differently. Abigail was an unwanted and unexpected pregnancy. But when she was born Augustus made a vow to never let anything bad happen to her.

So, the next years of his life Augustus would work harder to move up, make more money to bring home, until he can finally take his sister away from their parents. But, during this time Augusts' brought Abigail to work with the royal family. She started as a scullery maid, working in the kitchen as he had done. As Augustus moved up in the ladder as did she.

By the present Augustus' had made it to the top of the ladder, becoming the house butler after the last one "removed" from the position. As for his sister, she had made it to house maid.

Born of the union between an elemental fae and earth magi. Growing up Felix felt nothing but love from his mother. She was his light. As for his father, the man pushed Felix to be 'tougher.' His father was an alcoholic that would take his anger out on his wife and Felix. Felix's mother would take the brunt of his anger, not wanting her son to feel pain. His first 15 years of life were full of abuse, physical and mental. Everyday Felix lived a nightmare that he didn't know how to escape safely.

Then came the day his father went too far. Felix was coming home from school when he heard the screaming, his mother screaming. Running home the sight he came upon still haunts him. His mother was bloody and bruised on the ground staring up at his father with blood stained clothes and bloody knuckles. Felix was frozen in the moment, not moving until his father was standing in front of him. A few minutes later Felix too was on the ground, bloody and bruised. He reached out for his mother, wanting to save her but unable to in his state.

Then, he watched his father kill her.

The police showed up an hour later, after his father had disappeared. Felix was rushed to the hospital and treated while his mother was taken to the morgue. His mind was numb, would be for the next 2 years as he worked through the sight of his mother dying in front of him.

By 20 Felix was finally starting to come back to life, starting to feel normal. He was in the process of going through college when he met her, his first love. She was everything he could ever ask for. Their romance was a whirlwind of passion and love, or at least that's what it looked like for 8 years. But good things always come to an end for Felix.

It was their 9th anniversary that Felix had finally gotten the courage to pop the question. He had it all planned out, a moonlit walk to a candle lite picnic under the stars. There was wine and a meal he prepared himself. Everything was perfect. Except he didn't factor in one thing, he waited too long.

When he went to pick her he expected to find his soon to be fiance waiting for him, instead he was met with nothing. Texting and calling her did not work, knocking on the door was met with silence. One thing left, he opened the door and walked in, not surprised it was already unlocked. The lights were off and it seemed deserted. But then he heard banging coming from upstairs. Panic set in as he had rushed up the stairs and into the master bedroom, where the noise was coming from.

Felix froze when the door opened before his head lowered, hands balled into fists, and rushed out of the room and house with his first love calling after him. Seeing her with another man, enjoying herself more than she seemed to with him, it broke his heart.

He broke things off and blocked all contact with her. Moving on was hard for him, floating from partner to partner only for them to break it off with him after a few weeks or months. Every woman judged him for guarding his heart, until he met his second love, the woman who destroyed him.

Angel was the woman that Felix stayed with for the next 22 years. At first it was smooth sailing, leaving him to wonder when the boot would drop. But it never did, in fact they got married after 5 years. Things seemed to be finally looking up for him.

Then the boot dropped. It was slow at first; changes in behavior, more aggressive responses. After a few months of things slowly escalating it had finally gotten to the yelling and throwing things, but that was one sided. Felix refused to raise his voice or even lay a hand on Angel. Meanwhile she was yelling and beating on him.

Years went on like this, Felix would walk a thin line and hope to not set off a fight; correction a beating. By 48 he was used to the bruises and cuts, the yelling and berating, all of it. He thought his life would be like this forever, bound to end up like his mother…dead. However, 2 years later Felix left the relationship after police were called several times to drag Angel away from him. Several nights she was in jail just to come out again. So, he left.

2 years have passed since he left Angel. Now, he runs a plant shop in the South Sliver and is finally healing.

HISTORY

The second born to criminal parents in Merrow, Imogen has always looked to her sister for advice…even if it wasn't always good. Though their parents had been caught for their robbery work and embezzlement, thus why they had been forced to live in Merrow in the first place, they did not change their ways. Philomena and Imogen were always swept up in their schemes, forced to participate. Imogen wasn't for this at all, agreeing with her sister on not wanting to do it.

As young teenagers, their parents gathered the ire of a powerful magi, who in turn, cast a curse upon their family, that they would be stuck together until the end of time, unable to find a moment of peace ever again.

Philomena and Imogen were the sole recipients of the curse. Their parents had prepared curse wards beforehand, sensing that retribution was heading their way, thus began the sister's cursed lives, intertwined forever. They could no longer go more than 10 feet away from each other without experiencing extreme physical pain, their vision blurring and muscles tearing from exertion.

The two of them, now dependent on each other, fled their parents as teenagers, though they only managed to find housing in another part of Merrow. Now, the two of them rely on hacking to make their living.
