Plot

Modern day city with modern day people who have modern day jobs, blahzay blahzay. Work, school, what ever it is that normal people do. However, when you get home, you are not really going straight home. You're entering what is known as KRYSIN. KRYSIN is a 'gaming system' per say. It is safe and efficient, sort of like the matrix, except its way more lenient. You lie on your stomach, put on a digitized helmet, and connect necessary wires to your neck, and arms. Once connected, you inter in the MENU.

Basically, these people go home to go into the wildest adventure ever! They all have imaginary made up characters with made up lives, but of course, there are other players. That's cool and all, but there is also something very wrong about it. Those cords are hooked into them. So what stimulates in KRYSIN, is also stimulating within them. To trip and fall would be to hurt yourself in reality in the same manor. To die...is to die. Really puts meaning into 'Game Over.'

Is it like .hack? Hmm...sorta, but there is a life outside of KRYSIN. There are people who play it ALL DAY...EVERY DAY. That can't be healthy. The friend you know at school who you're in love with doesn't know you are secretly Player: MisstearyxMaiden. Your best friend in KRYSIN is your rival at your job, but you don't know how to tell them. And who is that mysterious person in all black?

This rp would be living double lives. One in reality...one in Krysin. However, one of them has to go, for the government is threatening to shut KRYSIN down due to too many casualties out of the game. Do you riot with those to shut it down and move on with your REAL LIVES, or do you subdue yourself in KRYSIN...forever?

He has a 3 foot long tail that he usually keeps wrapped around his waist but also uses it for grabbing and using objects, handy for when he needs a potion or item and is in the midst of battle.

SKILLS:
Apocalypse Cloak: At the start of a battle he cloaks himself in fire which does small aoe damage to nearby enemies as well as detonates upon losing half of his overall health or deactivating it dealing 25% of the damage he took scaling up depending on level. (constantly drains mana)

Blazing Fury: His blade becomes engulfed in blue flames for a short amount of time increasing his damage and attack speed. It also inflicts a damage over time (D.O.T) status effect on anything/one it hits.

Adelaine has always been that one extremely quiet girl in her family. She has been known to barely say anything for an entire day, and still those who knew her well enough would get a sense of what she wasn't saying. She is very well trained in using expressions, and often is found to hide this little itty bitty smile, still having enough of a curl on her lips to bring a noticeable twinkle to her eyes. A gentle soul, Adelaine adores animals, seeing as she has three kittens, one puppy, a rabbit, turtle, and two parakeets. Soft-spoken, she is still well known to be kind, and simple, even though very organized for her age. However, kids in her class usually assume she is just weird, so most of them associate her with the word 'freak'. It is their loss, after all, so this does not bother her.

[In Game]
_Aberdeen_ is as cunning as she is swift on her feet. Sometimes brash, she does not wait for others to finish their sentence if she becomes bored of what it is they wish to get across. Similarly, if a team member is slow, falling behind her on a mission, she will leave them there if she feels they are just a weight on her shoulders. Also quiet like her out of game mind most of the time, her smirks and sarcastic eyes say everything she needn't vocalize. There is a vast amount of courage within her soul, and she will protect those in dire need of a helping hand. One would be smart not to get in her way, however..for she can lose it if she is not in the best of moods.

A rather complicated looking, high-tech blade that reaches about 3.5 feet in height. It could be considered heavy to most who wield it, however, being trained in the use of swordplay, _Aberdeen_ wields it with an impressive amount of expertise. She refers to the sword as Syncris, as if it has a mind and soul of It's own. To make traveling easier on herself, she carries Syncris against her back, with two strong bands of material over each shoulder, like the style of carrying a backpack. But.. a giant, deadly sword is hanging from the straps... So.. Not like a backpack.. No, sir.

Special Attributes:
_Aberdeen_ proudly strides with a pair of thin, white lynx ears sprouting from the top of her head, of course meshing in with the rest of her hair. These ears move, and function just like her normal set of human-like ones. With the extra set, she is given a more powerful sense of hearing. A full, wispy tail with the same style of fur reaches down to her ankles. In accordance to her emotions, this tail can swish from side to side, and often does. It reflects how she is feeling in the moment, which also helps others understand her when she doesn't feel like speaking. Clearly, _Aberdeen_ is made of half human blood, and half Lynx, in the Game. This only helps her to have more animal-like senses: hearing, smell, and sight. This aids her in especially dire situations, where she is on her own.

Skills:
Spiral Cut-
_Aberdeen_ wields Syncris, of course, for this skill move. Taking an offensive stance, she carefully steadies herself before her opponent and focuses all her energy upon the weapon in her grasp. The blade is brought with her body from side to side towards the one opposing her, quickly brought up, and then down in a continuous motion in their direction. This would be the typical move for facing one body. When there are multiple surrounding her, she will swipe Syncris in a full circle, becoming a blur by the speed of her form. This move is fairly powerful, however, it is more considered a Special Move, since it has added speed to it than her normal attacks.

Lightning Run-
During this move, _Aberdeen_ rushes in a swift formation towards her opponent, Syncris outstretched in front of her near her side to keep It steady and close. Becoming one with her weapon almost, this move has even more speed associated with it than Spiral Cut. This can also be used to escape a battle, seeing as _Aberdeen_ almost becomes one with the wind around her in the amount of acceleration applied to this Skill in particular. There is no lightning actually involved, as she cannot wield magic in any form. However, the swiftness of the ability may cause the opponent to feel a rather unpleasant sort of static along their body if she dashes past them, or marks them with her sword.

Short History:
In the real world, Adelaine lives a life of schedules and agendas. Her family is rather wealthy, with her father the President of a successful Toy Company that has grown to occupy all parts of the world. Sure, she lives in a mansion, of course, and there are maids all over the place, willing to help however they can in any situation at all. She has everything she could ever wish for as a child. Toys are ever increasing in her room, there are meals that a child would squeal upon taking in the aromas flying from their stainless kitchen, and her mother is incredibly sweet to her. Even with all of this, Adelaine is unhappy. Her father is barely home, her mother hovers constantly about her, her list of friends and true companions is intensely short, her whiny list of unhappy reasons could go on and on. Really, she is thankful for her many pets to keep her content. However, there is also a reason for why those around her act as they do as of late.
Adelaine is terminally ill. She has been for about two years now. The illness is unknown to the many doctors that have come to diagnose her, most likely it is in her genes. However, they do know for certain that she has a full year left to live, if she is not lucky enough to have two or three.
Adelaine has been home from school for about four months now. Life has been pretty dull, seeing as she can't leave her home most days. Some of her family members come to visit, sure. And maybe it is better she is away from her place of education, since the kids always found some way to bully her out of her mind. Her mother has a private tutor set up to visit her once a week, so it's not like she is missing too much. But.. things have been kind of slow lately.
That was until she discovered KRYSIN.
With the brand new Hello Kitty laptop in her lap for most of the day and night, she has finally found something to keep her interest for long enough.
Adelaine hopes that with this invention, she may be able to ignore real life, and be consumed into a reality that has been roaming around her wildest dreams since she could remember. Only in this world shall she become who she wants to be: _Aberdeen_. Adelaine knows she cannot escape death for long.. But, at least she can try.

Bio: Kydo is a just an ordinary person like anyone else. His job as a librarian was rather interesting, But the pay was good. As well as he had free access to any book he wanted. Kydo was busy putting books away during the closing hours and his computer powers on, emmiting a bright light that filled the more darker parts of the library. Kydo looks over at his desktop to seee a strange program called Krysin pop up on his screen. Without a word, he sits down and its enter. A character sheet pops up and he looks at it curiously. But, without questioning what was going on, he filled out the character sheet.

Personality: Aiden could best be described as a former delinquent whom got into fights at school on a near daily basis. Now he tries to hold back his anger but still has trouble containing it. Being stuck in the shadow of his older siblings, successful college graduates makes him feel inadequate and as if he was the laughing stock of his family for struggling in high school. Despite being a bit of a hot head, he is generally a decent person when not angered.

He does not attack fellow students without being provoked first and is willing to stand up for a friend's sake. He has no problems socializing with people but needs to find other ways than violence to solve disputes. He strongly desires a way to surpass his siblings and to escape from their shadow but finds such a convenient solution does not exist.

Real Life Appearance

Short History: Aiden is a troubled young adult; he struggled and continues to have issues managing his anger and insecurities. With his siblings being college graduates already, he has tough shoes to fill and constantly fails to meet his parent's standards. One day, his parents gave Aiden an ultimatum; He must get act together and pass high school or they'll kick him out. Because of this, Aiden has had to shape up and avoid fighting, much to his displeasure.

He is at risk of failing his senior year and being held back. The thought of not graduating with his friends and being kicked out brings him to despair. Despite Aiden's honest attempts to change his old ways, the school staff continues to antagonize him and treats him like a petty criminal. He can't skip a single class; he cannot start a single fight and has already been barred from several extracurricular activities.

All of this gives Aiden more and more stress, leading him to wanting to find some sort of outlet; some way he could fight but not get into trouble during his off time when not studying. He decides to turn to his computer, to play a new game that could at least try to simulate the feeling he gets when he fights. He starts playing KRYSIN for this reason. Perhaps he can even attempt to be the successful person he has always wanted to be in the game.

Yet he doesn't realize that fighting in KRYSIN will soon become just as high stakes as in real life.....


KRYSIN Character

Name: Count Kane

Gender: Male

Class: Archer

Personality: The opposite of Aiden, a more laid-back, refined yet still tough version of himself. Perhaps trying to imitate his older siblings yet retaining his own grit. Kane is cool and collected, looking at things from a logical stand point instead of being ruled by anger. He acts more out of necessity, to further his own goals rather than picking random fights. He generally will try to negotiate or smooth-talk his way out of most disputes. Kane avoids getting emotional but still would help those in need......As long as the reward is worth his time!

Weapon: Cygnus, a very excellent bow made of silver and other high grade materials. Kane works well with it and uses it as his signature and only weapon. While it lacks magical properties it is a reliable weapon that has yet to let Kane down. It certainly is above average and allows for high accuracy instead of raw power.

Skills:

Scorpio
Sets up a Scorpio, a smaller more practical version of a catapult made for sniping and emphasizing power and accuracy using arrows. It will last on the field for only two minutes and it requires Kane utilize it. The Scorpio is vulnerable to attack during this time and can be destroyed. While it does give Kane more power and accuracy, it leaves him vulnerable to attack while manning it and thus is not good when spotted by the enemy.

Venom-Laced Bolts
Kane uses special his supply of poisonous arrows to attempt to poison the target to do damage over time to the target. The arrows needs to make direct contact with the skin to work and are useless on heavily armored or inorganic targets. There is also a chance the poison will not work even if the arrow hits, it is not guaranteed to work.

-Born Rosalia Fantima to a high powered American CEO mother, Rosalia's life would never be the same as any other woman's. Since birth, jewels, gifts, luxury was just a part of a daily basis life for her, she expected nothing less of the utmost extravagance, sheets made out of the highest quality silk, jewels made of the finest gold and closets filled with items that any and all women could ever ask for; She hated it.

Everyday that passed was filled with fake, lying people who would be the ultimate suck ups just to get a upper hand with her mother.'Mom' as most call was not exactly favorable either, Rosalia had lost count of all the lies she had told of being 'working' when in fact she was with other men. At this point it was just part of daily life and she had grown used to it, but not without a emotional scar. Her only comfort: Cyberspace. The internet, her escape and paradise. Another pastime was her love of reading, she enjoyed reading tales about love and deceit, adventure and mystery but her most favorable would fall under the category of Fairy Tales; stories about princess and evil witches, knights and dragons, she adored every inch of it.

PERSONALITY:

Offline: Francesca was hired by Adelaine's parents to always watch after her, and she has done so for 5 years, learning the ropes as she grew up herself. She devotes herself to the young mistress absolutely, and will not be forgiven if any harm comes to her. She cooks all her meals, and obeys her every wish and whim. That being said, she can come across as almost robotic to anyone who doesn't know her, putting her mistress's safety before anything else. It was Adelaine's wish that she played this game alongside her, and she obeyed.

Online: There isn't much change in her personality online, aside from her acting braver, due to her abilities in the game. She will gladly switch targets to save Adelaine from an assault, and will not tolerate insults to the young mistress.

Offline, Jonathan is your typical jock. He hits on every girl that walks by, hangs out with his friends, the 'cool' kids' and make fun and prank the nerds in the school. He's the top guy, whoever he says is cool, is cool, whoever he says isn't cool, isn't cool. End of story. He can be quite a jerk, but that is not all that he wants to be ..

Online, Jonathan is who he considers to be his 'true self'. In the game, he's your average nice guy that is willing to go out of his own way to help you, throw you a few coins when you are in need, toss you a potion when you run on low health and fight tooth and nail just to protect his friends. KRYSIN is the reason why he's stopped going to more than one party a week - He spends most of his extra time, outside of schoolwork and sports in this game because he sees his true self in this game, a place where he can do whatever he wants to do and he won't be judged for it.

Short History: What can I say? From young Jonathan's got his life planned out for him. His parents wanted him to be what they were - Perfect students, balanced between sports and schoolwork, get a scholarship, go to university, get a good job, settle down. And that was what Jonathan did, all the way. Although he isn't exactly achieving a perfect balance, he is definitely excelling in sports.

Axl has achieved a state of peace and awareness where he, instead of going against an attack head on deflects it, or dodges it so as not to receive full brunt of the force. All attacks that hit him have their damage received by an equation of (30 + CURRENT LEVEL) percent.

JUST A REMINDER TO EVERYONE.

1.)Once again, you all start off at LEVEL 1. Just like any game.

2.)Yes, I have seen all of your weapons and they look COMPLETELY bad ass. HOWEVER, You all still have to start off with one of the single weapons I have given you. (Except maybe you, Panda. Since you're a fighter, you start off with your fist and end with your fists I assume. You can always upgrade to specific gloves and stuff.) Once you reach Level 2 you can start off with the weapon you already have, but remind you, it wont be super strong.

3.) IN REALITY, make sure you have a plot of some sort! Each character has there on little subplot and reasons for playing KRYSIN, but REMEMBER, the government is trying to shut it down! Pick which side you are on! Are you FOR the government interference in KRYSIN due to the current death rate and hospitalized patients? Are you AGAINST the government for trying to shut down one of the BEST THINGS that have happened to the economy, community, and entertainment system?​

May _Aberdeen_ start with a giant stick for her weapon? :D And then it becomes the one in the picture at level 2, though is clearly not as powerful?
A lot of her power depends on how quickly she can move. -nodnod.-
Also, I believe it is apparent in her history that she would be against the Government taking it down, since it is her only social outlet, really.
Though, being ten-years-old, I believe she would be all like ' T ^T ' face about the Government's plans, and most likely vent to Francesca about it.
How does that sound? ^^'

There is a broad sword as a starter weapon. Think of when you rank up, that flimsy little thing can turn into a dazzling color of lights, sound, and that awesome background music and THEN it turns into Syncris! :D

Miss Princess- I see that you have used the Wooden Staff of Mages. You do not have to continue the game with that staff, you know! You can make it into an awesome, kick ass staff! Also, you are not limited to one element as a Mage.

BUT. If you're cools with it, I'm cools with it. ^^
