Kingdom Creatures

Raiden backed up towards the left wall of the room. He watched with intent to see if this actually worked. He had always wanted to enchant his sword and a few of his arrows. It would make killing way more easier. Especially for this war that;s coming up. He ran his right hand through his black short hair. He looked towards the queen and smirked a little. He shook his head. I swear there's no woman in this world more beautiful than her. he thought to himself. He stared at her for quite a while, daydreaming about her, and reminiscing the dreams and beautiful nightmares he sometimes had about her.

Having that mind reading power could be annoying, but also useful. He couldn't control it. It just happened. He heard everyones thoughts. Raiden's were the most interesting. Now he knew how he felt about the queen. He gave Raiden a glance and smirked, a silent agreement not to tell the queen out of respect. "Claire! Hurry up, please! Bring the dummy and armor separately if you must, but do hurry, dear!"

When Nevinyyral glanced at him he immediately remembered he could read minds. He sent a small smile back his way once he noticed he wasn't going to tell her. Maybe he should show a little bit more respect for this guy. Raiden turned his eyes back to the queen once more, before deciding to leave the room and go training. He needed it for this war. "Nev if this little 'trick' of yours works, I'd appreciate it if you could probably use the enchantment on my sword. Meet me in the training field when you're done here if you don't mind brother." Raiden walked out of the room taking one more glance back to the queen, then he walked down to the yard. He felt the sword tattoo on his back get heavier. With in moment he had a large metal sword hanging off of his back. He grabbed it and pulled it off slowly, and immediately started practicing his strokes and moves.

The wizard would be able to hear the rude things she was suddenly thinking about him at his request for her to hurry up. Specifically where he could put the dummy when she brought it up. She came in with the dummy, glared at the wizard, and walked back out. It was quite a few trips for her to bring the armor in and she left it in a pile on the floor. She walked up to stand by the queen and refresh the woman's tea. She was the queen's maid, not the wizard's go-for. And she was worn out and tired enough not to reign in her thoughts around him. At the moment, she was hoping things would backfire and that he'd set himself on fire...

Charlette looks over at Claire. "You seem tired. Sit down if you need to. Take advantage of this, you might be working faster and harder the more stressed I get thecloser this war comes."

"Thank you, Claire. And, quite frankly, I would rather not put the dummy there." He stopped staring at the maid in annoyance. He started muttering something in a strange tongue, and the armor and dummy floated in the air and was fully assembled by the Wizards magic. He placed it onto the ground, and stood back. "Behold!" he yelled, and threw the jar on the ground where the dummy was standing. A giant green glaze shot up, and engulfed it. Through the flame, the armor could be seen melting and the wood quickly being reduced to ash. He pulled out a bucket of water and threw it on the fire, only making it burn stronger. He had to yell over the roar of the flame, "See? Water only makes it worse!" He took a bucket of milk from a boy walking in from a nearby farm, and threw it on the fire. It died almost instantaneously. "It's only weakness is whole cows milk. Nobody will expect to use milk, though. Who brings that much milk onto the battlefield? No-one! It's perfect!"

Charlette sees that it's now evening and she yawns. "Where's Raiden? He knows he has to ecourt me. Oh and wonderful job Nev." ' It was brilliant but Raiden is getting ready for this war and it scares me.'

Claire whimpered softly at the queen's first comment. She sighed heavily and sat, watching the demonstration. She was...surprised the queen didn't see it's potential in the war. Even if the wizard was quite annoying. But this...in the wrong hands...or the right hands...was terrifying for the poor girl.

Nevinyyral took pride in what he had done. "Raiden is in the training grounds. I am supposed to imbue his sword with this." He walks up to Claire and puts a comforting hand on her shoulder. He speaks softly into her ear, "I can hear your thoughts, sense your fear. The only way anyone else will get this is if they get the recipe from me. I only have enough left to augment Raiden's sword, and then I'm all out. I want you to know that even though we have our differences, I will not let anyone hurt you, especially myself." He escorted the queen to Raiden, so they could talk and he could fuse his new invention and Raiden's sword.

{I hope you guys don't mind me trying to jump into this...? C:}

eing bored was never as good as it sounded. You'd assume that you could get millions of frivolous things done, yet that was highly incorrect. In fact, to him, it would allow you to do less than you'd want to do. Clog your mind with millions of unnecessary thoughts. Especially ones that would rather be left hidden. Aaron let out a deep sigh, loud and rather breathy. Why couldn't anything interesting occur? Sure, they were almost at a full scale war with the opposing forces due to marriage, but nothing other than a threat was occurring at the moment. There were no words of any casualties, as far as he was told. Or heard. In fact, the Queen was stumped, and the idiots of the court were trying to figure something out. He thought it was all useless. Xerlios was probably a much better strategic team, really. Having no good reason to call on a war other than being rejected? He doubted it, then. There were, though, a few sensible people in the entire Court. Most being people below the higher ups, to him. Sometimes people just worried too much, he assumed.

He easily stepped passed the guards at the door with few words of greeting and walked into the throne room, in which the Queen was being escorted out by the Mage. Nearby, sitting down, was the maid Claire, and as for anyone else, he had no clue. He didn't have much of a care, but it bothered him to know the only people in the room were the Queen, the Mage, and the Maid. That, by itself, made no sense whatsoever. He practically laughed, but stifled it to a mere chuckle. Walking over to a chair, in which he was late to be in the Court in the first place, the red headed messenger took a seat. He glanced at a chessboard, moving one of the pawns to start the game before turning back to look at the retreating figures of the Mage and Queen. He wasn't needed, and he didn't really care what they did, as long as it didn't affect him. He quickly laid his head to rest in his palm, his golden eyes half-lidded, bored.

((welcome to Iwaku!))

Nevinyyral, even as he hurriedly escorted the queen to the Grounds, notice the messenger boyenter the court. "Aaron! you look bored. Come! I have a job for you!"

Claire gave the mage a look and sighed. "Thank you for your kind words." She said softly, though she was hardly put at ease. She watched the pair walk out and Aaron walk in. She sighed, stood, and walked over to sit across from him at the chess board. She moved a piece in response and looked up at him. "What do you think of all this?" She asked softly, staring at the chessboard.

After executing a move he had never done before he jumped up in joy not caring who saw until he noticed Nevinyyral, the queen, and Aaron walking down to the training grounds, where he stood. He immediately stopped jumping and tried the move again to maybe impress the queen as she was watching this time. Raiden took a deep breath, then ran as fast as he could towards a training dummy, then jumped about 20 feet into the air, then came down on the dummy flipping a few times before slicing right down the middle of the dummy. He smiled as he finished, and almost leaped for joy again, but stopped before he embarrassed himself again. He turned around pretending to be surprised. "Oh! Nevvy buddy! I had no idea you were watching!" he lied. He ran his left hand through his hair and started walking towards Nevinyyral. He took off his jacket revealing his muscular, but lean body, under a white tank top, he flexed his muscles on purpose as he rested his left hand on his head. He handed Nev the sword. "Do your magic Nev!" As he backed off, he nodded at the queen. His knees went weak just by looking at her, but he kept his stance. He popped his knuckles as he waited to watch Nevinyyral enchant his sword.

Nevinyyral thought for a moment, then remembered a property transfer spell. He could transfer the properties of the Eternal Blaze (he made that name as they were walking towards the Grounds) onto the edge of the sword! He took out the last of it, and threw it on the ground, watching the emerald flame shoot upward. He started the incantation in a language that could not be understood by either Raiden nor the queen. The fire slowly died out, and more fire ran up the edge of the blade, starting at the hilt and working it's way to the point. Once the transfer was complete, the fire on the ground was gone and the swords edge was blazing green. "Alright, Raiden, if your done being a show-off, try it out. You forget I can hear your thoughts. By the way, don't dip the blade in cow milk, it will put the flame out. As for when you put the sword away, the back tattoo it becomes will now have fire surrounding the blade."

Raiden nodded. "Do you think you could give my two pistols unlimited ammo??? That would come in handy in the future. I-I mean if you can. It's all could if you can't Nev." Raiden pulled out a cigarette and lit it with his flaming blade, before returning it to his back. The sword soon became a tattoo once more. Raiden blew smoke through his nose and waited for an answer.

I suppose I could, Dante," He said mockingly, referencing the long lost Son of Sparda. "I will have to take then to my workshop and dismantle them, though. I have to make sure the spell is used on the right parts." He hold out his hands, waiting for Raiden to hand him the guns.

((I know -w- nice one))

Raiden handed him his two pistols with no hesitation and nodded with a smile. "Thanks old man!" Raiden watched the queen once more. Then he looked over at Nev. Nev could you uh...do me a favor? Could you find out what guy she's interested in...I mean ya know....since it's not the king and all... Raiden thought to himself. He was almost Nev wouldn't tell him. He would probably say some wise stuff like 'It's better if you don't know' or 'in time you will find out.' Raiden sighed and continued to look at the queen.

((Thanks, I figured you'd get it))

The mage takes the guns and begins to walk to his workshop. Raiden hears a voice in his head, the voice of the old man. I will do what I can, unless the truth will absolutely devastate you. He says aloud, "I will return before nightfall."

Charlette yawns again "So tired." She falls asleep standing up and falls to the right.

Without a glance, Nev casts a spell backwards, catching the falling queen. He then handed her off to Raiden. He used telepathy to tell him Take her to her room, and don't try anything.
