25 years ago the Justice League fought their final battle with Darkseid and his army. Together with the other Heroes of Earth, they forced Darkseid back to Apocolypse. The massive army he brought with him was decimated by the end of the battle along with his Generals. His army wasn't the only ones facing casualties for Darkseid himself was substantially wounded at the hands of Superman at the cost of his life. He died in the center of Metropolis. He was given a golden monument to represent his sacrifice.

(Batman closing his long time friend's eyes.)
"Rest easy Clark. You did it, You beat him back." - Batman

After the battle, the league disbanded a few years later and went their separate ways. Some went on to have families while other plunged themselves into their work. That was over two decades ago and Darkseid and his army of Parademons have recovered. He plans to return soon and exact his revenge on Superman's world. This time he's not planning to rule it, but take it off the Galactic map. He plans to use the destruction of Earth to mark his return. In order to stop him, a new team most be formed. A new Justice League is needed to stop him before everything is lost.

"Ready the first invasion force!"

The league satellite is still in orbit waiting to be used again. Cyborg has been living on the satellite awaiting the return of Darkseid and his army. One day he heard a noise. Parademons were speaking of his return and the invasion of Earth. This was the news he waited so long for, the return of Darkseid. He had been moderating the Earth as well keeping an eye out for the best heroes he could fine. He sent out probes to contact them and provide them with transportation the satellite.

Key points
Superman's Death and After:
The JL's final battle ended in Metropolis. Superman died that day after defeating Darkseid. He was given a funeral a week later and a gold monument was made to represent his sacrifice. It is still common to sport his symbol and even more so since his death. Superman has been the inspiration for many heroes after his death.

Original Justice League's Age:
When the league fought Darkseid, they were in their 30's. 25 years has passed since then and the group hasn't been together in 20 years. The disbandment of the Justice League was the greatest shock of the decade. It was the equivalent of United Nations falling apart.

Superhero Allies: Relic is largely self-taught, though he did receive his hand-to-hand combat training from Rex Mason, the first Hourman. It is worth noting that he's not on very good terms with the most superheroes, often being seen as unpredictable. In the words of the original Batman, "He's a hell-raising cowboy who thinks he's funny, but at least he's not Guy Gardner,"

Name: Ryan Abel, AKA Relic

Age: 29

Gender: Male

City: Relic doesn't stick to any one city in particular, though he does have a couple safe-houses scattered across the globe, the most prominent of which is is Star City.

Race: Caucasian

Hair Color: Brown

Eye color: Blue

Height and Weight: 6'0" and 180 lbs.

Personality: Ryan was too young to remember the traumatic experiences of his youth, so it doesn't have much impact on who he is as a person. He absolutely adores everything about being a superhero, and even when he's on the losing side of a battle, it is clear to all that he's having an excellent time of himself. While he's not the most popular of superheroes, that's okay by him. He's mostly in it for the excitement. He's a superhero because it's what he wants to be, not to attract followers or right some tremendous wrong. Because of that, he doesn't take himself as seriously as most superheroes. He doesn't stick to fiercely too any particular code or creed, preferring to do what he feels is right at a given time. This has put him with odds with some of the more law-oriented superheroes, such as the Bat-family, but his devil-may-care attitude and open distrust of all ideologies hasn't steered him wrong yet.

History: Ryan was born in uptown New York. The son of an archaeology professor and a talented scientist for a pharmaceutical company, his parents weren't fantastically wealthy, but they had enough money to provide a quiet, comfortable life for their son. They were a classic American family, complete with a loving dog. That is, until Ryan's fourth birthday, when several of Darkseid's troops burst through the walls of the movie theater where he was having his birthday. While they slaughtered everyone in the theater, Ryan's father sacrificed himself to buy time for Ryan's mother to take him into a small utility closet, where they hid. As the sounds of screaming escalated, and the conflict grew closer and closer, they cowered together, horrified of the extraterrestrial invaders. Then, everything went silent, and the door slowly creaked open. Standing there, fists covered in otherworldly blood, was his a close friend of his father, "Uncle" Rex Mason. With nothing more than his fists, and a single pill of his Miraclo formula, he'd saved their lives. He took them back to their home, where he explained that he'd been a superhero for several years, before the complications of the job caught up with him, and he eventually quit. He stuck close to the family after that, knowing that his powers would wear off in an hour, and he'd wind up just another life lost to the invaders from Apocalypse.

Rex stayed on to help raise the child, in some part due to his own guilt about being unable to save more people that day. They managed to live quietly, with his mother returning to her job shortly after the incident, though she never was quite the same, and never loved again. As he grew up, Ryan loved hearing the stories about Rex's adventures as Hourman, and his time with other superheroes, and would always try to get his "Uncle" to teach him the secrets of the Miraclo formula. Of course, he never could convince the man. As he aged, his interest in superheroes never faded, developing hand-in-hand with his other passions for science and history. He excelled in academic fields, proving himself to be a prodigy in most areas of study. When he was sixteen, his mother brought home an artifact that she'd been studying when she wasn't giving archaeology lectures at a nearby college. The artifact was supposedly magical in nature, a small stone head with hollow eyes. The idol reacted to Ryan's magical aura, and bestowed upon him knowledge of the mystic arts. Upon this discovery, he immediately set out to use them to accomplish what he'd always wanted: to become a superhero. His first night out, he managed to subdue two criminals before being shot in the arm and being forced to head home to lick his wounds.

Rex was waiting for him when he got home, and recognized the bullet wound for what it was instantly. At that point, it was clear that Ryan would become a superhero with or without the aging Hourman's help, and so began Ryan's training in hand to hand combat. After a year of training, he'd mastered Rex Mason's bare-knuckle brawling fighting style, and his mentor saw it fitting to teach him how to synthesize his life's work: the super-power granting Miraclo drug. From there, Ryan decided to further his education in the way of superheroics, and left home at 18 to pursue knowledge of all things superhuman. Magic, advanced sciences, meta-gene research, nothing was off the table to the young man who wanted so badly to be a hero. He collected all sorts of items, from the arcane to the alien, advanced earth-tech to extradimensional artifacts of dark and terrible powers. He kept most of these things sealed away in one of several safe-houses and continued on with his adventure. There are of course, some things that he keeps with him frequently, listed under the "weapons" section. These artifacts are broken up into two categories: Major and Minor. Major artifacts are items of significant power, that would make a normal person dangerous enough that a superhero would most likely need to get involved. (Of course, it wouldn't have to be a very good superhero. Most sidekicks would suffice.)

At 22, he encountered his first alien. A young man from Tamaran who'd come to earth seeking a mystical staff that would allow him to control demons, intending to use it to stake his claim as a warlord. They fought each other repeatedly over several weeks, and eventually, Ryan came out on top, though it was the closest fight of his career to date. This sparked something in Ryan: if aliens were this powerful naturally, how could humans hope to compete? How would mankind ever carve out a place for itself amongst the stars when they were so clearly outmatched? He sought to fix that, and continued on his quest to learn everything there was to learn about superpowers, regardless of their source. Now however, he had a new goal: understand how all of it worked together, so that he might make it possible to replicate on a global scale, allowing humanity to be safe from any potential incursions, and hold it's own alongside the rest of the galaxy. He applied scientific principles to the mystic arts, and magical principles to scientific discoveries, meanwhile devouring any meta-gene research he could find, in an attempt to tie it all together and move humanity into a new, super-powered golden age.

Over the years since, he's continued his adventuring, amassing a veritable armory of artifacts from six planets, four dimensions, and dozens of ancient cultures. He's prevented the resurrection of Felix Faust, stopped a demonic invasion of earth from occurring, and established himself as a world-class adventurer and superhero worthy to be counted among earth's greatest champions.

Powers: Ryan possesses a genius-level intellect, rivaling that of many of the DC universe's great scientists, such as Ray Palmer or T.O. Morrow, though his skills are applied to different places. Because he is largely working in unknown territory, he's decided to call himself a "Magic Physicist," as it seemed appropriate. Seeking to study, explain, and understand the magic that many heroes use on a daily basis. He has used his incredible intelligence to design his very own "magitech" devices, which are essentially high-tech devices (mostly throwables, but there are plenty of exceptions) enchanted with mystic energies. These devices are listed as minor weapons, because they aren't anywhere near the power of his major ones, and are largely supportive/utility items. He's also an incredibly competent spellcaster, though his spells need specific components to be prepared in advance of their casting. He's also one of, if not the, foremost expert in ritual magic.

Weapons:
Major:
Miraclo Pills: Small, unmarked, unassuming white pills that would likely be assumed to be Tylenol by the unaware. In truth, these small pills grant an incredible boost in strength, speed, and durability to the imbiber. While they only last an hour, those who swallow a dose can laugh off most small arms fire like they would a Nerf dart, mold steel in their hands like it was clay, and run at speeds of up to 200 mph. Taking more than one a day is incredibly dangerous, and can lead to deadly health complications, such as cardiac arrest. Repeated usage can be addictive, so Ryan is quite careful not to use them unless he's in a bad spot.
Raanian Ray Gun: Acquired as a reward for helping a scientist from the planet Raan get back home to his family, the ray gun is powerful enough to put a hole in just about anything. The weapon fires focused zeta beams, so it doesn't actually destroy anything. Instead, the beam teleports any matter it comes directly into contact with into a random area of the galaxy. Because of this, the weapon is intensely dangerous. So far, Ryan has been unable to find something that he can't shoot a pencil-sized hole through with this gun. It's powerful enough that he's seriously considered removing it from his standard loadout.
Sword of Sin: While he traveled the world, Ryan made many enemies. Among them was the Holy Order of Saint Dumas, who grew angry at how he kept snatching up various symbols of their patron saint, because of their connection to several mystic powers. Eventually, they sent the current Azrael after him. Their battle was a deadly game of cat and mouse all across Paris, with the roles of hunter and hunted constantly swapping between them until, as the dawn broke, Ryan emerged victorious. He claimed his assassin's sword as his own, only to hear it's voice in his mind later that night, calling him sinful. Over the course of a week, he analyzed and deciphered the magic that gave the sword it's might, and managed to bend the holy sword's requirements so that he could wield it. It isn't very happy with him about it, but it responds to his will as well as it did the original Saint Dumas.
Ace of Winchesters: Made during the times of the American frontier, the Ace of Winchesters is a gun made by a gunsmith with immense knowledge of the occult, who sold his soul to create a weapon to kill the horrible things that had been dredged as a result of the pioneer's carelessly manifesting destiny all over the place. It never needs to reload, and those killed by the Ace of Winchesters don't get come back to life...ever. It also grows more powerful based off the evil of the target, to a certain degree. It's been difficult to verify just where it caps out due to a lack of willing evil test subjects, but it's proved excellent for killing demons time and time again.
Minor:
Scepters of Serathos: While Ryan carries two of these scepters (typically tucked into the back of his pants, or inside his sleeves) with him at all times, they are easy to make, and kept in bulk at any of his safehouses. Sticks of C4 coated in wax and engraved in various symbols, they serve as powerful demolition explosives, and Ryan primarily uses them to blow open doors or holes in walls, so that he can enter ancient temples or collapse a tunnel for escape. They are completely inert until armed and detonated with two separate command words. In this case, one must say "Explosive" to arm them, and "Runes" to detonate them.
Pelial's Pant Pockets: Technically, they never belonged to the wizard Pelial, but the enchantment is of her design, so Ryan calls them "Pelial's Pant Pockets" even if they're his pants, and his pockets. The enchantment allows infinite storage within the pockets, so long as a given item can physically fit inside. No matter how much stuff is placed within the pockets, they never gain any weight beyond 1.5 pounds, making it excellent for Ryan to keep his various items inside. From spell components to car keys, you could shake him out for a week and not find everything inside Ryan's pockets.
Idol of Icarus: This small idol is worn as a necklace, sitting comfortably underneath Ryan's shirt. It grant's its wearer the power of flight, but in small increments, never more than 5 minutes at a time. In addition, the longer one stays in the air with the Idol of Icarus, the longer they must wait before they can take off again. In addition, the idol cannot make a person fly faster than they can run, making it less than ideal for long journeys.
Magitech Deployable Data Drive: Kept safely within Pelial's Pockets, these data drives can interface with virtually any system in the known universe, the exceptions being technology from Krypton, New Genesis, and Apokolips. This is because Ryan's never gotten his hands on any technology from those planets, and thus can't configure his devices accordingly. Once they've interfaced with a piece of technology, it will then respond to Ryan's will, allowing him to remotely utilize any of the given device's functions. They aren't perfect, as Ryan has to update them pretty much every day to insure that they can access the most cutting-edge tech, but they're an essential part of his adventuring gear.
Magitech Runic Bindings: When they come in contact with any humanoid creature besides Ryan himself, these golf-ball sized spheres explode into a series of metal cables, plates, and rings that bind the target as if they were in a straitjacket, adjusting for the size of the person. He keeps dozens of them inside Pelial's pockets.
Magitech Mystic Medicine Kit: Because of it's size, Ryan can only keep one on his person at a time, but he owns more than one. About the size of a hardcover novel, the Magitech Mystic Medicine Kit is a single use item that, upon being opened, can be used to completely heal a person of any and all wounds. The more injured a person is, the longer it takes, and an injured person can still die from their wounds during treatment. Once a person is fully healed, it will continue to function for about 10 minutes, bestowing upon the target a valuable healing factor. While it isn't something like that of Lobo or Deathstroke, taking about a full 30 seconds to repair a gunshot wound, it is an invaluable lifesaving tool. It cannot regrow lost body parts, mental damage, or bring a person back from the dead.

Skills: Aside from his immense mystical knowledge, and scientific expertise, Ryan is an excellent cook, and a charmingly bad singer.

Other: His theme song is Hellraiser, by the one and only Ozzy Osbourne.

Superhero Allies: Ray Palmer is her "father" so any of the living original Justice Leaguers she knows them through him.

Name: Rhiannon Palmer (The Atom)

Age: 26

Gender: Female

City: Star City

Race: Human

Hair Color: Black

Eye color: Brown

Height and Weight: 5' 5" 115

Personality: Rhiannon, for someone so intelligent, is actually far from a book worm. She is pretty sarcastic and loves making wise cracks. Rhiannon isn't above making a joke at her own expense even, especially when it comes to her powers she realizes how absurd they are to some. However, all that being said when it comes to her work Rhiannon is 100% all business and firmly believes she is the smartest person in the room in her arena. When it comes to being on a mission she is all business as well. Rhiannon might let out a one liner or joke here and there but she understands the responsibility of being a superhero.

History: Rhiannon Walker's mom Alice worked alongside Ray Palmer at Ivy University and they were very close friends. Rhiannon was very interested in her mom's work and would go with her every chance she could and it was there that she met Ray Palmer. One night when Rhiannon was about five years old the Walker's house was broken into and Rhiannon's parents bought time for Rhiannon to escape with their lives. Her parents had her run to the Palmer's house to get help. By the time help arrived her parents were dead, and it looked as though Rhiannon would go into the Foster Care system. However, Ray and Jean took Rhiannon in and eventually adopted her.

Through the years Rhiannon felt a need to help others. She studied and eventually became a Doctor, but she also wanted to continue her mom's work as a scientist. So, she began studying microbiology at Ivy University, and Rhiannon excelled at it. Rhiannon was interested in the cells reactions to various matter particularly Dwarf Star matter. Dwarf Star matter is not only very unpredictable but, unknown to Rhiannon, the source of The Atom's powers. She was warned by Ray not to deal with Dwarf Star matter. Rhiannon was determined to do this, and she knew where there was a Dwarf Star meteorite locked away in he bio lab. Rhiannon snuck into lab and began to conduct low level experiments while behind an electronic field. Then her life changed forever when a power surge disabled the field and she was directly exposed to the meteorite for several minutes. Rhiannon was able to get away and called Ray but eventually passed out. She woke up in the basement of the Palmer's where she had been out for two days. Ray conducted several tests on her and to his dismay discovered that she had the same powers as him. Ray had kept his secret hidden from her for years, and finally told her everything. Rhiannon wanted to follow in his footsteps, but Ray was against it. He saw Superman die in battle and how being a superhero could screw up one's life. Rhiannon though was determined to use her new found powers to help others, and she was still troubled by her parent's murder. Ray realized that Rhiannon wasn't going to let this go, so he contacted a few of his former Justice League allies to have them train Rhiannon while he modified his old costume for her.

Rhiannon excelled at her training and eventually proved that she had what it took to be a superhero. Rhiannon decided that if she was going to be her own hero she needed to live on her terms, so she moved to Star City and got a job at Middleton University as a professor. At night though Rhiannon becomes The Atom and does what she can to help in the war on crime.

Powers: The ability to shrink down to microscopic size, and the ability to shift her weight so even at (for example) six inches tall she can have weight and strength as though she were her normal size. Can also shift her weight so that she can float on air currents and travel along cell-phone signals.

Weapons: N/A

Skills:
Stealth: With her ability to shrink Atom is the perfect operative for covert activities.

Intelligence: Rhiannon at the age of 26 has two PhDs. One is in microbiology and the other in medical science.

Fighting: Her "father" felt that if she was going to be a superhero she would need to know how to throw a punch and defend herself, but she isn't on-par with Batman however she can hold her own in a fight.

Appearance: Green Lantern.jpg

Superhero Allies: Has trained extensively with various members of the Bat family including Night Wing and Huntress. His mentor is also the Green Lantern John Stewart.

Name: Darrian Semer-Khan

Age: 29

Gender: Male

City: Bludhaven

Race: Persian(Middle Eastern)

Hair Color: Black

Eye color: Natural color is brown, however they appear green due to the power ring.

Height and Weight: 6'2/186 lbs.

Personality: Deeply religious and very devoted to his Islamic faith. He is straddled with insecurities and often doubts himself to the point of indecisiveness. He believes in the equality of all life in the universe and very opposed to fascism and the blocking of free will...his own power of will immovably strong. He is sci-fi nerd himself and thoroughly enjoys old monster movies. He also enjoys hard rock and heavy metal, the works of H.P. Lovecraft and Edgar Allen Poe and his favorite cuisine is Italian.

History: Darrian was born the grandson of a wealthy Caliph in northern Iran. His family had tremendous influence in the regions and people looked to him as almost royalty. He was sent to the best schools and received privileges and an education fit for that of a prince. His father had various business holdings in the U.S. and his biggest investments were in the prestigious Wayne Enterprises, where Darrian's father was on the board of directors. At the age of seven, Darrian and his family moved to the city of Bludhaven, a neighbor to the more prominent Gotham City. Over the ensuing years, Darrian and his siblings became increasingly more Americanized, to the dismay of his parents. Determined to reign in their children, Darrian's parents tried to force radical Islam onto the kids. Intrigued by the faith, but outright rejecting the radical pedigree that was presented, Darrian began to study Islam in earnest and soon devoted his life to core peaceful teachings of the religion and adopting the philosophy that all life is precious.

In order to further rebel against his parents, Darrian enlisted in the U.S. Army to further distance himself from his middle eastern upbringing. However it was here that he experienced the first real hardships of his life, coming in the form of underlying discrimination and racial bigotry at the hands of many of his fellow G.I.'s. It was here that his insecurities took hold and his deep feelings of being different rooted themselves. But in spite of it all he clung onto to the peaceful aspects his Muslim faith and did not give in to hate or retribution.

On a tour of duty in Somalia, Darrian's unit was deployed to security duty to some diplomats in hostile guerrilla occupied territory. On a routine ground sweep, he spotted some insurgents taking aim at one of his fellow soldiers from afar. In an act of extreme heroism, Darrian dove forward, pushing his colleague out of the way of the approaching gunfire...at the cost of he himself being shot three times. Once in the leg and twice in the upper torso. He was rushed to a field medical unit. but due to the loss of blood,it was feared he wouldn't make it. At that exact moment, a Green Lantern from a neighboring sector was ambushed by a pair of Sinestro Corps. Lanterns. The battle traveled down into Earth's atmosphere above Africa and the Green Lantern was all but incinerated by his attackers...his power ring being flung into the air. As is the way of all Oan power rings, it immediately sought a replacement...and found it's way onto the finger of Darrian Semer-Khan. Darrian's sense of self sacrifice, selflessness and will had made him worthy of the ring's choice and cemented his tenure as the new Green Lantern of Earth Sector 444.

He was mentored by the legendary Green Lantern John Stewart and over time became renowned as an exceptionally gifted and powerful Lantern. Noted for his indomitable force of will and his devotion of the notion of fair play.

Powers: Standard powers and abilities of a Green Lantern. Flight, solid light constructs, energy blasts and shields etc...

Weapons: Oan Power Ring

Skills: Competent hand to hand combatant, keen strategist.

[BCOLOR=transparent]Once eighteen, and free from jail, Oliver returned to his old, criminal life, this time though headed in a much higher direction. He aimed particularly at the wealthiest of Gotham City, honests and not. [BCOLOR=transparent]Fearing the boy could end up in a Prison cell with the scum of the city and spotting some good in his eyes, she instead took him in custody, attempting to direct him in a better direction. [BCOLOR=transparent]Today, he's an extremely skilled spy and thief, occasionally fighting crime, but far more oftenly having a good time around the city. [/BCOLOR]

Casting choice: Jane Levy (http://cdn.collider.com/wp-content/uploads/jane-levy-suburgatory1.jpg )

General health: Very good, even for Kryptonian. She has never been sick, she hasn't really felt pain since she was a child. Her body, from the day she was born, has been absorbing solar radiation to empower her form. To make her highly resistant to diseases, viruses and pain in general.
Disabilities, illnesses, or weaknesses: No disabilities, no illnesses. Standard Kryptonian Earthling weaknesses. Kryptonite (in all its forms), reliance on solar energy (while her body has been storing radiation for years, it is conceivable she could lose her powers if out of the sun for a prolonged period of time. 2 days or so), Magic (she can't be destroyed by magic unless it's of a semi-divine or divine source, but she can be hurt and weakened by magic, magic can also have unexpected effects on her), lead.

Fashion and style
Special jewelry: She wears a pendant given to her by her mother. It was crafted by Alura (Kara's mother) from Kryptonian alloys. The pendant hangs on a silver chain, the pendant itself a small gold disc (about the size of a quarter) with what looks like a small L on it and a star on the right. Her hair is usually always tied back with red hair clips.
Hair color: Strawberry blond
Hairstyle: Tasha's hair is long, going to about the middle of her back. She usually always has it pulled back into thick pigtails, held in place by red hair clips.
Grooming: She stays very neatly trimmed, always, using techniques shown to her by her mother. She now has in her possession a razor fashioned by Kal-el used specifically for shaving.

Additional information: Her current powers. While she has the potential of a vast array of powers (as seems standard with Kryptonians under the yellow sun), she at this moment has access only to a handful of those powers. They are:
Yellow Sun Absorption
Limited flight (she hasn't quite got the hang of this one)
Extreme durability
Extreme Strength
Extreme Speed
Accelerated Healing

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Languages spoken: English, Spanish, Kryptonian
Accent or dialect: None, really.
Vocabulary/reading level: She did graduate high school, but wasn't a stand out by any means. In fact she didn't actually do well at all in school. She was always to distracted. Often her teachers would say that if she applied herself, she could be at the top of her class.
Voice tone: Mezzo-soprano. Often not loud, usually medium tones. Unless she's excited, then she gets louder.
Favorite phrases: "Fiddlesticks!" "oi oi oi" "Bene!"
Do they curse: Tries not to, but slips occasionally.
Demeanor: Tasha feels she has a reputation to keep, especially when she puts on the red and blues. She tries to hold herself in an honorable way, as if she's some kind of veteran. Experienced and wise. But.. she's not. At the end of the day she's a young, excitable girl. Who has very little fighting experience and no experience fighting major 'villains'. And sometimes that inexperience and attitude shows through her want to be a more proper 'role model'.
Mannerisms: She can sometimes be.. fidgety. Sometimes she has trouble keeping herself still. The fact she has the potential to be as great a hero as her mother was, as Superman was, is something that's in her heart almost 24 hours a day. This will be especially true when she is first setting out. She can often be very excitable, but she still tries to hold herself in a respectable manner. Sometimes after she does something dumb.. she realizes she did something dumb and regrets it. So more and more she's trying to be mindful of how she carries herself.
Gestures: She uses her hands a lot to 'talk'. Motioning sometimes erratically when she feels she needs to make a point, or to emphasize the subject of whatever she is saying. Again, she can be very animated.
Habitual behaviors: She scratches her cheek a lot, especially when she is indecisive. She had a bad habit of biting her nails, too. When she is lost in thought or very frustrated, she'll run her hands through her hair or fluff her hair or something along those lines. Most of these are just expressions of her impatience. Usually impatience with herself.
Posture: She knows eyes are on her, especially when she wears her uniform. So she tries to carry herself in that proper manner, befitting of her legacy. But once more.. she's a young and excitable girl. And being proper, respectable and honorable don't always win through for her.

PROFESSIONAL INFO:
Current occupation: Former high school student (Benson High School in Benson, Arizona). Former waitress and greeter at the Bat Cave Café in Benson, Arizona. Currently training to be a superheroine. She will also have to take on odd jobs or a part time job to pay her way.
Level of job satisfaction: Immensely high (superheroine). When she worked as a waitress, she didn't get a lot of money but she did enjoy it.
Years at current occupation: 2.5 (waitress), 0 (superheroine)
Income: All she makes is the money she has been saving from working at the café. It isn't a whole lot, but enough to exist on.
Professional skills: Very good waitress, often not having to write down orders thanks to her enhanced memory. She also become a good short order cook and greeter. She knows how to work many restaurant machines (washers, ovens, disinfecting appliances). She is also skilled in farm life. She is an accomplished equestrian, can perform most basic farm tasks (animal husbandry, basic repair of farm equipment, repair of property, raising crops and plants).
Combat skills: She knows the basics of fighting, and fighting as a powered being. There's not a lot of finesse to her 'fighting style', it's all things she has tried to learn from her mother. It hasn't ever been applied in a real world and genuinely dangerous situation. If she does well in a fight, to start, it will be because of her physiology, not her skill.

Overall quality of living conditions: Very high, her room is very organized. And so is much of the house thanks to her.. and the barns.. and the yard.. she likes to organize things.
Home décor: It's a ranch, so the home reflects that. It's a country style for the most part, with some rooms that are more contemporary. Tasha's room is filled with trinkets and little statues, mostly of video game, anime or movie origin. She loves collecting clocks, also. She has a bookshelf filled with manga (of differing titles), and she also has plushies in her room.

In her eyes, they are on the same level as heroes. She is on very good terms with them both, though her father is more the disciplinarian. Her mother wants her to go out and find her own destiny, but her father would be more than happy for her to stay at home with them forever, where it's nice and safe for her.

Extended family: Uncle (Jacob Philip Patterson)

Best Friend: Chris. Met in high school. He's something of a nerd, like she is. But he is also on the Benson High School soccer team (Go Bobcats!). He lives in Benson proper. He is the only one that knows about her powers, and what she is.
Describe relationship with friend(s): She loves her friends, even if she has to lie to them most of the time. She wants to tell them all that she has powers, that she's going to be this great hero. But now all she can do is get them discounts at the café she worked at. She loves going out with them, even if she doesn't do it as often as she wants to.

How does the character relate to:
Spouse: N/A
Lover: N/A
Past lovers/spouses: She has only had sex once, with a boy named Kirk. There was nothing romantic about it, really. And afterwards, she and Kirk rarely talked. Which kind of broke her heart. That was almost 4 years ago. She isn't on talking terms with him right now.
Children: N/A
Friends: She loves all of her friends, she hangs out with them as much as she can. But she is especially close to Amy and Chris. Amy is the closest thing she has to a neighbor, they grew up together essentially. While Amy is more into the intellectual pursuits (she wants to be a doctor), she still sees Tasha as her close friend also.
Employer: Her manager at the café is named Mateo. He sees Tasha as a very good worker, determined to do what is right. And this is something she actually learned from Mateo. He has been sort of a mentor to her, even if she is only a waitress essentially. He would often tell her "Management is doing things right, leadership is doing the right things.", something that has always stuck with Tasha. Mateo was prepared to make Tasha a manager, but that won't be able to happen now.
Underlings: N/A
Minions: N/A
Pets: She loves her Pegasus! It's as plain as that. She spends a lot of free time in the barn with him, or taking him out to run in the country. In fact, he has helped her learn to fly slowly. She has been trying to keep up with him while he's in full gallop.
Strangers: She is sometimes to trusting of people. Sometimes she thinks that everyone is always telling the truth to her and always doing their best. Because she is.
Opposite sex: She's always looking for a man, really. She would love to be in a relationship. A real romance, not just sex.
Same sex: She can often get jealous of other girls. She feels like she isn't as pretty or desirable as they are. She is, in fact, very self conscious.
Family members: She always tries to do her best for her family, helping whenever she possibly can.
Competitors: She doesn't like competition. Not with other people. It will bring out the worst in Tasha. Sour feelings, jealousy and paranoia.
Authority: Unless it's an authority that has earned her respect, she won't think much of them. Unfortunately people have to prove to her that they are worth her respect. This is something she's trying to break herself of, knowing that one day she's going to have to be more trusting of those in charge around her. That's how the world works.
Enemies: She doesn't have any major enemies at the moment, save for the typical high school drama scenes she sometimes finds herself in. If you're her true enemy, she has trouble showing any sort of mercy or understanding.

CHARACTER PERSONALITY AND PSYCHOLOGY:
Any psychological issues or illnesses: None really. Living on the farm has been good for her psychologically. Most of her problems are more emotional in nature.
Meyers Briggs Personality Type: ESTJ Personality ("The Executive") ESTJs are representatives of tradition and order, utilizing their understanding of what is right, wrong and socially acceptable to bring families and communities together. Embracing the values of honesty, dedication and dignity, people with the ESTJ personality type are valued for their clear advice and guidance, and they happily lead the way on difficult paths. Taking pride in bringing people together, ESTJs often take on roles as community organizers, working hard to bring everyone together in celebration of cherished local events, or in defense of the traditional values that hold families and communities together.

What do they love: Being what she is, having her abilities.
What is their passion: Being a true hero, as her parents before her.
What do they hate: Indecisive people. Being bothered by dumb questions. Someone not being up front with her (people who are two faced). Laziness. People that speak down to her. People who think she is shirking her duties. People who are impatient with her. People who take advantage of others, especially those 'weaker' than themselves.
What would they die for: Her family, her closest friends. She hasn't been exposed to a lot yet, so that list will expand.
What do they value: Those she loves more than anything else.
Secret loves: She's pretty open about things she loves, she's not very ashamed of any of it. So she doesn't see the need to have a secret love. Though it could be baking, since she doesn't get the chance to do a lot of it.
Sexual behavior: She is straight, but she isn't opposed to experimentation of course. Sexually she is very open to most things, save for the most extreme (rape, gore, etc., etc.)

Personal philosophies:
Politics: She feels like every politician is only out for themselves and gaining more power. And everything they do or say lend themselves to such a goal. She doesn't follow politics a lot for this reason. She will sometimes see the headlines, but that's about it. She also hates the fact people blame each other or badmouth each other based solely on the party they belong to.
Spirituality: She has never been especially spiritual, at this moment she considers herself an atheist. Her father is very religious, and has tried to get Tasha to be also. But Tasha hasn't responded well to those attempts. She will even go with her parents to church, but only to make them happy.
Prejudices: She is a very open minded person.. considering she's half alien. She sometimes will come to a conclusion about someone based on very little, but that is rare. She believes there is room on this little world for everyone.

Greatest strength: Her passion. When she sets her mind to something, she will often do whatever it is she has to in order to follow through. This sort of work ethic was borne in her from an early age, consider what her parents were. And working on a farm didn't hurt. She isn't afraid to do whatever she has to in order to get the job done, and one right.
Greatest weakness or flaw: Her emotions, specifically 'negative' emotions. These can often times cripple her, really. While she doesn't suffer from clinical depression or anything of the sort, she can be derailed if something happens that effects her emotionally. And sometimes this can be as simple as things not going right for her. She can go from happy to angry at the drop of a hat. And as passionate as she is when things go well, she is just as passionate when she is upset and angry.

Their favorite attribute: Being half alien and having the powers that come with it!
Least favorite attribute: She knows her attitude is poor sometimes, and she often speaks with her heart and not her head and she regrets it immediately.

Biggest secret: She feels like she isn't worthy of what she's been given, in regards to her legacy and powers. She feels like she has a lot to live up to, considering her second cousin was/is one of the greatest heroes in history. No pressure.
Biggest fear: Losing her powers, not being able to help

Most likeable trait: She can be very charming and friendly when she wants to be. Often she wants to be friends with everyone, perhaps secretly she needs to be liked by others.
Least likeable trait: Her bad attitude
How are they perceived by others: Most of her friends see her as just an average girl who probably won't ever make it out of their county. Her parents see the potential she has, and wants her to live up to it.

Proudest accomplishment: When she learned to fly. Even if she's not great at it yet.
Other accomplishments: Won at the county spelling bee 2 years in a row.
Biggest regret: Not being a great hero like her parents or Superman.
Most embarrassing moment: Someone took a picture of her in the shower at school and posted it on a local website. It was taken down, but no one ever found out who actually posted it.
Personality quirks: Can go from good to bad in a second. Her parents think she might be border OCD. Sometimes in her mind, she's pretending to be a character. She is most guilty of doing this with the Sailor Senshi.
Would they like to change anything about themselves: Be stronger, be the hero she thinks she needs to be. She also thinks she needs to be prettier.

Short term or long term goals: Long term is the same story, being as great as her mother was. As her mother is. She also wants to see the world, since she's never been much out of the state. Short term, she's more interested in mastering her powers. She doesn't know how much she'll be able to do in regards to how strong she might get, but she wants to do the best with what she has to work with.
Obstacles: And again, her emotions. She can sometimes become frazzled emotionally, and that will put limits on some of her powers. Until she can learn to focus her emotions in a positive way, this will continue to plague her.

Heroes or role models: Her parents, of course. One was a superheroine, the other a firefighter. She doesn't admire her mother because of her powers, she admires her resolve. The same with her father. She often considers him the bravest man there is. He has no powers or anything, and is willing to run into a burning building and risk his life for others. And that was his job. She also admires Superman, but that is fairly universal. She can't deny what he stood for, what he did for his adopted world.
Negative role models: Uncle Jacob. Her father's brother, who visits often, is something of a hustler and scam artist. He has shown Tasha some of the more seedy sides of life. He spends most of his time trying to get people's money, or losing money gambling. He is really the antithesis of her father.
Biggest life influence: Has to be her mother. Ever since she realized who Kara was, and that she might have the same powers as she does. It's Kara that helped her through the hardships of growing up.. very.. different. Tasha's powers started to manifest when she was around 5, so from that point on it was something of a struggle for her. And her mother was with her every step of the way. Her mother helped her to learn control (Tasha demolished many of her toys.. and farm equipment.. accidentally), and she helped her to fly.

PAST HISTORY:
Hometown: Pomerene, Arizona
Past relationships: Has only had 1 boyfriend.
First love: Kirk. He was Chris' best friend, and also on the soccer team with him. Kirk and Tasha met while Tasha was watching the soccer team practice. He was charming, charismatic and very handsome. Tasha almost immediately fell in love. She went to every practice for 3 weeks straight, just to see Kirk. Oh and to cheer Chris on too, or whatever. And after that time, Kirk asked her to go out with him to a movie. They went to see a science fiction movie, though Tasha doesn't actually remember the movie. She remembers just being there with him. They shared popcorn. He bought her little gifts all of the time, his family is fairly wealthy. Doesn't hurt. They dated for perhaps a month and a half.. and then..
First sexual experience: Kirk started to get more bold. He had always been flirty with her, an 'accidental' brush against, his hand on hers and the like. But then he started to do a bit more, putting his arm around her waist, rubbing her back, running his hand through her hair. Yeah basically breaking her down. And Tasha didn't mind in the least. She didn't want to see to forward, she didn't want to be seen as a whore. So his advances were welcome. It was raining that night, and she had gotten stuck at his house without a ride. His parents were on vacation, so they had full rein of the home. It happened quickly, Kirk making his move. It started with little kisses as they sat on the couch together watching Netflix, and then it became very passionate very quickly. Before she knew it Kirk was on top of her, unbuttoning her shirt. He started groping her, feeling her all over. And Tasha was lost in the pleasure. Something in the back of her mind told her to slow things down, but she didn't listen to that little voice. In all reality she wanted this as much as he did. They had sex right there on the couch that rainy night, though Kirk had trouble at first. She is half Kryptonian, after all. And like the build up, it was over very quickly. He did at least have sense of mind to use a condom. They both fell asleep then on the couch.

Major childhood events:
Best memory: Flying while being carried by her mother.
Worst memory: When she was 10, she actually found a dead body in a creek on their property. His name was Julio, and he was in the fourth grade with her. He had apparently slipped on rocks up the creek and his body was carried down. His head was pretty much split open from the fall. It was very traumatic for little Tasha.
Saddest memory: She and her grandmother (on her father's side) were very close. In the last few months of her life, the woman suffered from Alzheimer's and dementia. Tasha loved her grandmother very much, she spent a lot of time with her in her younger years (Gramma was the babysitter). And it broke her heart to see her just degrade so quickly. She went from an older woman with a sharp mind to not even recognizing Tasha, to not being able to go to the bathroom by herself. Tasha cried for almost 3 days when she finally passed.
Quality of childhood: Very good. She never wanted for anything, but was still taught the value of hard work. Of doing the right thing. She had very loving parents, a very loving family and good friends around her. And a horse. Yeah she was the kid that got a pony for her birthday.

Educational experience/level: High school graduate, not exactly at the top of her class. In high school she was something of a slacker, but that changed after graduation. One of her major problems was that she was bored in school, and never did homework. That caused issues. She usually did just enough to get a passing grade.
Significant school experiences: She won the spelling bee 2 years in a row in middle school. She still has the little ribbons given to her. Her school experiences mostly revolved around enjoying herself and socializing. She wasn't part of any clubs, nor did she join any of the sports teams. School was more of an obstacle to her, she felt like she had better things to do. Like learning to use her powers, training.
Anything un-skilled, needs work: Basically all of her powers, she needs more experience in the field. That's the major thing of her life right now. She can't fly well, she doesn't know just how strong she is, she doesn't know the full scope of her powers yet.
Hobbies: Playing video games. Listening to music. Riding horses. Sketching (she says it's a hobby, and at one time she wasn't bad, but she hasn't done it for years). Reading. Geocaching.

Major illnesses, accidents or traumas: Due to her physiology, she has never had a major illness or injury, or physical trauma. She got very sick once when she was 2, and that was about the last time she hurt herself (fell out of a chair onto a hard surface). Since then, she hasn't felt real pain.

Police record/criminal record: N/A. She's a good girl.

DAILY LIFE:
Morning routine: She always wakes up earlier than she would like. Perhaps a habit built into her from her father getting up before dawn. First thing she'll do is brush her teeth, and then arrange her bathroom counter so it's neat. Make sure there are no streaks on the mirror. She'll then head downstairs and get a protein shake, and then back to her room. Being as quiet as possible. She'll then make her bed and turn on the local news. She half watches it as she gets herself ready for her day. She'll then get a shower, and then get herself all ready. Now depending on what's on the agenda, she'll do things a little differently. A day of adventuring/play/training, she gets her yoga pants (and shorts over them) and her tank top and she's ready. Going out or spending the day with people, she'll put on makeup and more suitable clothing. If she's going to work, she'll get her uniform on, tie her hair back into pigtails and head out. Of course before she leaves she needs to make sure her room is in order. Everything in it's place and a place for everything.
Afternoon routine: She doesn't really have a set afternoon routine. She'll have lunch and snacks just whenever she thinks about it, but that's about it.
Evening routine: When she comes home, she immediately changes her clothes. She'll usually either change into her Simpsons jammies, her sock monkey jammies or her penguin jammies. She'll put on a random t-shirt usually, something cool. Some anime or pop culture kind of shirt. That done, she gets an evening snack. Popcorn or crackers is a common choice. And then it's dinner, but she usually eats in her room. Despite the fact her parents would love to have a normal meal with her. The rest of her night is spent perhaps playing games or chatting with her friends, or doing research. Usually about her powers, or history. She does enjoy reading about the exploits of those heroes that came before her.
Sleep habits: Unless she has somewhere specific to be at a specific time, she usually just goes to bed when she's to tired to stay awake any longer. But if she, as example, has to be at work in the morning, she'll plan it so when she goes to bed she'll be getting about 8 hours sleep. But it usually ends up being 7. She dreams a lot when she sleeps, and sometimes tends to be restless. She always sleeps in pajamas, but during the hotter months, it's usually just panties or boxers and a tank top. Once her mind wakes up, no matter how hard she tries, she can't go back to sleep. Which bugs her. When she wakes up, she's up. She's usually not sluggish or anything, she's ready to go.

BACKSTORY:
Tasha Alura Patterson was born in Benson Hospital (Pomerene, Arizona) on March 20th, 20 years ago. Her parents, Kara and Michael, had only in recent years moved to Arizona from Oceanville. Tasha was their first (and only, it turns out) child, and a very welcome addition to their family. Her birth was, however, troubled. Little Tasha did have to be put into an intensive care unit almost immediately. She had trouble breathing when first she was born, it was as if her lungs were simply to weak to expand. After a week of tests and observation, the doctors felt she was finally strong enough to be taken off of the life support system. And a few days later, she was allowed to be taken home with her grateful parents.
They lived on a 108 acre farm and ranch, mostly raising horses and small myriad of crops, a farm that had been in the Patterson family for many years. From the moment she was brought into their home, Tasha was the center of their universe. Michael and Kara knew there was a possibility that Tasha would be.. different.. than other girls. Not just the usual way all parents feel about their children.. but the fact Tasha was half Kryptonian. Kara had lead life as Supergirl, a strange visitor from another planet. So from the first, they kept careful watch on Tasha. Kara, of course, knew what her potential could be. But what she didn't know was just how early, or late, her powers could manifest. Kara had come to Earth when she was preteen, and Tasha was a native Earthling. For all they knew the infant could start hefting cars and flying to the moon by the time she was 3 (she didn't, of course). On the flip side, it could turn out her Human half could win out. And she would grow up a normal little girl, well normal in the respect she wouldn't have enhanced abilities.
As it turns out, Tasha was indeed her mother's daughter. Her young body had started to absorb the empowering rays of her native planet's sun from the very first day she was first exposed to it. Perhaps out of instinct or intent, Kara made sure to spend as much time outside with her daughter. When Tasha was around 5 she started to exhibit her true abilities. The first inkling was innocent enough. She was playing with her toy bowling set in their living room, and her ball rolled under the couch. Without thinking she walked over to the couch, put her hand under its edge, and lifted it right up. Much to her father's horror since he was sitting on the couch. Tasha grabbed her ball as she held the end of the couch over her head, and then dropped it as she stepped out of the way. Michael and Kara were astonished at the feat, and knew it was a herald of the potential held within her little body. Kara was excited, thrilled, at this prospect. Her father.. not so much. He had given Kara much leeway in regards to raising their daughter in respects to her Kryptonian heritage. Such little things as letting her play with blocks that had English letters and Kryptonian letters on them, but in the back of his mind he truly felt she would never gain the powers her mother had. Perhaps it was wishful thinking on his part, a father's want for his little princess to never be put into danger. Another part of his reasoning.. he had seen to many people lose their children in his line of work, he had found far too many bodies in burnt out rubble. But whether or not he wanted it, there was no denying Tasha was to be special, as her mother before her.
When she first exhibited that feat of power, a myriad of problems sprung up. She was to start school later that year.. she was very excited to become Bobcat Cub (the local primary school). But they had to impress upon her the importance of not standing out in the wrong ways. Like.. lifting cars and such. That's usually frowned upon in kindergarten. They had the spring and summer to figure things out, as this incident was in January of that year. And in that time, it was Kara mostly that would have little talks with Tasha, explaining why she was so different than the other little girls, and why she had to keep such things just to her family. Kara and Michael weren't 100% as to what would happen if the public found out there was a superpowered toddler in their local primary school… but it probably wouldn't be a parade. It was Michael's suggestion that they make it like a game. A game Tasha could play whenever she was away from her parents. They would tell her to pretend she's a princess.. and she had special abilities that others didn't have, and it had to be kept a secret. And Tasha being Tahsa.. immediately equated that to her being the Moon Princess… she was the new Sailor Moon. Kara loved Tasha's ingenuity.. and Michael would just roll his eyes.. but whatever they had to say to have her be discrete. She wants to be Sailor Moon.. she'll be Sailor Moon. In disguise, of course. Tasha LOVED this new game.. and she embraced it wholeheartedly. Kara even made her a Moon Stick sceptor to keep hidden in her Minnie Mouse backpack. This ill-conceived and risky plan.. actually worked.
And while Tasha would pretend to be something when out in public, her mother and father made it clear she really was special, different. Kara made her understand who she was in the years before her birth. She was a superheroine. She was an alien. It took time for all of that to sink in with Tasha, it's kind of far-fetched. Even for a child. And over the next few years, Kara would open up more about her life, about what she had done and what she was capable of. Stories of her life became the stuff of sleepytime stories for Tasha.
The world's greatest hero, Tasha's second cousin
A man with a magic ring that could make anything out of thin air
A woman with the wings of an eagle and the heart of a lion
The princess that left her land to defend the Earth as a whole
The caped knight that protected his world from the shadows
The man that was just as much machine as flesh
Her friend that could move faster than the eye could see
A man that never missed with an arrow
One of her best friends, the redhead that fought villains mostly by outthinking them
Kara had stories enough to last years. And they did. The legacy of justice that Kara was witness to became the thing that Tasha grew up hearing all about. And in time, this would be a major influence on her life.
And so over time she would be shown how to best use the powers she had found herself with. She more and more came to understand how important it could be for her to master these powers. She never knew Superman, she never knew her mother when she was a superheroine, she didn't know any other of the 'heroes' her mother would speak of.. but she knew that one day she could be the one that would have to step up to help the world. She started to see it as her responsibility. From her mother she would learn to use her abilities for the good of the world, she would learn how to be a Kryptonian superheroine, and from her father she learned how to be a Human hero. And while it was true that one day she might be asked to take up the mantle of her heritage…she was still a girl with responsibilities. Of the non world-ending kind.
She didn't do well in school at all. She never did. Year after year she seemed to do just enough to get by, to get that barely passing grade. And that was it. She wasn't dumb, by any stretch of the imagination. She simply didn't want to apply herself. She would be lax with homework, she wouldn't do her best with any of her assignments. She felt.. bored.. often times with school. And often times, she merely thought.. I can fly to the moon and back, why do I need to learn about equations? Unfortunately she did need equations, and other things she had to learn in school. Unfortunately she couldn't actually fly to the moon and back.
And again, she had responsibilities. Her parents, as much as they loved and treasured her, would not give her life on a silver platter. She had to get a job. In the latter years of high school, she did exactly that. She found a part time job at a very popular café not terribly far from her school, the Bat Cave Café. When Kara found out such a place existed, she laughed and laughed and laughed. And now here was Tasha working there. She started as just a waitress, but eventually she learned many different roles at the café. After graduation from high school, she would take a full time position at the café. She could work in any of the areas… greeter, waitress, line cook, cleaning crew.. no task was to difficult, or below her. While in school she didn't apply herself.. when she got a fulltime job she put all she had into it. She wanted to make those around her proud. To this day no one knows why the sudden switch was turned on, not even Tasha. But her parents were relieved that switch was thrown.
And that brings us closer to the present. Tasha had expressed to her manager, Mateo, that she was thinking about moving onto bigger and better things. That was Tasha setting it up so she could leave the job and perhaps, at last, put on a crime fighting costume and finally be able to use her powers for the good of the world. She had never even been out of the state of Arizona, she had lead such a sheltered life. But she had read about all of the wonderful places she could be.. the internet brought them all to her doorstep. And now a yearning was building in her heart. Her parents had recognized this in their daughter for the passed few months. Her mother is excited by the prospect, her father not so much.
And so Tasha Alura Patterson finds herself at a crossroads in her life. She feels pressure from all sides.. be a hero, don't be a hero, live a normal life, be a leader in the community (she did have the potential).. and it will be up to Tasha to make the final decision. She just needs a push…

Oh, and Tasha's theme song!!

So we're in this to build a great story, right? Not just like 3 days and one round of posts?

I hope so. Ideally, the coming of Darkseid will just be what brings the group together, and then we'll continue on as the defenders of earth.

From the looks of it so far...we have a pretty formidable and very interesting team of intellects, acrobats and power houses, thos should be really interesting.

Kerme also makes attempts to talk criminals into giving while they can, but very few do. Kerme doesn't like to admit it but she enjoys combat as much as the average Amazon. Rarely does she meet someone she can trade blows with and when she does she can't help but enjoy it. Kerme isn't a killer and is very merciful even to her most hated enemies.

Kerme isn't the type to say something hurtful to someone without being provoked and would fell bad about later. She doesn't talk behind people's back and doesn't tolerate it. She's honest and wears her emotions on her sleeves. She isn't desperate for friends and doesn't conduct herself with questionable people. Kerme keeps an open mind and is a very empathetic individual. She constantly makes an attempt to understand others. She believes everyone is capable of redemption no matter how bad they are. She isn't naive and hates to admit it, but she knows there are people that are pure evil and only care for themselves.
History:
Kerme was just a young girl when her mother decided to take Kerme to her home. Her mother was an Amazonian who had left Themyscira before her birth to see what man's world had become. She met a man who captured her heart. This man was Teth-Adam, Ruler of Kahndaq. He is better known as Black Adam to the world. They had a short fling behind the back of Adam's wife Isis. Once Kerme's Mother grew board of Adam and sick of his temper and controlling nature so she vanished. 9 months later Kerme was born but Kerme's mother never told Adam of this.

Kerme was only raised her mother for the first 5 years of her life. One day her mother decided to write Adam a letter letting him know she was alive and had bore him a child. She explained that Kerme she wouldn't tell Kerme of him or where they were. She had decided that she spare his daughter his arrogance and overbearing personality. After receiving this Adam started searching for them but could never locate them. He might have thought to check Paradise Island if Kerme's mother thought to mention she was an Amazon. Her Mother dropped her off on Paradise Island to be raised by their kind int he city of Themyscira.

Kerme was now under the protection of the Amazons. She was in Kerme's eyes abandon by her mother and was stuck on an island she didn't know how to get off of. She cried day and night until Diana, Queen of Themyscira appeared beside her bed. Diana spoke softly to her and calmed her down. Diana told her who she was and her job on the island and who her mother was as well. After calming Kerme down she took her around the island showing her what the Amazons had achieved, a peaceful coexistence with each other. As Diana showed off the beautify of Themyscira and Kerme fell in love with the place. Diana explained that Paradise Island had more than just beauty but much knowledge to offer. Diana showed that the Amazons were given great education along with that taught the way of war.

After that day Kerme stayed on Themyscira living as one of them and learning their ways. She was gifted as them but she was able to achieve levels of strength that set her apart from the average woman. She learned how to read and speak a multitude of languages, Astrology, Philosophy, Horse riding, Archery, Swordsmanship, Hunting and other practical Amazonian skills. The Amazons were her family but as she grew older she began to feel trapped on the Island as Diana herself felt years ago. She saw this in Kerme and allowed her to leave the Island when she turned 18.

The leave for Kerme was met with tears and hugs from her sisters. She had been given a magic sword crafted by Hephaestus himself. Diana used her UN connections to get her a new life under the name Kerme Fawcett in Metropolis. When she arrived the Metropolis she spent her first year there as a waitress at a diner.

One day after getting off of work she was stopped by a tall, muscled Egyptian man with slick black hair. He talked to her as if he knew her. He told her he wished he could have been there for her. He explained to Kerme that he was her father. Her mother had left him long ago and died in battle with a superior foe years ago. Black Adam then grabbed his daughter's hands and transferred his powers to her by screaming SHAZAM one last time.

Kerme was left confused but later learned she was given superpowers. She later got in contact with Diana who explains to her who Black Adam was. Kerme was not happy about hearing what kind of man her father was. If she could do anything with the powers he gave her it would be to become a superhero. She was later introduced to Captain Marvel who took a liking to her and trained her on how to use her powers. She took up the name Black Marvel afterward, combining her father name with Captain Marvel's.

Powers:
Her powers are bestowed upon her by magical lighting when she says the word 'Shazam'. The lighting strikes her and the powers she gains are as follows.
