Also, I know many roleplayers are more comfortable with roleplaying as female characters but having a plethora of female characters who are straight won't do very well for drama.

  2. No Godmodding at all. It's understandable if you'd like to move someone else's character by a minute action but please don't control a character that is not yours unless it is an NPC.
  
  3. No Gary Sues or Mary Sues. In a roleplay, character development is vital. If you plan on just having your character kill some people and be done with, please don't enter the roleplay.
  
  4. If there occurs any fights or arguments in the OOC, please take it out of the group and discuss it on your own. Don't bring it into the group.

  9. No one-liners at all. The posting requirement is at least two paragraphs. Unless you really have nothing to write which includes your character not even knowing what to think, then you may proceed to at least a paragraph.
  
  10. Real Life > Roleplay. I understand this and I beg everyone to understand it too but you are showing interest in the roleplay, which means you are responsible for it too. I'd like it if everyone can post at least twice a week.
  
  11. If you'd like to quit the roleplay or go on a hiatus for awhile, please do so. But let me know so that everyone else doesn't wait on you.
  
  12. I understand I've encouraged creation of NPCs and second characters. However, do note that having the characters you created constantly interacting with each in the roleplay is a big no-no.   Unlike his sister, Asher's hair developed into a shade of almost dirty blonde, in unison with his usually disheveled hairstyle. Though, he usually slicks his hair back whenever the Thunder Dogs have a match. His build is not as muscular as many assumes he is. However, he isn't short of muscles as playing football allowed his muscles to be more prominent on his calves and upper arms. He stands at exactly 6 feet, another factor that allows himself to be called 'The Golden Boy' whereby perfection is nothing less than him. He is usually seen wearing his red and yellow jock sweater around school. His everyday wear consists of a pair of black slacks, a button-up shirt and a pair of sneakers.

  Many describe him as perfect while others might say he's the most down to earth individual who has a heart of gold. However, only his true friends know his real self hidden behind the facade he pulled up. One might say Asher is one of inconsistency as the choices he make are usually not in unison to what he does in a whole. An example that can be given is that at one point of time, he shows extreme dedication and loyalty to a girl he fancies but other times, he enjoys flirting with several girls at one go. This might be mistaken for indecisiveness but he is the definition of quite the opposite; stubborness is his middle name. Though it can bring about a rather negative air around him, it brings out his kind side as he believes in perseverance towards his friends.
  
  Even though he might be described as a player to some, he is rather dense to the feelings of others, even to the point whereby he may be seen as insensitive. Born with a sharp tongue, Asher chooses to be blunt only to those who he cherishes a lot. He believes that the truth is of the utmost importance, whether it might hurt an opposing party or not. Other than that, he is someone who hold grudges rather easily and longer than the average human can. Because he believes in the truth, he also believes in owning up to one's mistakes. Because of this combined with his stubbornness, he tends to have an easier time cutting ties with others if the mistake is theirs.

She is usually seen with her hair down and sometimes in two braids. Her eyes are almond-shaped in which pupils are dark brown. They're complemented by her sharp nose and oval-shaped face.

Some might describe her body form as ideally-proportional as she is neither skinny or curvaceous but rather, lean with sufficient womanly endowment. Though, she does get frustrated when she wears baggy attires that deem her 'flat as a iron board', as her friends might tease her.

Skylar Kim's one-word summary of herself is flamboyant. Unlike many peers at Haven Peak High School, her ultimate goal is to be envied and/or be looked up to. It may sound very arrogant and to a point, she can be but she relishes in succeeding and basking in the warmth of jealousy. Though her desire to triumph overwhelms others and sometimes herself, she is generally a happy-go-lucky individual. With that being said, Skylar is extremely competitive and can be easily angered if anything and/or anyone goes in her way of winning. Whenever an event/ competition comes up and she is a participant, Skylar can be seen very focused and wary of her competitors. Also, even though she wouldn't admit it, she can be quite the sore loser. However, her honesty becomes of her and she eventually gives in to her denials.

Another distinctive trait of Skylar is the fact that she is a big eater. There was an instance whereby her friends and herself had been kicked out of a BBQ place because she wouldn't stop ordering extra plates of meat. Other than that, she can get on people's nerve as she has no sense of personal space. She enjoys skinship with her friends and isn't afraid of doing so. Though, she is very respectful of her friends and if they do inform her that they are uncomfortable with anything she is doing, she does her best to avoid doing so.

Backstory
History:
The students of Haven Peak High School know her as their resident competitive and high-achiever in many fields at school, typical of a Haven Peak especially since her parents are both doctors at their local hospital. However, her family isn't the most normal one as Skylar Kim was adopted at a very young age. Unknown to most residents of Haven Peak, Skylar's biological parents were actually from the Southside.

She was born to a family of three with her father and mother taking their places in their family tree and her being a lone child. Her mother had a small restaurant in the Southside that featured her own recipes while her mother worked at an auto-repair shop at the border between Haven Peak and Southside. They lived a normal life. They weren't poor and scraping for leftovers nor were they rich and bathed in gold. One day, however, their normal life turned upside down as her mother's business begin to blossom rapidly. Soon enough, she even opened a second restaurant on the other side of Southside. After many months of confusion and suspicion, Skylar's mother had upped and left her father and daughter for another man who had recently made his riches outside of Haven Peak.

Devastated, Skylar's father could only do what any parent would do in such a situation- work harder to place a meal on the table for the both of them, now that his wife had left him. After a year or two, Skylar's father was found guilty of transporting drugs from suppliers to distributors after a raid was conducted by the newly-elected mayor, Helena Rodriguez. As such, after Skylar's father was arrested, Skylar was sent to Protective Child Services before she was adopted by her adopted parents at the age of six. She has no recollection of any events that took place before she was seven but her adopted parents had told her, at the age of thirteen, that she was adopted.

Relationship with Asher:
They were friends or to be more exact, acquaintances as both of them were in Poems & Poison. Skylar and Asher have interacted a few times and even handled a project together but delving more into their personal life, they've never really considered each other as important characters in each other's lives. However, the both of them hold respect for either parties as they've accomplished a number of achievements in Haven Peak High School. Though, Skylar Kim does admit he is rather cute, appearance-wise.

- Skylar had gotten tattoo of the crescent moon at the age of fourteen when she found out her biological father had one on his chest. It meant a great deal to him as he told her that the she was like the moon to him, each phase represented an important memory he kept of hers. Though, his favourite would always be the crescent which represented her birth.
- She turns into a kissing machine when she gets drunk. Her alcohol tolerance is of average as she is able to down a bottle of vodka before getting tipsy.

Description:
Emmett's most notable (yet deceiving) physical feature is his lankiness. Many assumes he is tall and skinny due to his rather long arm and because of his choice of casual clothing. If observed closely, Emmett's broad shoulders are oddly complemented by his lean figure. Though it might not look like it, he does possess a certain degree of abdominal muscles from secretly working out in his room. He has a rather unflatteringly large nose but eyes with dark hazel pupils pulls the attention away from it. Although, his large-framed glasses already provides for help his eyes do. Also, he doesn't have a habit of styling his hair but the sometimes large brown curls makes him look like a housewife from the 60s.

A long cut down his right calf caused by an accident in the forest of Redplum Hill- Emmett had taken his experimental explosive device to the forest to test it out. He had set the device up along the path leading up to the hill. However, he wasn't careful and the explosive device went off a bit too early, startling him and causing him to roll off to the foot of the hill before his calf was pierced by a very sharp branch.

Emmett Griffin is usually seen with a smile on his face as he can be described as rather naive to a point, blindly optimistic. Because Emmett believes that negativity can only bring a person so far in their very lifetime, he always [U[tries his best[/U] at everything he is given. Some might even describe him as a 'sunshine for no reason', he thrives off interacting with other people due to his bubbliness. However, his intentions are mistaken most of the time especially by those of the opposite sex. Because of this, he is rather sensitive in nature and is in touch with his emotions, acting on them more than logical thinking, contradictory to the many assumptions that he is a nerd or science freak.

A trait that Emmett wishes to change about himself is the fact that he can be quite the pushover at times. Because of his naivety, he tends to help others to an extend whereby he might even forget about his own need. He does, however, make up for it by not fully trusting others easily. Though he is all sunshine and rainbow, his secrets and doings are all for himself and no one else at all. It may seem odd that a sunny boy like Emmett had to keep secrets to himself but not all meets the eye and Emmett Griffin is one that gives off a good example. It may seem like a cliche to say but he has his fair share of darkness in his so-called light. Whenever he reaches his breaking point in which the sunny Griffin cannot take, his dark side takes over. Conniving and merciless, he can live up to those adjectives. So far, no one has seen it. Though, not many dare to speak of it even if they have.

History:
Born in the hustle and bustle of the city life, Emmett Griffin had not know what the true meaning of tranquility and peace was until his parents moved to Haven Peak. At the age of nine, his parents had grown an empire out of their dealings with the oil-trading business. They lived in, what he would describe as, a luxurious state that trampled on the very idea of the starving and poor. One might have thought Emmett would have grown up as the typical spoiled and rich boy but principles were enforced in and out of his house by his parents. They weren't the best of people living in this world but they taught him not to look down at others that weren't as blessed as they were.

When Emmett Griffin was eleven, his mother's sister, Helena Rodriguez, the mayor of Haven Peak needed help with being re-elected as well as the influence of bigger influencers to ensure she stood in a place of power. In that light, she had also suggested that a life in Haven Peak could serve a rather positive outlook on Emmett's development into a grown man. As such, Emmett Griffin alone was moved to Haven Peak where he stayed with his mayor aunt until he was sixteen years old. As a gift for his birthday, his parents had moved him into a house of his own, believing that he needed to be more independent. However, through his gratitude and smiles shown through video messages and calls, Emmett Griffin wanted nothing but his parents and older brother with him. As a way to cope his loneliness, Emmett found a hobby through experimentations of possible explosive devices made from everyday items. He told himself that instead of whining and acting against his parents' will, he would follow through what they had planned for him and show that he will get through this. That being said, that didn't mean he doesn't resent his parents even the slightest bit for placing him through this.

Because his auntie was the mayor of Haven Peak and his parents were wealthy beyond belief, Emmett figured he could have a little fun without needing to worry about repercussions. He became one of the main dealers of Rainbow Crunch that is still in operation at Haven Peak. Though, he works through a few other students and under a pseudonym- C4D.

- He's a top dealer of Rainbow Crunch and is known as C4D.
- He was the male who slept with Asher Lenford. That was before he realised he was demisexual.

Relationship with Asher:
They did not have any form of relationship together in school but outside, they did. Griffin and Asher were rather good friends. It started out when the both of them met coincidentally in the forest of Redplum Hill. Because of such an interaction, they understood that befriending each other in school could possibly cause issues due to the invisible status quo. As such, the both of them maintained friends outside school.

She has a piercing on each ear, and another piercing on her lip, that hasn't been worn in a while. She also has a tattoo on her calf of a whale, that she got for her mother.

After Liza went through a rough patch, she lost a lot of her bright and positive attitude, she has become more of a realist, living more from facts than hope. Liza is extremely blunt with everyone when she has a problem with someone she will address it and if someone tries to talk to her, she won't hold back if she has a problem, which makes her a little less friendly.

Liz also has a hard time trusting others, it takes a while to get through her heavy border, she will trust you with all her heart, and will never leave your side. When working on a project or something that is important, whatever problems she has with someone she will put aside, and finish the task at hand.

Taking straight from her mother, her braveness and leadership have always been one of her biggest attributes, whatever is handed to her she will get done and finish, even if it takes months when Liza puts her heart to something she gets it done. She also is very stubborn and when she thinks she is right she will stick to it, and will not give up until she proves her point.

Backstory

History:

Since Liza was born, she knew she had a great life, she had the best friends you could ask for, she went to a great school and had great grades, and had loving parents. Liza hasn't always been close to her father, since he always going on business trips, but when he was away her mother was always there to comfort her. Liz and her mother were two peas in a pod, her mother was her best friend, closer to her than anybody. Her mother always called Liz her mini-me, up until the accident.

When Liza was 14, she had a piano recital which was one of the biggest she had been in, with over 2000 people attending. As Liza was getting ready and was shaking off the nerves, something hit her, she forgot her gloves. Of course, to any normal person this wouldn't be a big deal, but to Liza, her whole day was shattered, she had been planning for months and not having the gloves she thought would ruin her perfect event. As she was freaking out, her mother came to her rescue and helped calm her down, she was going on stage in 20 minutes and her house was 8 mins away, her mother told her she would drive home and grab them since she wouldn't let her perfect night be not perfect.

It had already been 20 minutes and her mother wasn't back, she assumed that she had gotten into heavy traffic. As the announcement came on she knew that her mother wouldn't be back for her performance, but she sucked it up and performed, she nailed it and got a standing performance. As Liz left the stage, many people congratulated her, but right after hugging everyone a police officer came over and told her that her mother was in a car accident and that she didn't make it.

After losing her mother, Liz lost a lot of the traits and core that was made of her, she lost her optimism and her love for the piano. When her mother passed, her father came back home to try to be a better father for her, but by that time it happened, she shut him out and pushed him out of her life, ever since then her father has tried to reconnect, but hasn't worked.

It was almost 2 weeks since she lost her mother and Liza had still not left her bedroom, besides the funeral. Almost 30 others came over to her house for the reception, she could hear others asking questions about why she wasn't there, but she was so stricken with grief and guilt that she could barely leave her bed.

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*, Liza had told her father already to not disturb her, but she knew how persistent he was. "Dad please stop, I already told you please just leave me alone." She yelled through her softened pillow, she had told her father numerous times that she can't handle more people. "Hey, Liz it's Asher."

Liz jumped up off the bed and walked over to her door and twisted the lock when she opened the door she went straight for his chest, hugging him, Asher put his head on hers and comfort her.​

Rowan is picked on a lot for how short he is, being only 5'7 which is much smaller than most guys, he makes up for it with mass though and is pretty built, he has dark brown hair that he usually grows out and brown eyes.

He recently got done two piercings on his ear, and a two years ago got a tattoo with a horse on his half that says, MOM.

He has a couple bruises around his arm mostly from work, a scar about 10 cm long, and a mole on the back of his neck.

Rowan doesn't really pay too much to his style since he puts on whatever he can find in his closet, but usually consists of his black leather jacket.

Personality:
When people think about Rowan's traits that may come up are Antisocial, rude, even maybe depressed. While some of those may be correct, many ranges from his lack of people skills since his childhood. In actuality, Rowan is a really responsible and compassionate guy, he may be thick layered and hard to get through, but once you open up he will follow.

One of Rowan's major traits is his passion for doing things he loves, such as writing and directing, which only comes second to his responsibility to his brother, who he puts first even more than himself. Rowan never really had much of a childhood and has put it upon himself to basically parent his brother, making him become an adult younger than he should have.

So once you get through his wall, Rowan is actually a really caring and sweet guy, he just needs to trust you in order to actually see it. Cole is a really bad sport, it makes him really competitive and might blow stuff out of proportion. When Rowan gets angry or stressed he's shown to lash out and throw his anger at someone or something.

Backstory

History:
It wasn't as bad when Rowan was growing up, sure there would be the casual yelling arguments here and there, but it wasn't as bad as what had happened later. Rowan loved his mother, they would do everything together and even when she had his brother, she would give him the same amount of love and compassion. Rowan and his brother were born 4 years apart, even though the age range the brothers were like best friends and would rarely argue.

Rowan was 14 when his mother had a cardiac arrest, the doctors had pointed that it may have been caused by overwhelming stress, which made sense since she had been the only one working and doing the cleaning and getting groceries, working her ass off while his father slept around.

As time went by things would get worse, the boys and their father would have to move out of their house into a trailer in order to pay for rent, and their father's painkillers. In order to still pay for everything, Rowan would have to get another job and help pay for the things they needed, while also still taking care of his brother. With the painkillers all in his head, their father became worse and began verbally and physically abusing them. There was one night when Rowan was 15 he had been working a 5-hour shift when he came home to hear his brother screaming, Rowan ran to his room to see his father hitting him on top of him, Rowan doing in instinct jumped to his brothers aid and beat the living hell out of him, knocking him out.

Minutes later officers were on the scene and had come and arrested both Rowan and his father, there were multiple instances and reports that his father was abusing them and this time was able to arrest him, while also Rowan was sent to Juvie for physical abuse to an individual and was stuck there for 2 years, while his brother was put in the foster system.

Finally, Rowan was 17 and out of juvie, for those 2 years Rowan's goal was to help his brother and take care of him, he knew that the responsibility it would take and had done it before, so there was no second thought. It took a year but he finally tracked down in a town called Haven Peak. When he finally got there he was an old couple who were fostering Jessie, he lept right into his arms and were so happy to reunite.

It took a bit for the legal actions to take place, but the brothers were finally together again and decided since Jessie had so many friends already that they would stay there, with the limited cash he had, Rowan got a good paying job as a barista at the Lava Java, and started renting a trailer in the southside, it wasn't too comfortable, but it was home as they were together.

As most work days, Rowan was working his usual 5-10 shift. The day was as normal as usual, getting names, ordering their coffee and yelling their name. As he was calling a name he knew he recognized it, Asher Lenford, or the 'Golden Boy' as what he heard most say.

He overheard Asher complaining about his father and saying how much of an ass he was, Rowan without thinking twice butt in the discussion. "Ha tell me about it!" Asher looked over to see the barista and instantly knew who he was. "Wait you're the new kid right? Rowan was it?" Rowan reached out his hand. "Yeah, and you're the Golden boy right?" A pretty boy. Junie is without a doubt a pretty boy, flower boy, all the same. He has a lovely face with dark eyes that might as well simply be dark pooled orbs. Yet, only one of his eyes can be seen as the other is usually hidden by a patch. His skin is fairer than most girls despite never putting any real effort into keeping it smooth and nearly flawless. It isn't perfect though, he has scars to ruin in, scars he keeps hidden. He stands at the height of 5'9 with a slight and skinny frame, but that doesn't mean he's all skin and bones. A carefree spirit with a cheeky attitude and streak of mischief. Juniper is a very easy going person, not a lot can get him upset nor get under his skin. This is mainly because he cares little about what other people think of him and holds each and everyone at arm's length for his own benefit. But this also makes him slightly insensitive to others feelings, because he doesn't care so much for them he has no problem saying rude or hurtful things. He's not oblivious to this, the boy is very observant, staying quiet and watching from the sidelines. [History]
Junie's history is a slightly complicated one. He was born in the southside and raised there for more than half his life. His mother and father never married despite living together, they argued day and night. His father was a rather loving and caring man to his son, but could hardly stand to be around the house because of his mother, besides that, it was nearly impossible for him to be at home long. The man worked day and night to provide for his family. While Junie's mother was miserable and quite ill, mentally. She took out her frustrations on him, it only worsened when his father was arrested for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, something easy to do when you are in the southside.

His mother no longer had to handle the house duties, which she already did poorly, but work. Junie suffered by her hands greatly until she finally departed from the world of the living by taking her own life. He was placed in a foster home, but not long after he was adopted by a wealthy couple in Haven Peak after helping their child.

His right eye suffers from amblyopia, not only that, but its natural colour is sky blue. He keeps it hidden underneath his eyepatch.

He also suffers from anaemia, a weak immune system and delirium.

He wants to leave Haven Peak, but he doesn't want to leave his father behind. Though, he barely remembers the man's face. His adoptive parents won't let him meet with the man, thinking he is a bad influence on him.

A soft smile crept across his face as he leaned back in his seat, staring at the standing blonde male. "Why, Mr. President, what do I owe this great honour?" His smile grew when Asher snorted. "Can I get you a drink? I'm afraid I only have . . . " His eyes wandered away to his tray and spotted the Kool-Aid. "Pink lemonade Kool-Aid to offer you, sir?"

"Haha," Asher rolled his eyes but smiled none the less. "I want to make sure you are still coming to club after school. You tend to forget a lot."

There's not much to Lottie's history, born in the southside, raised in the southside. She is the youngest of three girls and was lucky enough to have both her parents in her life. Her family was happy regardless of their living conditions. However, making friends had always been a problem for her and she often got into fights even as she grew older. And eventually, it led to her hanging out with the wrong crowds. Her parents became upset with her behaviour which she felt was hypocritical because her father hadn't been working a legal job in the longest times. To solve their problems, they sent her to Haven Peak's school hoping she would have a better future than she would.

"Stunts, jumps, run tumbling ... " Lottie quietly read the sheet of paper to herself as she rested her back against the hallway wall. "I can do that. " She mumbled to herself with a shrug. Just by looking out at the tryout information written on the sheet, being a Haven Angel would be no big deal for her. She had been flexible since she was a child, jumping around and pulling stunts that got her into trouble often. The girl was confident she would win all points in every field that was listed, however, she wasn't at all confident she'd apply or make the team. After all, she was already in a club, a fight club and she was quite fond of it.

Still, the prospect of being a Haven Angel was a compelling one. It was silly, though, wasn't it? Charlotte Bertram a cheerleader? The girl who was jumping in the air kicking people's teeth in since she was thirteen? She could hear not just the school laughing but all her "friends" within the southside too. It was simply ridiculous.

Charlotte huffed and crumped the sheet of paper in her hands before tossing it toward the garbage can. The ball barely made it halfway before it hit Asher Lenford, who seemingly came out of nowhere, in the face. The blonde boy winced before picking up the paper and opening it. Charlotte launched forward and snatched it from his hands, but he had already read enough by then. She glared at the boy before marching over to the can herself and dumping her paper in.

"I never pegged you to want to be a cheerleader."

There was the short silence that feels between them before an embarrassed Lottie inhaled shortly and took the first steps to walk away.

HISTORY​

Contrary to popular Asian family stereotypes, her parents were not married because it was arranged.

Samuel Sung met Amanda Lee in New York City in the most cliche way possible: they bumped into each other while walking at Times Square with Amanda spilling coffee on Samuel's shirt. Amanda offered to take Samuel's shirt to the dry cleaners and on their way there, they talked and just clicked. They learned about each other, exchanged numbers, went on dates and soon fell in love. It was a whirlwind romance that resulted to them getting married at the young age of 20 and having a baby girl named Catherine at age 21.

The first ten years of Catherine's life was memorable. It was fun, happy, and full of unbridled laughter. Her father would pick her up after school then her mother would cook dinner for them while her father helped her with her homework. Then they'll eat together eat dinner together before helping her wash up and go to bed with good night kisses. It really was memorable up until her mother landed a job at one of the best law firms in New York City.

At first everything was fine but as weeks passed, things changed drastically. Her mother was rarely home anymore and her father was the only one who's there for her. He was the one who'd cook dinner for them, help her with her home works, teach her detective stuff for fun. To be honest, she didn't mind it. After all, she was happy with just being with her that and that's all that matters.

At age 11, her mother's career really took off while her father's career came crashing down because of a case. This became the heart of every argument in their household whenever her mother was home. Her mother would always start with the question of when will her father get a promotion or when will her father become more successful. Maybe that's why Catherine started hating her mom. She would see her mom arguing with her dad often and sometimes, her mom would throw plates or a vase towards her dad.

Catherine learned about the unofficial divorce when she was 14. Her dad just recently left and went to Haven Peak for a "case" when her mom came home drunk with a man. When naive Catherine started getting upset seeing her mother kissing an unknown man and started questioning them, her mom's only response was a loud laugh before slapping her with the cold, harsh, truth. Her mom told her that they are divorced unofficially since her mom didn't want to tarnish the family's reputation. Her mother also told her that she's in her custody, so that she won't be as stupid and as naive as her dad.

Immediately, Catherine became rebellious in her own little way. She went home late because she spends the entire afternoon practicing her violin (which her mom hates since her mom wants her to learn piano). She also focused on arts instead of biology (since her mom wanted her to become a surgeon in the future). Catherine did every little thing she can do to annoy her mom and soon, it became worth it.

At age 16, her mom had enough. Catherine was then sent to Haven Peak to be with her father. It wasn't easy for Catherine to cope up with her new environment especially since she's new and she didn't know how to properly interact with her dad without being awkward or shy but she managed. It might have taken her quite a bit of time getting used to but she soon got the hang of it,

Now 18 and fully settled in Haven Peak like a local, Catherine cannot wait to start the semester once again and perhaps spend more time with her dad at the police station.

SECRETS​

She got into a relationship with a girl. At first it was to spite her mom but as time went on, she really did care for the girl and fell in love, She then learned that she's bisexual and because she's too scared to admit it to herself, they quickly broke up.

She likes reading fanfiction and usually hides it by printing it out and changing the cover into something classic like "Moby Dick" or "Pride and Prejudice"

She experienced a near death experience when she was a kid. She was sitting inside her dad's police car while her dad was inside a shop buying donuts for them when someone tipped her dad that someone placed a bomb on the car. Long story short, she was almost blown up into bits if it wasn't for her dad asking her to climb out of the window of the car instead of opening the car door.

Catherine used to have a huge crush on Asher because why wouldn't she? He was just so nice to her and talks to her whenever he saw her alone. Catherine felt like Asher understood and accepted her for who she is.

Catherine's father. Ever since the unofficial divorce, losing custody over her favorite daughter, and moving away from New York, he became a little bit lonely. When he received the phone call from his (ex) wife that Catherine was moving in with him, he was beyond ecstatic and hopeful that Catherine will forgive him and that they can go back to the way they used to be. It took him a couple of months before Catherine finally warmed up to him and they've been inseparable ever since.

It was yet another lunch time at Haven Peaks High School and Catherine could already feel her ears ringing from the cacophony of loud chatter as she entered, quickly wincing since almost each table was a cosseted huddle of people raising their voices to be heard above the din. The cafeteria was in mayhem as usual but no matter what, the poor girl can't get used to it. Students were running around while others were throwing food against each other. Her usual plan was to ignore everything and just get in line so she can get her food as soon as possible then leave to find a place where she can eat in peace. Catherine then stood in the queue for her plate of food before biting her tongue at the all too familiar smell of bleach.

There was a rumor that the cafeteria was run by an ex-army cook who loved bleach. Even the aroma of the mediocre food was overpowered by the scent of it. The rumor said that if you tried to lick a plate or a tray it would taste of bleach too. "But at least there's a lot of food and its piping hot" Catherine tried to reason with herself "Besides, I'll eat it at the garden as usual so it wouldn't taste half bad. I mean, it's amazing the effect that smell had on the taste buds..."

Realizing that she was talking to herself like some weirdo and that it was already her turn, Catherine blushed madly out of embarrassment before grabbing her food and getting out of the line. For today's lunch, she had no choice but to eat pepperoni pizza and a leafy salad with canned peaches for dessert. "Not that I'm complaining.."

She was about to leave the cafeteria when she passed by a table full of football players getting rowdy with each other. One thing led to another and poof! As if it was some cruel twist of fate, one of the football players fell out of his seat and crashed into Catherine! The poor girl could feel her food slamming into her chest, her pizza and salad now on her clothes.

"Shit! I am so sorry!" the male apologized but Catherine didn't hear any of it because she was utterly flabbergasted and petrified. Immediately she could hear nothing but silence as she felt all eyes on her. Oh how she wish she can run and hide!

"I really am sorry! Uh, here.." the male then removed his varsity jacket and quickly placed it on Catherine's shoulders in hopes it would cover the stains "You can wear my jacket. I'm really sorry about your shirt and your food. If you want I can buy you lunch. I mean, is there anything you want?"

Finally snapping out of her daze, Catherine took a step back from the male and looked up, almost gasping upon realizing who crashed into her. It was none other than the golden boy known as Asher Lenford! Immediately, Catherine's face went red and without uttering a single word, she ran away from him and fled.

Personality: Nathaniel's personality can come off a bit high strung and snobbish at times. His upbringing has taught him to be a bit cold towards failure; something he learned from his parents. When he's at home, he does his best to be the perfect son and obey his parents in every way, working hard on his education and educating himself on the business side of his father's company. In public or on his own, he's a bit more relaxed and friendly. He has a few friends here and there, and enjoys spending time with them. Secretly, he'd love to have more friends, but his background and attitude he puts off often drives strangers away. Because of this, Nathaniel devotes his time to education and sports. Football is a huge outlet for him. Haven Peak High's star wide receiver, Nate never misses a game. The field is one of the few places he really feels like he can be himself. Even though his parents don't care for his extracurriculars and always try to talk him into doing something "more productive," football is the one thing Nate has all to himself.

History:

Nathaniel was born in China and moved to the United States with his mother when he was four years old. His father, a Chinese businessman had immigrated before Nathaniel was born and had worked extremely hard for his family, building a corporate behemoth known as Yu Industries that made it's fortune off manufacturing and selling high grade medical equipment. The business flourished rapidly, and Nathaniel grew up living a very generous and exorbitant lifestyle.

When Nathaniel was fourteen, his father grew ill and had to have life immediate surgery. The procedure was a success, but it left his father unable to return to his duties as CEO. Because of this, an interim CEO was hired at the company, with the thought being that when Nathaniel was of age, he would take over and lead the company to greater heights. It was the Yu legacy, after all.

However this legacy was not something Nathaniel wanted, so he tried to rebel. However this was shut down immediately, and the young Yu found himself being guilt tripped and forced into taking his father's seat, or risk being dishonored and kicked out of the family. Despite his own feelings, Nathaniel knew how important family was, and could never truly disrespect his parents like that. So he conceded, and began using what free time he had to prepare himself for his future.

When Nat was sixteen, the Yu family doctor's determined the city life and smog was not good for Yu Sr. and so it was decided they would move to a smaller, more quiet town away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. So the family packed their things and moved to Haven Peak, where they currently reside. Enrolled into public school for the first time, Nathaniel didn't know what to think at first. He always felt like he was being watched; like everyone was talking about him behind his back. Unsure of what to do or say, he would often spend his free periods and lunch breaks by the bleachers. It was there that he fell in love with the sport that is football.

The first time Nate played football was when he caught a faulty pass that the wind had taken. Stretching out his arms at the last moment, he had caught the ball firmly between his fingers. At first he was unsure of what to do, so he simply tossed it back to the students that were playing. The person that caught it was Asher. The two talked briefly, and Asher suggested he try out for the team. At the time, Nate figured he was joking. He didn't even fully understand the rules! But as weeks went by and tryouts came close, he found himself yearning to play. Eventually he caved in. After telling his parents he was studying for a test at the library, Nathaniel headed to tryouts. At first, everyone gave him weird looks and scoffed, but by the end of the exercise it was clear. The young Asian kid could catch anything thrown his way. The next thing he knew, he had secured a spot as a receiver on the football team. That was the start of his time at Haven Peak, but it was only the beginning.

Secrets: Nathaniel secretly wants to play professional football, but he knows his parents would never allow it. As such, he thinks about running away every single day, but the guilt that would bring weighs on him constantly and anchors him to the company and his controlling parents.

Relationship with Asher: Nathaniel and Asher got along quite well. He was the first real friend Nat ever had. They chemistry on the field was remarkable, and the two were good friends, whether they were scoring touchdowns on the field or just having a realistic talk about life.

Nathaniel nodded silently. "I'm glad to be here. Wh-where do I go?" he asked, unsure of what to do.

"Just stand over there by the cones. That's where the drills will start. One of the first ones is a catching exercise. If you catch those passes like the one I saw you catch before, you'll be just fine. Good luck man." Asher walked off, heading towards the rest of the team.

"Um..yeah. Thanks." Nate mumbled. Well here goes, he thought to himself, walking over towards the cones. Let's show them what I've got.

It wasn't hard to tell that Theo is an adopted child. For one, he looked nothing like his parents. He had brown hair while his parents both had blonde hair, his had dark brown--almost black--eyes while his father had cornflower blue and his mother had emerald green. Then there was his height. Theo had always been quite a tall boy, something both his father and brother notably were not. Now at the age of eighteen, he stands at 6', a few inches taller than his father and brother. Time spent playing football with the Thunder Dogs has helped him stayed fit, but not bulky.

Studious, polite, conservative--basically the child every parent dreams of having. He very rarely disobeys his parents and does everything he can to make them happy. For Theo, as long as his parents are happy, then he's happy. From what he's observed, his parents are seems to correlate with his achievements. They are happiest when he does something for them to be proud of. Unfortunately for him, his parents weren't exactly easy people to please. They were strict and had very standards for him. While Theo claims that his parent' strictness is what pushes him to do his best, he also can't help but feel frustration at how unreasonable they could be at times.

In reality however, Theo isn't as perfect as people make him out to be--far from it actually. One of his major flaws was his ego. Theo isn't used to being wrong and often thinks his idea is best. A lot of times this can be true, but not always. Just like his parents, he can be quite narrow minded. It's uncommon for him to fail to see things from a different angle. The quote, "the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree," applies to him quite well, even though they're not his biological parents. Apart from that, he is also quite judgmental. He is quick to judge and quick to assume things about a person. "To see is to believe," is what he would say. Unless there was evidence to prove otherwise, Theo will continue to view a person with the brand that society has placed upon them. Needless to say, he is one to stereotype people.

Skateboarding - He may not look like it, but Theo knows a trick or two on the board. It was something he learned from his brother, Tristan. Ever since Tristan left home however, Theo hasn't touched a skateboard much less ride one. He simply didn't have the time with him working hard to be an achiever.

Cooking - Theo picked up the hobby during the two weeks their parents left them at home to visit their mom's relatives. Tristan was an awful cook, something that he was strangely proud of. Sick of eating his brother's cooking, Theo went ahead and began to learn how to cook. He wasn't the best at it, but it was significantly better than what his brother could make. It was then that he learned how enjoyable cooking could be and continued on with it as a hobby.

history

To say that Theo grew up under a household with strict upbringing was an understatement. His parents, Christopher Caine Wolfe and Tara Wolfe, had always been strict even from before he came into the picture. Tristan Wolfe, his older brother, knew this very well.

Theo was six years old when he was adopted into the Wolfe family. It was roughly around the same time that Tristan entered high school. Theo may have not been a Wolfe by blood, but he was by name and as such Christian and Tara didn't spare him from their strictness. Afraid that they'll toss him back into the orphanage, Theo did everything he could to garner their acceptance. He did his best to become like their 'perfect' son Tristan. But he knew, he was never going to become like him. No matter what he did, Theo never received their parent's praises. For a kid who was merely in grade school, it felt like a huge rejection. That didn't stop him though.

Four years later, just as Tristan was beginning to prepare for college, he finally snapped. The pressure and expectations set by Christian and Tara became too much for him. And so, Tristan rebelled. Ten year old Theo couldn't do anything but watch as Tristan was almost disowned by their parents. The son that Christian and Tara were so proud of was gone. They tried to 'fix' him by keeping him on house lock down. He was to go to school and go home immediately. But Tristan didn't obey. He threatened to leave home. Theo thought that was it, Tristan won. He was happy for his older brother and a part of him felt inspired by him. Ten year old Theo contemplated on slacking off a bit (as compared to before) with his studies to give him time for hobbies he wished to pursue.

How foolish of him to think of that. While the couple were in shock at their only blood related son's outburst, they were ruthless and called his bluff. They were daring Tristan to leave. Theo couldn't understand why they would do that. Did they not love him? Or were they that too prideful? Confused, scared and in shock; Theo could do nothing but watch it all unfold. His brother left that night when everyone was fast asleep. Tristan left without saying another word to any of them. Since then the spotlight has moved onto their only son left, Theo. The pressure that was once cast upon Tristan was transferred onto him.

He picked up the sport half out of expectation from his parents, and half because he needed a new hobby to keep his body moving. Skateboarding was out of the option ever since Tristan left. There was the lack of time as well as the fear of getting caught that he didn't have as much when he used to sneak out with Tristan. It killed two birds with one stone and in the end, he found that the sport to be enjoyable enough.

Out of all the animals in the world, Theo's favourite would have to be rabbits. He just has a soft spot for the adorable 'ball of fluff' as he so eloquently likes to refer to them. Theo always wanted a pet rabbit, but since his older brother had already gotten a dog even before he came into the picture, his parents no longer felt the need to give Theo a pet of his own. One pet in the household was all they said each time he asked for one. When Tristan left home, he also left his dog, named Hound, behind. There really wasn't much of an option for the brunette. Theo certainly didn't want to leave Hound off at the pound, that would just be cold of him to do. So, instead he took care of Hound and treated him as his own pet.

Theo is ambidextrous, not that he always was. One day he just decided he wanted to be able to write with his right hand as well as his left so he trained himself to write with his right. Though his he could write quite legibly with his right, his left-hand handwriting still looked neater and better. Despite being left-handed, Theo likes to use his right hand. For one, it was more convenient as most objects were designed for right-handed people and hardly have any left-handed counterparts.

"What am I looking at here, Lenford?" This was Theo's near instant reaction the moment his friend entered Pop's and settled into the seat across from him. In Asher's hand was a bouquet, but it wasn't any regular bouquet, its contents seemed to be--

"Cotton candy," his friend said in answer to his earlier question. Then, without the need to ask any further, he continued, "It's for a girl. I heard she likes cotton candy."

"I sure hope she does, that is quite a lot after all." Theo took a sip of his tea. He already figured that would be his friend's answer--unless he suddenly decided he wanted diabetes that is. "So, who's the lucky girl?" he asked, curious to know who would be getting a sugar rush courtesy of the town's golden boy.

Asher reached over to his side of the table, snatching away a fry out of Theo's basket. "Not telling," he answered in a singsong voice before chucking the fry straight into his mouth.

The two of them sat there chatting for a few minutes longer, till it was finally time for Asher to leave and meet up with the cotton candy bouquet's recipient. Theo never did get the girl's name out of him that day, not that it bothered him. He knew that he'll find out who it was eventually, it was hard for someone like Asher to keep a secret for long in a town like Haven Peak.
