[Felilla]

The town of Haven is a small one situated in eastern New York, about 40 miles from New York City. It is a relatively close-knit town with the biggest store being the grocery store on Main owned by one of the families. There is also a McDonald's, a Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut, and a Wendy's among the family-owned restaurants. There is a elementary school, middle school, and high-school. The largest is the high-school which has a student population of 649. The daycare also serves as a preschool.

This is the story of those that live and grow in Haven whether they be children, teenagers, or adults. Some are just beginning their lives, others are trying to piece them together. Families come together and break apart. Romance blossoms in the best and the worst places.

~ No godmodding, etc... Every character should have their weaknesses as well as their strengths.
~ If you have an issue with drug and alcohol usage, social issues, different orientations, or anything of that sort, feel free to live now. On that note, steamy stuff has to fade to black and go to PM. I don't want none of that. I don't care if it's mentioned, just don't go beyond that. Please respect other people's boundaries as well.
~ Every character has an important role, so don't worry about your character not being important.
~ Reserve occupations in the Overview. It is first come first serve.
~ Please be literate.
~ Romance is encouraged, but it should not be the focal point for all relationships.
~ Originality is very much appreciated. Tell me your favorite color in your CS.

First off, you should never call this guy Aladdin unless you want him to get mad at you or unless he is actually dressed up as Aladdin (which he hasn't done in about ten years). His name, according to him, is Al... or at least that is what he tells people. Al doesn't understand why his culture is so important to his parents, he lives by his own rules and his own ways... which is also why he didn't give his son a 'traditional' name. Aladdin is quite a bit rebellious and works for what he wants. He is a complete risk taker and probably always will be. He can be quite a player and a bit of a jerk if he doesn't get his way.}

{Born on April 30th in Cairo, Egypt just before the family moved, Aladdin is technically born and raised with middle eastern culture and values surrounding him. However, to his parents dismay, Al never felt like that was the right path for him. From a young age he did what he wanted... of course, being an only child helps with that. After moving to the states by the time he was three, Al has never looked back. He has only introduced himself as Aladdin when he dressed up as the former street rat for Halloween and a few costume parties on occasion. Basically, he led a fairly normal life: boy doing the exact opposite as what his parents and grand parents want. Six years ago, technically almost seven since the mother was only abouth three months along at the time, Aladdin had been dating a half-egyptian (for his parents), half-japanese girl (whilst having fun with a few other girls every so often) who he ended up knocking up... no surprise there. One of the things he was in agreement with his parents about was that life was life, you can create it, but you aren't the one who gets to destroy it. He talked his girlfriend out of abortion, but he couldn't seem to talk her out of adoption as easily. Once his son was born it was a little easier, they had decided they would split after the birth: Al keeping the baby, his girlfriend being a teenager again. All of that would have been great, the custody papers were in order and everything, but not the death certificate. At the hospital his girlfriend was sent into a very severe allergic reaction after receiving pain medication. She also ended up with pregnancy complications and by the time the baby was born she was too far gone to be saved. He had her name tattooed on his chest as a reminder. After Diesel was born his parent's basically raised the baby until Aladdin was finished with school. Since graduating he has taken full responsibility of his son.}

Eli is a little gentleman. He's the type of kid to hold the door (or at least try to) for a woman and when eating in restaurants, he pulls chairs out for female company. There was a time when he did this for everyone, but his father instilled it in his head in abusive methods, that men don't do that for other men. But occasionally, Eli will forget these teaching and do so for the elderly no matter what gender, or even the few male friends he has. Eli is a sweet boy and he loves to learn new things. He's quite the charmer, but as most kids do, he can sometimes be selfish and adamant on his own ideas or desires. He hates to roughhouse and prefers more leisurely activities such as cooking, putting on plays or playing pretend.
