At age nine, Josie remembered experiencing the horrors of an E. Coli Outbreak, though her parents claimed there was also one when she was three years old. She was considered one of the lucky ones to not get "infected" with the disease early on. Some of the local families and neighbors, however, were subject to sickness or death. Food supply from ground beef and lettuce— which was most susceptible to E. Coli— was cut off from England completely and municipal water sources were triple checked for any signs of the rapidly growing bacteria.

Josie got sick from a third E. Coli outbreak at 14 in England, experiencing strong bouts of nausea, vomiting, pain, and tenderness for several days in a row. When Josie recovered, she completed Year 10, or 9th grade U.S. equivalency, with A+ grades and enters Year 11. Year 11, at the age of 16 is when the weird "things" happened. The situations that seemed to come out of nowhere. Josie seemed completely innocent and everyone around her that wasn't affected by her ability thought people were going insane. Her parents stepped in, persuading the principal about why he needed to keep her on the roster and look past these strange happenings which were really nothing more than that, though the government saw it differently.

Josie kept to herself during most of the school year and found solace in her A-Levels and a passion for studying. She struggled to make friends, as people believed that she caused nothing but trouble after the various schooling incidents that she was coincidentally in. School became her paragon as she opted to enroll in university at sixteen, which was considered earlier than most. Her outstanding ability to excel in more advanced studies where others failed was a great marker for her success, as was her passion for molecular biology and chemistry.

At nineteen, Josie received her B.A. in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University. Following her B.A., she spent the last four years studying more effects of the E. Coli outbreak and her research brought her to the United States where the E. Coli outbreak spread to New York, Baton Rouge, and various other states. At twenty three, she received her M.A. in Biology from the University of Oxford and disappeared from England shortly thereafter after she nearly got caught in her studies. Now, she's moved to Chicago to further her research under the pretense that her true name is not Josephine Ramsden. She operates under the alias, Olivia Ward, to deceive the United States government of who she really is.

Etienne's Personal Relations

Kaius Reinhart
Name:
Lord Kaius of House Reinhart
Race: Elf-Blooded Human
Age: 34
Allegiance: Shaodor
Position/Role: Captain of the Shaodor Army, Lord of the Reinhart Household
Appearance: Lord Kaius

Brief History:
As a knight, his life and training were set fair and square from the first time he tried to pick up a sword at seven years old on account of seeing his Mother's sword in the courtyard one day. He became squire at a young age and so his journey began. He hadn't much success with women, however, a young lady named Etienne always caught his eye and put a bright smile on his face. Kaius worked hard and relentlessly to get where he is now, and a bit of encouragement from Eti came a long way.

Emric Godfrey
Name:
Lord Baron Emric of House Godfrey
Race: Normal Human
Age: 58
Allegiance: Shaodor
Position/Role: Emissary of King of Shaodor, Baron of House Godfrey
Appearance: Lord Baron Emric

Brief History:
Emric's life was rather quaint and unassuming for his childhood. He did as he was told, he was a "good boy" and did his mother and father proud many times, especially upon his first marriage when he was nineteen. The passing of his grandfather when twenty five hardened the young man. At forty six, he remarried a third time to Etienne Farrow and while the two supposedly kept on a good face, Emric felt trapped with a woman who didn't want him after he'd come to the conclusion she was unable to give him heirs. He immediately looked for comfort elsewhere and has not communicated much with Etienne for a while now, if at all.

Etienne of House Farrow

Name and Title: Lady Etienne of House Farrow (Informal Address), Formerly Her Grace, Etienne of House Godfrey (Current Correct Address)

Nickname: Eti (Eh-ti), only by close friends

Pronunciation: Eh-ti-en, Fair-oh, God-fray

Age: 29

Race: Normal Human

Allegiance: Shaodor (Vraenor Empire)

Position/Role: Lady of House Farrow (Informal), Baroness of House Godfrey (Formal), Spymaster for Shaodor (Main)

Weaponry/Gear: Mother of Pearl Integral Dagger

Skills:
Perception — Awareness of her surroundings has vastly improved through her observation and detail orientation. She can spot the little things, even the objects and cracks another person may have a tough time finding, so long as it is not guarded by magic.

Bluff — After many years of learning how to skirt around trouble, Etienne has become proficient in telling lies. She knows how to position her words and her body language in different situations, however, if she is intimidated or uncomfortable by someone, it may be more difficult to keep a straight face.

Diplomacy — As a noblewoman, Etienne was raised to be the face of Shaodor, and in that light, it was always important to demonstrate leadership by social influence and negotiation. People who are stubborn may not be as easy to negotiate with and resolve differences.

Handle Animal: Horse — Etienne learned how to ride, train, and take care of horses from five years of age. She still holds and retains valuable knowledge to this day and has her own black stallion named Marcellus.

Weapon: Dagger — For four years, since she was twenty five, Etienne learned how to defend herself from an elven knight named Kaius who found himself infatuated with her regal elegance and sense of power. For eight years, Kaius taught her how to handle a dagger in order to defend herself. Etienne has not found need for the dagger yet.

Weaknesses:
Limited Knowledge: Weapons — Although Etienne has a fairly proficient knowledge of daggers and knows how to use them properly, she severely lacks knowledge and experience in other close quarter combat weapons and all ranged combat weapons.

Lack of Magic — Given Etienne was not raised in Vraenor, many Vraenorans, especially the Emperor, would have the upperhand in controlling and harming her (magically) to a great extent, should those situations ever come to pass.

Swim — If she were to ever be left in the middle of a lake, or even more terrifying sources of water, it would be realistic to believe she would not survive thirty minutes out there, or be able to save herself when she inevitably drowns.

Lack of Upper Body Strength — While she can manage a dagger, heavy lifting and fighting against men are not usually the best calls to show off her strength. Dexterity is a given for Etienne, however, she cannot be matched against brute strength and would likely be defeated when going against someone who is not of equal body size to her or less.

Pacifist — Etienne absolutely abhors the idea of war and violence, and as such, is always willing to go above and beyond to reconcile differences in a diplomatic manner. She tries every last resource she has, even when the answer is clearly war.

Appearance:
As a noblewoman, Etienne has been raised on promoting beauty within herself and others. She cares deeply about her personal hygiene and how she appears to others, though she does not take criticism personally if someone believes they can dictate what she wears. Etienne stands at 5'7" with blue eyes and an inverted triangle body shape, which traditionally means her thighs and waist are more slender. She wears minimal jewelry and simple dresses when she can, humble and private about showing off her wealth to others. She has a dagger concealed on her upper left thigh underneath her dress at all times, just in case an unsavory situation calls for a threat to her opponent.

Personality:
Etienne is a well-read, prim and proper lady with sass and elegance. She exudes high confidence in the way she carries herself and the faithful demeanor she has. When people first meet her, they may mistake her for a fragile young noblewoman because of how kind and gentle she is. Etienne does not let others define her, however, and always keeps tabs on those she suspects may betray her, as well as continually establishing new connections so that she may have leverage whenever the time comes. She dislikes violence, however, if subtle force is needed after she's exhausted every other resource first, Etienne is not afraid to demonstrate a different side of her. Every challenge she's faced has been one step forward for her, not one step back, and she intends to bring justice to Shaodor because of the great loyalty her family has received for over one hundred years.

Brief History:

WARNING: CHILD DEATH

Etienne was raised greatly in the minor noble house of Farrow. Her parents had the luck, as some would call, of having a long lasting marriage of soul love. There were fights in the household, no doubt, however, they were often resolved quickly and efficiently. Kindness was demonstrated as a virtue, as was caution. Etienne learned many subjects from her private tutor, including geography, local knowledge, and the most important, her upbringing and the noble circle. She made many connections as noble, swift with words and quick with action.

A few suitors expressed interest in her, and while she allowed them to court her, she did not wish to marry any of them, for fear that a loveless marriage would trap her in a spiral of depression and self-doubt. Etienne grew cautious of the whole "love" game, though after a harsh scold from her mother, she felt obligated to find someone regardless of how she truly felt. At twenty three, she swallowed her pride and married a man twice her age, at her father's recommendation. Their consummation night was absolutely embarrassing, however, she managed... somewhat.

For a while, the stark differences and arguments between her and her husband were enough to keep the couple running away from each other. Etienne was rather naive at the time as well, and did not make much fuss about her husband coming home early morning the next day, or leaving for a week. She laid it all out to business and things she shouldn't concern herself with, as her husband had also told her to keep her nose out of his travels. A few years later, they tried again, however, the child was sickly and passed away not long after he was born. Emric, her husband blamed the child's passing on Etienne and the blame hardened her.

Etienne found out not long after that her husband had been having many affairs behind her back during his "business travels" to other countries, or simply the next city over. She drew on her experience as an opportunity to become more in tune with what was going on around the world and the true colors of those at court. helped identify many traitors for the kingdom, and as such, she was offered the position of spymaster when she was twenty seven. Etienne graciously accepted. For three years, she served faithfully in hunting down assassins who may attempt to poison the royal family and those who wish death and misfortune to the immediate royal family members. She did it all, until now.

Kaius, a close friend she was fond of for his honor, saved her from experiencing an even more dreadful afternoon, and offered to teach her self defense in secret.

Etienne drew on her experience as an opportunity to become more in tune with what was going on around the world and the true colors of those at court. Miscellaneous:
It's important to note that Etienne was married and technically still is, however, her husband does not, and has never played a huge part in her life. This is the reason why he is not mentioned in her history. She married at twenty three, not long after she was attacked by Caelic at twenty one, which was considerably late for marriage in medieval times.

Victoria "Victor" Newman

Victoria wasn't accustomed to being called by a men's name... at all. She'd thought of the name Victor right on the dot and now, with her hair hidden and chest bound by gauze, she'd successfully worn her disguise for almost eight weeks now aboard the Weeping Siren, her Father's ship. They were bound for Jamaica, their new home, her new home. The sea hadn't been kind to her the first few weeks and neither had the men. They were harsh on her as "Victor" the newcomer, a young boy who didn't speak much, however, was eager to do the dishes and swab the poop deck while he was training. Victoria had only made it seem like "Victor" was interested in doing the small, menial tasks for the mere fact that, 'If I can't do the small things right, sir, how am I able to do the big things right, sir?'

Well-played; they'd taken the bait and since, well, his seasick episodes, that's all Victor had really been put to work as. Victor made sure the men had clean plates, knives, forks, and what have you. He did the laundry as well, and many of the men wondered where Victor had gotten such an interest, such skill in taking care of these things. Victor's skills weren't questioned nonetheless; if he was content doing the small things, he'd be ready to take on the big things, like today. Victoria folded the last few pieces of laundry up and was about to take her hat off to cool herself down a bit when Peter, one of the errand boys, like Victor was, suddenly popped his head in. Victor's hair stood up on all ends as he noticeably jumped up. Peter laughed, "Such a scaredy cat, Victor! Captain says you'll be training on the cannons today!"

Training with cannons and get soot all over him? Victor grimaced before he gulped down his disgust. He'd already learned the ropework and sailing in general, these cannons must've been a test of his more advanced critical thinking skills and ability to follow directions. Cannons were dangerous. They'd blown his grandfather's right arm off. Nevertheless, Victoria decided to think like Victor would, how a man would, given such a great opportunity to learn the cannons was present. It was yet another opportunity to learn about the more dangerous part of being a royal naval sailor. He'd rise up in ranks by the time he became an expert in loading the cannons and cleaning them up. He could probably reach his arm in there all the way to clean, unlike the other men, who had more muscle and fat tissue on them.

"Are you having second thoughts, Victor?"

The young male snapped to attention and fumbled for the last pair of bed sheets.

Victor cleared his throat, "No, of course not. I'll be out there as soon as I'm finished here."

Peter gave Victor a thumbs up. "'Atta boy! Now, hurry, up to forecastle deck! The captain doesn't like to be kept waiting!"

"Of course, of course!"

Victor hurriedly finished folding the last pair of bed sheets. He adjusted his hat a bit to make sure it was still on firmly and adjusted the gauze around his chest to make sure nothing slipped. Victor left for the forecastle deck accordingly and was greeted with quite a different atmosphere than usual. The captain's eye was peering through a spyglass and Victor turned his head out on the water. There was a dot in the distance, a black dot. The captain squinted hard, as if squinting would make the black dot larger, not that Victor really knew what the captain was looking at. Captain Howard Marlowe, an astounding and efficient leader, though a bit of a bully too, if Victor had anything to say about it. Howard shoved the spyglass Victor's way and Victor stared at the object for a few moments, uncertain what he was to do next before Howard shook it at him.

"Take it, boy!"

Victor immediately grasped the spyglass in his hand and Howard turned to the naval commander, one rank below him. Victor stared at the leather bound spyglass in his hand. The golden rim and etchings on the leather made it a beauty, though Victoria wondered if that was Victor talking or her own head. She couldn't quite tell who she was anymore after eight long weeks away from home. Her mind was muddled with nonsense she'd tried hard not to forget because she needed the information if she wanted to continue sailing towards Jamaica. Victor admired the spyglass in his hand and took his own gander at the dot in the distance. It was faint and seemed to be moving rather... quickly. Victor blinked and took a step forward. What was it? Some sort of boat? It was heading towards them. Victor squinted his eyes and the outline of the dot became more clear... disturbingly fast.

"A ship!" Victor suddenly announced. "A ship is headed this way towards us!"

"What the- boy! Let me see that!" Howard inhaled sharply and snatched the spyglass from Victor's hand. "Well, God damn us all. It's a blood ship! Get the men ready, we don't know if they're a threat or not. Victor, keep an eye on this ship. No training right now. Our men need to be on alert. Can do you that for me?" Howard's tone was stern.

"Yes, sir!" Victor immediately complied and Howard gave the spyglass back. "Up the nest you go!" Howard barked and Victor immediately climbed, his dexterity and agility like that of a monkey swinging from tree branch to tree branch. Victor settled in the crow's nest with his spyglass in hand as the ship moved closer and closer. His heart rate grew louder with each passing second. Hopefully, it was just a merchant ship or someone simply passing through. The flag of the other ship was raised and Victor swallowed hard as he noticed the colors bright as a day.

Oh no.

"Pirates!" he cried out. Victor had never seen them in a person, he'd never approached them before. An abrupt movement in the side of the ship caught Victor off guard. A canon ball.

"They're attacking! Victor! Get down from there!"

Victor scrambled to reach safety down below. He was handed a pistol and immediately taught how to use it spur of the moment.

"You pull this back and pull this trigger! Like this!"

Howard aimed at one of the enemy swinging over on a rope and a shot rang in the air. The enemy immediately fell with a loud splash and cries of war, blood curdling screams. Something splattered on her face and Howard disappeared into the fray. Victoria panicked and ran, searching for safety. She didn't know how to use a flintlock pistol, much less fight during war. Her head darted left and right as she slipped down below, away from the guns and swords. Her father... Where was her father? She couldn't go back up though.

Victoria swallowed hard, uncertain of his life's decisions in the moment, uncertain what Victor would do. Her mind boggled with fear and anxiety as she heard men yelling from afar. They were handling the canons, however, Victoria was only interested in saving her own life. She didn't want to fight, she didn't want to die. Victoria stumbled into the storage room near the bow of the ship and found a hiding place among heavy crates and barrels of dried fruit and preserved meat.

"Please God, please have mercy on my father and I. Please," she whispered and bit her lip as she slipped into the shadows.

Name: Lauren "Lidiya" Kazanezsky
Age: 29
Gender: Female
School and Class of Magic: Psionics — Class of Illusion – Novice
Occupation: Thief/Car Hijacker/Wanted Criminal, Expert Botanist, Survivalist, and Environmentalist

Skills:
Lock Picking — Lauren is quite adept at picking a lock. Her skill has helped her find simple supplies, such as water, canned vegetables, and blankets where no one else may think to look. Nine years of experience and counting. Her Uncle endorsed this sadly.
Survival — She can attend to the most basic necessities of human life through nature, which includes building temporary shelter, finding and purifying water, food preservation, among other basic skills needed to survive in the wild. Taught by her Father.
First Aid — CPR Certified for adults and children, as well as having a deep, thorough understanding of what a general first aid kit entails and how to use the instruments and various creams inside has helped Lauren in the long run. She learned this side of medicine from her Uncle.
Scavenging — Lauren is quite adept at rummaging and locating the last of pre-expired medicine and over the counter drugs sometimes needed for headaches, pain relief, etc. She's been doing it for the last five years with tips from her Uncle.
Close Quarter Combat Expert – Eight years of martial arts training has taught Lauren how to bust someone's nose or knock them unconscious if the time ever comes. She also knows how and where to strike an opponent with a knife, if need be, courtesy of her parents.
Farming and Gathering – Homeschooled in botany and environmentalism from her parents, mostly her Mother though, has allowed Lauren to hone and apply expert skills in farming and gathering seeds for various vegetables and fruits.

Equipment:
Water Canteen x1
Box of 20 Matches x3
Thick Rope x1
Pack of Clean Clothes x2
Thick Blanket x1
Granola Bars x10
Plants and Herbs Book x1
Basic First Aid Kit x1
Natural Soaps x5
Half-Empty Tylenol x1
Lock Picks x12
Knives (Clip Point, Caping, and Skinning) x3

Personality:
Lauren is confident her head is screwed on right; she knows exactly what she does and she knows that it's wrong. It's not rocket science to her; she has to survive though, so that's what she does. Lauren is extremely resourceful and has felt guilt for what she's done, however, it's becoming more of a commodity than a straight act of non-violence. She's blunt and out for herself; she takes pride in what she does and is very much out for herself, or selfish as many like to call the wanted criminal.

Background: Lauren grew up in Providence, a cultist society that kept strict tabs on their citizens and the holy spread of religion. She was forced to practice for survival and her family made a decent show out of it so much that the religion became reality for the quaint family. Lauren's younger years were trifle with rebellion and the intense need to beat up older boys if they messed with her girlfriends. At eleven years old, Lauren got a taste of true danger and Rain, her brother-like friend, got harsh.

Lauren and her family later disappeared from that side of Providence. She was homeschooled in real life applications of botany and environmentalism. Her heart and mind, however, was gradually growing apart from the religion she'd grown up with. She was becoming her own person and needed that sense of freedom to be who she wanted to be, not what someone else dictated. Her parents sent her off to her uncle in Grimm's Folly when she was nineteen to give her a chance at finding a career, or at the very least, surviving on a less "strict" territory.

Although she had her uncle on her side to guide her and give her shelter, Lauren did what she could to get through the day. She had no purpose, no friends. Her days were spent trying to pick locks without much success and unlocking car doors to steal anything of value. Lauren often came home with bruises and cuts, so much so that her uncle got tired of it and taught Lauren how to use the different items in a first aid kit and perform CPR on adults and young children, should the need ever arise.

At twenty five, she moved completely on her own to Breez and to say the least, her reputation isn't the greatest, but she's never been caught either. Most don't know who she is, they just know there's some crazy lady who's a gem at stealing things and picking the locks on cars. Who knows what's next for Lauren? She sure as heck is not interested in being a slave to the cult or behind bars, and the only time she gets involved in something is if she gets a fair share of the coin.

Relationships: Rain — Brother-like friend, very protective of her. The two left on a sour note and Lauren's moved on from the past, hopefully.

Other: None

Davina

Age
167 (21)

Gender
Female

Occupation
Guardian of Asfian

Race
Kelevian

Species
Mystic

Abilities
  • Glamour — Davina always appears human, unless she voluntarily allows another person and/or creature to see her true, ethereal form. The person and/or creature she allows to see her true form is forbidden from speaking of her ethereal form to anyone, essentially what is a magical vow of silence. If that vow is somehow broken, Davina's ancestors come to haunt, and eventually, kill that person who broke the vow, as a way to help keep Davina's race steady and continuously populating because they are the primary guardians of the world, Asfian, and are endangered.
  • Ethereal Form — Her most powerful form in supernatural condition. Appears as a small ball of pale blue light that illuminates 60ft even in the darkest tunnels. Extremely bright and blinding to many.
  • Shapeshifting — Davina can shapeshift into any kind of animal she wishes, though nothing larger than an elephant, for comparison's sake. She has most commonly shapeshifted into an elk, owl, rabbit, horse, and deer. A drake and kraken are examples of tough animals to shapeshift into, primarily because of their tough, scaly skin and elephant-size appearance. She can hurt her body and organs during the process if she is not careful with shapeshifting into large animals because it is agonzing to do so.
  • Mana Manipulation — ???
  • Energy Healing — Davina can transfer her energy to another in order to heal wounds from a minor to somewhat moderate form. Minor wounds are quick heals and require very minuscule energy. With moderate wounds, she needs to put more of her life force energy in and can be exhausted after the transfer. Food, sleep, and meditation are Davina's main ways of restoring lost energy. Severe wounds can leave her feeling fatigued and depressed for a few days, which sometimes can lead to black outs, and rarely, comas.

Skills

  • Perceptive — ???
  • Archery — ??
  • Bluff — ??
  • Arcane — A wide, expert knowledge of magic in the world of Asfian, specializing in her homeland of Kelos, where mana and energy magic is brewed to its full potential.
Weaknesses
  • Silver and Shiny Objects — Her hoard is very special to her and it's filled with tons of silver and other objects polished to perfection. Most would call it junk or crap though. Perhaps she's just a bit too sentimental.
  • Physically Fragile — While she is nimble and lean, she cannot go up against muscle or those with high strength index. She will be crushed.
  • Iron Brand — A brand from iron on her right shoulder blade can mark her as the brander's slave and/or servant forever.
  • Big Bodies of Water — She cannot swim in any body of water. It's worse if her wings get drenched in the ocean or on a stormy day. Her wings would be useless traveling in the rain and would need to dry off in the natural sunlight.
  • Lying too often — ??

Zahara Trevelyan
"No man will break my spirit."

Personal
Name and Title: Lady Zahara Trevelyan
Date of Birth (Age): First Spring 116 BC (27)
Height (Metric): 5'3" (160 cm)
Weight (Metric): 129 lb (59 kg)
Body Build: Athletic
Sexuality: Unknown

Appearance
Zahara has long, wavy blonde hair that's usually pulled away from her face in braids. She stands about an inch taller than average height for women and has blue eyes. Her skin is fair and she wears her heart on her sleeve. Zahara typically wears the teal and white colors of her house and around her neck is an old-fashioned silver chain necklace with the Trevelyan animal sigil given to her by her mother before she passed away. It has always been a constant reminder that there is hope, no matter how small it may seem.

Attributes
Loyalty: House Trevelyan, House Bolton
Occupation: Lady of the Manor, Archer (Freelance)
Religion: The Faith of the Seven, The Old Gods (Former)
Ambition: To prove herself in a man's world.

Personality
There's a sense of dignity and innocence that often radiates from Zahara. She enjoys lady like customs and traditions, such as dance, sewing, and poetry. Zahara doesn't get angry easily and tends to go the diplomatic route (usually), before any other route. Men have mocked her for putting herself in such a position of power and have often talked her down for it. She's always tried to take it like a man would; to fight her bruised ego and stand up for herself instead of letting others get to her. As a result, Zahara can become impulsive.

She's hardly what one could consider cunning, but she feels she's quite adept in forming alliances and delegating tasks without lying. Her brash, talkative personality, however, also tends to be her greatest weakness. Zahara is more than willing to put herself out there without any care in the world. She's a fierce individual; when someone challenges her, she won't back down without a fight. She's also protective of her siblings and would rather take blame for something they did and bear the emotional baggage so they don't have to.

History
Zahara was regal and disciplined as a child. She enjoyed sewing, playing the piano, and other feminine customs. She loved to read and write; She often wrote poetry and read the astrology textbooks in the library for hours. As her mind expanded, so did her heart. She was compassionate and loyal to her extended family and anyone who came to visit the Trevelyan house on account of visiting or some other reason. Zahara was a bit rude and disrespectful to Amber, however, because she was envious of her position in future leadership.

When she was fourteen years old, she began to mirror Amber. She viewed her older sister as a role model despite their rocky relationship in her younger years. Combat training, however, did not come easily to Zahara as it had Amber. She gave up on trying to impress her parents and reverted back to her old ways. Chess, diplomatic endevours; Zahara wasn't suited to the life of martial status. She revered in their advisor's work after hearing some controversy from other families about their unconventional customs.

Determined to prove them wrong, she went along on a mission in secret and shadowed their advisor from afar. That was the first time she experienced reality as a young lady, but it wouldn't be the last. Zahara was eager to travel on future diplomatic missions, however, her first trip didn't end well. As she'd gone away without supervision to a meeting restricted only to the Trevelyan advisor, she was given a stern, yet emotional lecture by her father. He expected her to stay put, but Zahara wasn't interested.

Zahara disobeyed her father more than enough times. She got sexually involved with their advisor and he agreed to her terms, so long as she shadowed him from afar and didn't interrupt or speak out. For a while, Zahara got what she wanted without getting caught. She was quick on her toes and good at keeping their little secret. The longer it went on, the more Zahara allowed to let her emotions get in the way of doing her duty as a lady. The last time she saw the advisor was when a diplomatic conversation reached the point of escalation.

After the meeting ended, Zahara knew she'd gone too far and to make things worse, her father understood that as well. She was placed under house arrest and forbidden to see any men for a prolonged period of time. Strict regulations were put on place; she always had one of her Father's guards by her side, calculating where she was at different times of the day. There came a time later when her punishment was lifted. As much as one might expect her to be content, Zahara was far from ecstatic.

She gradually let go of the tragedy and found herself satisified with a daily ride and the heat of the sun. A few months later, she would learn how to wield the bow and arrow and eventually, struggle through a few lessons about how to use a dagger in close quarter combat. Over time, she became more mature and less complacent, thus, Zahara was offered a chance to attend a diplomatic mission once more. It went as well as could be expected from others; jabs and mockery, but her calm demeanor was impeccable.

Zahara kept her troubles to herself, but the jabs and mockery escalated. A woman doing a man's job; a woman who had no right to step forward and offer meaningless words as a solution to a problem. She'd already done enough back then; She had no right to the job of a diplomat now. Zahara quietly began to question her ability to make important decisions for her family in her own form; She's tried to send men in her place, but her father always felt that it'd be a sore mistake to back down. He believes in her strength, but she's never understood why.

Skills and Gear

Skills and Various Traits:
Zahara is extremely proficient in a recurve bow and arrow, able to concentrate and deliver accuracy over long distance targets. She's had quite a bit of experience in striking a moving object; Zahara's often brought out on hunting trips to help catch food year round. Her stealth and determination also helps her to aim.

Other than the bow and arrow, Zahara hasn't undertaken a large series of martial training because of her lack of motivation and hidden self-doubt in handling weapons made for men. She has, however, has learned a few basic lessons for close quarter combat with a dagger but that's about the extent of her martial training.

It seems she's more content with poetry, embroidery, and other feminine hobbies; things she's been doing for the duration of her whole life. She's proficient in horseback riding and has often been told by other men in court that she's right where she belongs; hidden away from the rest of the world where it's safe.

Weapons
Name: Recurve Bow & Arrow
Description: She picked it up one day out of agitation and started firing arrows all over the place. It wasn't a savory situation, but a man on the field who held high respects to the Trevelyan house offered to teach her how to shoot one properly and she accepted. Zahara has been practicing bow and arrow for over nine years now.
Appearance:

The bow itself is extremely worn out. There are scratch marks all over it here and there and the golden lacquer (as well as the brown lacquer itself) that was once carved on it has dulled. The bow string is falling apart, but is still decent. It could be in better shape if she brought it to a bowyer but she doesn't want to get it "fixed" because it holds sentimental value.

Armour and Attire
Name: Hunting Outfit
Description: Given as a gift for her 21st birthday. A set of leather armor, bracers, boots, and what not to compliment the look of a hunter. The whole package and loved dearly by Zahara.
Appearance:

The pictures are for inspiration. The attire and armour is typical of a hunting outfit, yet fit for a woman. Main colors are brown and dark teal to signify the color of House Trevelyan. Corset, bracers, and any kind of padding needs are made out of a strong, durable brown leather. Blouse is dark teal.
