Why are you in the Art Gallery? | Scoping the scene for a heist.

What is the one item that was brought with you? | A simplistic pocket-watch.

Likes
  • Crab cakes, something about the sweet taste gets his mouth watering at the mere sight. Better than steak or burgers. :D'''
  • High Society parties, best place to be at when you need both entertainment and to make a quick buck.
  • Femme fatales, not much can compare to a dangerously beautiful woman intent on having her way with everyone in the room.

Dislikes
  • Violence, never needed it, never wants to resort to it.
  • Junk food, the fast food joint one. He'd much rather pick something up from a food stand.
  • Complainers, if you got time to whine then you got time to plan your next move.

Hobbies
  • Wine tasting, though far from a sommelier he enjoys trying out new wines.
  • Painting, when all you do is steal painting it is only natural you start to try and paint your own.
  • Card tricks, they're a great way to practice sleight of hand and entertain the crowd when the mood goes stale.

Fears
  • Isolation, being alone with no one and nothing around and no way out.
  • Tight closed and dark spaces, gets borderline panic attacks in claustrophobic spaces, especially if there's no one around to help.
  • Blood and gore, ever the movies makes him uncomfortable and nauseous .

Personality
[spacer]Sebastian is easily mistaken for a snobby rich brat that drifts from one high end party to the next spreading gossip and being all around a general flirt with the ladies. Yet he does these things on purpose fully understanding the type of image it forms. In fact he wants people to think he is a small minded individual there to do nothing even bordering on intelligent all the while sizing people up and finding the best mark. He's a cocky individual always pretending he knows more than he lets on all the while getting people to trust him and let slip one vital piece of information that he can use. He's a bit ruthless when it comes to other people's problems. 'Either deal with it or stop bothering me.' He often says. If you cannot think of a way to solve your own problem he won't do it for you, but he will offer a hand if you ask nicely and offer something in return, especially if you prove you CAN think for yourself. A small exception might be a particularly beautiful lady.[/spacer]

Biography
[spacer]Once a normal teen growing up in the outskirts of London and taking regular vacations to France to visit his cousins, Sebastian had a fair and laid back childhood. Never wanting for anything in particular he was surrounded by friends, supporting family members and lovely girls. Normally that would be the life for some, but Sebastian was miserable. Everything was so... Boring, uneventful, stale. He grasped at whatever sense of excitement he could through minor shoplifting and pickpocketing. Started out small and easy then worked up to some actual talent. He was caught a number of times, but each and every one he came back twice as clever. When he was 18, during a family trip to Paris, he ended up lifting a rather fancy pocket watch right underneath the salesman's nose. Though not without avoid the careful eye of another customer.[/spacer]

[spacer]Thus began the second act of his life, the act where he ran away from home with another young burglar and had the time of his life. Young and foolish, and terribly charmed by a beautiful lady he abandoned his boring past in search of excitement he knew not how to replicate without breaking the law. They stole what they needed and cared little for consequences, but they weren't smart. The consequences kept pilling on and kept nipping at their heels. Unbeknownst to the other each of them had contingency plans in place in case they ever got arrested. The only problem was that Sebastian had thought a step ahead and sold out his partner earlier than expected, the confusion was enough for him to slip away, but not without leaving her a means to escape. He remained unseen, off the record and almost invisible. Occasionally they would get terribly close to him but somehow he kept dodging them mostly through nothing but luck. Cocky and relentless he keeps going after more and more troublesome thefts.[/spacer]

Full Name: Marietta Nicoliya Dulviar-Kiepersol-Rosewood

To keep introductions to new friends short and sweet, she just uses her mother's maiden name of Rosewood, rather than her father's family name of Dulviar or her father's mother's maiden name of Kiepersol. It's a bit confusing, but due to the connection of family wineries these names are historically attached to, it's best for Marietta to hold them all – since she's the only one destined to gain the entirety of the estates.

Nickname: Marrose / The Wine Princess / Libellula

Marrose is a little moniker that her close friends have dotted on her to avoid pronouncing her first name, Marietta. She prefers it - makes her sound stronger and less... petite...

The Wine Princess - Forbes 500 marked her as such, and that's what the world has become to know her as.

Libellula (Dragonfly) – her adored rabbit name given to her by her Italian grandfather, Horacio Nicola Dulviar. He was the one honored by naming his only grandchild.

Personality

Marrose's personality is one that is of extremes: When she is feeling like herself, and everything is going her way, she has an extremely sweet and silly disposition; very kind and friendly. However, when her asthma drains her into a poor state of mind, Marietta is best described as insensitive, distant, dejected, and suicidal. Her strong asthmatic and panic attacks frustrates her, making a very athletic and determined young lady slow and flustered at herself. Nevertheless, she is a work-o-holic and a fiercely loyal friend.

She can be rather stubborn at times, hard-headed, and strong willed to keep things her way if the other way seems far too uncomfortable or just downright uncalled for. Due to how she's had to manage her life without a proper set of parents, Marrose has drilled herself to effectively and efficiently be independent. Keeping her life in control is somewhat necessary due to her health, but it also makes her feel secure in her believe that she will not mature into a disgrace to her grandmother and tarnish her grandfather's good name.

Biography

In her early years, Marietta was constantly in the hospital due to her ill health. Premature at birth with poor lungs, Marrose always struggled to stay afloat just to take her next breath. It didn't make simplicity easy for her. School, friends, hanging out, dance, swimming... all of her joys became a life or death situation if something triggered a serious attack; sometimes her inhaler just wasn't enough. This did not stop her from trying new things, and succeeding in a few of them, but it made the basic challenges of life difficult.

Always carries an inhaler, but she has learned to control her breathing to a point with Tai Chi breathing techniques. Still, if she becomes too nerved and falls into a panic, her attacks will be harder to control and cause her to pass out. These forms of serious attacks can leave her lethargic or unconscious for hours. Usually, for seriously long travels, her mother and grandparents insist that she carries a small oxygen pack, extra inhalers, smelling salts, and emergency injectors filled with high dosages of her medication that rapidly opens her passageways.

Marietta had missed out on experiencing a stable family life. Her father, Kaspesin Dulviar-Kiepersol, was the CEO of the Dulviar-Kiepersol Wineries. The Kiepersol Wineries of the US, a company of his making, is located originally in Rochester, New York. But now, they span clear across the United States. He's the son of Horacio & Locendia Dulviar, owners of the infamous Dulviar Chianti, Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon wines of Tuscany, Italy. They still reside in the historical "Abbey of the Good Harvest" (Badia a Coltibuono) in Tuscany where the Vallombrosan monk, Bro. Emanuelo Esposito, entered the monastery in the 11th century and took over the care of the holy wines.

Marietta's mother, Marnella Rosewood, was a former dancer at the Boston Ballet. Her career ended suddenly due to a very serious injury that forced her to leave dance for life. She obtained a job as a designer for Sweeney Designs in Chicago, IL; an advertising and marketing firm that happened to work for the Kiepersol Wineries. She was eventually promoted into an entry level ad designer position, and her first project was assisting the design team for Kiepersol Wineries; where she met Kaspesin. After several years of dating, and soon engagement, they changed the face of the wine industry forever by creating The Kiepersol-Rosewood line; turning heads and soaring higher in the American winery markets.

Kaspesin and Marnella's marriage was not favored by his parents. Regardless, the two married without their blessings, but far too soon they felt they were not compatible and separated after Marietta was born. Marietta has never met her father; only heard of his name and seen older pictures of him on the internet. Because of her birth, her grandparents made amends with Marnella, for she is now the mother of their only grandchild - the new heir to their historical and ancient family company.

Marietta grew up between the U.S. and Italy, holding dual citizenship. This all for her grandfather's quest in teaching his grandchild everything about the company before his passing. His son had not become the man he'd hoped he would. Therefore, to avoid watching all his lifelong hard work fall to greed and stupidity, he'd molded Marietta and kept her safe.
Before Mariette was about to start college, her mother talked her into living in Italy and starting college there. Reluctant at first, she decided to do it, learning that the whole reason for the sudden need for her to move was that her grandfather was dying...and her father was out to murder her in order to gain the inheritance he believed he deserves.

Now, after college in Italy and learning the art of wine making, business management and marketing, Marrose had returned to take over Kipersol-Rosewood with her mother by her side, preparing for her debut and openings of several new offices and warehouses across the nation. Her grandmother manages the Dulviar Italy half of the company - keeping things up and running until Marrose's return.

Full Name: Serena Valle

Nickname: Serena

Age: 21

Gender: Female

Rose Colour: Purple

Why are you in the Art Gallery? Visiting to admire the art.

What is the one item that was brought with you? A custom pencil with a handmade design.

Likes
Art - As an artist herself, Serena is drawn to works of art, specially paintings. She likes to admire other people's works and drawn inspiration from them.

Horror - One of her favourite genres. Serena is not a big fan of movies, to her it's a waste of time that could be better spent painting, but she cannot resist a good horror film.

Cute Things - Probably one of the most contradicting things that people find about her is her penchant for cute things. Her personality is a far cry from what people would expect from a girl with a pastel pink angel wing backpack and rainbow pins.

Dislikes
Minimalist Art - Serena doesn't quite understand how something with barely anything there could be called art. While she may not understand it, she still accepts it as a form of art... just not one that she fancies.

Gambling - High risk, high reward? Bullshit, she says. Serena doesn't believe that gambling can go anyone good. As someone who comes from a family with financial struggles, Serena loathes those throw their money around like it's nothing, and to her gambling is just that.

Ungrateful People - People who take for granted what they have are ones that she hates the most. It only peeves her off more if she knows the person comes from wealth.

Hobbies
Painting & Sketching - Serena is an artist herself. Most of her free time is spent painting away in her small apartment.

Sculpting - While sculptures aren't her speciality, she does dabble in sculpting every now and then. Most of her works are moulded from clay.

Meditating - When inspiration is low and stress is high, she turns to meditation to help clear her mind.

Fears
Blindness - What she fears most is not being able to see in general, it's not being able to see artworks specifically.

Darkness - Related to her fear of blindness. Darkness takes away her ability to see, triggering her other fear and thereby becoming something she fears as well.

Inability to Create Art - Art has become her life. She fears a day that she may never be able to pick up a paintbrush or even a pencil to draw with.

Personality
As an artist, all Serena wants to do is to be with her art. It is in her studio apartment that she creates the most intriguing pieces of art. Canvases can be found all over the place, as well as the occasional sculpture here and there. It reeked of oil but she could care less. Her room was her safe haven. Due to this, Serena comes off as a social recluse—a hermit—in the eyes of her peers. The fact that she doesn't talk to anyone at all, except when needed, just added more fuel to the fire. Serena couldn't deny it though, she knew herself that she was no social butterfly.

She's a very creative person; she's an artist after all. Serena's imagination is normally like a person on steroids, it is restless and full of energy. Images would come to her at random times of the day, even as she slept. Night-time is the peek of her creativity which has lead to many sleepless nights and a very messed up body clock. Of course, like any artist, Serena also experiences days when the nothing would come to her. When this happens she turns to meditation or finds inspiration elsewhere.

Serena is also quite the spontaneous person. Just when you thought you have her all figured out, she'd surprise you by doing something you'd least expect her to do. What she feels like doing, she would do. Serena didn't have to explain herself to anyone. This spontaneity of hers makes it hard for people to try and predict what exactly she would do or say next. Unfortunately, it's also this spontaneity of hers that others have marked her for as a weirdo.

Biography
Growing up, Serena never had the best childhood. Her mother died giving birth to her, while her father left her with her grandma, unable to see her as nothing more than a reminder of his wife's death.

Her father never visited, even after years had passed. He didn't completely abandon his daughter and still sent money every now and then. However, as more time passed, the money eventually started to become lesser and lesser. At some point Serena's grandmother began getting loans just to support the growing child. Serena was completely oblivious to it, of course. After all, she was still just a child.

When Serena began going to school, she got introduced to the marvellous and glorious thing called the crayon (and paper). It was then that her fascination for art started. Serena began pouring all her time into creating crayon drawings. When the other kids approached her and invited her to play, Serena rejected them saying that she'd rather stay inside and draw rather than go out and play with them. The other kids saw art as school work and didn't understand why she'd rather stay in and do school work. They started calling her weird but Serena didn't care.

As she grew up, Serena learned about different mediums of art and one of them captured her interest the most, painting. Serena wanted to try and experience it for herself, but when she saw the price of the supplies she needed, she turned back disappointed. The young girl knew that they could never afford it—she learned about their financial situation as she grew older.

Her grandma, ever the wise old lady, knew about her budding interest in painting. On her birthday, she surprised her by giving her a watercolour set, a bunch of watercolour paper. It was no paint and canvas, but it was certainly an upgrade from her crayons. Serena was thrilled nevertheless. Immediately she tried her hand at it.Seeing the joy in Serena's face brought joy to her own, thus her grandmother began to allot a budget for Serena's art supplies.

Serena quickly grew as an artist. She began selling her watercolour creations on the street for a some amount of money. It wasn't a lot, but she couldn't complain, she was merely a kid after all. It amazed her how people were willing to buy her creations. While most of the money was given to her grandmother to help pay for their needs and loans they've incurred, Serena managed to save some. The money she save she used to buy an upgrade to her supplies: paint and canvas. Almost instantly, Serena felt more attuned to the new medium and slowly shifted focus towards it. It was harder to earn money through her paintings, but the payout was definitely more than with her watercolour creations.

She finished high school riding on an art scholarship and has managed to acquire a similar scholarship for university. Serena is currently a university student working towards an art degree.
