Welcome to Kingdom Hearts: Daybreak! This is a roleplay that is chronologically set during Kingdom Hearts: Unchained X. Some knowledge of past Kingdom Hearts games may be required to fully understand this roleplay's lore, but it is not required that anyone needs to know all of the series' lore to participate. Newcomers to the Kingdom Hearts series are welcome!

This is a game that will be divided up into chapters, and events will happen over certain periods of time in these chapters. The main idea of this roleplay is based around Daybreak Town--home of the Keyblade wielders in this story. All of the wielders will be living here, acquiring missions from a mission postings board at the town plaza, and working together to gather lux for their Unions. The separate Unions--although they try to work together--have been feuding lately. Will they resolve their differences? Or will their problems eventually lead to a civil war?

Note: This roleplay will diverge from canon at some point. Many events that will take place in this roleplay are events that have not been revealed in titles such as Kingdom Hearts 2.8 and Kingdom Hearts 3, so they will be original, non-canon events.

Personality:

Millicent is...Interesting. While often acting like the smartest person in the room, she's also supremely childish. She talks a little too fast. She loves being smack in the middle of attention. Her tone is more often than not blatantly patronizing to anyone she talks to, using small words, subtly insinuating that she thinks you're...A few leaves short of a Mint Julep, if you know what she means. She has a deep interest in the macabre. She's not a stranger to underage drinking, not to mention a cigar every now and again. Morality has little meaning to Millicent, and she always believes herself to be above all action's consequences. She's immune to what can be taught. Besides, despite some of her more unsavory habits, she is well-mannered. She does so love helping to teach the lessons, after all...

How someone like her is allowed to wield a key is unknown, and it could be an implication of a softer core. Millicent insists she has nothing to hide. She would never make an ass out of herself like that.

For as long as she can remember Millicent has been a part of the eternal carnival of temptations. After all, many young boys can be very easily allured by a pretty lady. She ran a hoop-and-bottle game--Just get three hoops on three bottlenecks and you too can have your own bottle of whiskey! Free alcohol for just a silly game, who could say no? The patrons of Pleasure Island would spend their pocket-change on the blatantly rigged game. If they managed to win, they had their promised elixir. If they didn't win, they had foolishly spent all their hard-earned allowance on mere trifles, making the situation a win for Millicent and the carnival either way. They'd have a new shipment of donkeys within a few days (she relished in their terrified faces, little brats they were), and the carnies all appreciated her work. Life was simple.

She couldn't have asked for anything more.

Yet still, like the spoiled circus princess she was, she got more.

Millicent always did have odd dreams, odd feelings swelling in her chest that the world could be more than giving children a taste of what they made for themselves. The world needed more of Millicent's brand of shine. She loved Pleasure Island with all of her heart, but when a certain odd Chirithy appeared in one of her dreams telling her of the power she could wield and how supremely her lust for travel could be sated, she took the offer with a smile on her face.

Personality: Calm and composed. Very studious and logical. She's also very caring for those she's with. She does, however, have that upperclass temperament. She still does work, but can't stand to get her clothes wet or dirty. However, this attitude falls if she sees another being hurt. She will rush to their aid, sometimes sacrificing her own safety, to rush to assist the other people. She will not be manipulated, no matter what it takes. She doesn't leave things to Fate or Chance, and instead leaves things in her own hands. She has a sense of humor, but is slow to the draw when the joke is about her. She also has a sense of honor, and will get offended and angry if it's being offended.

She can also be a bit of a Tsundere during first impressions.

Bio: Aurelia is a noblewoman from the Archadian Empire in Ivalice. It's fairly uncommon for a person from Ivalice to become a Keyblade wielder. She was the daughter of an Archadian Senator, and a proud noblewoman in her own right. She studied magic to better herself, and was proved to be a very good student. She wanted a position as a Judge Magister.

Then, she met a chirithy in her dream, who told her of her destiny. She told her family, and her father sent her on her way. As Archadia was embroiled in war, she was sent away to Daybreak Town with a platoon of armed guards, who have since left.

Her Chirithy wears Plate Armor that looks like that of an Ivalice Judge Magister. It's kind of cute in a way.

Bio:

Alan was an ordinary boy. He has no memories of his past, and all he knew was that he was a Keyblade wielder. He joined the Vulpes Union until he can recall who he was, but he knew that he was sort of different from others.

Home World: From an unknown world known as Earth.

Stella is a strangely innocent girl, with a strong sense of justice, she is unusually quiet, and usually rather timit, but if provoked in the right way, she can be quite the formidable fighter. Despite her quiet, and very enigmatic nature, she seems to have a very keen of perception, and tends to "feel" when something is wrong, even possessing a keen sense of empathy in that aspect at times.

Bio:

She first arrived beaches of Destiny Islands, crying... And wrapped in a bundle of cloth, remarkably only a bit damp from the receding tides. It was never discovered how she came to be here, nor who her parents were, but her crying eventually drew the attention of a nearby couple, one who didn't have a child of their own just yet. To them at the time, it seemed almost like she was there to grant their wish to have a child, as they had just been talking about going over to the orphanage and adopting one, as her adoptive mother turned out to be sterile. After taking her in, they eventually decided to name her "Stella", as it seemed that the stars had aligned in just the right way, spurring her arrival at the Destiny Islands.

Stella grew up to be a youthfull, but timid girl with a distinct head of blonde hair and a strange fascination with the stars in the sky, spending many nights on her own, stargazing until she eventually dozed off... Her dreams filled of adventure and action,and strangely enough, her holding a strange keyblade of some sort in her hands. As a result of these odd dreams, she often fantasized about beating back dark evildoers with a sword... Though, it is often embarassing for her to be seen swinging about a stick, and shouting somewhat silly one liners out in public, so she always makes sure to be in a secluded spot when she does this sort of thing. By her 15th birthday, she had grown out of that childish habbit, but, the strange dreams she had never ceased to fade away... Each one more vivid than the last.

It wasn't long after that she discovered her role as a Keyblade wielder after countless years of starting dumbfounded at the strange blade in her hands, when a Chirithy finally called out to her, and she discovered her role as a Keyblade wielder. Her wildest fantasies, as little as she had expected them to, had finally come to life... And with the guidance of her Chirithy, she could finally realize her own potential here in Daybreak Town. On her freetime in Daybreak Town, she often liked to sit on a branch in the park, and gaze up at the stars... Often wondering how her foster parents are doing, and sometimes, how she had come to arrive at the Destiny Islands.

As the game data downloaded, he felt something strange, as if something was tugging at him. He thought it was Square Enix trying to get him to buy IAP, so he ignored it for now. When the game started up, something unimaginable happened. He was sucked into the phone he downloaded the game, and now, until he finds a way back to his world, he joined the Vulpes Union after realizing that he himself, was a Keyblade Wielder.

@Bomb But joking aside, if you could change your bio to something different that'd be great. Your home world can be Earth if you want, but how your character ends up in Daybreak Town should be changed since the RP isn't about people getting sucked into their phones. lol.

Good 'ol Mort is rather poker-faced most of the time and smiling cheekily some of the time, making him usually difficult to read. When it comes to motivations on coming along for the ride, they don't quite add up with everyone else's, being that one little minority that doesn't do what he does because it's right, but because he wants to.. or because it seems fun; somewhere along those lines. More often than not, he'll join others if they're after the same thing-- who doesn't love company? Hedonism seems to rule him most of all out of every code of ethics in the book, so if he's not entertained, then he's probably going to leave. Goodbye, see you later, it's been fun. For this reason he seems to love uproars and commotions, because there's just so much going on. If it dies down, he'll look disappointed and be on his merry way. Mortimus rarely has any hateful feelings towards people, nice, mean, or in-between, but he does tend to annoy them by being obliviously insensitive, with offensive statements directed towards them passive-aggressively, or by saying things he doesn't really mean just to get a reaction out of them.

With all that said, however, that's not to say he doesn't believe in friends. It's just that said friends probably need to have a high tolerance for his antics when it's possible that he could say one thing, but do something else. He certainly.. keeps you on your toes, that's for sure.

Mortimus was one of those fun-loving fanatics that hung around in Neverland to-- what else?-- have fun and nothing but fun! Responsibilities were hard to keep up with, and those didn't exist in this world, as far as he was concerned! But, he sort of ran solo without joining the Lost Boys, because.. well, he personally thought the animal outfits looked ridiculous. And apparently it was mandatory for every member, so the answer was clear: no thanks. But he was more than happy to join in on whatever adventure was going on around the place, as it seemed he would never, ever be without something to do!

Keyword, seemed. For a while, it slowly began to feel like, no matter how subtle, Mort was going on escapades that were becoming more and more similar to each other. Once you've scoured the area for adventure once, you've done it a dozen times. Even fights with Captain Hook and his crew were getting stale, how does that happen?! He didn't want to admit it, but.. he was getting bored of the place. And he didn't like that. Not one bit. Even his dreams sort of felt the same, kind of..

..That is, until one chance night he fell asleep.. And suddenly, hints of a new world.. no, many new worlds, just for him to explore and have fun in, and make his own type of social recreation-- that is, if there were other inhabitants for him to introduce himself to. His wishes were answered shortly, once a Chirithy explained the endless possibilities and merryment he could have-- and all with a certain power he could make his own. Needless to say, he jumped on the offer and the implied journeys it would be taking him on. Endless excitement, here comes Mortimus.

Name: King 'Coal' Vance.

Keyblade: Three Wishes. Main keyblade?

Baron Friday: A trumpet-styled keyblade that King plays to cast his brand of magic. Etched with skulls and snake patterns, it looks as though it was carved from bone and its keychain is a shrunken head. But it plays as well as any trumpet in good condition.

Personality: "They told me I could be anything. So long as I stayed in the engine room and did what they told me. I don't dig that though and one day, I left them. I found music in my soul and a whole city that vibrated with it. Wasn't so bad really, till the day I found something more. Some old magicians house where I learned more then I had ever dreamed. I got some Friends on the other side, and what I pay them in is my music. I offer soul and heart and I get power in return. Sometimes I wonder what'll happen one day, when I got no more to give. But till then, as we say in New Orleans? C'est la vie."

Bio: Born a river rat from a one-night stand between a maid and a gambler, King was raised on a steamboat and grew up among the coal piles in the engine room, giving rise to his nickname 'Coal'. Partly this and partly a shoutout to his creole heritage. But while he worked, what he dreamed of was music. Jazz was always wafting down through the boat for the visitors and he'd often work humming along till he knew the beats as well as they did. At sixteen years old, he left the steamship to enter New Orleans and with a battered trumpet and five dollars, made his living playing on street corners and jamming with his fellow musicians.

And then the dreams began to return. Whispers of things in the corner of his eye led him to a run-down place, along an alley he had never been before. There he saw his first heartless as they attacked him. And for reasons unknown to him, he chose to play his music. Something answered and another shadow ripped through them, music for the price of life.
