Justice League: A Fight Against Fantasy

This place, it is not our own. I have been to many alien planets, and yet this feels like I am nowhere near home. It has been a year since we were taken from Earth, and there are not many of us who made it through. I have not seen my comrades for a long time,but I have made a home with the people of Karan. The people call me Saul The Protector. I have become a voice for these people, a warrior, a hero. This land is mysterious and I do not know where this path will take me. All I know is, I need to find a way out.

The heroes and villains of our universe have been taken, taken far away. We arrived in different parts of this mythical land, and there are many different beings that live here. Dwarves, Elves, Orcs, Halflings, you name them all and they exist here. There are three kingdoms in this land. The kingdom of Arath, Karan, and Dwyrin. Arath and Karan have been in war for a many years while Dwyrin has been stuck in them middle for too long. Since our arrival, the world itself has begun to change. The people have become bitter and are in need of heroes. It was not just the League who have been transported here, but villains as well. Our arrivals, caused changed in us. We are not ourselves anymore, we have been transformed. Our powers are in tact, but our technology has failed. None of our tracing devices work and our guns have quickly ran out of bullets. It's now just our powers, wits, and influence over the people.

The heroes and villains of the DC universe have been teleported to a mysterious mythical land by an unknown source. All of your favorite heroes and villains have fit in to be able to adjust to this world. The explosive arrows have been set aside by the Green Arrow for real ones, and the guns has been destroyed and replaced with swords and shields. Within this world there is magic and monsters, and these super powered being will have to fight their way through them to take control of the world for themselves, or save it. Whatever has taken them here has a grand plan for all of them. Will they work together to find the cause of their teleportation, or will they end up killing each other?

Characters

The characters transported may or may not have transformations done to them. For example, Robin may be an elf now, or Batman may have become an actual Manbat. These interpretations of theses characters are up to you and can be made however you wish. This is as long as it fits the fantasy setting.

Rules:

1. You are allowed to have multiple characters.
2. You need to post once per week, if you don't your character will be made into an NPC.
3. Posts should ideally be two paragraphs, but it's up to you.
4. There will be no smut in this RP, PG 13 romance is acceptable. You can do a fade-to-black or continue in messages if you wish.
5. There will be no God-moding, Meta-gaming, or Power Gaming.
6. DC characters are only allowed, no Marvel or any other comic book heroes.

Personality: Saul is a leader and is able to handle situations well. He may not have any sort of sympathy, but he is able to help those around him for the greater good. There is no doubt that he will do things for the greater good. Overall, Saul is a great fit for the kingdom of Karan, and will help those who need help, and hopefully get back home.

Backstory: Martian Manhunter, now Saul The Protector, has lived in Karan for about a year making his way up the ranks of The Ember Order. He is second in command, and has quite the reputation. His name is one of the most revered names within the kingdom, and he is unmistakably one of the best tacticians in Karan. Saul also has a wife, Mildred Gebt, and his two sons Arnold and Jacob. In his year of being in this new land, he has done many great deeds. He has retrieved The Silver Spear, from the snake pits of Algatha, and has slain great beasts across the land to be able to make a name for himself. Saul has made quite the living for himself, now he has to find a way out of this mysterious place.

She is a sneaky flirt. She is extremely nice to everyone (to their face), but in secret she is probably plotting to steal something of yours....if she hasn't already. If you can befriend her, she treats you well and makes sure your taken care of.

Catwoman adjusted well in this new world, and she started "the Shadow's Paw", a feline themed thieves organization made up of woman. The Shadow's Paw is known across the lands, rumored to be able to preform any heist cleanly, and therefore extremely expensive to hire. Since the start of the Shadow's Paw, she changed her name to Feline, convinced that since this is a new world, she needs a new face. She has tried to keep tab's on all the hero's and villains, but ultimately failed in the process.

Tends to have angry issues and a constant thirst for blood. Doesn't have much concept of the team "friend" and tends to only work with someone if he has something to gain or is forced too.

Extreme strength, agility, endurance, sight, and hearing.
Can send sound waves to cause horrible pain to people or animals. Can also be used to destroy things.
Can speak to bats.
Can go into a bloodfury rage, causing him to not feel pain for a short period of time.
Backstory (What you have done for a year in this world.):
Winged Terror awoke in this new world as a new creature. It constantly wanted the taste of blood and began becoming a nocturnal hunter, killing cows and other live stock by ripping open their stomachs, picking them up and dropping them from elevated positions, or exploding their brains from sound waves. One night he was making his rounds of hunting and as he was feeding, he was attacked by a group of angry townsfolk, determined to find the cause of what was killing their animals. The frightened farmers attacked the creature, who in defense bit open a farmers arm. The first taste of humanoid blood caused this monster to want more, and to this day terrorizes the country side attacking and terrorizing villages.

Personality: Although extremely intelligent and quick witted, Lian often has trouble relating to typical things for someone her age. Having grown up around assassins and superheroes, she sometimes finds social situations and interacting with others to be difficult. She also tends to be ruthless and completing lacking in compassion. On the other hand, she is fiercely loyal to those she cares about and protective towards anyone she sees being taken advantage of or abused.

Backstory (What you have done for a year in this world.): After being transported and ending up in Arath, Lian first tried to locate her parents and their colleagues. Although she managed to track down a few of Red Arrow and Cheshire's associates, she found no news of either her father or mother. Deciding she was on her own in this strange new world, Lian adapted quickly, finding work as a mercenary and occasional assassin. She has remained largely indifferent to the war between Arath and Karan, but the arrival of her world's heroes has caused things to escalate in a way that may soon force her to choose a side.

Personality: Drake is a staunch defender of justice who has devoted his life to defending the innocent. Despite his outward transformation, little has changed as far as how he feels about the world and his place in it. He still considers himself a warrior on the front lines against the forces of evil. Now, however, he relies more on his natural skills instead of technology and gadgets. As an elf, he has grown somewhat prejudiced against other races and views them as clumsy and weak.

Backstory (What you have done for a year in this world.): Upon finding himself transported to another land, Tim Drake underwent a physical transformation into an elf. His body became leaner and lighter, and his ears tapered to points. Discovering that he was now unwelcome among most other races, he sought refuge among the wood elves of Dwyrin. Drake stayed with them a while, learning their ways and growing accustomed to his new body, before he eventually stuck out on his own. As a lone wanderer of the three kingdoms, he now does what he can to protect defenseless travelers against bandits and other criminals, growing ever more alarmed at the increasing number of refugees he finds on the roadways.​

Personality: Savage is immortal and has plagued the earth with crime and violence since before the beginning of recorded human history. He is a capable tactician with immense technological prowess. He is one of DC's most persistent villains and has fought hundreds of heroes throughout history. He only wishes for power, and power is what he shall obtain.

Backstory: Savage already knew what he was doing once he came to this mythical land. He basically set up base again and is slowly influencing the people of Arath to take over Dwyrin to be able to aid them in their fight against Karan. He became the executioner by cutting down the original executioner. No one questioned him, and all he asked for were orders.

Appearance: There are no significant nor deep changes upon Jason Todd, now red hood besides some new outfit here and there, thanks to Zatanna mostly with her magic. Frankly in Jason's defense he describes this as "fucking disappointing" seeing as everyone has Atleast one change on or in them. But perhaps it's because he's like a 'forgotten' robin or a 'successful failure' to everyone considering that he was bound to be dead yet his fate was to come back alive.

Fantasy changes: In truth Jason does have a change and that is merely being immortal in this world and healing more quickly unless the damage is heavily severe. { think wolverine ; except Jason will mostly only die through decapitation }. But just cause he's immortal the severe damages like being bombed or something--he will be able to feel the pain and get hurt--just not as expected, Yet compared to a stab it'll feel like a tickle.

Personality: Jason Todd is shown to be a snarky character who lives reckless and carefree, causing havoc around here and there occasionally, yet also while trying to save the city by doing things for the good yet in a bad way. He considers himself as being 'a better batman' for killing off the villains he can't nor can't seem to do and instead is often labeled as a 'anti hero' rather than a hero, criminal, villain, nor neutral person. The title suits him but in reality he's a self loathing character whose jealous of 'all the other former robins and bat-sons' craving for everyone and batman's attention especially.

He has changed his clothing to fit into the times, wearing a golden breastplate with three blue shards in the middle of it.

Personality:
Black Adam is a man who is completely filled with hate and evil. He is not one to work with others and is quick to hold grudges against others.

Appearance: As everyone probably knows, Billy Batson is a kid, until he calls upon the power of Shazam !!!

Fantasy changes: When he calls upon his powers, it doesn't transform his clothing. Also, the power of SHAZAM isn't instantaneous anymore. It takes several minutes for the lightning bolt to manefest. Over the last year, on two occasions it took almost six hours for the power to reach him. There has only been one time it never appeared.

But guess what? This transformation is now... REVERSED! He's an adult when normal, and turns into a teenager when empowered! What a twist, huh?

Personality: That of a young boy. Optimistic, slightly naive and fun-loving. Always tries to do what is right, and is generally described as the perfect "boy scout". He believes that he hasn't really earned his power from that old man, and strives to prove himself worthy.

Powers:

S	for the Wisdom of Solomon	As Captain Marvel, Billy has instant access to a vast amount of scholarly knowledge, including most known languages and sciences. He has exceptional photographic recall and mental acuity, allowing him to read and decipher hieroglyphs, recall everything he has ever learned, and solve long mathematical equations. He also has a great understanding of divine phenomena in the mortal world. The wisdom of Solomon provides him with counsel and advice in times of need. In early Captain Marvel stories, Solomon's power also gave Marvel the ability to hypnotize people.
H	for the Strength of Hercules	Hercules' power grants Captain Marvel immense superhuman strength, making him one of DC Comics' strongest characters. In the comics, this strength has evolved parallel to that of Superman.
A	for the Stamina of Atlas	Using Atlas' stamina, Captain Marvel can withstand and survive most types of extreme physical assaults, and heal from them. Additionally, he does not need to eat, sleep, or breathe, and can survive unaided in space when in Captain Marvel form. In some stories, the stamina of Atlas makes Captain Marvel nearly invulnerable.
Z	for the Power ofZeus	Zeus' power, besides fueling the magic thunderbolt that transforms Captain Marvel, also enhances Marvel's other physical and mental abilities, and grants him resistance against all magic spells and attacks. The hero can use the lightning bolt as a weapon by dodging it and allowing it to strike an opponent or other target. The magic lightning has several uses, such as creating apparatus, restoring damage done to the hero, and providing fuel for magic spells. If Billy is poisoned, for example, transforming will enable him to survive its effects. In some stories, Captain Marvel is able to personally generate and control lightning for various uses. A	for the Courage ofAchilles	This aspect gives Captain Marvel the courage and bravery of Achilles and, in one story, it is claimed to give him fighting skills. It also aids the hero's mental fortitude against most mental attacks.
M	for the Speed ofMercury	By channeling Mercury's speed, Captain Marvel can move at superhuman speeds and fly. This also gives Marvel the ability to fly to the Rock of Eternity by traveling faster than the speed of light.

Backstory (What you have done for a year in this world.): Trying to find a way back home! There's no T.V. here! Heck, these people don't even know what Baseball is! This place is a drag, and it's high time to make like a banana and split.
He's been traveling, looking for anything he think that can help him get home. His first Idea was to just fly out in space, but he has no idea where the heck this planet is! Where the hell is even the North Star?? It's not in the sky, that's for sure.

Mainly, he's been hitting up all the pools of knowledge he's come across. Like libraries, philosophers, historians and Mages. Not learned that much though.

Also, he's saved a number of people during this last year, but is careful of where he transforms. To his knowledge no one has see him change yet.
