Michael watched her intently. He noticed where she was staring.

"Uh, you okay Ash?" he asked with one of this irresistible smiles he was good at giving.
 
"uh-" Ash's eyes jerk back up to Michael's and she nods quickly. "yeah, im fine." she quickly lies down rolling on her side with her back facing Michael. silently, she curses herself, the color still evident on her cheeks.
 
Michael smiled and snickered. "Even though we have a fire up I'm pretty sure you'll be cold eventually...you need any extra warmth??? You have a big teddy bear right here," he said with an inviting smile that she couldn't see.
 
she sighs, tension easing into her limbs. Ash replies coldly, "I'm fine. thanks though."
 
Michael nodded to himself. He was almost certain he would get a yes. Michael turned around and laid his head down. He began to doze off slowly.
 
Ash succumbs to slumber quickly, falling into the holes of her nightmares.
