Anastasia is a sarcastic, outgoing, flirty girl. She finds art, music and literature intriguing. Her brain is often underestimated due to her always acting before thinking. She is somewhat fearless and likes to take risks, often being found involved in dangerous/troublesome scenes. Hence she is characterized as a delinquent. Anastasia is fiercely independent and hates being told what to do, always preferring telling other people what to do. She has a somewhat apathetic nature due to the harshness in her past and can become easily angered. Thought she does have a kind heart and loves to joke around. She is not the quiet/shy type of girl. Anastasia is very protective of the people and things she loves. She can be very perfectionist at times. While she can be outgoing and talkative, she is a good at masking truths and emotions for protection. Her 'shield' is often to shut down and hide her emotions with a layer of malice or sarcasm. She is picky with whom to trust with the self she buries deep inside. While she can be seen as a very analytical and perceptive person, she is oblivious to the emotions of others and is bad at handling emotions herself.
Background:
Anastasia was seven years old when the accident took her parents. She had taken her mother's wooden matryoshkan dolls into her bedroom when there was a blackout so she could play and not feel alone. She was scared of the dark so her parents had brought two candles and placed them on the floor. She sat down and set the dolls on the floor. While Anastasia was setting them up, she had clumsily elbowed one and it rolled down until it stopped below her bed. Anastasia grabbed one of her candles and placed it under her bed as she scooted down to find the missing doll. She left the candle bellow her wooden bed and grabbed the doll. She scooted back to the surface with the doll and started playing with them, forgetting about the candle she left below her bed. It was too late when she noticed what she had done. Her father barged into her room "чтопроисходит?" (What is going on?) he had asked her but cut her off with a curse when he saw the bed on fire. He grabbed her as the room filled itself with smoke and ran with her out the door while she still clutched her mother's wooden doll. Her father left her outside and went back inside for her mother. But neither of them came out.Appearance:

Background:
Anastasia was then taken in to her paternal uncle's, Vladimir, care in Siberia. They had always been close since Vladimir always went to visit her family back in Russia. He had no wife or children himself and he had always called her his favorite girl. Anastasia's uncle was a Colonel in the Siberian Army. Since he had no kids, he never had to worry about having things around his house, especially a training room. Anastasia saw the room and begged her uncle to teach her. He would always refuse, saying it was not for her. Finally when she was twelve, he agreed to teach her. He taught her how to fight and how to handle guns. Anastasia loved it. She practiced all the time, even when her uncle was not there to supervise her. When the girl turned fifteen, her uncle fell sick and died soon after. She mourned him and got a tattoo in his honor. It reads "cede nullis", meaning "Yield to no one".
After this, she was sent to study to High School in the United States. She currently lives with her ever so absent aunt and uncle. Her cousin actually went to the school and is the one who introduced her around when she was new, though said cousin graduated not too long ago.

Before either knew each other from school, they met while they were shopping. Anastasia saw Brooklyn was short on money to pay for some expensive shoes and offered to help. Since then they have become "shopping buddies" though neither ask personal questions while together or talk about this with anyone else.

Seeing as she was the only child of her biological parents, and they were upper class, her inheritance is quite the sum. Then her uncle, who wasn't that far behind from her parent's economic status, also added to the count since he had no children or wife to leave money to and he considered her his daughter.
