Nah, seriously we'll just have to go different routes. I'm going the more technique/strategy based, guessing he's going more for power and speed. It should be fine..

Status effect as in what? I don't want it to be like a "instant poisoned for the entire battle" kind of thing.

No it wasnt going to be poison it was going to be a short period burn seeing as how its a fire attack (was hoping it would be a little more self explanatory) I planned on it being short and the target having to be hit more than once which i will probably add in now.
