Juvenile Rehabilitation Academy (A My Hero Academia based RP)

All quirks, as physical abilities, have their limits. It's like working muscles, in order to make them stronger, you push them and they tear, growing back stronger. So, there must limitations.

Ok lets say he can go up to 30 mph for up to an hour straight but anything over that is like 4 mins. For now he should get stronger and able to reach higher speeds for a longer duration once he trains of course

I'd say 40 mph for an hour straight then after that it'll be like he goes running. He has to measure his stamina and push himself farther to build his quirk's muscle. If he becomes tired (or out of breath in running's case) then he has to slow down and take a break before going again

It'll give him a chance to increase his speed and how long he can maintain said speed without getting tired

That sounds good to me

Hirayama, Tatsuo (Hero Name: Metalman)

Age:
32
Date of birth: March 18, 1987
Gender: MAN!
Nationality and native language: Japanese

Quirk:
Metal Body

A quirk that alters the form of their body into any kind of metal, This enhances both Tatsou's defensive and offensive attributes in combat depending on the metal he is using. The stronger the metal, the better his defense and offense become. And just like other quirks, Metal Body has a few weaknesses. First, the stronger the metal used, the more energy he needs to use to maintain this form. Depending on the metal and physical body, even the strongest metal will make Tatsou very slow, which is why he needs a balanced metal when going up against a tough foe. And lastly, depending on how much of his quirk he used, he would need to consume a bunch of minerals to keep himself from being deprived of nutriments.

Subject Teaching: Physical Education, Law
Pro Hero Experience: Been on the pro hero job for about 7 years. While not a popular hero compared to Encore, he does get the job done, even if he doesn't listen to his teammate's order a lot of the time. Still gets chewed out for his actions on the job every now and then.

Height: 5'9
Weight: 195 (Lots of muscles BTW)
Hair Color: White
Eye Color: Yellow

Personality:
Tatsou is a very strict mentor, even demeaning others as a way to push them to their limits. While he shows his aggressive side quite a bit, he is all about reforming bad people and giving them a second chance in life due to him being a reformed human being, if they deserve it. For those he despises for their specific crimes or actions in the past (may it be against him or someone else), he'll make sure to make their live a miserable hell while attempting to reform them and he'll make sure to remind them every waking breath.

But just because he shows his strict side doesn't mean he has his soft sides. Those who complete his tasks with no problem will get a nice compliment from him. And even help them with a request if he likes them enough. But those he hate, he will give them no compliments and would ignore any request given to him, even if they impress him. Hell, just asking him for physical training would be a plus for him since he enjoys training others when they want to improve. But don't ask him if he hates you or prepare for a long long list of exercise to do that will make you faint or leave you out of energy when done.

Overall, on the job he's definitely on the aggressive side, being demeaning and rough on everyone, but he isn't just a complete jerk, he does have his soft side from time to time and will show it if people follow what he says with no problem. While on his days off, he does enjoy a bit of solitude and even goes out to the park for a nice change in scenery. He also doesn't mind getting to know others, assuming he isn't dealing with someone he hates. He also likes Heavy Metal because he's METAL!

Basically, just don't get on his bad side and you'll be alright...Hopefully.

Background:

Tatsou was never close to his parents as they always fight over the smallest things, may it be about the house's condition, Tatsou or even their attitudes in general. It got worse as their parents had a nasty fight one day that almost involved the death of Tatsou's mother. Since then, the two were divorced while the father was in jail and Tatsou and their mother started to live a better life. A few years later, Tatsou's mother met and man and got remarried. The man also had a daughter close to Tatsou's age. At first, he didn't really care for his sister in law. But after seeing her try to take care of his mother and Tatsou, he started to see her as a dear little sister to him and the two became close.

One day, Tatsou and his sister in law went to the bank so that Tatsou could withdraw money for his mother. His sister was asked by a nice gentleman to help them out with something while Tatsou was busy with the teller. After finishing his business, he notices his sister in law missing, worried about what happened to her, he went outside in a panic to look for her. He spent an hour looking for her, even telling others to keep an eye out for her. And then he found her, being raped by four older gentleman in an abandoned building that was wore down for years. One of the gentleman taunted Tatsou and then pulled out a gun and shot his sister in law right in the head, immediately killing her. Tatsou, now shocked in despair as his only close sibling for whom he cared for, was killed in front of her, lost himself and went into a flying rage, killing all four of the culprits with ease. If it wasn't for his quirk, he would've died alongside his sister in law.

It wasn't long before he was arrested for being involved in the crime. But instead of being taken to jail, he was approached by someone. He was a general of a well known military force who learned out the truth of what occurred that day thanks to a well known detective. The general offered to help reform him and be a future pro hero in order to avoid going to jail for murder, of course the general had to pull a bunch of strings to get away with it, but Tatsou, still gutted after losing his sister in law, decided to accept the man's offer, hoping to help him escape his dreadful past.

For a year, he spent his time being trained by the general with his challenging training exercise and learning various things about the law and hero stuff while dealing with his strict commands. Everyday, his thought lingers on the fateful day that he lost his sibling, as its his fuel to keep on going to improve himself, but he finds boxing and the amount of exercise a nice stress relief for him. Once his year long reformation was done, he joined as a pro hero under the name Metalman. While he did his work flawlessly and with pride, the other pro heroes found him to be lacking in teamwork and going on his own a lot of the times even when told specific instructions.

He continued his work as a pro hero for some time until he was offered and chance to teach at the Juvenile Rehabilitation Academy, where small time troublemakers go to be reformed into decent human beings. Seeing as he was reformed himself in the past, Tatsuo wanted to give others the chance to earn their freedom if they can prove to change their old behaviors. Of course he was doing a lot better too, as he doesn't focus on his past much anymore and actually giving a damn for some of the people he'd worked with in the past, of course his rigorous classes and his arrogant attitude was noticed by the staff, but they needed someone who can push the other students to surpass their limits in order to grow as decent human beings so they decided not to take action against him. All seemed to be going well for him too...

...That is until he notices a student with a crime that would open up the old wounds of his past.
