We all know how it happened...the Joker kidnapped Lois Lane, doused Superman with the Scare Crow's fear toxin, and it a bid to save her, accidentally killed her and his unborn child. What followed was a nightmare, Superman set up a totalitarian regime on Earth to ensure that this would never happen again. But some of weren't gonna go along with the program, some of us still believed in free will and the right to choose our own destiny. Our numbers are few, but our resolve has never been stronger. It's all or nothing in this war...
*So this will be an alternate variant on the outstanding Injustice event by D.C. comics. No one really needs to know the backstory on the comic series or the game. Basically Superman has been turned into a tyrannical dictator due to the murder of his wife and child and we are a team of heroes and villains who oppose him and his regime. Besides Batman/Superman and any cosmically overpowered being...any hero/villain in the D.C. universe is fair game. Original characters are encouraged. Any hero or villain who is not in our roster of players will automatically be part of Superman's regime at the start of the RP.
