Karikawa school

Vince was kind of suprised as to either how ignorant or gutsy this kid was. Either way, he was alright. "New mall..? They finally got that thing finished? I'm down if you guys are alright with me tagging along." Walking over to an open spot on the blanket he sits down and finally sees the kid's face. "I'm guessing you're the new blood..? As you may have gathered from cheery Takara, I'm Vince." He flashes the kid a genuine smile.

Kibo looked up at the boy, it seemed he knew the girls. The boy looked up at him as he introduced himself. He held out his bandaged up hand "Hi, my name is Kibo" he smiled back at the boy. From the way he acted now, it seemed he was completely oblivious to his early behavior. He then turned back to face the girls, "Where is the new mall?" he asked them.

The atmosphere in the nurse's office was serene and tranquil. The nurse herself was not in, but there was a presence within either way. The room was clean and well lit, and one of the windows were cracked open so the warm summer breeze could get into the room, making the curtains sway gently and bringing forth the distant sounds of chatter and laughter. One of the beds were occupied, the covers pulled up so they were hiding away the lump under them. This lump in question however, was stirring, as the noises from the outside were forcing it to come back into the books of living from its two hours long lasting coma. And thus the covers were thrown away, and the person under them sat up; a girl, rubbing her eyes with a slight frown. She was East-Asian with a petite build and long dark brown, almost black locks of hair cascaded down past her shoulder blades, now slightly messy from the earlier sleep. She had an olive tan complexion, and two dark brown orbs for eyes shaped like almonds, and like her hair, were almost black in color until the light hit them from the correct angle. Their gaze was little disoriented as she was obviously trying to recollect where she was, the naturally long dark lashes fluttering as she looked around and came into the conclusion that no, this was not, in fact, her room.

Mei Akiyama was a girl with low blood pressure; she was a terrible morning person, and after pulling an all-nighter to catch up with her math studies, she had been having a terrible head ache since the first class. Which is why she had come to the nurse to beg for some painkillers and a bed to rest for a while. She had trusted the nurse to wake her up, but it seemed she had decided to let the girl sleep past few of her classes. With a quiet groan, Mei threw the rest of the covers off her and swung her legs off the bed, and started pushing her feet into her uniform shoes with a groggy coordination of a sleep deprived zombie. What was the point of her pulling an all-nighter in the first place if she was going to sleep past her lessons during the day anyway? She did not care if the nurse thought she was being lenient on her for letting her sleep, this was a serious matter and her future was at stake in here. Deducing from the sounds coming outside, it was lunch break. That meant she had slept past at least two classes. Now one would have been still somewhat fine, but two... Two was starting to be irresponsible. It was not that Mei was exactly very studious girl, but she did have ambition that drove her forward. She had subjects she struggled in, like math which was her worst enemy, but did her best to keep up with them. She was slightly above average with her marks, and all for sheer willpower.

Brushing down her skirt which's hem was flirting with the length of her long black socks that stopped in her mid-tigh, Mei picked up her school bag and the blazer set aside on a chair, and stopped by the mirror to brush her fingers through her hair and settle her bangs before leaving the room. Thankfully she had no pillow marks in her face or any dried drool. Her shirt was a little crumbled, but that was about it. With a sigh, she pulled her blazer on again and freed her long locks from under it as she walked onward in the hallway. Now that she realized, it was rather quiet despite being lunch hour. It seemed that since the weather was good, most kids had made their way outside to enjoy their lunch. And speaking of lunch...

Mei's stomach growled angrily, making the girl almost double over.

"...Ah, hell." She mumbled as she regained her composure again. Thankfully she had a packed lunch with her, and like the other youths before her, she decided also to eat it outside and try to suck in as much of the sun's rays she could. Maybe the D-vitamin it offered would help her with waking up.

Once outside, Mei chose the closest free bench. Setting her bag on it after sitting down, the girl rummaged through it to find her lunch box and pulled it to her lap. After opening it, she was picking up things to chew on with her chopsticks, enjoying the savory taste of eggrolls and rice. Now that she felt like she was not going to starve to death, she let her eyes wander. She observed people in silence, wondering where her classmates had went to, too lazy to try and find them now. She could eat alone for once, it was fine. A little lonely, but she did occasionally enjoy the silence.

Jutting a hand into his bag Vince pulls out a can of what appears to be sone kind of tea. Shakes Kibo's hand and pops the tab on his drink. "Kibo huh? That's a new one for me." He smiles jokingly looking at him, but not facing him. He looks over at Takara and squints slightly. "Did you do something with your hair Taka?"

Takara shook her head slightly. "No, its the same as its always been." She brushed some of her silver hair behind her shoulder."

Vince looks a little unhappy but cheers back up. "Oh, might just be the way the light is hitting it. Looks good today though!" A grin is painted on his face, but is replaced by the can of tea rather quickly. Looking over at Kibo, Vince scratches his head. "The mall is not too far from here. A short walk... If that." He shrugs.

Kibo shook the boys hand, then went back to drinking. He listened closely to the small conversation. The boy looked at Vince then at Tamara, the back at Vince. "sounds okay" Kibo said. " But I won't be able to hang out of very long, have to help my dad unpack" kibo told them, finishing his drink as he did.

(I don't really think there's anything to know, though parkpyro would be the best to answer that.)

Mina pouted as she stared at Takara and Vince, it was obvious they liked each other but they still didn't confess to each other. It wasn't fair, Mina wanted affection from someone and while she didn't mind the two liking each other she wanted to hog all the attention for herself. But, she sighed and looked back over at Kibo. "Oh yeah, you're new so you probably got things to do at home. Well, hang out with us as long as you can today, we're not going anywhere. We can hang out again all the other days too!" She shouted out cheerfully to Kibo. She looked over in the distance when she noticed a familiar face sitting on a bench. It was Mei Akiyama but from there it didn't look like the girl was bothered by being alone so Mina just took a look back at Kibo, Takara and Vince as she ate up her lunch that she had bought from the store.

"Unpacking? Damn. I hate unpacking anything. I've moved more than the average human should ever." He brushes his hair out of his eyes and takes another drink. He looks over at Mina, who is looking at him. Vince always thought she was adorable. "How are you today Miss Mina?" He sats with a big smile.

"Yeah, me and my dad have moved a fair few times" he says to Vince. Kibo leans back, placing his hands behind him. His head looking up at the clear sky. He stays there for a second before sitting back up. "But it's mainly my fault we are always moving" the boy says, rubbing his covered knuckles with his hands. He then see's Mina looking over at someone, he follows with his eyes to see a girl sitting alone. He waits to see what Mina does, but she doesn't move so he also stays put. For the moment Kibo will just follow these guys around until he knows his way

Tamara looked at vince. "I wouldn't mind you joining us." She had just finished her food and not a moment too soon. The bell had just wrung for class. "We should get going or none of us are going to the mall."

"Ugh. I fucking hate math... Do you have the notes from yesterday? Your handwriting is so much nicer than the other guy I talked to." He addresses Takara with an eyebrow raised. With an annoyed grunt he stands up and finishes his drink. He crushes the can in his hands and throws it in it's respected bin. He wondered if Takara picked up on his flirting... Or if she just didn't care. Either way...

Takara reached into her bag and pulled out her notebook. She handed it to vince. "If you need help in math. All you gotta do is ask."

Vince took the notebook with a kind smile and a thanks. He wanted to say something... Maybe not... "So... I'd really appreciate some math assistance after we go to the mall today..?" This was going to be a bit more than just helping Vince in math... But she didn't have to know. Especially not in front of these two...

Peace and quiet was nice, especially when Mei still felt a lingering ache in her skull. It was barely noticeable, but enough that she knew that it could come back again later stronger. The two hour nap did her some good along with the painkillers, but what she really needed was a good night's sleep. However, for now it was easy enough to ignore, or more likely to suck it up and having to live with it. She was missing the presence of her friends a little bit though, liking it when they chattered about frivolous things; make up, dramas, the latest hot actor or a popular boy at school. Mei was usually the more quiet one, just sitting there and enjoying their energy and listening to the people around her, occasionally pitching in something if she felt like she had something worthwhile to add into the conversation. However, she rarely did. Mei had not really used make up that much in her life to know about brands or techniques (Hell, how many ways could there be to adding mascara?) as she just rather went all natural, feeling good enough in her own skin. She did not really watch TV, so she did not have much to say about dramas or idols. And when it came to the biggest topic among her classmates, boys and love... That was probably the least she had anything to say on. Mei had never felt like she was particularly interested in romance or felt that attracted to anyone if you did not count brief innocent crushes in the past. The whole topic usually made her a little uncomfortable, which is why she usually made an attempt to change it or excused herself for some kind of legit sounding reason.

Now that she thought about it like this, sitting alone and eating her lunch... She did not really have much in common with her current clique at all.

The girl set her chopsticks aside, mulling this sudden realization over in her head. Mei had kind of drifted into the current girl group by accident when the school year had kicked into motion, and been stuck with them ever since. Sure, she liked their energy, but... She wanted more depth. Conversation partners that valued topics that actually mattered more than how to apply your lipstick correctly. The friendships she had formed were shallow, and none of them actually knew anything about her, simply because they did not care enough to get to know her further than the surface. What she wanted was something genuine; people to goof around with, laugh until your stomach hurts, share secrets with, talk through the night on the phone, go to buffets to eat with until they would feel sick while not giving a damn about calories and then eat some more, stay out way too late together and doing crazy things just for the hell of it and give their parents small heart attacks. The casual stuff, just being carefree and stupid like youngbloods her age were supposed to be, live like there was no tomorrow and the only thing that would matter would be now.

The bell rang, snapping Mei out of her thoughts and making her jump ever so slightly. She packed away her empty lunch box and picked up her bag, brushed down her skirt and rolled back her shoulders. A group at the nearby tree caught her eye, and the dark brown orbs followed the movements of the four people; two girls and two boys. Three of them she already knew which were Vince, Takara and Mina. However, she had never seen the other boy, covered in bandages like he was trying to cosplay a mummy. Due to her sleeping through the classes, she had missed the introduction of their new classmate, and thus wondered if the black haired kid was someone from another class she simply had not paid attention to before. Either way, all four of them looked like they got along well. Something she envied silently from the sidelines.

Realizing she was staring at them, Mei turned her gaze sharply away from them and turned on her heels, starting to make her way towards the classroom in slight embarrassment. She seriously hoped that she did not just look as much of a creep back there as she feared she did.

takara made her way into the classroom, taking her seat by the window. she pulled out another note book. she copied her notes so her friends could look at her notes.

Again, there was Vince flirting with Takara, if that girl didn't see it yet Mina was going to have to intervene to get her two friends together. So the new guy moved a lot, that still didn't answer what she was going to answer next. But, that question was going to have to wait when she heard the bell and everyone was starting to get up to head back for class since Takara was right. She quickly finished up her last of her food and put it away. She stood up to walk with them back to class. She looked over at Kibo, she wanted to know about those bandages all over him but it was something she could ask later. As they were walking by, Mina looked over at Mei again. She could have sworn that maybe the girl seemed a bit upset but that wasn't something she could think about long since they had to get back to class. Maybe she would try and talk to Mei later, but she knew the girl had other friends, friends who wouldn't be into Mei talking to a girl like Mina who hang out with people like Takara and Vince and now the new guy who had bandages all over him for some reason. She headed for class, taking a seat back down and letting out a sigh as she continued to think about all the things she was pondering on her way back.

Kibo noticed that everyone had began to get up. It was clear that it was time for lessons to start, so he followed. The boy got up off the ground and began to walk back, he grabbed all his stuff before he left. He followed Mina back into the class room. Once inside he sat down in his knew seat. Lessons were about to start, it looked like maths was next.

Vince took a detour and arrived into class a minutr before being late. He hated math. He'd usually just leech off of someone else who enjoyed the subject. Takara was who he leeched off of. She did alot of work and Vince would pick up the aftermath of it. Hopefully she didn't mind... He glances over at the new kid. He really was something. Sort of weird, but pretty chill overall. Hope he enjoyed it here so far...

Mina came into the classroom, taking a seat back at her spot. Though she didn't feel like paying much attention to the teacher, so her notes were filled with little doodles that she had been doing throughout the lecture. Besides, she didn't need to worry about school work and her grades at the moment, they were fine as they were. She simply waited for school to finally be over so they could all hang out again at the mall and get to know each other better. Plus, there was things she still wanted to know that she didn't get to ask.
