[Lantern]

Rosa got dressed the following morning. She goes downstairs and looks through the cupboards to find emptiness. She decided to head out to the gorcery store that day to get some food for herself. Her boyfriend had recently left her, and she was finding it hard by herself, especially with a baby on the way. Ever since the two split up, she had hidden her pregnancy from him. She was afriad of what he would think. Looking after kids was really tough, let alone his girlfriend who needed looking after too. It would be toughER. It was getting harder to hide, with her bump getting bigger.

She began to wander over to the supermarket, perhaps her boyfriend wouldn't be there today.

 

[Sandra]

Blake was at the supermarket. Uh oh. He was getting some milk, vegetables and some fruit and other stuff. His hoodie was over his head, and one earbud was in his ear. He was listening to some music, not really paying attention around him. He'd occasionally look up, but this time he almost dropped whatever the hell he was holding. It was Rosa.

Rosa....

He thought. Tears swelled up at his eyes and shook his head and closed his eyes shut.

It's not her. Stop it..

He'd take a deep shaky breath and continue picking out some fruits, while looking down. his long black bangs hanging a bit.

Rosa turns away, as she noticed Blake in the store, too. She tried to not look at him, maybe he would think she was someone else. She lightly hid her protruding bump and went off to go and pay. She shortly leaves the store, but couldn't help but look at him, she didn't say anything. They hadn't said anything to each other in weeks after their breakup. She quickly wanders away, hoping he wouldn't say anything to her.

Blake, looked up again a few times after that. Risking it. He did miss her. He then saw Rosa leaving. He was just done shopping as well, and was going to leave soon. She leaves the store, and he just couldn't let her go. Blake quickly ran, out the door, and just hugged her. He stood like that for a while, with her in his arms.

Rosa.. Rosa..

His mind echoed her name. Blake felt warm and fuzzy. Again. Like when he first met Rosa. Blake almost start crying, and he couldn't stop looking at her, he'd slightly get out if the hug and look at her. His face would of told her, that he was sorry.

Rosa blushes and then looks up at him, smiling weakly. After weeks of not talking she actually felt happy to be in his arms. She returned the hug after a few seconds. She places a hand onto his cheek and smiles softly at him. She took out her whiteboard and then wrote on it.

'Hey' She wrote, softly.
