  1. I'm thinking of running regular chat nights in the Dicebox. The setting below allows us to go on a variety of adventures with different level characters. Check out the D&D fan club for a place to store your character sheets and declare availability. ;)

    Knights of the Serendark

Castle Serendark... a place between worlds, a planar citadel of dreams and nightmares. Legend tells it is as old as the multiverse itself, forged in the gaps between light and shadow, and inhabited by the Staves.

Angels to some and demons to others, the servants of the castle have but one cause: the preservation of the Time Garden - a cosmic plan to ensure True Neutrality in the greater cycles of history. And though forbidden to use their powers directly on the planes, the Staves have means to call upon mortal heroes.

And so there are others who call Castle Serendark home. Outcasts and crusaders, orphans and mercenaries... all manner of adventurers with points to prove or nowhere else to turn. They are given all the comforts of knighthood, with chambers and laboratories to suit their needs. In the hallowed halls of Serendark a man may study and train, explore and enterain, mixing freely with their comrades or wandering far into the labyrinth should the impulse take them. And all along watched by the remote and mysterious Stave creatures.

But when the castle slips between the planes... when the Time Garden yields up twisted root or poisoned seed... and when the Staves call upon their mortal friends to aid them... these adventurers must come together to partake of deeds both virtuous and heinous... deeds that will ensure the survival of the realms.
