Lewi & Winterwings

Suddenly giant gates went up on all sides made of steel and metal plates closed over the clearing as lights in them came on encasing them in this area.
 
"What the..." he muttered to himself, looking at the gates as they went up on the sides. "What is this?" he asked.
 
"I don't know..." Kieara said instinctively moving closer to him, she was scared. A loud speaker came on. "attention all students, you've been called here for a reason, one of you, is not like the rest here."
 
For a second, Nathan felt as if he was made of ice. Was this for real? Really, serious? It couldn't be. "This is some stupid joke, come on", he said to Kieara, looking for a way out, but couldn't see any. He bit his lip, having no idea what to do.
 
Kieara followed. "it has to be....right?" She was nervous too thinking they knew about her father and were going to do something to her.
 
Nathan nodded. "We have to get out of here", he said.
 
"Stupid hell..." he muttered, annoyed. He began kicking one of the gates, hoping that it would open up.
 
It wasn't long before some men came into the area armed tot he teeth and began taking people one at a time.
 
"What is going on?!" Nathan said, looking at them.
 
He sighed and sat down. "Seriously. What is this? Some kind of joke?" he said to Kieara.
 
Nathan looked at all the others who got taken away by the men, one by one. They all looked confused. He thought about what had been said earlier. One of you, is not like the rest here.It scared him. He wanted to get out of there, to leave.
 
Kieara was scared too. Soon it came down to them. One by one the kids were taken in, interrogated or whatever it was they were doing, then allowed to leave. They walked out the door the men took them through and away from the fence back towards school. The free ones could be seen from inside the fence. They took Kieara first and took some of her blood and tested it. It was a few minutes then a guy came to NAthan. "We found the one we're looking for, you can leave." the walls went down, but Kieara never left.
 
"What, wait..." he began, but stopped. He was confused, why had they taken Kieara? "What's up with her, why did you take her? What are you gonna do with her? She's my friend, you can't just take her away like that!" he said to the guy.
 
"This is none of your concern. Leave the premisis please." He said to him as he pointed the direction out of the forest.
 
Nathan sighed and walked away. Maybe the teacher knew something.
 
It wasn't long before Kieara was hauled out of the building behind him in cuffs and they headed off back to town with her as well. They wanted info on her father.
 
Nathan looked at them. Was there nothing he could do? If no one was around, of course, he could... well, he was pretty strong, and he had an idea. They had to be alone though - he didn't want the whole school to know about what he was.
