They told me to watch out for my cousin on our big trip into the city. I ignored my friends in the back and diligently sat beside her. She's dozed off, unsurprising since she stays up all night. I guess I never saw her as anything but a friend before, but when she shuffled around in her seat and leaned her head against me so sweetly, and the elusive scent of her hair filled my thoughts, I realized I had feelings for her more complicated than I ever realized.
