Locked in a Cage (with GaiusGermanicusBloodsoak)

"Yeah!" Yanaike responded. "Our ship, our modifications!" She was happy Reggie finally understood. There was no money required to fulfill your dreams. Just some materials, which could be stolen, a lot of knowledge and some technical skills. She hopped back into the ship, grabbing Cris' note pad back and crossing out his dollar signs. "No money required!"
Wait... what? Yanaike pressed the piece of coal against the note pad and copied the sign Cris had drawn: the letter S with two vertical stripes through it.
"What is this?" she asked curiously as she showed him the sign.

Reggie flicked his head around and looked at her. "Those are dollar signs. You know, they're the symbol for the shit we need to do all this, unless you intend on stealing everything. Now, if we steal everything we need, that kind of defeats the purpose of being a pirate: stealing other people's shit so we can sell it and become rich. Besides, we can't just fly around with a cargo hold full of stuff, that weighs down the ship and slows it down, along with requiring us to use more fuel."

Yanaike shook her head in confusion.
"You talk to much" she concluded finally. "Just let me do the thinking, and then you co do something where you're good at? Like pointless firing cannonballs, or something?" Yanaike giggled and than started running through the airship, dragging her tail behind her.

"Well fuck you too then..." Reggie muttered under his breath as he tossed a pebble in her direction. Sometimes she could be really, really annoying, and this was just another one of those times. Shrugging his shoulders, he shut the hatch of the ship and went back into the control room, sitting down and starting up the burners and inflating the balloon. If she wasn't going to help out, fine, he would just go sell this stuff himself, besides, there must be a port somewhere that he can dock around here.
