Lonely Melody

He wasn't suprized at her question but yet smiled instead. "Now you can relax in your room you already know the way, I apologize but I must make the arrangements for your items to be transported." with that he gave her a bow and hurried off leaving her in her state of shock. He immediately went to have a packing and moving company remove her items from her previous home to her new new home. He was quick and efficent, when it came down to orders taking steps in leaps instead of steps to get things done and ready for his next order to be given to him.

Needed to stop being so surprised when he would walk off without notice, it seemed to be a trait everyone had around here. She stood there a moment realizing what just happened and it became real. Turning around she made her way to her new room, closing the door behind her she sat down on the edge of the bed and looked around. Flopping back into the bed she was surprised to find out how comfortable the mattress and sheets were, "Wow..." was all she could manage to say in that moment.

Her things arrived 2 hours later being carried in boxes outside of her room. Marcusa knocked gently to alert her to his presence. "Miss Elizabeth the movers are here to set up your room would you please be so kind to tell them where you would like your things set." He would have done it himself but he gave her the liberty to arrange her furniture the way she wanted it instead of making it into something she didn't want.

Sprung up from her laid back position on the bed, she hadn't moved that whole time, it was too comfortable, "What?" She opened the door and her eyes went wide seeing off of her things out in the hall "Oh um... I'll take care of it all, you don't have to do anything." after all she didn't have many things and she didn't want to bother anyone with have to take care of her. Picking up a box and went back inside leaving the door open of him, she placed the box on the bed and walked back for the next "How did yo do this so quickly?"

HE sstopped her before she could grab another box. "Please allow us to help you Miss." he motioned the men to move the boxes into the room as he turned to address her." It's fairly easy when you have alot of money." he gave her a quizzical look. "You don't know much about D'La Cruz Industries do you Miss."

Before she could object the men were already moving her boxes, stepping out of the way and stayed out in the hall. Looking up at him as he asked her 'brows furrow together as her mind worked to placed information to the name, she frowned with a shake of her head "No, I don't. What is it exactly?"

"D'La Cruz is a multibillion dollar industry advancing in music and science, you might have heard about new pain killers that work wonders like Xaiona or Filonamatrate." he tried to hide his amusement as he supervised the men making sure that none of them invaded her privacy.

She gave a slow nod in understanding, "That explains everything." she whispered to herself as she leaned back into the wall with a soft thump. She still couldn't be leave that she was here, never thinking that she could live, let alone be in, a place like this. "His family owns the company?"

A soft chuckle left his lips, "Oh no, Miss Elizabeth. His family is deceased he started the company himself. The money he made from concerts he used to build a music program, that is till a few years ago he began in the science field. Quiet an achievement to solve minor pains but he's current projects are cancer related." He trusted her with information that she could use against Sora but he gave her trust where his master had. "Ah, I believe supper needs prepared so I will allow you privacy to adjust to your new home." he gave her a smile and a gentelmens bow before leaving the room, a worry crossed his mind then, why was Sora so determined to have her stay.

She gave a nod in understanding, she felt sympathy as she had also lost her parents but it was something she didn't like talking about. Thanking the men as they left her room and went through the few boxes she had. She had two paintings, both of butterflies of multiple colors, butterflies were something she adored, hanging them up and smiled feeling a bit more at home in this new place. With in an hour and a half all of her clothing had been put away into the closet and moved her books on herbs and herbal healing to the nightstand, and a few of her own plants by the window "Perfect." she said doing a quick turn taking in her room.

Sora knocked on her door exactly at 8 that evening, as he decided he'd pick her up for dinner personally. He leaned his hip against the door jam and listened for her to awnser being as quiet as possible. He would try to be as easy going as he could but he wasn't all a nice man. "Aye ave a feelin I'ma get knocked." he muttered under his breath.

Perks up hearing someone at the door, she was in a much better mood now that it felt like home "Yes?" upon seeing him at the door she smiled warmly "How are you doing, Sora?"

He gave her a nod in greeting "Dinner." He wasn't sure how to speak to her, seeing how he was bossing her around and making her live with him. He offered her his arm to escort her to dinner. "Shall We?"

A confused expression formed on her face not quite getting what he meant just by saying dinner, then she saw his arm out waiting for her "Oh. I see what you mean now." closing the door behind her as glanced back down at his arm not sure if she should take it or not, but she didn't want to offend him. Hesitantly she took his arm, "Lead the way."

He started thinking as he walked but it was hard when she was their "Do ya like yer room?" Instead of thinking he switched it to an interrogation he was good at those. "If ye don't like it I'll get yer a new room." The dinning hall seemed to far away at that moment feeling like it was on the other side of the estate when it was measly 20 feet away.

Quickly she shook her head at his offer "No, no. I like my room perfectly fine, but thank you for the offer." she realized that he hadn't answered her question. "How are you? Are you feeling better?"

He shrugged avoiding her gaze. "Aye." Scolding himself he opened the door for her. "Dinner is served." Marcusa appeared moments after they sat down. "Tonight we're having herbal salad and roasted chicken fillet. Enjoy." he bowed before opening the kitchen door to let others walk in with trays of food and appetizers. "Bonn appetite."

A small frown pulled at her lips after he gave her a short answer, did I do something wrong? she thought to herself, as they sat down she placed her napkin on her lap and kept her gaze down. She thanked the person who placed her plate in front of her and watched them leave back into the kitchen, this was all so fancy. Glancing at Sora for a moment she turned her attention down to her plate, the food smelled delicious, picking up her fork she took a bite of the salad and smiled "Mmm..."

Sora felt like a stalker at that moment or a pervert as he watched her eat not touching his plate. He forced himself to look away form her to eat but he wasn't hungry. "Are ya enjoyin yer meal, lass?"

Caught his eyes at he looked at her and smiles "Lass?" she giggles softly never having been called that, she thought it was lovely "I like it very much, thank you for the hospitality." she said taking a bite of her chicken. "He is a very good cook." she said after swallowing and gestured to the kitchen where Marcusa was.
