- Fantasy and Sci-Fi are my two major favorites. However, I tend to be quite the picky player. I prefer an RP with a great deal of development...the world, the lore, everything. And for those GMs looking for help with lore, I love to world build!
Based on what is out right now, dragons and riders are even. Females outnumber males by two.
If we add in the reserved slots, we add two more male dragons and one more female rider based on information in the OOC.
Total is 7 dragons, 6 riders....6 males, 7 females. Whether the genders of the dragons match up to rider genders, I'm unsure.

The Starbow: A strange bow that seems to be made of crystal and decorated with chips of diamond and small glittering rocks that seem to shine like stars
Blade of The Void: A longsword who's blade appears to be nothing more than a gateway directly in to the deepest of voids, the heart of deep space, It emits a bone chilling cold when unsheathed and consumes all life. Those struck down with the blade are consumed utterly devoured by the void beyond the blade nothing is left behind but the victims clothes and equipment.

Calmir has two personalities, Or more exactly, he has two half's of his soul that are constantly at war, both halfs are all at once 'human' and 'dragon' They are simply born of his upbringing and his circumstances. While his 'light' half is in control, or at-least dominant he is warm, charming and compassionate, He is always willing to help and without a doubt going to never refuse any offer he see's as without ulterior motive. However when his darker half is dominant he is Nihilistic, brash, and a rather unpleasant person. There is no way to tell the difference except for the way he acts. His light side prefers to use The Starbow, while his Dark half uses his Blade of The Void. it is the rare time when he faces a foe he knows could kill him that these two half's reconcile themselves to work together.
✮History✮
Calmir was born to a strange peoples, a race of humans who lived atop high cliffs and cities perched between mountain peaks. While they had normal transport, all who were born there developed wings, not dragon wings, but large feathered one's, almost like angel's. However, non had any magical abilities. Calmir was different, his dragon-soul opened up a wellspring of power that he never even knew existed, nor did any of those like him understand. They welcomed him as a change to the better, a future that would be better for them all. His powers flourished, raw and unchecked however directed with good intent. His abilities lit the dark places in their small world, healed the injured and made well those who were sick. Then something went wrong. Creatures started to attack the towns and cities of his people, obliterating them one by one. Calmir could do nothing, his powers used for so long to heal and aid had become stuck in that way. This all changed however when his home city was cut from the rock it was anchored to, set aflame and thrown down the cliff-side with his city something inside Calmir broke. Unleashing a tidal wave of dark energy, for there cannot be light without the dark, health without illness, Life without death. Half of his soul turned black as night as he oblitorated all around him, flames burning his flesh as he did so. Finally regaining control he saw what he had done and left, fearing what he had become. He had known for a long time that he had a Dragon Soul, but he finally understood what sort of dragon soul he had. A dragon that both had light and dark, Like the night sky it was filled with light and beauty, but it also held a great amount of darkness and nothingness. a dragon of the Void and Starlight.

Light:
Healing Glow: He can Heal others with a simple pass of his hand when he concentrates, this is possibly his strongest, and weakest healing skill, it requires direct contact but can mend broken bones in seconds.
Healing Lance: A beam of gold-white light that heals the target, this healing is weaker than healing glow due to its inability to heal major wounds in near instant time.
Candle: Calmir creates a glowing light equal to a candle that hovers in place indefinatly.
Torch: See candle but brighter.
SunBurst: Calmir creates a 40 foot radius sphere around himself of pure sunlight.
Dark:
Corruption: He infects the target with a festering Necrotic corruption that eats away at their flesh, this is however only touch range
Black Spear: A spear of dark energy ment to impale foes and rend at their flesh.
Extinguish: This spell extinguishes all light in the area.
Dark Rebuke: He lashes out with all his fury and anger at the target, dealing more damage the more annoyed and harmed he is.
Both:
Shadow Vision: Calmir can see in the dark as if it were midday.
Void-Flight: Calmir can exist in the void of space, or underwater with no adverse effects.
Combined Might: In the most Extreme Conditions (Life or Death Situations) Calmir's two halfs can reconsile themselves and work together, in this case BOTH sets of powers can be used.

Courageous~ Cassie doesn't back down from anything, she is always the first to take up arms and go after what is right. If she feels fear she looks it in the eye and tells it to go screw itself, because she will win
Competitive~ No matter what it is, Cassie always tries to be the best, especially in sword fighting. She needs completion to push herself to become better, and if she fails to be better, then keeps trying until she is.
Sarcastic~ Cassie uses Sarcasm to break the ice and keep things funny and lighthearted. It is very rare if she uses Sarcasm as a weapon to hurt others, but if you are on the other side, she doesn't hold back with her insults.
Welcoming ~ Cassie tends to take the new kids under her wings, and doesn't judge others. She hates leaving others out, and tries to include everyone, and if they are alone, she will go to their side.
Childlike~ Cassie acts like a child and very seldom does she actually seems to be her age. She tends to use this to her advantage when pulling off pranks or when she is getting out of trouble.
Curious~ Cassie is very curious, and that tends to put her in dangerous situations. Cassie can't help it however, when something intrigues her, she doesn't let it go until she is satisfied with her answers.
Hot-heated~ It doesn't take long for her to lose her temper and explode at people. Although her anger is quick to come, it takes her a bit of time to forgive and forget, choosing to remain stubborn rather than reasonable.
Loyal~ Once you have earned her loyalty, she will always stand up for you, and the ones who cannot defend themselves.
Bubbly~ Cassie is very easy going and a generally nice person, it is very rare to see her sad or anything less than happy.
Mischievous~ If you ever catch the gleam in Cassie's eyes, run, because odds are you are involved in her next prank, and almost 10 times out of 10, you will be taking the fall.

Grew up in the surrounding countryside near Haven Academy, and always wished she could go to the school. Cassie was around 8 when she discovered that she was a Dragon, her older brother was being beaten by some older kids and she transformed somehow to protect him.
Her parents were slightly afraid for their daughter because of the witch hunt to find any and all dragons. So in fear they contacted the school, and handed her over to the school so they could try and train her. At this point Cassie felt abandoned and alone, and refused to veen see her parents when they tried to visit her. Eventually her older brother came to the school and talked her into visiting them.
From that point on, Cassie made sure to see her family at least once every two weeks, sometimes more if she has the time. She hasn't officially been enrolled in Haven, since she was under aged, but it didn't stop her from looking in on certain classes.

~ Flame Manipulation- Depending on the colour of the flames she can emit, Cassie can do certain abilities, so far she is only able to control her blue and white flames ontop of her regular red.
~ Fire Immunity- Because Cassie is a dragon, she does have a certain resistance to fire, however in her case, because she is a fire dragon both heat and the flames themselves are useless against her.
~ Ash Breath- Cassie can manipulate her flames into becoming ash for a quick and easy getaway. This requires her to eat something in her dragon form and waiting for it to burn down into ash.
~High-speed Flight- Her natural abilities of speed, seem to double that as a dragon, and it seems to also make her faster than the normal dragons.

I am so sorry for not responding sooner to you! Life can become beyond chaotic at times. I have fixed and adjusted all the numbers for open slots. Oh, that would be wonderful, indeed! I would like to make a male dragon, but that's not set in stone just yet. First, I'll go over established characters to find an archetype that hasn't already been done...and since the dragon has a humanoid shape, I'll need to get a feel for what would better flow through my fingers.

I was planning on getting at least my rider done tonight. They'll both be done this weekend for sure though. I'm gonna try and do them as quickly as possible without decreasing the quality.
Edit: Had other things to do, didn't have to time to create my characters tonight. Will be finished by the end of the weekend, though. Sorry!
